I participated in the buffet course. The food was decent. Since I attended on a Friday, I was able to enjoy the Hilton fireworks from the boat. The top floor allows smoking, which is great for smokers. The show was fun, and while the final interactive dance might not be enjoyable for Japanese people who can't dance, I had a great time. The price is reasonable, and you can enjoy the meal, show, and cruising all at once, making it perfect for those short on time. It's easy to get there by bus from Waikiki, and you can explore the nearby downtown or Kaka'ako's wall art before the cruise, so I think it's a day well spent without any waste. I would like to participate again.

ショーも楽しく　最後の参加型ダンスも　踊れない日本人には楽しくないかもしれないが　自分はかなり楽しかった。　値段もお手頃で　食事　ショー　クルージングが1度に楽しめるので　時間がない人には　ピッタリだと思います。　ワイキキからバスで簡単に行けるし　クルージングまでは　近くのダウンタウンかカカアコのウォールアート散策出来るから　無駄がない１日を過ごせると思います。　また参加したいと思います。

We boarded a large ship and headed offshore from Honolulu. We could see the Honolulu skyline and Diamond Head, and we searched for whales at a distance quite close to the land.

When a whale is spotted, there’s an announcement on the ship saying, “There it is at the direction of ◯ o'clock,” so we can move smoothly. (laugh)

In the first half, the whales were so far away that we couldn’t see them at all without binoculars, and I wasn’t excited at all. However, in the second half, suddenly two whales came close to the ship! I was thrilled to see them spouting water and their fins with the naked eye! I felt the grandeur of nature. I highly recommend it! 😊

It was my first whale watching cruise. Since you can't guarantee a sighting, I was nervous, but I'm glad we were able to see them safely.

We didn't see the spectacular jumps like in the photos, but a baby whale popped its head up several times, and it was very cute. I wonder if it was practicing its jumps?

The cruise was longer than I expected, and even if we hadn't seen any whales, I think I would have been fully satisfied just enjoying the beautiful sea and scenery of Hawaii.

By the way, we took the bus from our hotel in Honolulu to the meeting point, and even as a first-time bus rider in Hawaii, I arrived safely. However, the bus frequency is low, so be careful with the timing.

初めてのホエールウォッチングクルーズでした。必ず見れるわけではないので、ドキドキでしたが、無事に見れて良かったです。
写真で見るような豪快なジャンプは見れませんでしたが、赤ちゃんクジラが何度も顔を出してくれて、とても可愛かったです。ジャンプの練習してたのかな？
思ったよりクルージングも長く、もしクジラが見れなかったとしても、ハワイの綺麗な海と景色が見れて充分満足だったと思います。
ちなみに、集合場所までは自分たちでホノルルのホテルからバスで行きましたが、ハワイのバス初体験の私でも無事に到着できました。ただし、バスの本数は少ないので、時間には要注意です。

次回は、豪快な迫力あるジャンプが見れれば良いなと思います。

First cruise, 3 stars.
I couldn't help but feel the difference in quality, perhaps because I had steak and lobster at Wolfgang the day before. However, the last 15 minutes of the show were truly spectacular, and the entire venue was filled with a sense of unity and excitement! The sunset was lovely, but with the food and music, it was hard to find the right moment to stand up... (laughs) Still, I enjoyed it thoroughly while seated. My first time in Hawaii was a wonderful experience.

The hula and haka shows were incredibly exciting and fun! The food included unlimited crab and steak, and it was very delicious. The waiter recommended the crab and brought it to us, so we were able to eat until we were full!

Since the onboard shows were so lively, there was surprisingly little time to go outside and enjoy the scenery—it went by in a flash! With many participants and a variety of languages spoken on the ship, it was thrilling to be on board!

The transportation was smooth, and I thought the staff were kind and helpful.

The dress code was not strict, and casual attire was perfectly fine!

I highly recommend it!

It was great! Got to see 8 sea turtles and a lot of fish. After snorkeling, they did a couple of laps around which was really relaxing and even got to see a whale (although I´m sure it might not be that common to see a whale).

The only down side was that it´s in Waikiki so there were several other tours in the same area so it was a bit crowded.

I highly recommend this activity if your staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki.

It was AMAZING getting up close and personal with the turtles! I recommend bringing on the trip a waterproof camera or GoPro!!!! The snorkel equipment they provided was clean and in great shape. They offered a full bar and 2 types of draft beer! The Crew was awesome! They kept the drinks coming and provided us with lunch after our swim and was able to just relax out on the boat and enjoy the view.

I was optimistic when I booked a tour for just $39 that would take us out to sea and back, but the weather was nice, the waves were high, and the combination of the captain and the crew made it an entertaining experience with jokes and skilled navigation (though I can't explain it). It turned out to be a fantastic tour lasting an hour and a half, and I was very satisfied as I got to bond with all the passengers.

We went sailing with sea turtles and surfers, and although I was a bit worried about the drinks, I was able to enjoy two cans of Budweiser for just $3 each without any concerns.

What I regret is that Japanese people don't understand the tipping culture, and I didn't put a tip in the glass jar placed at the bottom of the stairs when disembarking. I feel sorry for the staff who made us so happy, and I am embarrassed about it. I also purchased some photos.

It was a great day filled with great adventure. I saw a bunch of turtles and even Had a few swim a little closer than the 2 meters we were told to give them. The crew was fantastic. They were always checking on us on the boat and were always with in sight in the water.

The only thing I didn’t like was the 42 people (plus the 4 crew members) on board. It felt crowded even when were spread out on the nets and side (hard to move around to and from the bar.) capping the max to 35 guests (plus 4 crew) would have made it an outstanding day.

I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who is looking for a beautiful sunset in an amazing city with a lively crew.

At first, I was anxious because it said only English would be spoken, but when I actually boarded, there were Japanese people on board, which made me feel relieved! On the day of the trip, I was picked up near my accommodation at the Outrigger and taken to the port, where I received instructions about boarding. (There was a public restroom nearby.) There were about 20 to 30 participants (including 6 Japanese people, including us), and we slowly moved in front of Waikiki Beach. The waves were calm that day, and the boat didn't sway at all.

On the boat, soft drinks (Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, ginger ale, and water) were available for unlimited refills, and it felt like you could just help yourself from the icebox (laughs). There were sweet snacks like Ritz sandwich cookies available! After about 30 minutes from departure, we dropped anchor and received the signal to enter the water. There were also floating rings and children's life jackets, which made me feel safe for families with kids! You could jump into the sea from the side of the boat, or there were stairs in the middle for entering the water, which was reassuring!

There was about 40 to 50 minutes of free time to swim and take photos! (I recommend a waterproof cover for your phone.) It was a clear day, and the sunset and Waikiki Beach were incredibly beautiful! After the free time ended, we slowly returned to the port while moving towards Diamond Head, and finally, we were taken back to the Outrigger, just like on the way there. It was my first time in Hawaii, but even as a beginner, I felt comfortable, and I thought this experience was a great value for the price, so I definitely recommend everyone to participate!

海へは船のサイドから飛び込むか、中央には入水用の階段も設置されており安心です！
だいたい40～50分くらいの自由時間があって
海に入ったり写真を撮ったり出来ます！(携帯の防水カバーをオススメします)
この日は快晴でサンセットやワイキキビーチが凄い綺麗でした！
自由時間が終わるとダイヤモンドヘッド側に移動しながらゆっくりと港に帰港し、最後は行きと同じアウトリガーまで送迎してもらい終了！
初めてのハワイでしたが初心者の私でも平気でしたし、この内容でこの参加費はお得だなと思いましたので皆様も是非参加してみて下さい！

I wanted to enjoy the Hilton fireworks from the sea, so I made a reservation for Friday night. Our seats were on the left side by the window, but the fireworks were on the right side. After finishing the main course, I briefly left before dessert to watch the fireworks from the right side balcony. The fireworks lasted about 10 minutes. On the day we participated, there were some waves, so the boat rocked quite a bit. A few people looked like they were struggling with seasickness. If you're prone to motion sickness, taking medication is a must. The food was delicious, and the portions were ample.

ヒルトンの花火を海上から鑑賞してみたく、金曜の夜の予約で参加させて頂きました。席は窓側左舷でしたが、花火が上がるのは右舷側です。メイン料理が終わってデザート前に一旦離籍して、右舷側バルコニーで花火鑑賞しました。花火は10分弱でしょうか。我々が参加した日は、少し波がありましたので、船は結構揺れました。数名の方が、船酔いのため辛そうにされていました。乗り物が苦手な方は、酔い止め必須です。食事は美味しかったです。量も十分でした。

We received a notice that local registration ends by 4:30 PM. We are participating with two children and ourselves. The kids have packed our short trip to Hawaii with a full schedule and are using Uber to get around. We had planned to meet on-site but arrived at 4:35 PM, five minutes late. The cruise departed around 5:20 PM. The seating is determined based on the ordered meals. The four of us were at the buffet on the lowest level. Initially, bread and drinks are brought to our seats. After that, we can freely help ourselves. The ship sails slowly to Waikiki, and throughout the journey, Hawaiian music and singing are constantly playing over the microphone. At times, they invite participation in hula dancing, and we can enjoy drinks and have a good time. The ship goes out to Waikiki, but the enjoyment of the cruise is somewhat limited. The food is decent. Chinatown is close to the pier, but it is said that there are security concerns during the time the cruise ends. Additionally, be aware that there are few restrooms on the ship.

I booked only the cruise without the shuttle option, so I gathered and disbanded on-site. It takes about 30 to 40 minutes by bus from the center of Waikiki to the meeting place. The bus doesn't arrive on time, so I recommend taking action early.

The meal was as expected, but it wasn't particularly luxurious. The crab was all-you-can-eat, but while watching the dance and going out on the deck, I surprisingly didn't have much time to eat, and in the end, I didn't go for seconds.

Since it's a one-star, it's on the lowest floor. I think it's probably a three-star floor, but when the hula dance starts, the strong footsteps of the male dancers resonate so much that I mistook them for the sound of fireworks. After watching the fireworks and taking a breather, a time starts where the waiters encourage everyone, regardless of passengers, to "let's dance!"

集合場所へはバスでワイキキの中心地から30分から40分ほどで着きます。バスは時間通りに来ないので早めの行動をオススメします。

カニは食べ放題でしたがダンスを見たりデッキに出たりしてると意外と食べる時間がなく、結局お代わりはしませんでした。

花火を見終わりひと段落すると港に着くまでウェイターさん乗客関係なく「みんなで踊ろう！」みたいな時間が始まります笑
ダンスが終わると下船しバスで帰ります。Googleで検索した経路のバス停だと人通りが少なくバスを待っている間は少し不安でした。気になる方は送迎のオプションを検討された方がいいかもしれません。
カジュアルにクルーズを楽しみたいなら十分です。終始期待通りで旅行最後の夜を非常に楽しく過ごせました。オススメです。

I went whale watching in early February 2020. The weather was nice, but we couldn't see any whales. I thought maybe it was a bit early in the season since they apparently don't jump until after giving birth. The hotel sent a bus to pick us up, but it arrived more than 10 minutes late, which made me anxious that we might have gone to the wrong meeting place. Once the bus arrives, they call out names, so there's no need to worry while waiting. I opted for the breakfast option, but there wasn't much time, and the menu was quite limited, which was disappointing. The good thing was that the sea was beautiful! I hope this helps you.

We had a great time on the tour. The boat was easy to find. We signed a waiver and picked a spot to sit until it was time to leave. The crew were friendly and told us where to sit if we want a splash (my kids did) and where to stay dry. They even kept our bag somewhere safe from the waves. My kids loved laying on the net and riding out to turtle canyon. We were one of the first boats out there. They went over some simple instructions and handed out snorkeling equipment. I liked the life vests they used-it was an aqua lung type instead of a basic life jacket so you could choose how much air to have. I had brought a life jacket for my toddler and 5yr old, but they also had life vests for some other kids on our tour.

I had a 10, 5, and 22mo old with me. The crew was helpful handing out stuff and trying to find a mask to fit my 5yr old. She is actually a pretty good snorkel-er but unfortunately it was hard finding a mask and snorkel that fit her. They kept filling with water. I wish I had known and I would have brought hers. If you have a set you like-my tip is to bring it. They did not provide fins either which was ok but I can get my kids and I around easier with fins. The masks and snorkels were pretty basic. Mine fogged up every couple minutes but luckily I am experienced and can clear it. That’s the only draw-back about the trip is I would have rather had our own stuff that we have properly cleaned and fit better. It’s February and kind of a windy/rainy day but it was still warm enough to be comfortable In the water. There were lots of waves and the water was cloudy so it was difficult to see. Soon there were tons of boats and people. We mostly interacted with Matt. He was out in the water life guarding. He helped us find the turtles and was so nice letting my kids hold onto his surfboard when needed. He even helped me carry my middle daughter to the beach since I had my hands full. Thank you! He definitely made the tour great!

I made a reservation for the event on the last day in Hawaii. We departed on a four-story ship, sent off with hula dancing. I was moved by the view of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the rooftop deck! I was amazed by the sunset!! The food was incredible!!! The night view of Waikiki was breathtaking!!!! The Hawaiian songs and dances were so moving!!!!! The crew and staff were fantastic!!!!!! It was a truly unforgettable experience filled with emotions. The event was enjoyable for everyone on board, and I was completely satisfied.

I was worried about whether I would really be able to see anything based on the reviews, but from about 30 minutes after departure, I was able to see continuously. I couldn't see the large figure right in front of me, though... I didn't include breakfast, so I went outside early and watched from above. There were English announcements followed by explanations in Japanese, so I think it would be fine for those who don't understand English. Since this ship is large, I think even those who are prone to seasickness would be okay. On the way back, I asked the driver if I could be dropped off at Ala Moana, and I thought he said okay, but in the end, I was just passed by. However, I was able to get off without going to the pickup location, which saved me time for my plans afterward. Next time, I want to go on a slightly smaller ship.
