This cruise was amazing and my partners highlight of our trip. The captain was very informative and went through all the possible creatures we were likely to see. At the reef we saw a number of turtles being cleaned by the fish which was very interesting to see. As a bonus we even saw a humpback whale as we headed back to the dock. Would definitely recommend this cruise.

I'm glad I was able to participate the next day, but I couldn't see the whales as well as I wanted from the photos. However, I felt good about the cruise! I thought it might be better if the duration was a little shorter.

This was an absolutley amazing experience! I had this planned for my last night on Oahu and it didnt disappoint! Amazing people, with even more amazing views. Island Magic is a beautiful Catamaran to escape on. You can even bring drinks, just so long as it's not in a glass container. Swimming off the boat was an adventure I'll never forget. Definitely 100% totally worth it!

My friends and I wanted a good-priced sunset booze cruise with drinks included so this was the perfect option for us. You depart right in front of Dukes restaurant on Waikiki beach so it's really convenient location if you're staying in Waikiki. Three drinks are included and we sailed all the way to Diamond Head. I am very prone to getting sea sick, but I took bonine 1 hour prior to the sail and I was completely fine. I would totally recommend this cruise for someone wanting a relaxing activity to enjoy the sunset on the ocean

I used 5 Star. The atmosphere on the top floor was great, and the view was amazing. I thought 5 Star would be good if you want to enjoy dinner in a quiet and spacious setting. However, the rocking was strong, and my wife got seasick as soon as the soup was served. I was fine, but those who are prone to motion sickness might not be able to stay until the end. (I'm not sure if it was a particularly rocky day due to the weather.) The staff noticed my wife's seasickness and provided her with motion sickness medication and guided her to a room where she could lie down, so their response afterward was good. Thank you very much. I couldn't eat much of the food, but I felt good about the atmosphere and the staff's response. ^_^

最上階にて店内の雰囲気もよく、景色も最高でした。静かに広い空間でディナーを楽しみたいなら5スターが良いなと思いました。

It was cloudy and there was occasional rain, so I didn't expect much from the sunset, but once the boat went out to sea, the clouds cleared and we were able to see a beautiful sunset! I was also thrilled to spot dolphins and whales in the distance! The crew was always attentive to our drinks. The Mai Tai cocktail was very delicious, so I highly recommend it. There were no staff members who spoke Japanese, but I didn't find it inconvenient at all.

We were advised to buy drinks and snacks at a convenience store before boarding since outside food and drinks were allowed. It seemed that water and crackers (peanut butter sandwiches) were available for free, but perhaps due to a language barrier, no one seemed to take them as they weren't strongly encouraged. After heading out to sea for a while, we had some time to swim. We didn't plan to swim, but everyone else seemed to be enjoying it. However, it looked quite cold after getting out, so it would be wise to bring a jacket or something. The weather was nice, and we were able to see a beautiful sunset offshore! The staff were friendly and had a relaxed vibe, which was great!

I arrived at the meeting place 30 minutes early, and after signing the waiver, we were instructed to gather again 10 minutes before departure. It’s a 2-minute walk to the boarding area.

We set sail with two cheerful guys at the helm. The trip lasted just under 2 hours, sailing offshore with the trade winds, and the scenery was beautiful, just as I expected. There were some Japanese passengers who got seasick, but many others were enjoying themselves with drinks.

Soft drinks are about $2, and beer is around $4. We were lucky to see sea turtles offshore.

I woke up early with the kids and was excited to go.

I had heard that the captain would let us know if there were whales, but I couldn't understand in English, so I hurried to follow everyone else. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see any whales. It's a natural occurrence, so I understand, but I started to think that maybe I don't need to try again.

We gathered in the morning and took a bus to the dock. The boat was large and impressive, and it was great that it didn't sway much. Fortunately, we encountered a pod of whales several times. Although we were a bit far from them, we could definitely feel their presence, which was very fulfilling. It seems that the encounter rate is high, so I think it's worth going during whale season.

I participated in the buffet course. The food was decent. Since I attended on a Friday, I was able to enjoy the Hilton fireworks from the boat. The top floor allows smoking, which is great for smokers. The show was fun, and while the final interactive dance might not be enjoyable for Japanese people who can't dance, I had a great time. The price is reasonable, and you can enjoy the meal, show, and cruising all at once, making it perfect for those short on time. It's easy to get there by bus from Waikiki, and you can explore the nearby downtown or Kaka'ako's wall art before the cruise, so I think it's a day well spent without any waste. I would like to participate again.
