I wanted to go on a cruise, so I made a reservation! Since it was a bit pricey, I chose the most affordable meal. It was disappointing that I couldn't go out to the upper deck because there was a private event. It was nice to see the music and dance, but I wasn't sure if I could freely go out to the deck, and before I knew it, the sunset had already set, so I couldn't take any photos. If it's your first time in Hawaii, I think it's worth participating.

The whole experience was amazing! We got picked up at our hotel in Waikiki at 4pm, our bus staff were awesome especially “Cousin” Hula, she was hilarious and made the bus ride there and back wonderful. She also was one of the workers at the Luau and waited on us. The dancers were so talented and the food was delicious. The cherry on top to a perfect week was the beautiful view that comes with Paradise Cove, breathtaking..

I participated at Pacific Star, but the room was small and felt cramped. I definitely recommend opting for a 3-star experience even if it costs more! The food, including salad, simmered fish, teriyaki chicken, and roasted chicken, was quite delicious. Above all, the view from the ship was fantastic, especially since the weather was nice! The scenery transitioning from sunset to night view is worth seeing! Additionally, the way the dancers got everyone excited was great, and finishing with everyone dancing together was a lot of fun!

We started our meal before setting sail, and we departed right away! Watching the sunset from the boat was amazing. After that, the Hawaiian show was very satisfying. There was hula dancing and Tahitian dancing, and at the end, all the guests danced together, which was so much fun! It was truly enjoyable!

The staff who could speak Japanese were not present, and the timing for taking drink orders was poor; the items we ordered didn't arrive unless we prompted them. I was a bit disappointed since I made an effort to meet the dress code. There were many people, both Japanese and non-Japanese, who did not adhere to the dress code, and if you expect a five-star experience, you might be let down.

There were many older Japanese guests who were loud and disruptive when drunk, ruining the jazz experience. The staff on the shuttle bus also weren't very proficient in Japanese and their service was careless, so if you want to avoid a bad feeling from the start, I recommend opting for the shuttle service.

I think it could be a nice dinner cruise if the participants were more respectful of the etiquette, but for us, it wasn't worth the high price. The fireworks on Friday were beautiful, though! (laughs)

送迎のバスのスタッフも日本語があまり得意ではない&対応は雑なので、スタートから嫌な気持ちになりたくないなら送迎オプションつけたほうがいいと思います。
参加者がしっかりマナーを守れる方々が沢山いればいいディナークルーズになるとは思いますが、自分たちには高い料金払う価値は無かったです。
金曜日の花火は綺麗でしたよ(笑)

Since my goal was to watch the sunset, I chose the most affordable course, but I thoroughly enjoyed the buffet-style meal. What impressed me the most was that shortly after the meal began, I realized I didn't have my camera. When I informed the staff about it, they desperately searched for it. Fortunately, my camera was safely returned to me. Even though it was a busy time, I was very happy with how they responded with smiles. I also appreciate their efforts to understand my somewhat unclear English. Thanks to them, I was able to capture the fireworks from the boat with my camera. While sightseeing, it's easy to focus on the food and scenery, but I felt that all the staff here were wonderful people as well.

I was able to enjoy a relaxed and romantic atmosphere. However, I felt a bit disappointed that the crew seemed somewhat tense with each other. Was I just imagining it? There was also a scene where a young dancer was being scolded loudly in the restroom, which took away from the romantic setting. In comparison, I couldn't help but feel a bit envious of the loud laughter and applause coming from the three-star venue downstairs.

I participated in the dinner cruise because I had a strong image of it when thinking of Hawaii. For the Three Star cruise, you don't have to worry too much about your outfit. A T-shirt and jeans were perfectly fine.

Also, in the email just before the tour, it mentioned something like "tips are necessary," but not many people were giving tips.

The staff were all smiling and responded in Japanese here and there, which was nice. In the latter half of the show, they really got everyone excited during the group dance.

Dancing in a circle was fun, but I felt that the song lineup was a bit outdated... It seems like the content hasn't changed much in about 20 years. I think there are more newlyweds born in the Heisei era who might not connect with The Beatles or YMCA. If they could take that into account, it might be even more exciting. Also, the spacing between seats at the Three Star is narrow, so it was enjoyable to chat casually with the guests at the nearby tables.

ビートルズやYMCAがピンとこない平成生まれの新婚も増えているかと思います。
そのあたりも汲み取っていただけたらもっと盛り上がるんじゃないかなー。
あと、スリースターは隣の席との間隔が狭いので、
近くのテーブルのお客さんと気さくにお話ができるのも楽しかったです。

You can feel like you are traveling in the great outdoors. The horses are smart, and I felt safe riding even as a beginner. On the course, there were cows grazing, we walked through the forest, and we could see the ocean from a high point. This was truly the essence of horseback riding in Hawaii! They also stop along the way so you can take photos.

However, the guide is a very nice person, but since they don't speak Japanese, the instructions on how to ride and handle the horse are given in English. It might be a bit difficult for those who don't understand any English...

I recommend it for those who have a car and can understand a little bit of English!

The sunset was beautiful! The night view of the hotels at Waikiki Beach was also stunning. The lobster and steak on the course were delicious. I had Opus One wine, but the glass was a bit disappointing. The show was enjoyable and good, but to see the view, it's best to go to the top deck, which makes it difficult to enjoy both the show and the scenery.

I had a horseback riding experience with my husband. On the day we made our reservation, it was canceled due to heavy rain the day before, but we were able to quickly reschedule and go horseback riding. I had previously ridden at a different place, but this one felt more homey, and the instructor was very nice. They taught us how to ride and handle the horses in a clear and thorough manner. The course took us through the great outdoors for just under an hour. We saw some cute cows along the way. We also had a view of the ocean. Unlike the previous riding place, we were able to stop along the way for photo opportunities. If I have the chance to go to Hawaii again, I would love to visit this riding stable again.

I was able to make a reservation at a lower price than other sites. Since I was unsure about the roads, I requested a pickup from the hotel to the location. On the first day I arrived in Honolulu, I checked into the hotel at 3 PM and it was just right to take a little break until 4 PM before heading out. I chose the cheapest buffet plan, but the food was delicious, and the Polynesian dance show was impressive and wonderful, leaving me very satisfied.

On Friday night, there were fireworks, so since I had come on a trip, I made an early reservation for this tour to watch the sunset and enjoy Hawaiian music while viewing the fireworks from the boat.
My biggest concern was the boat rocking. I tend to get motion sickness, so I took medication, but as the sun set, the wind picked up quite a bit, and the boat rocked a lot. However, while watching the cheerful Hawaiian songs and dances inside the boat, it quickly became time for the fireworks. The moon was very beautiful that night, and it was wonderful.
The food was also great; my son had chicken and devoured it, saying it was delicious. I had lobster, which was too big for me to finish.
Since I didn't book through a travel agency like JTB or HIS, I was honestly worried about whether my reservation was properly made when I arrived at the crowded meeting place. It was convenient because I had an e-voucher and it was ticketless. I highly recommend this if you're going to Hawaii at least once.

North Shore Sunset & Daytime Horseback Riding with Ocean Views - Gunstock Ranch

I booked this horseback riding tour because my boyfriend has expressed how much he has always wanted to ride a horse. I did a quick search and Veltra had this awesome offer for a 2-for-1 which I found perfect as a surprise for him! I booked it and got confirmation very quickly.
We were coming from Honolulu so the drive took about an hour. Our booking was at 2pm and check-in was at 1:30pm. The early check-in was for the explanation of the liability and consent form while they prepared the horses. There was the two of us plus a small family of three. Helmets are recommended but not required- they are free to use. (If opt to not use a helmet, you must sign a section on the liability form) Around 10 minutes before 2pm, they explain and demonstrate how to ride and take care of our horses. We get on and begin the tour shortly after 2pm!
We got lucky with the weather! When we first arrived, it was grey, cloudy and started to drizzle. By the time we began our horse ride it turned sunny! Leanna was our guide and she is the sweetest person! We were all beginning horseback riders so we went at a good pace. She talked about the range, answered our questions, asked about ourselves, and made sure we were all comfortable and in control of our horses throughout the entire tour. The trail included uphill, downhill, and flat plains. The top view was absolutely stunning. We got to see the beautiful blue ocean in-front of us and the Ko'olau mountains behind us. Leanna even took our photos and they came out amazing. It was so serene, sunny and not too hot because there were cool breezes throughout that hour trail ride.
This is definitely an experience of a lifetime. I am so incredibly happy we got to do this! The views were breathtaking and I will be attaching photos even though the real thing is 1000 times better! We'll be doing it again the next time we get the chance. Thank you so much Leanna and Gunstock Range for a lovely time and thank you Veltra for the great offer!

My wife and I were in Hawaii for our honeymoon and wanted to venture out to the north shore of Oahu to get a taste of the landscape out there. I booked a horseback riding tour for our first full day in Oahu, and even though we had to get up early to make it out in time for our ride, it was SO worth it. Everything with the ride and staff at Gunstock ranch was perfect. Finding the ranch was easy and the signs leading to where we needed to go were so clear. We showed up a little early and our tour guide was still grooming and prepping the horses for the day, but she let us wander around and meet some of the horses. She was so kind and informative and did an amazing job leading our ride. She was patient and very clear in her instructions, and even though our ride was only 1 hour I feel like she went above and beyond to pack as much as she could into our hour ride! The service from Gunstock ranch was TOP NOTCH and I would HIGHLY recommend anybody to check it out. Even if the price seems a little high, it was so worth it and I can guarantee you will not regret making the trek out and taking a trail ride with Gunstock ranch. The location / area is so beautiful, we even saw a full and amazing rainbow the morning of our ride. If I could give this company / this ride 6 stars I would! I will definitely come back again next time we are on the island!

Two years ago, in 2015, my family and I experienced the same tour course and had a great time, so I thought it would definitely be enjoyable for our honeymoon trip as well and signed up.

However, when we actually went on the day, the content was completely different from two years ago, and I couldn't enjoy it.

Considering just this time, I booked a lower-priced, casual course, so I can see how it might be appropriate for that. 場所　　：船の一階、尾の部分だったのか中央に凹の形の空間で、全体は見渡せず、手狭でした。
ショー　：衣装を着たフラや踊りは15分ほどしかなく、あとは給仕スタッフの発表会のようなもの、老齢の男性のウクレレショー（カラオケ程度）が続きました。
参加型のものもありました。
（フラなどの出し物があっているまにすっかり日がおち、サンセットは見れませんでした）
ごはん　：期待はしていなかったのですが、それにしても品数も少なく、本当にがっかりでした。

２年前は船の1階、中央部分、広く全体が見渡せる席でした。
ショーも、本格的な衣装を着た男性・女性が次々にフラダンスや踊りを披露してくれ、ときに給仕のスタッフの子が踊ったり、参加型のイベントもとても楽しかったです。

次回の参加は考えられません。

Since we participated on Friday, we were able to see the Hilton fireworks from the boat! The staff were all friendly, and the captain talked a lot with the kids, making it a wonderful memory for the whole family.

It was convenient to be picked up at the hotel. There was a dedicated waiter at the assigned seat who brought drinks and food. The all-you-can-eat crab was especially impressive; I ate several additional servings of boiled crab, leaving no time to watch the show. It was nice to receive a complimentary commemorative photo on the way back.

宿泊ホテルに送迎されらくでした。指定された席に専属のウエイターがおり、飲み物や料理を運んでくれる。特にカニの食べ放題は山盛りの茹でたカニを追加で何本も食べ、ショーを見る暇もないくらいでした。帰りには記念写真をタダでくれて良かったです。
