I took advantage of the long holiday to travel to Hawaii. While looking for optional activities, I found Paradise Cove in Ko Olina, where you can enjoy an authentic luau, and I signed up out of curiosity. On the day of the event, when I arrived 30 minutes before the opening, there were already many people lined up. Once the doors opened, we received a welcome drink (either alcoholic or soft drink) and were greeted with leis as we entered. After that, they reserved seats for us from the front. 連休を利用してハワイ旅行に行きました。オプショナルを探していたところコオリナに本物のルアウを堪能できるパラダイスコーブがあることを知り興味本位に申し込みをしました。申し込みの日、開場の30分前に行くともう大勢の人が並んでいました。開場が始まりウエルカムドリンク(アルコールかソフトドリンク)をいただきレイの歓迎を受け入場しました。その後、席の場所を前の方から予約してくれます。列ぶ意味がわかりました。食事までアクティビティを楽しめます。ホラガイの音に皆集まります。言葉がわからなくても楽しめました。ちなみに今日は日本人は一人もいませんでした。外国に来たってかんじですか！食事はバイキング方式で伝統の豚の丸焼きも食べれます。ショーは最高です。今まで見たフラ、ルアウと一味違います。ぜひご賞味あれ！！

We participated with nine people, including my 83-year-old mother, three sons, a daughter-in-law, and a two-year-old grandchild. The lobster and steak were fairly good, but it was disappointing that the drinks took a long time to be served and didn't arrive at the same time as the meal. The Polynesian show and music were great, and everyone at the table was friendly. Before we docked, almost all participants joined in dancing, which was a lot of fun. Unfortunately, we couldn't see the sunset due to the clouds, but that can't be helped. I felt like there wasn't enough time.

On the last day in Honolulu, I participated in a tour. It seems that lobster and steak are specialties here, but since the meal options overlapped with other optional tours for the three-star rating, I opted for the one-star all-you-can-eat crab and steak.

I was quite anxious about the meal quality given the one-star rating, but the crab was shoulder-cut snow crab, and the meat was decent, so it was satisfactory. Personally, I think the meal quality is sufficient even for a one-star rating. However, it was more of a one-time offer for seconds rather than an all-you-can-eat experience, as they only came around once to ask if I wanted more.

The show takes place in several areas on the same floor, so you can see it well from any seat. I recommend going to the top of the boat for a better view of the scenery.

Then, under the guidance of Sheina, my 2-year-old daughter rode a pony while the adults rode larger horses, taking a leisurely 20-minute walk in a single file through the grasslands and bushes. The horses ridden by the adults would sometimes stop to eat grass, so we had to kick the stirrups to encourage them to move forward, or pull the reins to bring them back into line if they started to walk too fast. It was a very valuable experience to operate the horse by ourselves for the first time.

唯一の難点は、送迎がないのでノースショア方面まで自分で行かなければいけないことですが、どうしてもガンストック牧場でお願いしたかったのでガイド付きの車をチャーターしてハレイワ観光とセットで行くことにしました。
敷地が広大で馬に乗って見る景色は大変美しく、心地よい風と気候で癒されました。またハワイに訪れる際は立ち寄りたいと思います。

We went to Hawaii for our honeymoon and overseas wedding! My husband and I decided early on that we would definitely go to Star of Honolulu 5-Star and made our reservation right away.

We were blessed with good weather, and it was relatively relaxed with the 5-Star not being too crowded. It was quite fun to be interrupted by a cargo ship during the sunset moment, so it turned out well (laughs).

However, the air conditioning was extremely strong, so a jacket is a must. I wore a jacket, but I was still cold. The wonderful jazz was also amazing, so I'm glad I could participate now that it's for adults only!

Starting with the negative points. My husband is not a fan of shrimp, so we opted for the cheaper one-star course. The seats were more cramped than I imagined, and both sides were occupied by Japanese couples. I was closer to the husband of the couple next to us than to my own husband (laughs).

I was excited to indulge in the all-you-can-eat crab, but after one round of refills, I was waiting for a second opportunity when they started serving dessert, and it became awkward to ask for more crab, leaving me feeling unsatisfied (laughs).

However, the taste of the steak and crab was excellent. Our waiter was delightful, and the shows, including the hula, were fantastic. The sunset and location from the deck were also amazing. After finishing our meal, I went up to the deck during the show, and one body was not enough to enjoy both the incredible show and the stunning view (laughs).

Overall, it was truly a wonderful cruising dinner and has become a top memory. I'm really glad I participated.

旦那がエビが苦手なので安い方の１スターのコースにしました。
すると想像よりもぎゅうぎゅう詰めの席で両サイドは同じく日本人カップル。
向かいの自分の旦那よりも、隣のカップルの旦那さんとの方が近かったです（笑）
カニが食べ放題との事でたらふく食べてやる！と意気込んでいたのですが、おかわりを一回し、二回目のタイミングを伺っていたところに早くもデザートが配られはじめ、カニのおかわりを言える雰囲気ではなくなってしまい、不完全燃焼でした（笑）

ですが、ステーキ＆カニのお味は最高。
担当ウェイターさんも愉快な方で、フラなどのショーも最高。
デッキに上がって見たサンセットやロケーションも最高。
食べ終えてすぐショーの途中でデッキに上がってしまったので、
最高なショーと最高な景色を見るのに体が一つじゃ足りませんでした（笑）
トータルして、本当に素敵なクルージングディナーで最高位の思い出になりました。

Horseback riding in Hawaii. There are various options, but this was the only place I found that allows small children to ride, so I made a request. I thought it would be a short experience, more like a child's play (laughs), but to my surprise... we got to ride on a big, adorable horse and explore the mountain trails!

It was a unique experience that you can't have in Japan, and I really enjoyed it. My 2-year-old daughter fell asleep, so her dad rode instead. I had only made a reservation for my grandchild, but they easily accommodated changing it to one adult for my grandchild and adding another adult.

日本では、味わえない経験が出来て、とても楽しめました。2歳の女の子は寝てしまってパパが代わりに乗れました。孫だけの予約をしていたのですが、あちらで、孫1人大人に変更と、大人1人追加も簡単に対応していただきました。
次回は、じぃじ&ばぁばの2人旅の予定なので、新婚旅行で行った(笑)タートルベイの乗馬に行きたいなぁ‼って言ってます。来年のお正月になりますが、その時もヨロシクお願いします。

The location was BEAUTIFUL. The food was okay, the whole thing felt kind of rushed. There is a lot of activitys you can do before dinner. You are able to pay for additional drinks. There is 2 photo opportunities once when you get there and another before dinner with the sunset. You're able to pay for them after dinner.

The food was very good. You get about 30 mins between the food and show to go to the top and see the sunset. Good spot for pictures. Then you come back down for dessert and a show, the show was okay. After that they have dancing you dont have to participate if you do not want to. You can pay for additional drinks.
