Even as a first-timer, I was able to participate without any anxiety because the staff taught us patiently. I was also impressed by the beauty of the ocean! However, it seems that the weather conditions were unusually good recently, so I felt a bit underwhelmed as we reached the uninhabited island without much difficulty. For those with kayaking experience, it might be more enjoyable to just rent a kayak and move around freely.

Also, the pizza recommended by the guide for lunch was delicious.

初めてでもスタッフが丁寧に教えてくれたので、不安なく参加出来ました。
海のきれいさにも感動！
ただ、ここ最近では珍しいほど天候の条件が良かったらしく、特に苦労せず無人島まで辿り着けたので多少物足りなさを感じました。
カヤック経験者の方は、カヤックのみ借りて自由に動き回った方が面白いかも知れません。

あと、ランチに食べたガイドさんオススメのピザがうまかったです。

It was my first experience with kayaking, so I was worried it might be difficult to reach the uninhabited island, but it was no problem at all! Before getting into the kayak, we had a briefing on how to paddle, and even after we hit the water, our guide provided us with advice.

Due to my lack of exercise lately, my arms got a little tired (^ｰ^;), but the amazing views from the kayak made me forget all about that!!! On the uninhabited island, you can also snorkel if you wish. Next time, I want to challenge myself to a longer distance.

For the morning tour, we transported the kayaks from the shop to the beach, but since there was a cart, it was easy. Moving it from the cart to the sandy beach was a bit challenging (though it was just a short distance).

カヤック初体験だったので、無人島まで行くのは大変じゃないかな？と心配しましたが、まったく問題ありませんでした!カヤックに乗りこむ前に漕ぎ方のレクチャーがあり、海に出てからもガイドさんがアドバイスしてくれます。
日頃の運動不足のせいで、腕が少し疲れましたが(^ｰ^;)、カヤックから望む素晴らしい景色でそんなものは吹っ飛んでしまいます!!!

This was my first experience with sea kayaking, and it was a lot of fun. At one point, I lost my balance and capsized, but our guide, Jordan, helped me get back on track quickly, and I was able to enjoy myself. The view on the uninhabited island was so beautiful that I wished I had brought my camera (they lend you waterproof bags). I definitely plan to bring it next time. Kailua Beach is really pleasant, and during the free time in the first half of the tour, it might be nice to lay out a rental mat and just relax. By the way, the teriyaki chicken in the lunch plate was also delicious.

今回シーカヤック初挑戦でしたが、大変楽しかったです。途中、バランスを崩して横転してしまいましたが、ガイドのジョーダン君にすぐに立て直してもらい、楽しく過ごせました。無人島では景色が良かったのでカメラを持ってくれば良かったと思いました(防水の荷物入れを貸してくれます)。次回は必ず持っていこうと思います。カイルアのビーチは本当に気持ちよく、ツアー前半の自由時間はレンタルのゴザを敷いてぼーっとするのも気持ち良いかもしれません。余談ですが、お昼のプレートランチのテリヤキチキンも美味しかったです。

The weather was great, and it became a wonderful memory.
Pulling the kayak from the shop to the sea might be tough for girls, but it's all part of the experience♪
The sea was even more beautiful than I imagined.
I was able to see sea turtles twice while kayaking (*^^*)
The snorkeling wasn't that great, but I was happy to have a choice for lunch. It was delicious.
Since we had some time, we went cycling around the town after lunch.
The timing was just right, and it was a great tour.

店からカヤックを海まで引っ張っていくのは、女子にはきついかもだけど、
それも経験ということで♪

My wife and I participated together. The guide was very skilled in Japanese and was very considerate. However, it was disappointing that we had to carry the kayak from the shop to the beach (about 10 minutes), which was quite tiring.

Had a great time. We go to Hawaii once a year, and have gone on almost every tour. The best thing about this was the tremendous flexibility to do and swap activities. Not a "tourist" tour. Little fubar on scheduling, but the drive Harry made up for that. Time with Harry was as good or better than seeing the falls!!

In my case, during winter, I usually enjoy water activities in places like Cebu, so honestly, this tour was disappointing.

The snorkeling was not enjoyable due to strong waves and the beach wasn't very clean, so I didn't feel like doing it...

The sea kayaking to the uninhabited island was also a complete letdown; the ocean was not what I expected, and during this time of year, Oahu is cold, making water activities entirely disappointing.

We participated as a couple in our mid-50s. Unfortunately, it was windy and rainy, but we made it to the Twin Islands via Flat Island.

Since it was a self-guided plan, I initially struggled with how to paddle, but once I got the hang of it, I managed to move forward.

Even in the reef, the wind was strong, creating waves, and especially when leaving the Twin Islands, I had to time my paddling with the waves to avoid getting tossed around, which was a bit challenging.

The distance to the Twin Islands is about 3 km one way, but we were able to make the round trip in about two and a half hours, which surprised the staff.

However, it was quite cold due to the rain and wind, so we couldn't relax much even after landing on the island. We also couldn't go snorkeling.

It was quite tough, but it was a valuable experience that you can't easily have while in Japan. Reaching the Twin Islands gives you a sense of accomplishment.

Canoeing wasn't difficult even for an amateur like me at my age. Plus, wearing a life jacket made it safe.

What I regret is not being able to relax and snorkel in the beautiful sea or explore the Twin Islands. I would like to try again when the weather is better.

ガイド無しプランだったため
最初はどのように漕いだらよいか悩みましたが、なれれば何とか前へ進むものです。

リーフの中でも風が強いと波があり、特に双子の島からの離岸は波の引くタイミングを見計らって漕ぎ出さないと波にもまれる可能性がありちょっと大変でした。

双子の島までは片道3kmほど有りますが2時間半ほどで往復できスタッフの方もビックリされていました。

でも、本当は雨と風でじっとしていると寒くて島に上陸してもユックリしていられなかったのです。
シュノーケリングも出来ませんでした。

結構大変でしたが、日本にいるとなかなか出来ない貴重な体験が出来ました。
双子の島まで行くと達成感がありますよ。

私のような年齢の素人でもカヌーは難しくありませんでした。
また救命胴衣を付けているので危険もありません。

心残りはきれいな海でユックリとシュノーケリングと双子の島の散策が出来なかったこと。
天候が良い時期になら再チャレンジしてみたいです。

Transporting the sea kayak to the ocean might be a bit challenging... It feels tough with just two girls. It might be better to go with guys.

Once you're out on the sea, it's incredibly refreshing, and landing on a deserted island for a walk is fun. The beauty of the ocean is exceptional!!

When I can properly ride the sea kayak, I felt like I could drift on the waves for hours ❤️

As for whether I would do it again... Thinking back to the time we transported the sea kayaks... I might hesitate a little. It was that tough (laughs). Definitely something to consider if two girls are signing up together!!!!

We participated as a couple. Unfortunately, it was a cloudy day with some wind, which made it a bit chilly, but we were healed by the beautiful colors of the sea and sky in Kailua. The distance we kayaked was just right for beginners and was enjoyable. The pizza we had for lunch was delicious. The staff were all very good at Japanese, making it a great recommendation for beginners.

It was absolutely wonderful! However, the seawater in late November was cold, and without a wetsuit, it seemed like you couldn't stay underwater for more than 30 minutes while snorkeling. I was fine since I was kayaking. It became a fun memory. Thank you!

The sea in Kailua was surprisingly beautiful and soothing. It was our first time kayaking, but the staff kindly guided us, and we were able to paddle safely to a deserted island. On the island, we saw baby seabirds and learned many interesting stories about Hawaiian legends and goddesses. During our free time, we also tried bodyboarding for the first time, and the waves were just right, so both my husband and I got hooked on it.

I participated in a company trip with four guys, and the kayaking experience in the best beaches and ocean of Hawaii became the highlight of this trip. The weather was great that day, and the waves were calm, so we made good progress. After arriving at the island and receiving explanations about its historical background, the four of us got excited and enjoyed kayaking with the instructor. Since we had to paddle against the waves to reach the surfing point, teamwork was essential, and it took quite a bit of physical effort. We capsized several times, but when we caught a wave, it felt amazing!

Afterward, we were really tired, but it was a good kind of fatigue, like all the built-up stress in our bodies was released, leaving us with a sense of accomplishment and euphoria. If you're going to Hawaii, shopping and dining are great, but the ocean is definitely the main attraction! Next time I go to Hawaii, I’ll participate again with my wife.

社員旅行でおじさん４人で参加しましたが、ハワイの最高のビーチと海でのカヤック体験は今回の旅で１番の思い出になりました。当日は天候もよく波も穏やかであったため、割とスイスイと進みました。島に到着、いろいろ歴史的背景について説明を受けた後、我々４人はテンション上がりインストラクターとカヤックサーフィンを楽しみました。波乗りポイントまでは波に逆らって進むので、チームワーク必要でしたし、結構体力使いました。何度も転覆しましたが、波に乗れたときはサイコーの気分でした＾０＾/

I chose a guided tour.
First, we went snorkeling at Kailua Beach, but the waves were quite high, making it tough to swim without fins. It was also surprisingly deep.

After that, we enjoyed a delicious pizza the size of a face, and then kayaked to Flat Island. The transfer from the shop seemed challenging for just the girls, but once we got to the sea, we paddled hard following the guide. It really takes a lot of stamina.
The guide at Flat Island was also very good. I definitely recommend going with a guide.

Lastly, please remember that for this tour, you will need to change out of your swimsuit on the way back, so don't forget to bring a change of clothes.

I think the sea is very clear and beautiful. I joined this tour because I wanted my daughter to see this sea. This is my second time on this tour. Last time, I went all the way to Lanikai. My daughter, who is with me this time, is kayaking for the first time. I didn't think paddling was that difficult, but we made it to Flat Island. I highly recommend the optional pancakes with plenty of macadamia nut sauce from Boots & Kimo's. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see any sea turtles. Thank you to all the staff for your help. I can hardly speak English, but I didn't have any trouble at all. I had a great time, thank you.

We participated in a deserted island tour at Kailua Beach with our family.

I had many concerns about whether my parents in their 60s could handle a tandem kayak, but the distance was just right... It turned out to be great exercise and satisfied our curiosity, resulting in a wonderful experience. For those who feel that just sightseeing or spending time on the beach isn't enough, I think this tour is perfect.

Our guide, Chris, was very kind and shared Hawaiian folklore and stories about nature during the deserted island tour. I fell even more in love with Hawaii.

In addition to the tour, you can also rent snorkeling gear and stand-up paddleboarding equipment, making it highly recommended for those who want to fully enjoy Lanikai and Kailua Beach.

There is a Japanese guide available, so it's reassuring to have someone who speaks Japanese. It would have been better if the shuttle bus driver spoke Japanese as well.

The operation of the kayak and paddling is manageable. However, we practiced on the river before moving to the sea, and you need strength to carry or pull the kayak. If you're a woman alone, it can be quite challenging.

Once you start paddling out to sea, it surprisingly moves along well. The sea is beautiful, and the view is fantastic. However, it's advisable to use sunscreen properly, as you can get quite sunburned.

I wanted to do kayaking and my wife wanted us to do that in a two-man boat, which was fine with me. But then she chickened out at the last second and I had to kayak a two-man boat by myself. It was hard and embarassing and the situation sucked.

Despite that, I had a great time. My guide was very understanding of the situation and helped me along the whole way. My group kayaked to a small island a quarter-mile out to sea and he gave us a small tour. Interesting stuff.

When we came back, the manager gave us a partial refund on my wife's payment because she was in the boat for less than five minutes.

It was a good time. If you go to this place, ask for either Matt or Mark (can't remember). He's an orange-haired dude who wears a Gilligan hat.

I chose to go to the Waimea Falls and Botanical Garden and on the Kayak ride...also got to lay around on Waimea Beach and jump off the rock! I had a total blast. The driver/guide was knowledgable and friendly and made sure we all had a great time. I would recommend this to anyone.

I previously went to Kailua by bus, and with the waiting time and transfers, it took about two hours from Waikiki. The tour shuttle bus arrived in about 30 minutes from the hotel, which I thought was a significant advantage for making effective use of time.

It was a guided kayak tour, so I had to go on my own after watching a video, but I couldn't remember everything perfectly since I needed to pay attention to both the visuals and subtitles. However, when I later asked the staff about things I didn't understand, they kindly explained everything, which made me feel at ease before setting off.

Carrying the kayak to the water was quite challenging for two women and took some time, but we managed. The launch site for kayaking was designated, and the staff helped us out.

We kayaked to the nearest uninhabited island, landed, and surprisingly stayed longer than expected because there were birds and great views. We even encountered a turtle along the way, and we completed the round trip to the uninhabited island without capsizing. For lunch, we could choose from several places, and I picked pizza, which I heard was popular among locals, and it was a satisfying meal.

After that, I really wanted to go to Lanikai Beach, so I rented a bike for $10 and got there in less than an hour, hurriedly took some photos, and dipped my feet in the ocean before heading back. The cycling route was fantastic, allowing me to enjoy the sea and greenery.

Although I didn't use them, I was pleased that snorkeling gear and mats were available for free, and bike rentals were half price. Overall, it was a tour that my friends and I were very satisfied with.

その後、どうしてもラニカイビーチに行きたかったので、10ドルで自転車を借り、1時間足らずで行ってあわただしく写真撮って少し海につかって帰ってきました。サイクリングコースも海や緑を感じられて最高でした。
使う機会はありませんでしたが、シュノーケルやゴザなど無料で借りられるのはうれしく、レンタサイクルも半額でした。
友達ともども大満足のツアーでした。

It was a memorable sea-kayaking trip. Just be aware of one small detail: the bathroom/restroom facility is suitable only for temporary bath & cloth change. Very much likely you have to come back for a real full bath at your hotel. Aside from this, every else (which counts towards 99% of the trip) is great !!

It had been years since I played at the beach, so I was initially anxious, but thanks to our guides Mark and Yasu, I had a wonderful experience (even though I got really sunburned…). Thank you!

After arriving in Kailua, I felt like we wasted over an hour waiting for the kayak after the briefing. There wasn't enough time to visit Kailua Town, and since we had to meet at 11:30 but the pizza place opened at 11, I had to settle for a mediocre loco moco... (After kayaking, we changed and left right away, so there was no time for lunch.)

However, the content, scenery, and staff were all excellent, so next time I want to choose a course where we can take our time. Mark mentioned he would email photos to those who wanted them, so I'm looking forward to that.

海で遊ぶのは何年ぶり（？）だったので初めは不安でしたが、ガイドのマーク、ヤスさんのおかげで楽しい体験ができました。(ものすごく焼けましたが…)ありがとう！
カイルア到着後、説明を受けてからカヤックに乗るまでの間が１時間以上あって時間がもったいない気がしました。カイルアタウンに行くには時間が足りないし、１１時半集合なのにピザ屋さんは１１時OPENのためあきらめていまいちなロコモコを食べざるを得なかったり…（カヤックに乗った後は着替えてすぐ出発だったのでお昼を食べる時間はありません。）
でも内容、景色、スタッフは最高なので、次回はもっとゆっくりできるコースを選びたいと思います。
希望者にはマークさんが写真をメールで送ってくれるといっていたので楽しみに待っています。

I had been to Kailua before, but I chose this tour because I wanted to try sea kayaking.

First, there was someone who was late for the pickup time (they were a foreigner...), so we seemed to arrive a bit late and started in quite a rush. (There was no time even to go to the restroom...)

This tour seems to be affected by the wind on the day, but fortunately, it wasn't too windy, and it took about 25 minutes to reach the island 1 kilometer away. (According to the instructor, it was a great performance.) I don't have great athletic skills, so I was a bit anxious, but surprisingly, I was okay.

Paddling together was fun, and it ended so quickly that I wished we could have paddled a bit more. The weather was nice, and we could even see Molokai Island.

During the free time after lunch, I borrowed a bodyboard and headed to the beach. I heard from the instructor that Kailua is beautiful in the afternoon, and the sea was truly a stunning blue.

I highly recommend it.
