This was an awesome tour. The driver was local and gave lots of information about the area...what it used to be and what it is now. Many changes in 45 years. There was plenty of free time to explore. That was the best!

The "Surf Bus" Rocked my world, got timed out and lost my heartfelt compliments. I can't rewrite my praises. It does not do justice. Going to try:
Sam was an amazing guide, the playing, eating, and listening on the North Shore, my taste of heaven. Just visualize; Sea Turtles, tidal pools and an eye to eye with an Eagle Ray, food to die for, and 1000 reasons to keep coming back. An awesome "build your own burger". Surprise yourself and go for it! Not a sit and stare tour, unless your waiting for a set, or focused on sea turtles. You still get to do your driving. Came back exhausted and completed. 50 years in and now I figure out happy. Better late than never.
Mesmerized by the bright smiles, and sense of community that emerged as we talked through our day. 20 people, 5 countries and a bevy of dialects. It was right Kraky, but no worries mate.
@Sam, the Tiki was truly over that rainbow.

The ocean in Kailua is incredibly blue, and it was a 64-year-old grandma who set out kayaking alone. Her friends were 65 and 55 years old, and we could do anything! Snorkeling in the coral reefs of Lanikai—landing on a deserted island!!! We were completely satisfied!!! The three grandma kayakers were eager to challenge themselves again the next day. It was a joyful time in Oahu, absolutely fantastic!!!

I participated without a guide, but the staff were very helpful, offering assistance and support, which was great. We landed on Flat Island, and while I saw groups with guides who provided detailed explanations about the island and how to get around, I thought, "Maybe I should have gone with a guide," but I was satisfied because we could take our time at our own pace.

Since the tour has a short duration, I would like to take my time on the next visit. We wrapped up kayaking early and enjoyed some pizza recommended by the staff (it was really delicious!) while snorkeling. We quickly spotted a sea turtle! That was probably the best memory.

The ocean was very beautiful, unlike Waikiki Beach, and the population density was still low (maybe because it was a weekday?), which really felt like the essence of a Hawaiian beach! I think it's perfect for enjoying kayaking, swimming, and snorkeling little by little.

ガイドをつけずに自力での参加でしたが、スタッフの方が声をかけてくださったり、助けてくださったりして、助かりました。フラットアイランドへ上陸しましたが、島の案内や回り方などを丁寧に説明していただいているガイド付きの方たちを見ていると、「つけた方が良かったかな＾＾」と思いましたが、自分たちのペースでゆっくりとやれたので満足しています。
このツアーは滞在時間が短いので、次はもっとゆっくり行きたいと思います。
カヤックは早々に切り上げ、スタッフお勧めのピザを齧りながら（本当においしかった！）シュノーリングをしました。すぐにウミガメを発見！これが一番の思い出かな。
海はワイキキビーチと違い、とても綺麗で人口密度もまだ少なく（平日だったから？）、これぞハワイのビーチ！という感じでした。
カヤック、遊泳、シュノーケリングを少しずつ楽しむには最高だと思います。

Best way to visit the North Shore Area. There is so much to do on this tour I only wished it had lasted longer. We snorkeled at sharks cove where we saw beautiful fish and sea turtles, swam under a waterfall at Waimea Valley, visited sunset beach and turtle beach. We then hung out and ate in Haleiwa town. There are different options to choose from depending on your package. We missed Waimea bay - could not fit into schedule. Maybe next time. Highly recommend if you are NOT renting a car.

The guide was very kind, and I had a great time. It’s a round trip to Flat Island, but even beginners can participate with confidence. You can spend time by the beach until the bus back to Waikiki departs. I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful sea.

I went to Flat Island with my daughter on a two-person kayak. At Flat Island, we were able to see seabird eggs, which was a wonderful experience. The sea was very beautiful, and it's a place I would like to visit again. Carrying the kayak to the sea was a bit tough, but the refreshing feeling afterward was exceptional. At the pizza place for lunch, little birds came by, and we had a great time.

Even as a first-timer, I was able to participate without any anxiety because the staff taught us patiently. I was also impressed by the beauty of the ocean! However, it seems that the weather conditions were unusually good recently, so I felt a bit underwhelmed as we reached the uninhabited island without much difficulty. For those with kayaking experience, it might be more enjoyable to just rent a kayak and move around freely.

Also, the pizza recommended by the guide for lunch was delicious.

海のきれいさにも感動！
ただ、ここ最近では珍しいほど天候の条件が良かったらしく、特に苦労せず無人島まで辿り着けたので多少物足りなさを感じました。
カヤック経験者の方は、カヤックのみ借りて自由に動き回った方が面白いかも知れません。

あと、ランチに食べたガイドさんオススメのピザがうまかったです。

It was my first experience with kayaking, so I was worried it might be difficult to reach the uninhabited island, but it was no problem at all! Before getting into the kayak, we had a briefing on how to paddle, and even after we hit the water, our guide provided us with advice.

Due to my lack of exercise lately, my arms got a little tired (^ｰ^;), but the amazing views from the kayak made me forget all about that!!! On the uninhabited island, you can also snorkel if you wish. Next time, I want to challenge myself to a longer distance.

For the morning tour, we transported the kayaks from the shop to the beach, but since there was a cart, it was easy. Moving it from the cart to the sandy beach was a bit challenging (though it was just a short distance).

カヤック初体験だったので、無人島まで行くのは大変じゃないかな？と心配しましたが、まったく問題ありませんでした!カヤックに乗りこむ前に漕ぎ方のレクチャーがあり、海に出てからもガイドさんがアドバイスしてくれます。
日頃の運動不足のせいで、腕が少し疲れましたが(^ｰ^;)、カヤックから望む素晴らしい景色でそんなものは吹っ飛んでしまいます!!!

This was my first experience with sea kayaking, and it was a lot of fun. At one point, I lost my balance and capsized, but our guide, Jordan, helped me get back on track quickly, and I was able to enjoy myself. The view on the uninhabited island was so beautiful that I wished I had brought my camera (they lend you waterproof bags). I definitely plan to bring it next time. Kailua Beach is really pleasant, and during the free time in the first half of the tour, it might be nice to lay out a rental mat and just relax. By the way, the teriyaki chicken in the lunch plate was also delicious.

今回シーカヤック初挑戦でしたが、大変楽しかったです。途中、バランスを崩して横転してしまいましたが、ガイドのジョーダン君にすぐに立て直してもらい、楽しく過ごせました。無人島では景色が良かったのでカメラを持ってくれば良かったと思いました(防水の荷物入れを貸してくれます)。次回は必ず持っていこうと思います。カイルアのビーチは本当に気持ちよく、ツアー前半の自由時間はレンタルのゴザを敷いてぼーっとするのも気持ち良いかもしれません。余談ですが、お昼のプレートランチのテリヤキチキンも美味しかったです。

The weather was great, and it became a wonderful memory.
Pulling the kayak from the shop to the sea might be tough for girls, but it's all part of the experience♪
The sea was even more beautiful than I imagined.
I was able to see sea turtles twice while kayaking (*^^*)
The snorkeling wasn't that great, but I was happy to have a choice for lunch. It was delicious.
Since we had some time, we went cycling around the town after lunch.
The timing was just right, and it was a great tour.

My wife and I participated together. The guide was very skilled in Japanese and was very considerate. However, it was disappointing that we had to carry the kayak from the shop to the beach (about 10 minutes), which was quite tiring.

Harry is the man!

Had a great time. We go to Hawaii once a year, and have gone on almost every tour. The best thing about this was the tremendous flexibility to do and swap activities. Not a "tourist" tour. Little fubar on scheduling, but the drive Harry made up for that. Time with Harry was as good or better than seeing the falls!!

In my case, during winter, I usually enjoy water activities in places like Cebu, so honestly, this tour was disappointing.

The snorkeling was not enjoyable due to strong waves and the beach wasn't very clean, so I didn't feel like doing it...

The sea kayaking to the uninhabited island was also a complete letdown; the ocean was not what I expected, and during this time of year, Oahu is cold, making water activities entirely disappointing.

We participated as a couple in our mid-50s. Unfortunately, it was windy and rainy, but we made it to the Twin Islands via Flat Island.

Since it was a self-guided plan, I initially struggled with how to paddle, but once I got the hang of it, I managed to move forward.

Even in the reef, the wind was strong, creating waves, and especially when leaving the Twin Islands, I had to time my paddling with the waves to avoid getting tossed around, which was a bit challenging.

The distance to the Twin Islands is about 3 km one way, but we were able to make the round trip in about two and a half hours, which surprised the staff.

However, it was quite cold due to the rain and wind, so we couldn't relax much even after landing on the island. We also couldn't go snorkeling.

It was quite tough, but it was a valuable experience that you can't easily have while in Japan. Reaching the Twin Islands gives you a sense of accomplishment.

Canoeing wasn't difficult even for an amateur like me at my age. Plus, wearing a life jacket made it safe.

What I regret is not being able to relax and snorkel in the beautiful sea or explore the Twin Islands. I would like to try again when the weather is better.

フラット島経由で双子の島まで行ってきました。

ガイド無しプランだったため
最初はどのように漕いだらよいか悩みましたが、なれれば何とか前へ進むものです。

リーフの中でも風が強いと波があり、特に双子の島からの離岸は波の引くタイミングを見計らって漕ぎ出さないと波にもまれる可能性がありちょっと大変でした。

双子の島までは片道3kmほど有りますが2時間半ほどで往復できスタッフの方もビックリされていました。

でも、本当は雨と風でじっとしていると寒くて島に上陸してもユックリしていられなかったのです。
シュノーケリングも出来ませんでした。

結構大変でしたが、日本にいるとなかなか出来ない貴重な体験が出来ました。
双子の島まで行くと達成感がありますよ。

私のような年齢の素人でもカヌーは難しくありませんでした。
また救命胴衣を付けているので危険もありません。

心残りはきれいな海でユックリとシュノーケリングと双子の島の散策が出来なかったこと。
天候が良い時期になら再チャレンジしてみたいです。

Transporting the sea kayak to the ocean might be a bit challenging... It feels tough with just two girls. It might be better to go with guys.

Once you're out on the sea, it's incredibly refreshing, and landing on a deserted island for a walk is fun. The beauty of the ocean is exceptional!!

When I can properly ride the sea kayak, I felt like I could drift on the waves for hours ❤️

As for whether I would do it again... Thinking back to the time we transported the sea kayaks... I might hesitate a little. It was that tough (laughs). Definitely something to consider if two girls are signing up together!!!!

We participated as a couple. Unfortunately, it was a cloudy day with some wind, which made it a bit chilly, but we were healed by the beautiful colors of the sea and sky in Kailua. The distance we kayaked was just right for beginners and was enjoyable. The pizza we had for lunch was delicious. The staff were all very good at Japanese, making it a great recommendation for beginners.

Since I went to the farther uninhabited island, I was cutting it close on the way back. Along the way, I spotted sea turtles twice, and although I got tired, it was a very enjoyable activity.

It was absolutely wonderful! However, the seawater in late November was cold, and without a wetsuit, it seemed like you couldn't stay underwater for more than 30 minutes while snorkeling. I was fine since I was kayaking. It became a fun memory. Thank you!

The sea in Kailua was surprisingly beautiful and soothing. It was our first time kayaking, but the staff kindly guided us, and we were able to paddle safely to a deserted island. On the island, we saw baby seabirds and learned many interesting stories about Hawaiian legends and goddesses. During our free time, we also tried bodyboarding for the first time, and the waves were just right, so both my husband and I got hooked on it.

空いた時間で、ボディボードにも初挑戦でしたが、波がちょうどよく、主人と二人ハマってしまいました。

I participated in a company trip with four guys, and the kayaking experience in the best beaches and ocean of Hawaii became the highlight of this trip. The weather was great that day, and the waves were calm, so we made good progress. After arriving at the island and receiving explanations about its historical background, the four of us got excited and enjoyed kayaking with the instructor. Since we had to paddle against the waves to reach the surfing point, teamwork was essential, and it took quite a bit of physical effort. We capsized several times, but when we caught a wave, it felt amazing!

Afterward, we were really tired, but it was a good kind of fatigue, like all the built-up stress in our bodies was released, leaving us with a sense of accomplishment and euphoria. If you're going to Hawaii, shopping and dining are great, but the ocean is definitely the main attraction! Next time I go to Hawaii, I’ll participate again with my wife.

社員旅行でおじさん４人で参加しましたが、ハワイの最高のビーチと海でのカヤック体験は今回の旅で１番の思い出になりました。当日は天候もよく波も穏やかであったため、割とスイスイと進みました。島に到着、いろいろ歴史的背景について説明を受けた後、我々４人はテンション上がりインストラクターとカヤックサーフィンを楽しみました。波乗りポイントまでは波に逆らって進むので、チームワーク必要でしたし、結構体力使いました。何度も転覆しましたが、波に乗れたときはサイコーの気分でした＾０＾/
終わった後はとれも疲れましたが、いい疲労感というか、体の中の溜まった澱みたいなものが全部はき出した感じで、達成感と浮遊感でいっぱいでした。
ハワイいくなら、買い物や食事もいいけど、やっぱり海ですよね~。次回ハワイ行くときは、奥さんとまた参加します。

I chose a guided tour.
First, we went snorkeling at Kailua Beach, but the waves were quite high, making it tough to swim without fins. It was also surprisingly deep.

After that, we enjoyed a delicious pizza the size of a face, and then kayaked to Flat Island. The transfer from the shop seemed challenging for just the girls, but once we got to the sea, we paddled hard following the guide. It really takes a lot of stamina.
The guide at Flat Island was also very good. I definitely recommend going with a guide.

Lastly, please remember that for this tour, you will need to change out of your swimsuit on the way back, so don't forget to bring a change of clothes.

なかなか波が高めでフィン無しで泳ぐのはつらかったです。
そして案外深いです。

その後一枚が顔の大きさの美味しいピザを頂き、カヤックでフラット島へ。
お店からの移動は女子のみでは大変そうでしたが、
海についてからガイドさんに続いてひたすら漕ぎました。
結構体力使います。
フラット島でのガイドもとても良かったです。
絶対にガイド付きをおすすめします。

最後に、こちらのツアーは帰りに水着から着替えが必要ですので
着替えをお忘れなく。

I think the sea is very clear and beautiful. I joined this tour because I wanted my daughter to see this sea. This is my second time on this tour. Last time, I went all the way to Lanikai. My daughter, who is with me this time, is kayaking for the first time. I didn't think paddling was that difficult, but we made it to Flat Island. I highly recommend the optional pancakes with plenty of macadamia nut sauce from Boots & Kimo's. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see any sea turtles. Thank you to all the staff for your help. I can hardly speak English, but I didn't have any trouble at all. I had a great time, thank you.

この海を娘に見せたくてこのツアーに参加しました。
私はこのツアー２回目です。
前回はラニカイまでいってみました。
今回同行の娘は初カヤックです。
漕いでいくことはそれほど大変と思いませんでしたが、フラットアイランド上陸までにしました。
オプションのブーツ＆キモズのマカデミアナッツソースたっぷりのパンケーキはおすすめです。
残念ですがウミガメさんにはお会いできませんでした。　
スタッフのみなさんお世話になりました。
私は英語ほとんどできませんが、ぜんぜん困りませんでした。
