I hesitated to participate because I'm not very comfortable with heights, but in the end, I'm glad I did it.

At first, I was anxious after signing a contract stating, "I will not sue no matter what happens," but thanks to the friendly and reliable instructor, by the time we were diving, my expectations outweighed my fears.

When falling from 14,000 feet, the wind pressure is so intense that I couldn't even close my mouth, but once the parachute opened, I was simply amazed by the breathtaking views below. The instructor showed us the scenery from different angles, explaining it in simple English like a tour guide. It was the best sky adventure.

I was really torn about whether to order the photos because they were expensive, but I'm glad I did. They took many pictures, and being able to look at them later allowed me to enjoy the experience even more after the trip. It became my favorite memory from Hawaii.

For those who are hesitating, you absolutely should do it!!

I was opposed by my family and looked at strangely by my colleagues, wondering, "Am I weird?" but I followed my heart that said, "I want to fly!" and went for it. In the end, I am filled with the feeling that it was great to fly. For me, the joy and satisfaction come even stronger after returning home than right after the jump. During free fall, the strong wind and noise make it hard to enjoy the scenery, but once the parachute opens, I was able to leisurely enjoy the beautiful sea and mountains of Hawaii. Watching others descend while waiting below is also impressive. It was quite cold between the plane and free fall, especially in winter! (Someone who participated with me said, "You seem calm. I didn't feel anything because I was so nervous.") If you're sensitive to the cold, I recommend wearing a long-sleeved, slightly thicker shirt. Also, the impact upon landing is stronger than expected, so those with knee issues should be careful. Some people enjoyed landing on their bottoms, but their pants ended up quite wet and dirty. I participated on the last day of my stay in Hawaii, during a winter when the weather can change quickly, but fortunately, the rain that fell in the morning stopped, and it turned into a beautiful day (actually, that afternoon, there was a storm-like rain, and everything was canceled). I tried skydiving for the first time! I’m not great with heights, but it was more fun than I expected, and the rainbow I saw from 4,000 meters up was absolutely beautiful.

The weather was unstable, so we had some delays in jumping that day, but ultimately, I was able to enjoy the amazing views in clear skies. Depending on the instructor, some can be quite enthusiastic, and after opening the parachute, they might spin around a bit too much, which can make you feel a little queasy. It was a trip with three friends for four days (actually three days). One of the memories from that trip was booking a skydiving experience at Pacific Skydiving Center two days before the trip after a big decision. I was full of anxiety, but the day itself was incredibly fulfilling and satisfying!!

Mr. KOMIYA, who provided our transportation, was the best staff member we encountered during our trip and someone we will never forget. He felt like a father figure in Hawaii. Surrounded by staff who were unique and helped ease our tension during the skydiving experience, it was definitely a tour we will come back to next time we visit Hawaii.

We've never been on a glider ride before, and we are so glad that we did. It's crazy to fly without an engine and a propeller! We were a little scared first, but once we were up in the air, we enjoyed the breathtaking views of Mokuleia, Yokohama Bay, North Shore Coastline, etc... During a family trip, I participated alone on April 2nd. My family (husband, mother-in-law, and son) joined a private tour on-site and explored from start to finish. After finishing diving around 10 AM, I was able to join my family for a private tour around Oahu.

It was my first time, and when I initially signed the waiver, I thought, "Should I back out...?" But I'm glad I took the plunge. As the plane ascended, we broke through the clouds, and I felt like saying, "Are we still going up?" However, from the dive point, there was no hesitation as we jumped one after another. Thanks to our instructor, Mike, I was able to enjoy the thrill of skydiving while feeling secure. Once the parachute opened, we descended slowly and leisurely. The coastline on the north side of Oahu was beautifully visible, and I was amazed to see my feet floating at such a high altitude, adding to the thrill.

After landing, I high-fived Mike! It was a truly precious and wonderful experience. Next time I go to Hawaii, I will definitely participate again. Thank you, Mike and all the staff!

着地後は、マイクさんとハイタッチ！とても貴重で素晴らしい体験ができました。次回ハワイへ行ったら必ず参加します。

After arriving at the dive point, before I could even say "I'm scared" or "Wait," I was already falling one after another. I was the last one, but after counting to one, two, I found myself screaming "Yay!" while in the air, lol.

雲の上からのダイブとなると高すぎて落ちる実感沸かないし、

My mother insisted on signing up for something she absolutely wanted to do! My father and I (both university students) were like, "What?!" This is my third time in Hawaii. Every time I go, my mother challenges herself with various activities! Climbing to the top of Diamond Head, stargazing on the Big Island at night, scuba diving, horseback riding, bodyboarding... and so on (laughs). The highlight was definitely skydiving! It's a must-do! This time, my husband and I experienced skydiving for the first time. The moment we jumped out of the plane was so quick that I didn't have time to feel scared; I was dropped on a count of one, two, three, so I didn't feel that much fear. The weather was nice, and the view was really beautiful.

However, while falling, the wind was strong, making it hard to breathe. Additionally, when the instructor asked me, "Do you like roller coasters?" and I answered, "Yes!" I was spun around to the right and left, which made me feel a bit nauseous. There were also others doing aerial spins.

Since my son's wedding is in Hawaii, I took the opportunity to challenge myself to skydiving, which I've always wanted to do, as a celebration of my upcoming 60th birthday in March. I participated with excitement and felt no fear at all; jumping from 4,500 feet was nothing. The blue sky I flew through with the instructor was amazing. Surrounded by the blue sky and blue ocean, it was a very happy experience of walking in the air.

If you're hesitating about whether to try skydiving, I definitely recommend taking the plunge. You'll experience a feeling that only those who have jumped can understand! Even now, when I close my eyes, I can feel myself flying in the sky. I'm really glad I challenged myself to skydiving! It was so much fun!!

When I was in elementary school, I saw skydiving on TV and thought I wanted to try it at least once, so I was really looking forward to it. When I told my friends, they said, "Eww, scary!" but my curiosity was stronger than my fear, and I was excited to find out what it would be like.

When I actually jumped, I was surprised by how strong the wind pressure was during free fall. The wind was so intense that it felt like it was sucking in my cheeks, making it hard to breathe, but it felt amazing. The cameraman was flying opposite me, and I wanted to pose for the camera, but I didn’t have the energy for that at all. They took about 100 pictures in total, and even though I hesitated because it was expensive, I’m glad I chose the photo package.

Once the parachute opened, it felt like I was floating down slowly, and I was able to enjoy the view from above. When I landed, my legs were shaking, but I was really glad I did it. They say it can change your perspective on life, and I felt like I could do anything.

カメラマンが向いで飛んでくれるのでカメラに向かってポーズとりたいのにそんな余裕全然ありませんでした。
トータルで100枚くらいとってくれたし、高いから迷ったけど写真つきにしてよかったです。
パラシュートが開いてからはふ~わふ~わとゆっくり降りてくる感じで上空からの景色も堪能できました。
地上に着いたときは足がガクガクでしたが飛んでホントに良かったです。
人生観が変わるって言うけど、なんだか何でも出来るような気持ちになりました。

I participated in skydiving for the first time before turning 50. I had always struggled with amusement park roller coasters and free falls, which made me feel sick, but after seeing the Pacific Skydiving Center's website, I was drawn in and decided to sign up. My experience was incredibly refreshing; it had been a long time since I felt that way. By the time I was ascending in the airplane, all fear had completely vanished. I could even feel that the Earth is round. There were Japanese staff members, which made me feel at ease. Although I thought the price was a bit high, I opted for the video and camera services. I definitely recommend getting those; it was great to see how I flew. I was so thrilled that I signed up on the spot to jump a second time. For anyone hesitating, I absolutely think you should give it a try!

50歳前ではじめてのスカイダイビングに参加しました。もともと、遊園地のジェットコースーターやフリーフォールは気分が悪くなってしまい苦手でしたが、パシフィックスカイダイビングセンターのホームページを見てひかれるものがあり申し込みました。やった感想は、こんなにすがすがしい気分になれたのは本当に久しぶりでした。飛行機で上空にあがっていく時点で恐怖なんてまったくなくなってしまい、約１分間のフリーホールの間に雲の中を突き抜けていくときは神聖なものを感じました。パラシュートが開いてからは美しいハワイの景色が堪能できます。地球が丸いっていうのも感じることができました。スタッフの方も日本人がいて安心できます。また、値段がちょっと高いなぁと思いましたが、ビデオとカメラをたのみました。これは絶対に頼んだほうがいいと思います。自分がどんな風に飛んだのかが良くわかりとてもよくできていました。私はあまりの楽しさにその場で申し込んで2回飛びました。迷っている方は絶対にチャレンジしたらいいと思います。

I participated on September 27. It was my first time in Hawaii for my honeymoon, and before leaving Japan, when I told everyone I was going skydiving, they all said, "Why would you do something like that, which feels like a punishment game, on your honeymoon?" But... it was definitely the right choice!!! It was incredibly fun!!

I had an amazing experience that I wouldn't trade for anything else! The indescribable tension at the moment of freefall and the feeling of breaking through the clouds was just so moving! I definitely want to recommend it to everyone.

I participated with my younger sister. At first, I thought skydiving was scary and outrageous! However, since my sister insisted on doing it together, I reluctantly joined.

当初私はスカイダイビングなんて、怖いし、とんでもない！と思いましたが、妹がどうしても付き合ってくれと言うので、仕方なく参加したのです。

かなり上空まで上がり、一組一組…と順番に飛び降りて行き、自分も躊躇する間もなく飛び降りました。パラシュートが開くまでの間、ものすごいスピードで落ちて行き、とても寒く、呼吸も出来ないくらいで（鼻ではなく、口で細く横に開けて呼吸すると良い）、いつまで落ちるものかと怖かったのですが、バラシュートが開いてからは、とても気持ちが良かったです。
丁度とても天気が良く、空から見る海などのあらゆる景色が鮮やかで、とても綺麗で素晴らしく、目に焼き付いています。
時間にしたら、短い時間だと思いますが、自分にとっては、時間が止まっていたかのような長い時間を過ごしたような気がします。
本当にエキサイティングで貴重な体験をしたと思います。
きっと忘れられない思い出になるでしょう。
勇気のある方は、是非やってみる価値はあると思いますよ！

I had been quite nervous for about a week, but once I actually flew, it was nothing at all! It was amazing. At the moment of takeoff, I was in such a high state that I wasn't scared at all.

Anyway, I got to see views I've never seen before and experience winds I've never felt. The ocean and mountains of Hawaii from above were truly beautiful.
