Great morning. Saw so much, the reef and the fish are gorgeous. The guides were chilled, relaxed and helpful. The only thing I'd suggest is that wetsuit tops be made available as it got quite cold by the time we'd been in the water a couple of hours

Fishing experience a must before going out

They don't teach out how to fish, they only supply hardware & bait. Did the night fishing, so its not like we had sunlight the whole time. I enjoyed myself, cause i know how to fish, but limited to where to go on the boat to fish.
They made food, not really, just cut up hot dogs & rice in a crock pot, set on simmer. I love to fish, but i don't like to eat it. However, i rather eat the fish i caught than to eat that mess hall type of food. In other words, not consider food to eat on a boat in the ocean. Almost as if to see who has a weak stomache on the waters.
Would i go back is the bottom line. Yes i would, i enjoy fishing. However bring your own food or wait till they cook the fishes caught, otherwise do not eat the food they supply. Bring beer!

The captain and deckhand were very friendly and knowledgable. Very easy going feeling. It was beautiful to see the sunset and the lights come on throughout the city. If you're looking to catch monster sized fish, this isn't for you, but we caught a lot of pretty and tasty fish that were grilled up on the ship and also got to take some home. A lot of fun all around and deliciously rewarding!

Good trip, lousy people

Captain Tiger was great. Unfortunately, the other travelers were not. Plenty of people complaining about the heat, or weren't satisfied that they hadn't caught anything after 2 mins on the water. Other people intentionally cut off the sinkers so they could fish on the surface, and some almost tangled up in the motor while we were driving because they were impatient. Still caught several fish myself though.

Captain Tiger knows what he's doing, and if you follow his lead you will catch plenty of fish. We had a good haul, catching at least 20-25 fish over the course of the trip. Cooked up the snapper we caught. Would definitely do it again.

We first used cards to determine the order, and the rule was to reel in fish in that order when we got a bite. However, after about four hours of running offshore, we ended up with no bites at all. The crew said, "This kind of day happens," but I felt like we wasted half a day of our trip to Hawaii, and the mental damage was significant.

This was exactly what we were hoping for. The captains were fantastic. At one point they moved the boat to a better location - always trying to provide a better experience. Cooking up the fish on the boat was a classy touch. This is a tour for inexperienced fisherman, however. If you want more of a challenge book their deep sea charter.

The crew was friendly and it was a nice big boat with clean restrooms. The guys seemed like they love what they do so that helped it be a very nice trip. They caught a 140lb tuna. It was fun :) there was plenty of shade for my kids to nap :)

I made a reservation based on my husband's only hope of going trolling. There were various options, but I chose this one because it was cheaper compared to others and had good reviews.

After participating, my impression is that knowing some English would have made it even more enjoyable. The crew members didn't speak Japanese, so they explained everything in fast-paced English. Fortunately, there was a considerate foreign participant who helped explain things clearly later on.

We needed to prepare our own drinks and food. I only brought one drink and a cereal bar, so I wished I had brought more.

There were five participants on our boat. First, we got on the boat and used cards to determine the order. When a fish bites, we reel it in according to that order. We set off and headed about an hour out to sea. The boat rocked quite a bit, so taking motion sickness medication is definitely recommended. While heading out, we did some bait fishing and caught two fish that seemed to be around 40 centimeters long. I was second in line, so I caught the second fish.

For the third catch, we hooked a marlin that was about 150 centimeters long. However, that was the end of it. My husband was fourth in line and didn't catch anything.

I don't expect to catch a big fish, but I wish they could ensure that all participants could catch something at least during the bait fishing. Spending nearly a whole day of our precious honeymoon on something uncertain for 28,000 yen... whether it's worth it varies from person to person, but I somehow enjoyed it, so I guess it was okay.

参加してみての感想は、まず英語が多少出来た方が更に楽しめただろうということ。乗組員の方は日本語なんて出来ないから、普通に早口の英語で説明されます。同乗した方の中に気を使ってくれる外国人の方がおられたので、後で分かりやすく説明してくれたので助かりました。
飲み物食べ物は各自で準備が必要でした。飲み物１本とシリアルバーしか持って行ってなかったので、もっと持っていけばよかったなと思いました。

今回私達の船には5人の参加者がいました。まず船にのりトランプを使って順番を決めます。竿に当たりがきたらその順番で釣り上げていくため。
出発してまず船で1時間程度沖に出ます。結構な揺れ加減なので酔い止めを飲んだ方が絶対にいーです。沖に出ながらベイト釣り。40センチぐらいのハマチらしき魚を2匹釣りました。私は順番が2番目だったので2匹目の魚を釣りました。
３匹目に150センチぐらいのカジキが釣れました。でも、それで終了。旦那は4番目だった為、何も釣り上げられず(^^;

大物を釣らせてとは言わないけれど、せめてベイト釣りで参加者全員が釣り上げられるようにしてくれたら、もっといーのになと思いました。
貴重なハネムーンの１日をほぼ使って、釣れるかどうかわからないことに28000円…する価値があるのかどーかは人それぞれだと思いますが、私は何だかんだ楽しめたので、まぁよかったかな(>_<)

We had a great time aboard the Sea Hawk, and the Captain and First Mater were very friendly. I would have given this adventure 5 stars, but we did not catch one fish. We had one strike about mid-way thru our half day charter, but that was it.

It was called Sashimi fishing, but no Sashimi. The wind was too strong when we went, so we got very seasicked. The staff was friendly, but one of the guy was flirting with my friend and even patted my friend's leg, and we don't like it.

This was a very good experience for the beginner. We all caught something and had a wonderful view of Wakiki shoreline and Diamond Head. The crew were very good and helpful when your line got broken/stuck. Well worth the money.

It was my first time in Hawaii. It was also my first time trying sport fishing. I was the only one participating in the tour, which made me quite anxious since I couldn't speak the language. On the day of the tour, we were supposed to meet before 6 AM. I thought I could walk from the hotel, but after only checking the map, I felt uneasy about going to a new place alone, so I was glad I arranged for a taxi in advance. The taxi arrived on time and took about 20 minutes to get there. Three young people were already there. I thought they were my companions, but they didn't seem very friendly, and it turned out they were there individually. A little late, a boy around sixth grade and his mother arrived. The weather was a bit cloudy, but I wasn't worried. I greeted them, but as expected, I couldn't understand much of what they said.

As we set off, we progressed into the dark dawn sea. It was more cold than refreshing, and my windbreaker came in handy. After about 20 minutes, the young captain began to slow down as he looked at the fish finder. I started to feel excited, thinking we were about to catch fish, but it turned out we were going to catch live bait. The members on board took turns catching fish that looked like mackerel, about 30 centimeters long. I think we caught around 30 fish. We were ready to go, and my excitement grew as we set off again toward our destination. The boat accelerated, and I thought we were quite far from the island, but after about an hour, the island was no longer visible. Moreover, the sea was quite rough, and the boat rocked significantly, which surprised me.

The boat was professional and exceeded my expectations with its impressive equipment. I had imagined fishing in such a boat, but unfortunately, we didn't encounter the target fish. In the end, we only caught one mahi-mahi. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of serious fishing on a cruiser. The catch or lack thereof is just a matter of luck. I was happy to have had this experience. Although there was a language barrier, the captain was considerate, and it turned out to be a memorable day.

　出発すると、どんどん真っ暗な夜明けの海を進んでいく。すがすがしいというよりは、寒い。ウインドブレーカーが役に立つ。２０分くらい走ったろうか、しきりに、キャプテンの青年が、魚探を眺めてスピードを落とし始めた。いよいよかとワクワクし始めたら、どうも生餌を釣るということらしく、乗ったメンバーが、順番に、３０センチくらいのサバのような魚を釣り上げることになった。３０匹くらいは、釣ったと思う。準備はできた。いよいよと思ってワクワク感は、募っていく。目指す場所に向かって、再度、出発。船は、どんどん加速され、けっこう、島から離れたなあと思っていたのだが、１時間くらい走り続けただろうか、もう、島は、見えなくなってしまっていた。おまけに、沖は、それなりに、しけていて、けっこう、上下に、大きく揺れ、こんなところまで来るのかと驚いた。
　　ボートは、本格的で、私のイメージをはるかに超え、立派な装備がされていたものだった。こういう船で、マリーンは、釣るのかと勝手に、想像を膨らませていたが、なかなか、お目当ての魚に出会うことは、残念ながらなかった。結局、釣果としては、シイラ１匹だけだった。
　　でも、クルーザーに乗っての本格的なフィッシングは、十分堪能できた。釣れるつれないは、時の運。このような体験をできたことが、楽しかった。言葉の壁は、なかったわけではないが、キャプテンも、気を使ってくれ、、思い出深い１日となった。

Had fun,for the price i paid. Was pick up late cause of paper mix up.But the Capined kept us out later to make up time which was cool. Im think everyone in are group caught at least one fish or more..will do again.

My boyfriend and I were visiting from Santa Barbara, CA and went on this fishing trip. It was really fun and we caught a ton of fish! The staff was really helpful and laid back. We would definitely go again! They even cooked the fish we caught on the ride back. Great experience.

This was our first charter fishing trip both of us had ever taken. It was an unforgettable one at that. Captain Tony and Kelly were excellent guides and shared so much knowledge about both fishing and Hawaii in general. Both Captain Tony and Kelly warned us typically spring time is when fishing is best and summer time is a bit slower,but sometimes the fish surprised them. We ended up catching a Mahi Mahi and another gentleman caught a small tuna. Both catches were very exciting! Captain Tony helped guide us as the fish was being reeled in and most importantly making sure we were safe. If we ever make it back to Hawaii we will most definitely go fishing with them again but make it a full day fishing trip. Even if we had not caught fish it was nice to sit back and relax out on the Pacific.

Great Father-Daughter Activity

I bought this tour for my husband and our daughter, who loves fishing. It was a great opportunity for them to spend time together doing an activity they used to do when she was younger. They had a great time, and, of course, she had proof that she caught a bigger fish than her dad! And I had an evening to myself to do a little shopping and relax!

I want to start off with a big thank you to Warren!! Very patience and helpful!! I have 2 young kids with me and he made sure I had assistance whenever I needed it. Got the Sunset fishing, they picked us up promptly from the hotel and about 20 minutes drive to the boat. Once on the boat it will take about an hour to get to the fishing spot. During that time they give you some instructions and serve you a rice plate that contains beans, hotdogs and pineapples. You get about 3 hrs of total fishing time at 3 different spots. A total of 5 hour trip. I would highly recommend this to anyone that enjoys fishing or just out in the ocean. My kids are 8 and 10 and had a lot of fun. If you have motion sickness make sure to take something beforehand, it can get a little choppy. I heard ginger works pretty well. Happy fishing!

Relaxed fishing

Great relaxing evening . Picked up on time and out on the water with 11 other people .as with most fishing charters everyone became friendly and the crew especially deck hand Keith were great my type of people . Views of the harbour were stunning. And as a bonus we caught 13 fish between my wife and myself .
This is not a luxury charter it's a working mans charter and good value for money where you don't want a full deep sea trip . I would do it again .
