The sandbar was beautiful even without the sand. It seems to depend on the weather, so it really is a matter of luck. The staff were very accommodating, and they took photos for us. The hamburgers grilled on the boat were delicious, and I enjoyed snorkeling for the first time without any worries. We scattered bread for the fish, so we got to see a lot of tropical fish, which made for a happy time.

July 1, 2019 - Raymond was the best guide ever! He's very chill and easy to communicate with. He was very accommodating! we choose the later tour which I expected it to be much worse than the earlier scheduled tour, however we ended up being extremely lucky and it ended up being just me and my girlfriend. We had our own private tour with the best guide they had to offer! I would recommend this trip to everyone, very family friendly but also a nice thing to do for couples. My girlfriend really wanted to see some Green sea turtles and Raymond was able to make it happen! Once he spotted one, he immediately alerted us to come view the turtles. Definitely something to put in your books if you plan on heading down to Oahu. One thing to keep in mind is ALWAYS WEAR SUNSCREEN...ITS ALWAYS worth it.

The site mentioned it was about 1.5 feet, but in reality, the depth where we got off the boat was 130 cm, and in shallow areas, it was around 80 cm. The weather was nice, so the scenery was beautiful!

We were able to see sea turtles about three times, and the kids were thrilled.

The snorkeling experience was as expected, but since it was our first time, I felt reassured by the staff's safety-first attitude.

For those who didn't participate in snorkeling, we had some playtime with the equipment, and thanks to the small number of kids, my child (5 years old, who can float but can't swim) was able to snorkel near the boat. One of the staff members spoke Japanese, and everyone was friendly, making it a fun experience.

I managed without marine shoes, but since Waikiki Beach has quite a few painful stones, I thought it would have been better to buy them for the entire stay in Hawaii.

スタッフの方は日本語ができる方が1名はおり、皆さんフレンドリーで楽しく過ごせました。

マリンシューズは無くても何とかなりましたが、ワイキキビーチも結構石が痛いのでハワイ滞在全体を通して買えば良かったと思いました。

Then we went snorkeling around the coral, and I got a bit exhausted, but I managed to swim. I got so caught up in the fun that I ended up with a sunburn. I participated because I wanted to see the honu. I was able to see the honu within 1 meter, and I also saw many beautiful fish up close, which was great for the kids as well. I think it was a good decision to join this tour, as I wouldn't have seen them without the guide. It was 32 degrees in June and sunny, but surprisingly the seawater was quite cold, and I felt chilly when I got out. Also, the distance between the seawater and the rocks was narrow, and I scraped my knees. I recommend that participants borrow a wetsuit. I was happy that Fumio took many photos of us while snorkeling, including pictures of the fish and honu. Since there is quite a bit of swimming involved, I recommend having breakfast before participating. It was a lot of fun.

It seems that a sandy beach forms in the middle of the sea due to the tides, but when I participated, the water was already up to my waist, so I couldn't walk on the beach.

I went snorkeling to see turtles and fish in deeper areas, but I gave up halfway. I was thinking, "Oh, I wanted to see them..." when the staff called a turtle over (was it their pet? lol), and I was able to swim with the turtle in shallower water! So, don't worry if you can't snorkel... it's not a big deal!

After that, we played on stand-up paddleboards and had a BBQ lunch on the boat! The food was really delicious!! The staff were bright and funny people! I wish I had given them a tip (;^_^A.

We participated as a family of three because we wanted to see the sandbar. Since two of us can't swim, we were looking for a tour that would be easy for non-swimmers to join, and we found this one.

The Angel Sea was very beautiful! Perhaps due to the timing, the sandbar wasn't visible, but the water's clarity was incredible! We learned how to use the snorkeling gear and had a fun experience in a safe area. We also got to see sea turtles from the boat and throw bread to the fish, which was a unique experience. The hamburger we had on the boat was delicious!

We had great experience snorkeling at Haunama Bay with Dan and Chieko. My husband and our 12 years old son never snorkel before. Chieko was very patience with them teaching them how to breath under water. Chieko hold our son’s hand all the time and talked to them very calmly. Eventually both of them got the hang of it and enjoyed their snorkeling experience.
I would highly recommend Dan and Chieko to anyone who wants to snorkel at Hanauma Bay. They’re simply the best!

I went snorkeling for the first time. To be honest, I'm not a good swimmer and I was scared of not being able to touch the ground, but since I came all the way to Hawaii, I thought I should give it a try at least once. The ocean was so beautiful, and it was a lot of fun swimming while looking at the underwater scenery. I didn't see any dolphins on the first try, and on the second try, I was too tired and just watched from the boat.

For lunch, they give you a hamburger, and you can add tomatoes, lettuce, ketchup, and mustard while sitting down, so you don't have to worry. The hamburgers and snacks were delicious, and the view was stunning—it was the best! Many people got seasick, so I strongly recommend taking motion sickness medication in advance if you're worried about that.

初めてシュノーケリングをしました。
実は泳ぐのが苦手で地に足が着かないのも怖くて嫌だったのですが、せっかくハワイに来たので1回くらい…と思って参加しました。
海がとても綺麗で、海の中を見ながら泳げてとても楽しかったです。
1回目ではイルカが見れず、2回目は体力がなくて船の上から見ました(^^;
お昼のハンバーガーは貰ってからトマトやレタス、ケチャップやマスタードをつけてくれるので座ってて大丈夫です。
ハンバーガーもスナックも美味しいし景色も綺麗で最高でした！
船酔いする方が多かったので、心配な方は事前に酔い止めを飲むのを強くオススメします。

The staff and guides were all kind, and they took wonderful photos for us. I was a bit anxious about when to give a tip, but they helped by indicating the right timing. I'm glad I went snorkeling.

I had a great time with my close friends at the beautiful sea, playing with sea turtles and enjoying snorkeling! The barbecue was incredibly delicious, and the staff were so much fun; it was the best! I was so happy to laugh so much on a magical carpet floating on the sea. I want to go again! Hawaii is amazing. This tour was awesome!

At first I thought this would not be enough time but we were able to spend as much or little time as needed on whatever we wanted to do. The crew were helpful in training us beginners on SUP. I recommend this for advanced or beginners of all ages.
