West Oahu Dolphin Watch & Snorkel Cruise with Lunch, Drinks & Transportation

Reviewed by: Sarah, 2018/10/23There is no better way to experience Hawaii, than out on its beautiful, indescribable blue waters. After doing a bit of research, I knew I wanted to go snorkeling on the west side of the island. I also snorkeled at Hanauma Bay, but there is zero comparison. Two completely different experiences. Sailing out of the harbor, on the beautiful catamaran, with the wind in your hair, onto the sparkling water, a stunning, panoramic view of the majestic mountains behind you, with three fabulous hours of yet unknown adventures ahead of you---well, what more can you ask for? Our time on this tour was great. It went by entirely too fast. But every minute was wonderful. We saw more dolphins than we could count. Had great visibility while snorkeling. Saw many different types of fish and marine life. All under the skillful supervision of the awesome crew. Also, the boat was not overly crowded, which was terrific. Plenty of room to move about and to have a good seat. The food and drinks were perfect. I just wish it was twice as long. And honestly, next time we go back, I will probably go more than once. It's simply the best way to experience the magic of Hawaii. PS. I booked through Hawaii Activities.com and I believe the company name is also Hawaii Nautical. No matter which you book it, it's completely worth it!

イルカとの初対面

シュノーケルも初体験だったので心配しましたが、すぐに慣れてとても楽しめました。
スタッフの方もとても気さくで楽しい方達で、終盤にはすっかりスタッフのお姉さんのファンに(笑)
日本に帰ってからも祖母へ感想を話しながら大興奮でした。
ツアーへのご参加ありがとうございました。とても楽しんでいただけたようでとても嬉しいです。是非また皆様で遊びに来てください。

ドルフィン＆ユー のツアーとても良かったです！
Reviewed by: Angel, 2018/10/16出航間もなく、青い海にみんなでお祈りを捧げているうちに、イルカたちが近くを泳ぎはじめました。
みんなでちょっと急いで海に入ると、イルカたちが泳いでいるのが見えましたー(^^)
シュノーケリングではウミガメやたくさんの魚たちも見ることができました。
連絡はすべて日本語で大丈夫。
当日はモーニングコールもあり、本当に親切です。
なんといってもクルーの皆さんが本当にフレンドリーで、ニコニコ。そして海ではしっかり安全を確認してくれています。
私は50代半ばですが、泳げないし、海はこわいし、船酔いも心配でしたが、ウェットスーツレンタルにライフジャケットなので、寒くないし沈みません！ 酔い止めをあらかじめ飲んでおいたらバスも船も大丈夫でした。
キラキラの青い海、フラダンス、ウクレレ演奏、船の上で食べるバーガーも美味しくて、ぎゅぎゅっと楽しさが詰まっていました。
海も船もこわくなくなりました！
スタッフの皆様本当にありがとうございました。
またハワイに行ったら参加したいです。
たくさんのみなさんに参加していただきたいツアーです！
海にも海の生き物にも人にも優しいドルフィン＆ユー最高です(^^)

Reviewed by: MIHO, 2018/09/13イルカを見るツアーというよりはオアフ島沖を船でピクニックするツアーで、そういう意味ではエンターテイメントもあり海に慣れていない人にとっては楽しいのではないでしょうか。
イルカは見れたらラッキーくらいのつもりでないとがっかりします。
ハワイ島のイルカツアーとは全く別物でした。
スタッフは楽しませようという会社のコンセプトにのっとってそれなりに業務されていましたが所々に個が出ていて幼稚だなぁと思いました。
貴重な書き込みありがとうございます。こちらの書き込みはスタッフとシェアさせていただきます。また、オアフ島ウエストサイドでは、イルカの遭遇率は95％ほどですが、毎日イルカの状況が違います。早く泳ぎ去ってしまうこともありますし、長い間回遊して遊んでいることもあり、泳げる時間に差が出てしまいますが、野生のイルカが相手なので、ご理解いただけると幸いです。

ドルフィンツアー
Reviewed by: R R R, 2018/08/17イルカはたくさんはみることができませんでしたが、スタッフの皆さんが明るく、楽しい方ばかりで楽しい時間が過ごせました。幼稚園の子供がシュノーケルを嫌がり船に残ろうとしましたが、スタッフのお姉さんが抱きかかえて海に連れて行ってくれました。シュノーケルはできなかったものの、波に揺られながら歌を歌って楽しませてくれて娘もとても楽しく過ごせました。家族全員を楽しませてくれようとしたスタッフさん達に感謝でいっぱいです。

野生のイルカを見れました！

そこから船でイルカのいる場所まで移動。最初の二回はイルカは見えず、会えるかどうか不安でしたが無事に水中を泳ぐ姿が見れました！
寝不足と疲労、それから水温が低かった為に最後の方は船酔いしてしまいましたが、貴重な体験ができて良かったです。
酔い止めは出来れば用意した方が良いと思います。
書き込みありがとうございます。イルカが見れてよかったです。またハワイにお越しの際は、遊びに来てください。時差ボケで船酔いする方もいらっしゃいますので、ドルフィンツアーへのご参加は、もしできましたら、2日目以降をおすすめします。

40人も！小さな船にぎゅうぎゅう詰め！

小さな船に大人40人とインストラクター約5人がぎゅうぎゅう詰めでした。
いくら利益の為とはいえ、あれはひどいです。私はダイバーですが、ダイビングでは同じような大きさの船でも10人が限度です。
座るところを探してもないぐらいの押込み具合で、もちろんシュノーケリング初めての方もいらっしゃいますので、イルカを見つけると、海上でバタバタし、イルカもすぐにいなくなりました。一目見れただけでラッキーだね！という捌き方なので、ゆっくりドルフィンスイムを希望の方にはこちらの会社はオススメ致しません。
カメラ撮影も高額で、静止画で60ドル、静止画&動画は100ドルと驚きの価格です。その上任意ですが、ウェットスーツ代も取られます。
カメラマンは40人に対して、1人だけです。帰国後に写真を確認すると、高額を支払ったにもかかわらず、やはり自身の写真は20枚前後です。これには納得がいきません。
定員数を20人程にし、カメラマンをもう一人増やせば、もっとよりよいツアーになると思います。改善されることを希望致します。
野生のイルカを一目でも見ることが出来たのは本当に嬉しかったです。次回のハワイ観光では他のツアー会社を利用しようと思います。

ちょっと残念！

イルカとはある程度距離がありましたが、感動しました。

West Oahu Snorkel Cruise with Dolphin Watch, Kayak, SUP, Waterslide & Lunch
Fantastic Morning Dolphins and You Ocean Fun Cruise!

The local crew (certified life guards and professional entertainers!) were very friendly and full of energy. They explained everything in both English and Japanese since there were quite a large number of Japanese tourists on our 40 person tour. There was music and dancing on the way to the spinner dolphin site. We sat at the back of the boat and enjoyed the sun and sea air; thank goodness we had lots of sunscreen! I wear glasses and there were prescription masks on the boat so I could see everything clearly.
The crew-led Hawaiian chant and orchid offering when we entered the dolphin site brought us good luck. The crew went in the water with us and pointed out several pods of dolphins swimming right by. I wanted to stay with the dolphins longer, but we had another scheduled stop. At the snorkeling site, a sea turtle swam right under our group and there were lots of fish all around. The inflatable water slide, “surfboard” and kayak added to the fun. For lunch we had cheeseburgers on taro buns with bags of chips — very tasty. The crew sang and danced a couple of hulas on the way back; a perfect ending to a great morning!
We drove from our hotel, arrived at the Waianae Boat Harbor early, and were a little concerned when we didn’t see any signs for Dolphins and You. However, a bus with Dolphins and You on the side pulled into the parking lot right where they said to meet at the specified meeting time. Be sure to take Dramamine if you think you might get motion sickness. Several people on the cruise got sick, even though I didn’t think it was very rough. I took a Dramamine before we left on the Dolphins and You cruise and was fine (I had gotten sick on a previous snorkel trip to Molokini off of Maui). Definitely APPLY SUNSCREEN early and often...the sun is very strong on the water.

We could not agree more with your suggestions of Dramamine and sunscreen use. That's the best way to stay comfortable on the water. We also recommend reef-safe sunscreen (which we offer in our office in Waikiki) to protect both your skin AND Hawaii's fragile coral reefs! Thank you again for your review. West Oahu Snorkel Cruise with Dolphin Watch, Kayak, SUP, Waterslide & Lunch
A morning on the *Swim with Dolphins Ocean Fun Cruise.*
Reviewed by: Bruce Randolph, 2018/06/30We’ve been on snorkeling cruises in the past (some out of Waianae Boat Harbor) but never with this company. We visit Hawaii often (my wife was born and raised in the islands) we view island activities with a critical eye. This was a super dolphin/snorkel trip. The cruise is on a smaller boat, which has the advantage of offering a smaller group of people, a more intimate experience, and a little more adventurous ride - I like all three. Staff on these boats are there to 1. Offer safety 2. Offer service and 3. Offer fun and adventure. The Dolphin’s and You staff were excellent on all counts. I’ve seen the “fun” part on other boats get a little smarmy, but the staff on this boat really did a great job of encouraging people to participate and enjoy themselves without being overly “slick” or pushy. They also had some talented people who shared music I found enjoyable.
I take my own pictures with underwater stills and video. The videographer/photographer on the trip did a super job and was kind enough to show me some great shots while still attending to everyone on board. I wish I could say that about all the snorkeling/watching tours we’ve been on.
Overall I’d say this was a really good trip - for anyone - experienced or novice. Tips: If you have motion sickness, or aren’t sure if you have motion sickness, take dramamine. Do it. Take sunscreen - Use it. If you’re not familiar with photography (above and below water) leave your gear at home. Experience the trip and allow the professional the ship provides offer you some of the best shots you’ll ever see - most likely better images than you can take yourself. Fooling with gear and worrying about taking pictures, will detract from the memories you can make just being in the water and seeing the amazing things the crew will show you.
There are lifetime memories you can take away from a half-day trip like this. It might *seem* pricey to some, but I assure you that it is worth every cent and you’ll be ready for more.

Amazing experience!
Reviewed by: Talisha Jackson , 2018/06/13This was such an incredible experience. Within minutes of leaving the harbour, there were dolphins next to our boat. We got in the water, and the pods of dolphins were swimming around us the whole time we were in there. When we moved to the snorkeling spot, again there were dolphins swimming straight under us and turtles swimming along the surface. They had great water activities at the snorkel spot, such is the SUP and trampoline. The staff were having so much fun, which made all the guests have heaps of fun. If you needed anything, they were happy to help. This was a highlight of our whole trip. Would highly recommend.

船酔い、波酔いはあると思うので酔い止めは飲んでおいた方がいいです。
自分は波酔いしてしまって後半滑り台とかで遊べなかったですが妻が他の参加者の方と謳歌していました :)
帰りの着替えする場所は船上かトイレしかないので濡れたまま帰る準備はあっても良いかもです。
書き込みありがとうございます。船酔いされてしまったようでとても残念ですが、イルカやクルー達との時間を楽しく過ごしていただけたようでよかったです。またハワイにお越しの際は、酔い止めを飲んでリベンジしてください。お待ちしております！

Great Snorkel & Dolphin Cruise
Reviewed by: mcavalheiro, 2018/06/05I had a blast with Dolphins & You, the cruise was fantastic! The crew was fun, prompt, courteous, engaging and entertaining. We saw a lot of dolphins and they were swimming right next to us. What an amazing feeling it is to be so close to such lovely creatures.
The west side coast is so beautiful, the mountains and the ocean... every where you look you makes you want to take pictures! The snorkel part was also great and for lunch we had a delicious burger.
The boat is so much fun, when they stop on the second snorkel location you also have the chance to play with the water toys, they have water slide stand-up paddle and kayaks.
Even though it might seem like the west coast is far away from Waikiki, it's totally worth the trip. This tour has free pick-up from most of Waikiki hotels and the snorkel spots are much better than the ones in Waikiki. I highly recommend this dolphin cruise to everyone!

We absolutely agree that snorkeling is more beautiful and exciting on the West side of Oahu, and the views of the Waianae Mountain Range make it even more of a 360-degree experience. Swim with Dolphins is Real!!!
Reviewed by: Ms. Ems, 2018/06/04It was my day off and kids were at school so I figured, why not do a "me" just for a day! I invited my friend to join me since she happened to have the same day off. We booked the Morning Cruise at 7:00am since the water is usually warmer and calmer, and we decided to drive ourselves to the harbor. What's good is that there is a restaurant at the harbor where you can buy coffee or breakfast before heading out.
Upon check-in, we were already given our snorkeling equipments, and an option to rent their body suits, which we rented for $10 each. They asked us to sign the liability waiver, and I think' it's cool that they even take your instagram information so they can tag you photos (if you're in it) that they upload at the end of the tour.
The staff and crew are very funny and entertaining! As we were heading out to the ocean, they peformed Polynesian dancing, and playing ukulele. They also performed traditional Hawaiian prayer for our safety. As we were getting closer, we could already see the pod of dolphins, af the signal from the crew members, we jumped to the water and started to swim with these beautiful dolphins!!! I never swam with dolphins in the open water before and this was really exciting!! There were lootsss of them!!
We hopped back on to the boat for our next snorkeling location and that before jumping in the water again, we were given some activity options to take such as stand-up paddle boarding, canoe ride, water slide, and many more!! It was just an awesome experience!!
Their lunch burgers were delicious too which were served as we were headed back to the harbor. It was long day but it was all worth it!!
Oh by the way, make sure to take seasickness pills if you get nauseous easily!

イルカ見れました！
Reviewed by: トラベル子, 2018/06/04海に顔をつけると、泳ぐイルカを何頭か見ることができました。
見たときは不思議な感覚になり、青い海と泳ぐイルカの姿に感動しました。
５月で海は少し冷たかったので、ウェットスーツ(有料)を借りて正解だったなと思いました。
わたしたちの時は他の国のお客さんが多く、スタッフさん含めとてもノリがよく船の上でも楽しい時間を過ごすことが出来ました。
特にスタッフさんたちの「お客さんに楽しんでもらいたい」という姿勢が伝わってきました。楽しい時間でした。

Highly recommend!
Reviewed by: Trevor Stokes, 2018/06/04Great family excursion! Absolutely fantastic trip with knowledgeable, informative and passionate crew. Friendly and relaxed. Swam with dolphins twice and saw several sea turtles. Our captain even found a second pod of dolphins so we could see another type. Watched spotted dolphins leaping into the air in our wake and even spotted a reef shark! Can't recommend highly enough!

スタッフが楽しそう

９時頃にワイキキにお迎えに来てくれます。
お迎えから送りまで日本人のスタッフさんがついていてくれるので安心感がありました。
天気はあまり良くなかったのですがスタートしていきなりウミガメに遭遇～
シュノーケリング始めるとすぐにイルカの群れを見ることができました。
海上にプカプカ浮きながら海中を泳いでるイルカを眺める感じでした。
３０分弱で船上にあがりスタッフのフラダンスを眺めながらハンバーガーをいただきました
ランチには期待してなかったので可もなく不可もなくといったところです。
SUPや滑り台もあると記載されてましたが数が少なく
なかなか楽しめませんでした
スタッフのみなさんお若くて
終始自分たちがふざけあって楽しんでらっしゃる
写真をUSBでもらえるので申込みましたが（55＄）
写真のボリュームはありましたが、自分たちがまともにうつってる写真は数枚
同船してた知らない人の写真ばかり
そんなのもらってもどうしてよいものか
また、絶対に今日の写真ではないイルカやウミガメの写真が盛りだくさん使われていたのにはガッカリ
こんな写真ならいらなかったです

眠い目をこすりながらかっこいいバス車内で注意事項やグッズの説明を聞き
テンションが上がります
そしてなにより スタッフ皆さんのハイテンション
細かい気遣いと個性的なキャラの面白さで
船上はパーティー状態で楽しかったです
イルカポイントでは自分の真下をゆっくり泳ぐイルカたちに
感激
別のポイントでは水中ではないような透明感のある場所で
ウミガメや熱帯魚と泳ぎ時間を忘れてしまうほど良い思い出でした
滑り台やトランポリン・フラレッスンも楽しめ 次回も必ず参加したいと
思います
自然相手のツアーですがイルカ以外にも楽しめておすすめです。
※参加される方へ 時期にもよるかと思いますがウエットスーツをレンタル
されることをお勧めします。
妻はロゴが気に入り購入しちゃいましたが

Glad I went
Reviewed by: ATJ, 2018/05/15This tour was really awesome! The staff was extremely helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. They had so many children on the tour I was on and they handled everything very safely and professionally. This tour doesn't guarantee dolphin sightings but they found them very quickly and easily and were very diligent to be sure everyone had a chance to see them. The Dolphins were in groups of 3-5 and I saw them at least 5 times. It was excellent.
The reef they brought us to was awesome! tons of fish and I saw at least 4 turtles.
I would highly recommend this tour. There are many that just to dolphin sightings, not swimming. Or they only allow 2-4 people in at once so youre not in the water the whole time, but they took everyone at once and kept a tight knit group and had recommendations on how to not scare the dolphins away. It was great. I didn't do any of the water sports because the snorkeling was so good but others looked to be having fun.

Very safe but also flexible.

Possibly the most memorable experience on our trip!
Reviewed by: Sandy R, 2018/05/14This trip exceeded my expectations. We swam with dolphins several times. One pod consisted of 16 dolphins. And we probably saw 50 green sea turtles. Outstanding! The crew went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great experience. I was saying good bye to my pictures as my camera sank into the coral below. Then Paul dove at least 25 feet underwater to retrieve it. Who could have expected this amount of attention? . As a bonus, he made his pictures available for everyone on board. Thank you, thank you!
