During the Obon season, there were a lot of people, and there were some unexpected incidents from the start, but we managed to board the boat and set sail.

My husband and I were a bit nervous about getting into the sea after a long time, but the staff were kind and made it fun, so we felt comfortable participating.

There were about 5 to 6 people who felt sick from seasickness, so I think it's better to have a light breakfast and definitely take motion sickness medication.

Masks, snorkels, and fins are provided, so you can participate in your swimsuit and sandals. Marine shoes are not necessary. We wore long-sleeve rash guards and leggings, so we didn't need wetsuits.

The coldest part was when we were on the boat and exposed to the wind, so it's better to have something warm to wear. There were several people shivering.

It was disappointing that we couldn't do activities like stand-up paddleboarding due to the strong wind, but on the plus side, we got to see a lot of dolphins, which was great.

I definitely want to participate again. Thank you very much.

お盆の時期だけに人が多く、集合時から何やらアクシデントでドタバタしてましたが、なんとか船に乗って出航できました。
旦那と2人 久しぶりに海に入るとあって最初は緊張気味でしたが、スタッフの方も優しく、楽しく盛り上げてくださって、安心して参加できました。
中には船酔いで気分が悪くなっている方も5〜6人いたので 、朝ごはんは少なめに、酔い止めは必ず飲んでおいた方が良いと思います。
マスク、シュノーケル、フィンは付いているので
水着にサンダルで参加できます。
マリンシューズは不要でした。
私たちは長袖ラッシュガードにレギンス着用なのでウェットスーツは不要でした。
船に上がってからボートで風にあたっているときが一番寒かったので、暖かい羽織りものがあった方がいいです。
ガタガタ震えている人が何人もいたので。
風が強くて、スタンダップパドル等のアクティビティができながったのは残念でしたが
その分イルカたちにはたくさん会えたので良かったです。
ぜひまた参加したいです。

We gathered at 5:50 AM and received explanations about important points during the bus ride to the port. I was really excited to hear that the chance of seeing dolphins was over 90%, and as we got off the bus and headed towards the boat, we encountered a sea turtle right away! I didn't see any dolphins at the first spot, but I was able to see several at the second spot! During snorkeling, I saw many beautiful fish and sea turtles. Not everyone was able to participate in the marine sports, which was one of the main reasons I joined this tour, so I was really disappointed that I couldn't take part. The staff on the boat were all very nice, and I had a really enjoyable day.

If I could suggest two areas for improvement:
The first is regarding the boat's restrooms. Both were broken, and it was cold and uncomfortable to have to hold it in.
The second is that I received an email meant for participants on a different day, which was mistakenly sent to me (it was from another instructor). I pointed this out in an email, but I didn't receive a response, and then I got a second incorrect email. Since it contained a photo of me, I hope they will be more careful with personal information.

朝5:50集合で、港までのバスの中では注意事項などの説明を受けました。
イルカが観れる確率は90%以上ということでとってもワクワクしていると、車を降りて船に向かう道で早速ウミガメに出会いました！
イルカのポイント１つ目では私は見れなかったのですが、２つ目のスポットでイルカを何頭か観れました！
シュノーケリングでは綺麗な魚やウミガメがたくさん観れました。
マリンスポーツは全員ができるわけではありませんでした。こちらのツアーに参加した大きな目的のひとつだったので参加できなくてすごく残念でした。
船のスタッフさん達は全員が良い人でとても楽しい１日を過ごすことができました。

改善してほしい点を２つ挙げると
１つ目は船のお手洗いについてです。２つとも壊れていて、お手洗いを我慢しなきゃいけなかったのが寒くて辛かったです。
２つ目は、後日、別の日の参加者宛のメールが誤送信されてきました。(他のインストラクターからでした。)間違ったのかと思い指摘のメールをしたのですが、そちらには返事が来ず、その後2回目の誤ったメールがきました。顔写真が載っていたので、個人情報の扱いには注意してほしいと思います。

I participated in Dolphin University. Since it was the second trip (meeting at 9 AM), I didn't have to wake up early, and I was in great shape, but the atmosphere on the boat was more intense than I expected (laughs).

Even in August, it can get really cold on the boat, so please bring extra bath towels. A hoodie is a must.

Once you spot a dolphin, you need to jump into the sea immediately and swim hard, or the dolphins will swim away. You'll be kicking with your fins until your legs are sore.

If you're not a strong swimmer, it might be tough unless you train in a pool in Japan first.

My 9-year-old son ran out of energy during his second attempt out of three and rested on the boat for the third try.

On the second trip, there was no lunch on the boat, and we only received a Whopper Jr. from Burger King on the way back. It's delicious, though.

イルカ大学、参加してきました。2便（9時集合）だったので早朝から起きることもなく、体調も万全でしたが、船上は予想以上にスパルタです（笑）。

8月でも船上はホントにガタガタするくらい寒いので、バスタオルは多めに持っていってください。パーカー必須です。

イルカを見つけたら即海へ飛び込み、ガチで泳がないとイルカが遠くへ行ってしまうので、足がパンパンになるまでフィンキックします。

泳ぎの苦手な方は日本のプールでトレーニングしてからじゃないとハードかも。

9歳の息子は3回のトライのうち2回目で体力が尽き、3回目は船上で休んでました。

2便は船上ランチはなく、帰りのバスでバーガーキングのワッパージュニアを配られるだけです。美味しいけどね。

It was truly amazing. We searched for dolphins from the boat, and as soon as we spotted them, we put on our snorkels and dove into the sea! Underwater, there was a large group of dolphins, creating a magical world! After playing a bit with the dolphins, we moved on to the next snorkeling spot… this time, there were three sea turtles! Swimming with the sea turtles was the best moment! Despite a hurricane approaching that day, the visibility was outstanding, and I don't think the conditions could have been better. While the presence of wildlife and sea conditions depend on luck, I feel like we used up all our luck this time because it was just incredible!! In the end, we all did a hula dance together, and it was so much fun! I want to participate again with my family next time.

本当に凄かったです。船上からイルカを探してイルカを発見したらすぐにシュノーケルをつけて海にダイブ！
海の中ではイルカの大群がいて幻想的な世界でした！
イルカの大群の中で少し遊んでからは次のシュノーケルポイントへ…今度はウミガメが3匹も居ました！
ウミガメとも一緒に泳げて最高の一時でした！
当日はハリケーンが来てるという中透明度もバツグンでこれ以上のコンディションは無いのじゃかいかな？というぐらい良かったです。
自然の生き物と海のコンディションは運次第だけど、今回は全ての運を使い果たしたのじゃないかな？というぐらい最高でした！！
最後はフラダンスもみんなでして楽しかったです！
今度は家族と参加したいです。

In the morning, a dedicated bus came to pick us up near the hotel. From there, we traveled by boat to the location where the dolphins were. During the first two attempts, we couldn't see any dolphins, and I was worried about whether we would get to see them, but we were able to see them swimming underwater!

Due to lack of sleep and fatigue, along with the low water temperature, I ended up feeling seasick towards the end, but I’m glad I had this valuable experience.

I think it would be better to prepare some motion sickness medication if possible.

朝は専用バスがホテル近くまで迎えに来てくれました。
そこから船でイルカのいる場所まで移動。最初の二回はイルカは見えず、会えるかどうか不安でしたが無事に水中を泳ぐ姿が見れました！

寝不足と疲労、それから水温が低かった為に最後の方は船酔いしてしまいましたが、貴重な体験ができて良かったです。

酔い止めは出来れば用意した方が良いと思います。

I participated in the 11:00 departure plan. Previously, I joined an early morning departure plan where there were many dolphins, but this time I felt there were fewer and more scattered.

Also, I participated with my 10-year-old and 7-year-old children. To see the dolphins, it's quite important to jump into the sea from the boat quickly, but since I had to take care of the kids, I didn't have much time to look under the water. In the end, I only saw the shadows of dolphins a little way off.

The Japanese female guide and the crew on the boat were all fun people, so I was very satisfied with that.

If I were to make a recommendation, it would be: 1) Participate in the earliest tour possible, and 2) Join with adults or older children only.

If you want to show small children the dolphins, I think a dolphin watching tour from the boat without snorkeling would be more enjoyable than a plan that includes snorkeling.

11:00出航プランに参加しました。以前は早朝出航のプランに参加し、イルカがたくさんいましたが、今回はまばらで数が少なかった気がします。

また、今回１０歳と７歳の子供連れで参加しました。イルカを見るためには、スピード勝負で、船から真っ先に海に飛びこむことが結構大切ですが、子供のケアをしなければならないので、海の下を覗いている余裕があまりありませんでした。結局、少しだけ遠くにイルカの魚影が影のように見えただけでした。

ガイドしてくれた日本人の女性や、船のクルーはみんな楽しい人たちばかりなので、そこは非常に満足しています。

おすすめするとすれば、①極力朝一のツアーに参加すること、②大人または大きな子供だけで参加すること、です。

もし、小さな子供にイルカを見せてあげたい！という方は、イルカとシュノーケリングするプランではなく、シュノーケリングはせずに、船の上からイルカウォッチングするツアーの方が、楽しめると思います。

We used this service for our honeymoon. The small boat was packed with about 40 adults and around 5 instructors. No matter how much profit is at stake, that was terrible. I am a diver, and even on boats of similar size, the limit is 10 people.

There was hardly any space to sit, and of course, there were beginners in snorkeling, so when we spotted dolphins, everyone was flailing around in the water, and the dolphins quickly disappeared. It was handled in a way that made it feel like just being lucky to see them once! Therefore, I do not recommend this company for those hoping for a leisurely dolphin swim.

The camera fees were also exorbitant, with still images costing $60 and both still images and videos costing $100, which is shocking. Additionally, although it was optional, there was also a charge for the wetsuit. There was only one photographer for 40 people. When I checked the photos after returning home, despite paying a high price, I only had about 20 photos of myself. I am not satisfied with this.

I believe that if they reduced the capacity to around 20 people and added another photographer, the tour would be much better. I hope for improvements.

I was truly happy to see wild dolphins, even just once. For my next trip to Hawaii, I plan to use a different tour company.

今回ハネムーンで利用しました。
小さな船に大人40人とインストラクター約5人がぎゅうぎゅう詰めでした。
いくら利益の為とはいえ、あれはひどいです。私はダイバーですが、ダイビングでは同じような大きさの船でも10人が限度です。

座るところを探してもないぐらいの押込み具合で、もちろんシュノーケリング初めての方もいらっしゃいますので、イルカを見つけると、海上でバタバタし、イルカもすぐにいなくなりました。一目見れただけでラッキーだね！という捌き方なので、ゆっくりドルフィンスイムを希望の方にはこちらの会社はオススメ致しません。

カメラ撮影も高額で、静止画で60ドル、静止画&動画は100ドルと驚きの価格です。その上任意ですが、ウェットスーツ代も取られます。
カメラマンは40人に対して、1人だけです。帰国後に写真を確認すると、高額を支払ったにもかかわらず、やはり自身の写真は20枚前後です。これには納得がいきません。

定員数を20人程にし、カメラマンをもう一人増やせば、もっとよりよいツアーになると思います。改善されることを希望致します。


野生のイルカを一目でも見ることが出来たのは本当に嬉しかったです。次回のハワイ観光では他のツアー会社を利用しようと思います。

The guide mentioned that it was quite a lucky day, as we quickly discovered a pod of dolphins after we started searching. We encountered dolphins jumping out of the water and several times came across a group of dolphins, seeing about 60 of them (according to the guide)! My family was also deeply moved, making it the best experience. After that, we enjoyed snorkeling surrounded by large sea turtles and fish, feeling like we were in an aquarium. We ended with a hula dance and a group photo.

The guide was a woman named Julie, and she was fantastic. She was very funny, upbeat, and kept us laughing from the explanations in the car to the guidance on the boat. Her strong love for the ocean and dolphins was evident, making her an excellent guide. I think it would be lucky to have Julie as your guide.

One thing to take note of is that, as Julie mentioned herself, this dolphin experience is quite athletic and rigorous. It felt like, "Wait, are we jumping in already?" and the kids were a bit scared, but once we jumped in, everything turned out fine. In the end, we were all super moved, so the rigorous approach ended up being a good thing.

Overall, encountering the dolphins and having the best guide made for an incredibly fortunate tour. I highly recommend it.

ガイドさんも言っていましたが、かなりラッキーな日だったようで、探し始めてすぐにイルカ先生の群れを発見。海面をジャンプするイルカに加え、群れで及ぶイルカに何度も遭遇でき、約60頭（ガイドさん曰く）も見ることが出来ました！　家族も感動しきりで最高の体験になりました。　その後は、大きなウミガメや魚に囲まれた水族館にいるようなシュノーケリングを楽しみました。最後は皆でフラダンスと記念撮影で終了。

ジュリさんというガイドさんだったのですが、この女性がまた最高でした。とっても面白く、ノリが良くて、車内の説明から船上でのガイダンスまで笑いっぱなし。また海やイルカへの愛が強く気持ち・情熱が伝わるガイドでとても良かったです。ジュリさんに当たったらラッキーだと思います。　
一点Take Noteしたいのは、ジュリさんも自分で言っていましたが、このイルカ中学、結構体育会系でスパルタです。「え？これでもう飛び込んじゃうの？」という感じで、子供たちもビビッていましたが、いざ飛び込んだら何とかなるもの。結局超感動していたので、このスパルタも結果的には良かったです。
というわけで、イルカとの遭遇も、最高のガイドさんも、恵まれた最高のツアーでした。強くお勧めです。

We were able to encounter a pod of dolphins, and my daughter was excited. It seems that luck can vary from day to day, and we were lucky this time.

The staff were kind, which made us feel secure participating in the tour, and our satisfaction level was quite high. I'm glad we participated. If there’s another opportunity, I would definitely like to join again.

イルカの群れに出会う事ができ、娘も興奮していました。やはり、その日によって運の良い悪いはあるようで、今回はラッキーでした。

I was very anxious about participating with my 4-year-old child who can't swim, but the staff said, "I'll take good care of you, so you just enjoy yourself," which I was really grateful for. They held my daughter securely both in the water and on the boat, and she seemed to feel safe.

The other people were also friendly and would check in on us, creating an easy-going atmosphere where it was comfortable to ask questions.

And we encountered dolphins! At a distance of about two meters! We came across a group of about eight, and two of them swam alongside me. They looked directly into my eyes, and I looked back at them… it was an unexpected moment of eye contact! It may have been a very brief time, but it felt like we were together for a long time in the blue sea, and I will never forget that memory. It was an event that made me realize that even in middle age, there are still things that can move me so deeply.

We also met a sea turtle. It was swimming leisurely and had an impressive presence.

I recommend renting a wetsuit. The first boat departs at 7:30 AM, and the wind after getting out of the water can be quite cold. My husband, who has a bit more body fat, didn’t seem cold at all, but my child and I felt chilly even in wetsuits. Also, I recommend bringing motion sickness medication. The prestigious Dolphin University uses a double-hulled boat, so it doesn't rock much, but it's a good precaution just in case you start to feel unwell.

4歳の泳げない子どもを連れての参加でしたので、非常に不安でしたが、スタッフの方が「私がちゃんとケアするから、あなたはしっかり楽しんで」と言ってくださり、本当にありがたかったです。
実際、娘を海の中でも船の上でもしっかりと抱きかかえてくれて、娘も安心していたようです。
他の方々も、ことあるごとに声をかけてくださるし、何かあれば聞きやすいフレンドリーな雰囲気です。

そしてイルカ、出会えましたよ！　しかも２メートルくらいの至近距離で！　8頭くらいの群れと出会ったのですが、うち2頭が私と並行に泳いでくれたんです。そして私の目をじっと見て、私も彼らの目を見て…まさかのアイコンタクト！　それはとても短い時間だったのでしょうが、音が一瞬聞こえなくなり、青い海のなかでとても長い間一緒にいたような気がしました。一生忘れられない思い出です。中年になっても、こんなに感動できることがまだあったのかと思うくらいの出来事でした。

ウミガメ先生にも出会えましたよ。ゆったりと泳いでらして、すごい貫禄でした。

ウェットスーツのレンタルはおススメです。第1便だと7時半出港ですから、水から上がったあとの風はかなり冷たいです。肉付きのよい夫は全然寒くなかったようですが、私と子どもはウェットスーツを着ていても寒かったです。
それから、酔い止めのお薬の持参をおススメします。名門イルカ大学は双頭船なのでさほど揺れませんが、気分が悪くなってはもったいないので念のためのお守りです。

I participated with my son. Since we used it a few days before summer vacation, my son, who is 10 years old, was the only child, but both adults and children enjoyed it.

It's quite a physically demanding tour, but it's fine for kids. Even those who can't swim were able to enjoy it with the support of the staff. I was thrilled to swim with dolphins on my third attempt. The place where we first dove was astonishingly beautiful, and that alone was moving. I also got to swim with sea turtles, and we had a lot of fun with sea kayaking, slides, and stand-up paddleboarding.

My son also had a great time playing with the staff. The hamburgers were excellent.

There were a few people who got seasick, so it's essential to take motion sickness medication if you participate. Even though my son and I usually don't get seasick, we took it just in case, and I think that was the right decision.

I purchased photos for $65 on a USB. If you download them, it's $60. There are about 500 photos from the entire tour that day.

息子と2人で参加しました。夏休みの数日前に利用したためか、子どもは10才のうちの息子のみでしたが、大人も子どもも楽しめました。

けっこう体力がいるツアーですが、子どもでも大丈夫。泳げない方もスタッフの方のフォローで楽しんでました。３回目のチャレンジでイルカと泳げて感激しました。始めにダイブした場所は海が驚くほどキレイで、それだけでも感動。海亀とも泳げて、シーカヤックやスライダー、サップもできてホントに楽しかったです。

息子もスタッフの方に沢山遊んでもらって良かったです。ハンバーガーも絶品でした。

船酔いでダウンの方も数名いらっしゃったので、参加の際は酔い止めは必須です。普段は酔わない私達親子も念のため飲んで行きましたが、正解だったと思います。

写真は65ドルでUSBを購入しました。ダウンロードだと60ドルです。その日のツアー全体の写真が500枚くらいになります。

The weather was great, and the waves were calm, so as soon as we set sail, we encountered a large pod of dolphins! It was amazing to see dolphins coming from both directions! After that, we went snorkeling at a sea turtle spot, where we saw about four or five sea turtles, and our guide took some wonderful photos for us! The hamburger we had at the end was really delicious. The guides were all cheerful, and it was a very enjoyable and fulfilling tour!

お天気も良く、波も少ない日で、出航してすぐ沢山のイルカの群れに会えました！あっちからもこっちからもイルカがきて感動しました！その後ウミガメのスポットでシュノーケリング、ウミガメも4、5匹いて、ガイドさんが素敵な写真を撮ってくれました！最後に食べたハンバーガーはとっても美味しかったです。ガイドさん達はみんな明るく、とても楽しくて、充実したツアーでした！

I joined this tour because I wanted to swim with dolphins! It was completely different from any snorkeling I've done before and required a lot of physical effort! But that's the purpose of the tour, to swim with dolphins! I swam with all my might to be with the dolphins☆ I was very tired, but I was able to swim with many dolphins and even encountered a turtle, creating wonderful memories♪ The spam onigiri I had on the boat was really delicious (^_^)

イルカと泳ぎたくてこのツアーに参加しました！今まで参加したシュノーケルとは全然違ってとても体力のいるツアーです！でもこれはツアーの目的であるイルカと泳ぐため！イルカと泳ぎたくて全力で泳ぎました☆とっても疲れましたがたくさんのイルカと泳ぐことができ、また亀にも遭遇してとても楽しい思い出ができました♪船の上で食べたスパムおにぎりがとっても美味しかったです(^_^)

I'm glad I was able to see the dolphins, but I felt that the time spent on other activities (like the staff's performance) was a bit wasted compared to the time swimming with the dolphins. I think it would have been better to visit a few more spots to increase the time spent swimming with the dolphins.

イルカは見ることができて良かったのですが、イルカと泳げた時間に対して、それ以外（スタッフさんのパフォーマンス等）の時間が勿体なかったかな？何ヵ所かポイントを回ってイルカと泳ぐ時間を増やす方が良かったと思います。

It was an awesome experience. The crew was very friendly and nice. The bus was nice and new and comfortable. I however did get a little sea sick so I would recommend taking motion sickness pills to help. Also I would bring a towel

It might require quite a bit of stamina. I think it would be tough if you're not used to exercising. However, I forget my fatigue and desperately chase after the dolphins. The tiredness hits me later (laughs). I was a bit distant from the dolphins, but it was an emotional experience.

結構体力が必要かも？普段から運動していないときついと思います。だけど、疲れていることを忘れ必死にイルカを追っかけますので。あとで疲れが来ます(笑)
イルカとはある程度距離がありましたが、感動しました。

I was worried about not being able to see any dolphins, but I ended up seeing a lot of them. I was so absorbed in dolphin watching that before I knew it, my husband and I had separated while watching. It was also fun dancing on the boat!

Just as the rumors said, Julie was amazing! She was very cute and full of energy, and thanks to her, the tour was a lot of fun!
I was feeling uneasy due to lack of sleep, jet lag, and being prone to seasickness, but I thought I could manage with some motion sickness medication.
The boat didn't sway too much, but after we got into the water for a while, I started to feel seasick.
However, I forgot about feeling sick because I was so focused on taking pictures of the dolphins, and I even saw baby dolphins!
When we returned to the boat to move to the sea turtle point, I remembered that I had been feeling sick.
The sea turtles swam really close to us, and there were so many of them; it was truly moving.
On the way back, I completely crashed and slept the whole time, but I think it was a great tour!
The crew members were all really nice. It was the best.

Since it was cold, I definitely recommend borrowing a wetsuit (everyone in our group borrowed one).
I also think it's a good idea to bring a bath towel (it gets cold after you take off the wetsuit).
You'll be swaying on the sea for about three hours, so motion sickness medication is a must. I want to participate in this tour again after somehow overcoming seasickness.
I was also happy to receive the group photo via email right after the tour! 😊

船はそこまで揺れなかったですが、海に入ってしばらくしたら波酔いしてしまいました。
でもイルカがたくさん見えて、赤ちゃんイルカも見えて、写真を撮るのに夢中で気持ち悪くなっていたことも忘れました。
ウミガメのポイントへ移動するため船に戻ると、酔っていたことを思い出しました。笑
ウミガメもすっごく近くで泳いでくれて、たくさんいて、感動しました。
帰りの船は完全ダウンでずっと寝てしまいましたが、とてもいいツアーだったと思います！
本当にクルーの方がみんないい人。
最高でした。

寒いのでウエットスーツは絶対に借りたほうがいいです。（私たちのクラスは全員借りてました）
あとバスタオルも持参したほうがいいと思います。（ウエットスーツ脱いだあと寒いので）
約3時間海の上で揺られることになるので、酔い止めは必須。どうにか船酔いを克服してまた参加したいツアーです。笑
あとツアー後にすぐ集合写真をメールで頂けたのも嬉しかったです(^^)

Unfortunately, I couldn't meet the dolphins on my first attempt, but on my second try, I was able to meet them successfully! The staff were all cheerful, and I had a wonderful time!

１回目は残念ながらイルカとは会えませんでしたが、２回目のチャレンジで無事会えることができました！スタッフの方も陽気な方ばかりで、楽しい時間を過ごすことができました！

This time, my wife, who can't swim, wanted to take on the challenge and participated! However, she gave up right after jumping in (^^;

Even so, we were able to enjoy a wonderful time on the boat with the best performances and the attentive service from the crew.

He seemed nervous with the unfamiliar life jacket and snorkel, but the class representative, Julie, kindly supported him, and we were able to see dolphins up close. Unfortunately, we could only see sea turtles from the boat because my child gets cold easily, but we spotted about four of them. The spam musubi for a light snack was also delicious. The other participants and the staff were very friendly, and the final hula was a lot of fun. I definitely want to participate again once my son can swim better! Julie, please wait for us until then!

慣れないライフジャケットとシュノーケルに緊張した様子でしたが学級委員ジュリさんが優しくフォローしてくれてイルカを目の前で見る事が出来ました。
海ガメは残念ながら子供が寒がり船の上からとなりましたが4匹近くで見られました。
軽食のスパムむすびも美味しかったです。
一緒に参加された方、スタッフの方々もノリが良く最後のフラもとても楽しかったです。
また息子がもっと泳げるようになったら絶対参加したいです！

I found this review very helpful, so I’d like to share my thoughts as well.

I participated with my 6-year-old daughter, who just turned six, and my parents in their 70s, making it a three-generation outing.

Renting a wetsuit was essential, especially for slim individuals, children, and the elderly. It gets surprisingly cold floating in the sea for a long time without a wetsuit, and after seeing the dolphins, when the boat moves to the snorkeling spot, it’s really cold with the wind on a wet body. By the way, it was sunny at the end of June. Everyone on the trip was wearing one.

My daughter wore a swimsuit, a short-sleeve rash guard, rash leggings, and a rented wetsuit that was long-sleeved and shorts. Even with that, she was shivering and had blue lips after getting out of the water. I thought maybe I should have gotten her a thicker, warmer long-sleeve and long-pants rash guard. Since children are just floating and not swimming hard, they get colder more easily.

After snorkeling, my daughter was so cold that she wanted to take off her wet swimsuit immediately, so she quickly changed into her regular clothes on the boat while shivering, put on a windbreaker, and finally stopped shivering once she wore a down jacket. I think it would be reassuring to bring a compact ultra-down jacket from Uniqlo for children who get cold easily.

A children's pool towel with a hood and snaps is convenient for changing anywhere. A super absorbent, quick-drying, ultra-thin chamois towel was also very handy. No matter how many beach towels you have from the hotel, it’s never enough.

By the way, my daughter could do a face-down flutter kick and had her first snorkeling experience at Hanauma Bay the day before. My husband went into the sea first, and the staff helped lower my daughter from the boat, where my husband caught her below. From the boat to the water's surface, it’s close enough that you can sit and your feet won’t reach, but it’s not a scary height. Everyone else jumped in from standing, but since we were last in line, my mother and I sat down and slipped into the sea. They also provide floatation devices. The support and encouragement from the staff were experienced and made me feel really safe while snorkeling.

I recommend the dissolvable motion sickness tablets. I usually get seasick even with a float, but this time I was perfectly fine.

Juri, the class representative, was just like a class representative should be—very caring and someone you can rely on. I was really satisfied with the thoughtful consideration and kindness she showed, and I’m so glad I participated. The bus ride was refreshing and fun, with a very clear guide. I made truly wonderful memories.

今回、こちらの口コミをとても参考にさせていただきましたので、私の感想も少しのせてみますね。

6歳になったばかりの年長さんの娘と、70代の両親と３世代での参加です。

ウェットスーツのレンタルは必須でした。特に細身の方。お子様やお年寄り。必須です！
海で長時間浮かんでいるのも、ウェットスーツが無いと、思いのほか寒くなってくるので耐えられないのと、イルカを見た後、船がシュノーケルスポットへ移動する時も、濡れた体で風を受けるので、ウェットスーツ着ていないと寒くて無理です！
ちなみに6月末で晴天です。　
参加者全員着用してました。

娘は水着+半袖ラッシュガード+ラッシュレギンス+レンタルのウェットスーツは長袖半ズボンで、それでも海から上がるとガタガタ震えて唇青くて。。
もっと上下厚手の保温タイプの長袖長ズボンラッシュにしてあげれば良かったかな～くらいな感じです。子供は特に浮かんでいるだけなので、一生懸命泳がないから余計寒いのですね。

シュノーケルが終わると、娘は寒すぎて、濡れた水着をすぐに脱ぎたがりましたので、船上で震えながらもパパッと普段着に着替え、防風ウィンドブレーカーをはおり、更にダウンジャケットでようやく震えが止まった様子。
寒がりなお子様にはコンパクトなユ○クロのウルトラダウンみたいなのを是非念のためお持ちになると安心だと思います。

フードやスナップのついた子供用のプールタオルは何処でもお着替えが出来て便利。
タオルも超吸水、超速乾、超薄のセームタオルが便利でした。ホテルのビーチタオルでは何枚あっても足りません。

ちなみに娘は顔付ばた足が出来る程度で、前日にハナウマ湾で初めてシュノーケルを経験した所。
パパが先に海におりて、船上からスタッフの方に娘を抱き下ろしてもらい、パパが下で受け取る形。船から水面は、座って足は届かないけれど、かなり近いです。皆さん立って足から飛び降りる感じですが、順番の最後だったので、私や母は座ってから、足からスルッと海に降りました。怖くない高さです。
浮き棒等貸して下さいます。
サポートも声掛けもベテランで、本当に安心してシュノーケル出来ました。

舐めるタイプの酔止めはおすすめです。普段浮き輪でも酔う私ですが、今回はバッチリでした。

学級委員のじゅりさんが、まさに学級委員って感じで、とっても面倒見がよくて思わず頼りたくなる本当に素敵な方で、細やかな配慮と優しい気配りで、こちらに参加して本当に良かったと大満足でした。
バスの中でも爽やかで楽しくて、とても分かりやすいガイドをして頂きました。本当に素敵な思い出が出来ました。

また次回も必ずイルカ中学を選びます！本当にありがとうございました！

We had a great morning cruise with Dolphins and You. The local crew (certified life guards and professional entertainers!) were very friendly and full of energy. They explained everything in both English and Japanese since there were quite a large number of Japanese tourists on our 40 person tour. There was music and dancing on the way to the spinner dolphin site. We sat at the back of the boat and enjoyed the sun and sea air; thank goodness we had lots of sunscreen! I wear glasses and there were prescription masks on the boat so I could see everything clearly.

The crew-led Hawaiian chant and orchid offering when we entered the dolphin site brought us good luck. The crew went in the water with us and pointed out several pods of dolphins swimming right by. I wanted to stay with the dolphins longer, but we had another scheduled stop. At the snorkeling site, a sea turtle swam right under our group and there were lots of fish all around. The inflatable water slide, “surfboard” and kayak added to the fun. For lunch we had cheeseburgers on taro buns with bags of chips — very tasty. The crew sang and danced a couple of hulas on the way back; a perfect ending to a great morning!

We drove from our hotel, arrived at the Waianae Boat Harbor early, and were a little concerned when we didn’t see any signs for Dolphins and You. However, a bus with Dolphins and You on the side pulled into the parking lot right where they said to meet at the specified meeting time. Be sure to take Dramamine if you think you might get motion sickness. Several people on the cruise got sick, even though I didn’t think it was very rough. I took a Dramamine before we left on the Dolphins and You cruise and was fine (I had gotten sick on a previous snorkel trip to Molokini off of Maui). Definitely APPLY SUNSCREEN early and often...the sun is very strong on the water.

We’ve been on snorkeling cruises in the past (some out of Waianae Boat Harbor) but never with this company. We visit Hawaii often (my wife was born and raised in the islands) we view island activities with a critical eye. This was a super dolphin/snorkel trip. The cruise is on a smaller boat, which has the advantage of offering a smaller group of people, a more intimate experience, and a little more adventurous ride - I like all three. Staff on these boats are there to 1. Offer safety 2. Offer service and 3. Offer fun and adventure. The Dolphin’s and You staff were excellent on all counts. I’ve seen the “fun” part on other boats get a little smarmy, but the staff on this boat really did a great job of encouraging people to participate and enjoy themselves without being overly “slick” or pushy. They also had some talented people who shared music I found enjoyable.
I take my own pictures with underwater stills and video. The videographer/photographer on the trip did a super job and was kind enough to show me some great shots while still attending to everyone on board. I wish I could say that about all the snorkeling/watching tours we’ve been on.
Overall I’d say this was a really good trip - for anyone - experienced or novice. Tips: If you have motion sickness, or aren’t sure if you have motion sickness, take dramamine. Do it. Take sunscreen - Use it. If you’re not familiar with photography (above and below water) leave your gear at home. Experience the trip and allow the professional the ship provides offer you some of the best shots you’ll ever see - most likely better images than you can take yourself. Fooling with gear and worrying about taking pictures, will detract from the memories you can make just being in the water and seeing the amazing things the crew will show you.
There are lifetime memories you can take away from a half-day trip like this. It might *seem* pricey to some, but I assure you that it is worth every cent and you’ll be ready for more.

We gathered at the hotel entrance at 5:55 AM. Since it was June, which is typically a low season, there were about 20 participants, which the guide mentioned was about half the usual number. I felt that having a smaller group made the day more enjoyable.

We traveled by bus to the port (about an hour), and during that time, the guide's stories and videos were so interesting that there was no time to sleep. After waiting for about 15 minutes upon arrival at the port, we boarded the boat. The crew members were introduced, and we set off.

On this day, perhaps due to the strong winds, the waves were high, and the boat rocked quite a bit, causing a few people to feel unwell. About 20 minutes after departing, we had our first encounter with dolphins. We spotted a pod about 10 meters ahead, so we put on our goggles and fins and jumped in together. Unfortunately, during the first jump, the dolphins swam away, so we couldn't swim with them.

We returned to the boat and searched for another pod. About 15 minutes later, we found another group and jumped in again. This time, we successfully located the pod, and around 10 dolphins swam right beneath me. It was an unprecedented experience, and it felt truly moving to be swimming alongside them. We all shared our joy as we returned to the boat.

Next was snorkeling in search of sea turtles. After about a 20-minute boat ride, we jumped in at a spot where sea turtles are easy to find. Within just a few minutes, we spotted a turtle and observed it from a distance. After that, a professional photographer took various poses of us. We could purchase all the photos from the professional photographer on the way back (data for $60, USB for $65).

After returning to the boat, we had almost free time. We could eat the cheeseburgers made by the captain, snack on chips, do stand-up paddleboarding, or kayak. Most people chose to relax and eat on the boat.

Once everything was finished, we danced hula on the boat while heading back to the port. After arriving at the port, we took a short break before boarding the bus back to Waikiki. Most people were asleep on the bus.

The encounter rate with dolphins is said to be 90%, but we were fortunate to encounter them quickly, so I didn't feel the discomfort of the boat ride too much and was able to have a valuable experience.

5時55分にホテルの入り口に集合でした。
6月ということもあり、閑散期なのか、参加者は20名程度で、ガイドさん曰く、いつもの半分くらいの人数だったようです。1日を通じて少人数のほうが過ごしやすいと感じました。
みんなでバスで港へ移動（約1時間）し、その間もガイドさんのお話や映像が面白いので、寝る暇はありません。
港に着いてから15分くらい待機して、船に乗り込みます。クルーメンバーが紹介されて出発です。
この日は風が強いせいか波が高く、船はかなり揺れたので、体調が悪くなってしまうひとも2.3人いました。
船を出して20分くらいで1回目のイルカとの遭遇でした。10メートルくらい先にイルカの群れが見えたので、ゴーグルやフィンを付けてみんなで飛び込んで群れの方に向かいます。1回目の飛び込みではイルカの群れが逃げてしまったので、実際に一緒に泳ぐことはできませんでした。
船に戻って、また群れを探し、15分後くらいにまた群れを発見し飛び込みました。今度はうまく群れを見つけ、自分の泳ぐ真下を10頭くらいのイルカが泳いで通りました。今までにない体験で、ほんとに一緒に泳いでいるようで感動的な瞬間でした。みんなで喜びを分かち合いながら船に戻ります。
次はウミガメ探しのシュノーケリングです。20分くらい船で移動して、ウミガメの見つけやすいポイントでみんなで飛び込みます。飛び込んで、3分もしないうちにウミガメを見つけ、少し遠くから眺めます。その後、プロのカメラマンの方がいろいろなポーズで写真を撮ってくれます。プロのカメラマンの写真はは帰りに全て購入することができます。（データは60ドル、USBは65ドル）
みんなで船に戻った後はほぼ自由時間でした。船長が作るチーズバーガーを食べるもよし、チップスを食べるもよし、スタンディングパドルをするもよし、カヌーを漕ぐもよし、基本的には船上で食事をして休む人が多かったです。
すべてが終わって船でフラダンスを踊りながら港へ帰ります。
港へ着いてからは少し休憩してバスに乗り込み、ワイキキへ戻ります。バスの中では、ほとんどの方が眠っていました。
イルカとの遭遇率は90パーセントらしいですが、本当にすぐイルカとの遭遇できたので、船のつらさもそこまで感じずに、貴重な体験をすることができました。

This time, we were picked up from Ko Olina, so we arrived at the departure port early. (Last time, we were picked up from Waikiki, so we ended up spending quite a long time in the car.) On the day of the trip, there was a slight delay in departure due to engine trouble, but perhaps that was fortunate? Right after we set off, another tour found dolphins, so we were able to get into the water right away. During my previous participation, the waves were rough, and I could only see the dolphins swimming along the seabed, but this time they were swimming close to the surface, so we could see them within reach. Later, at another spot, we were able to see four sea turtles up close, and one came up to the surface to breathe right in front of my wife, which was very moving. I'm really glad I participated again this time. I would definitely like to join for a third time if the opportunity arises. I am very grateful for the guide's hospitality. (By the way, the malasada service that was available last time was no longer offered.)

今回はコオリナからの送迎だったので、出発する港へも早く到着しました。
（前回はワイキキからだったので、意外と長く車に乗りました）
当日、船のエンジンが不調とのことで少し出発が遅れましたが、それが幸い？
したのか出発してすぐに別のツアーがイルカを見つけていたので、すぐに海に入ることができました。
前回の参加時は波も荒く、イルカも海底を泳いでいる姿を見るくらいでしたが、今回は海面近くを泳いでいたので手の届くようなところで見られました。
その後移動した場所で、ウミガメ4匹も近くで見られ、家内の目の前に呼吸しに上がってきたりしてとても感動しました。今回も参加してとても良かったです。3回目も是非機会があれば参加したいと思いました。ガイドさんのホスピタリティーに大感謝です。
（因みに、前回はあったマラサダサービスはなくなっていました）

This was my second time participating, and I was once again very satisfied! I was able to swim with many dolphins. I'm usually scared to swim in the ocean where I can't touch the bottom, but in this activity, I had zero fear. For those who are anxious about swimming, they provide not only life jackets but also floatation devices, which is reassuring. It seems that swimming with spinner dolphins is something you can only do in Hawaii, so I highly recommend it. Our guide, Juli, was also fun and lively! I definitely want to participate again when I go to Hawaii!

We participated in the tour on June 24 with five people. Although the pickup was early in the morning, the staff's fun talks and the detailed explanations of the tour were appreciated. Once on the boat, the captain and the friendly crew naturally brought smiles to our faces. We swam with dolphins at the two locations they guided us to, and both times we encountered dolphins, which was an emotional and thrilling moment. We also saw sea turtles several times at the surface. This was my first dolphin tour, but thanks to the enjoyable guidance from the staff, as well as the boat burgers and hula dancing, we had a wonderful time. If I come to Hawaii again, I will definitely join this tour without hesitation. Thank you to everyone at Dolphin & You.

6月24日のツアーに5人で参加しました。朝早いピックアップでしたが、スタッフ皆さんの楽しいトークやツアーの説明には丁寧さも感じました。船に乗船してからもキャプテンをはじめ楽しくて親切なスタッフクルーに笑顔が自然に出ておりました。イルカは二回ほど案内して頂いた場所で泳ぎましたが、二回ともイルカに出逢え感動と感激の瞬間を味合うことが出来ました。海亀も海面上で何回も出逢えました。今回は初めてのイルカツアーでしたが、スタッフ皆さんの楽しい引率や船上バーガー・フラダンスなど、楽しい時間を過ごさせて頂来ました。またハワイに来たら迷わすツアーに参加させて頂きます。ドルフィン&ユーの皆様有難うございました。

A trip to Hawaii with my friend's family. I was the only one who wanted to swim with dolphins, so I felt anxious but decided to sign up anyway. My worries while waiting for the pickup bus were blown away by the guide's Japanese. All the participants were Japanese as well, and they were all cheerful and friendly, which made me feel even more at ease!

The one-hour ride was never boring thanks to the lively talk from our guide, Julie (a cheerful Japanese woman). The weather was great, the boat was stable, and I enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the west coast of Hawaii. I got to see plenty of dolphins, turtles, and tropical fish, which was thrilling and moving!

The staff were not only cheerful but also maintained safety properly, which made me feel secure. Typically, I am satisfied after one experience, but this time I found myself wanting to participate again.

イルカと泳ぎたいのは、自分1人だったので不安ながらも申し込みました。
ピックアップしてくれるバスを待っている間の不安は、ガイドの方の日本語で吹き飛びました。参加者も全員日本人で、しかも陽気な良い方ばかりでさらに安心！
1時間の車内は、ガイドのジュリー（元気な日本女性）のトークで飽きないし、天気も良くて船も揺れが少なくて、ハワイ西海岸の景色を満喫しました。イルカも亀も熱帯魚もたっぷりと見れて、感動・興奮！
スタッフ達も陽気なだけじゃなく、キチンと安全をキープしてくれてて、安心出来ました。
大体なんでも、1度で満足する自分が、また参加したいと思いました。
