This year marks our third consecutive trip to Hawaii in September. During our last visit, we participated in a tour to swim with dolphins, and this time we were eager to swim with wild dolphins again, so we joined the "Dolphin School."

Last time, we went on a tour called "Ryugu..." but this time it's "Dolphin School." The main difference is the type of boat. It's a significant difference, like comparing a cruiser to a boat. If you're looking for a leisurely resort vibe, "Ryugu..." might be the choice. But if you want to go fast and have an exciting experience, then "Dolphin School" is the way to go! Not only do you get to meet dolphins, but you can also enjoy riding on a speedboat, which allows for quick maneuvers and speed. You can swim with the dolphins multiple times, something that's not possible on a cruiser.

Dolphins are really fast! So, I realized that moving by boat makes a lot of sense. We swim hard together, but of course, we get left behind (T^T). So, we often circle back in front of the dolphin pod, wait for them, and swim together when they come! If we get left behind, we hop back on the boat and get taken back to the front of the dolphin pod again. Then we swim together again! It sounds busy, but it’s not as hectic as it seems. It’s fun, and we end up putting in quite a bit of effort.

In the latter part of the trip, we relaxed while snorkeling at a spot with tropical fish.

Here, we could swim alongside sea turtles that were gliding leisurely, and it was effortless to enjoy their company. They were quite large and adorable. Plus, the water was so clear that we could see divers diving right below us. It was such an interesting sight that I took some photos.

I highly recommend that everyone join and gain this experience! It's a must-try! (^^)

今年で３回連続の９月を使ってのハワイ旅行。
前回ハワイを訪れた際も、イルカと泳ぐツアーに参加した私たちでしたが、今回もぜひ野生のイルカと一緒に泳ぎたい！！と、このい「いるか中学」に参加しました。

前回は、「龍宮･･･」って言うツアーに参加したんですが、今回は「いるか中学」。
何が違うかというと、ボートが違います。
ここは大きな違いで、クルーザーかボートか、みたいな。
ゆっくりリゾート気分なら「龍宮･･･」かな。
いきおい良くバンバン行きたいなら「いるか中学」！
イルカに会うだけじゃなく、スピードボートの乗船でも楽しめるし、小回りやスピード、停船の早さ、クルーザーでは不可能な行動力でイルカに何度も一緒に泳げます。

イルカって動きが早い！！
だから、ボートで動くって利にかなってるなと実感しました。
とにかく一緒に頑張って泳ぐんだけど、もちろん置いて行かれます(T^T)
だから、何度もイルカの群れの前に回りこみ、そこで待ち伏せし、イルカが来たら一緒に泳ぐ！！
置いて行かれたら、ボートに再度乗り込み、またもやイルカの群れの前に連れて行ってもらいます。
で、また一緒に泳ぐ！
みたいな。
忙しく聞こえますが、実際そこまで忙しくはありません。
楽しくって結構頑張っちゃいます。

後半は熱帯魚のいるポイントでゆったりシュノーケル。

ここには、海亀がゆったり泳いでいるので、頑張ることなく一緒に泳げます。
けっこう大きくて可愛いです。
しかも、透明度がいいので、真下でダイビングしているダイバー達を目視できちゃいます。
その光景が面白かったので写真撮っちゃいました。

We participated with our family at the end of August!

Among the many dolphin tours, we chose Private Dolphin Middle School because the start time was late and it seemed easy to enter the water with the speedboat. The lack of information about meal times made it seem like meeting dolphins and turtles was the primary goal. And our expectations were spot on! It’s rare for things to go just as you hope, but this plan allowed us to play to our heart's content☆

Now, about the dolphins, on the day I participated, we were able to swim with them while they were playing in the shallow waters. At first, they seemed to be in a group, but then they split into two. I stayed with the smaller group, and they swam leisurely while playing, coming so close that I could almost touch them if I reached out! However, when they decided to swim fast, they were incredibly quick, and it was over in an instant as they returned to the open sea.

I was completely satisfied to have swum with the dolphins! After that, we moved to the sea where the turtles live. Here, we experienced another amazing moment!!! Swimming with the turtles was also incredibly wonderful. In terms of relaxation, I might even think that turtles are more soothing than dolphins... I felt like I caught a glimpse of the Dragon Palace.

Even now (September 11), I’m still soaking in the wonderful experience. Even though I just returned, I’m already thinking about participating again if I visit! (*^_^*)

８月末に家族で参加しました！

数あるイルカツアーの中で、私立イルカ中学を選んだのは、開始時間が遅い事と、スピードボートでしかも海に入り易そうな形であった事。食事時間等が書いてなくイルカやかめに合う事が第一目的に思えた事でした。
そしてその予想は大的中！！思った通りって実は中々ないのですが、「こうだったらいいのになっ」と言うプランで、思う存分遊ばせて頂きました☆

さてさて、問題(笑)のイルカですが、私が参加した日も、浅瀬で遊んでいて、一緒に泳ぐ事が出来ました。
最初は、群れていたようですが、途中で二手に分かれました。私は少ないイルカについていたのですが、彼らは遊びながらゆったり泳いでくれて、手を伸ばせばあたっちゃう！と思うほどの距離まで近づく事もありました(*^_^*)
でもやはり本気になったら早い早い(笑)沖に戻って行くのはあっという間でした。

イルカと泳げた事で大満足！のうえ今度はカメを見に、カメのお家のある海まで移動。
ここでまた新たな感動が！！！カメと泳ぐ事もとってもとっても素敵です。癒しの要素で言えば、イルカよりもカメの方が断然上かもしれない・・・なんて思ってしまったりして☆
竜宮城を垣間見た気持ちになりました。

今（９月１１日）になっても、まだ余韻に浸るほどの、素晴らしさ。
また訪れたら絶対参加したいと、帰ったばかりなのにもう思ってます(*^_^*)

My first experience with dolphins was so much fun!! イルカ初体験、楽しかった！！

Since I was scheduled to arrive in Hawaii around 10 AM, I looked for tours available in the afternoon and decided to go to Sea Life Park. Unfortunately, I wasn't sure if I could make it in time for the shuttle bus, so I went there on my own. I checked the schedule for THE BUS routes 22 and 23 (some of which do not go to Sea Life Park) and the trolley's Blue Line online. It's best to allow about an hour for travel.

We took the 22 bus from the bus stop in front of the Waikiki Trade Center. You pay $2 (no change given) when you get on. Then, we headed to the park while enjoying views of Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head.

It felt like a relatively small and old-style marine park. After checking in at the entrance, we went inside and checked in again for the dolphin experience tour at the merchandise area deep in the aquarium. Japanese is not widely understood, and the English spoken has a strong accent that makes it hard to catch everything. After the explanation, we moved with our belongings to the dolphin pool. It was fine not to rent a locker.

Once we reached the dolphin pool, there was about 5-6 minutes of explanation in English, alongside a few broken explanations for Japanese visitors. Then, we put on life jackets and placed our belongings and towels at the poolside before entering the dolphin pool. The dolphin trainers spoke relatively good Japanese, so it was manageable. After that, we just enjoyed ourselves. Since we chose the adventure option, we swam while holding onto the dolphins' fins. They touched us and jumped in response to our signals...

Afterward, we took our belongings to the outdoor shower and changing room. We waited for about 40 minutes for the photos of us kissing the dolphins to be ready for purchase. They were about $13 each. It was expensive, but we ended up buying them anyway! The return buses in the evening came every 20-30 minutes.

私たちはワイキキトレードセンター前のバス停から２２番のバスにのりました。前からのってはじめに２ドル（おつりなし）はらいます。それからワイキキビーチやダイアモンドヘッドをみながら現地へ。
わりと小さくて古いカンジの水旅園ってカンジです。入り口でチェックインしてから中にはいり、水族園奥のグッズ売り場の中でもう一度イルカの体験ツアーのチェックイン。日本語はあまり通じません。英語もクセがあって聞き取りにくいです。説明のあと、イルカのプールまで荷物をもって移動。ロッカー借りなくても大丈夫でした。
　イルカプールについてから、英語の説明５～６分している横で日本人むけにカタコトの説明が５つほど。それからライフジャケットをつけて荷物やタオルをプールサイドにおいてイルカプールへ。イルカの調教師の人たちは比較的日本語使ってくれるので平気です。あとは楽しむだけ。私たちはアドベンチャーだったので仰向けのイルカの手につかまって泳ぎました。タッチしたり私たちの合図にあわせてジャンプしてくれたり・・・。
　終わったあとは荷物もって屋外にあるシャワーと更衣室へ。４０分まってイルカとキスしている写真ができあがり購入。一枚１３ドルくらいです。高いけどやっぱり買っちゃいました！！帰りの夕方のバスは２～３０分ごとでした。

At 6 AM, a bus came to pick us up, and after about an hour of dozing off while swaying, we got ready and boarded the boat. As we set off, just a little offshore, we already spotted dolphins! After a few more minutes of traveling, we discovered a pod of dolphins!

Participants jumped into the sea one after another, wearing masks and fins, and we could hear the dolphins' calls. Although the dolphins were faster and kept a bit of distance, it was my first time desperately chasing after a dolphin swimming right below me. It was completely different from the dolphins at an aquarium and definitely worth seeing.

It might be a good idea to bring a larger bath towel. The water temperature was a bit low in the morning, and while the boat ride was fun and fast, it was cold on the way back. The snack set provided in a bag was very tasty and came in handy.

In the afternoon, we headed out to the North Shore and enjoyed the Tantalus night view.

水族館のイルカとは全く違うし、一見の価値ありです。
大き目のバスタオルを持参した方がいいかも。水温は朝だからちょっと低いし、ボートはスピードがあって楽しいけど
帰りは寒かったな。
バッグ毎くれた軽食セットがとてもおいしく重宝しました。

It was my first experience, and I participated with some anxiety, but it was a very satisfying tour. I definitely want to join again. However, there were no explanations in Japanese, and everything was in English, so those who don't understand English might feel anxious. You can manage by mimicking what others do, but... The bus driver on the way there was driving too fast. I was surprised that the bus was different on the way back.

初めての体験で不安ありながらの参加でしたが、大満足のツアーでした。是非また参加したいと思います。
ただ、日本語での説明がなく全て英語だったので英語が分からない方は不安になるかもしれないです。
見よう見真似でもなんとかなりますが・・・
行きのバスの運転手は飛ばしすぎです。帰りは、バスが違っててびっくりしました。

Shortly after setting sail, we received news of dolphins! Although there were only a few, it was touching to see a mother and her baby swimming closely together (nursing?). When we hurried to chase them, they quickly swam away, but when we swam slowly, we could see their relaxed姿 up close. Later, at the turtle house we visited, there were about five or six sea turtles of various sizes resting, and they would occasionally come up for air, getting so close that we had to dodge to avoid bumping into them. For those who have never snorkeled before, practicing a bit beforehand will make the experience even more enjoyable. If anyone is heading to Hawaii, I highly recommend this tour.

　出航して早々にイルカ出現！の報せ。数は少なかったが親子で寄り添って（授乳？）泳ぐ姿が見られて感動。あせって追いかけると向こうも速いスピードで逃げていくけれど、ゆったりと泳ぐと彼らのリラックスした姿も間近に見られる。そのあと観にいった亀ハウスには大小５~６頭のウミガメが休んでいて、時々息継ぎに浮かんでくると急接近してぶつからないようにこっちが身をかわすほどだった。シュノーケリングをしたことがない人は、少しでも練習してから行くとより楽しめる。これからハワイに行く人がいたら、ぜひすすめたいツアーだ。

The day before, my husband was down with a sunburn, so I participated alone, but the staff and the other participants were all warm and friendly, which made it enjoyable.

I was a bit anxious because I had severe seasickness during the shark tour the day before, but this tour's boat felt like a rafting boat, allowing us to enjoy a bit of thrill while heading out to sea. I didn't feel sick at all and had a great time.

There were so many dolphins swimming right in front of us, jumping around, and I was so excited! This time, the dolphins were swimming really fast... I wished they would swim a bit slower... The staff lamented, but when we timed it right and jumped into the water, there were so many dolphins swimming below us! It was incredibly moving.

I dove three times and saw dolphins each time. For the fourth dive, we went to a sea turtle spot. The turtles were swimming leisurely right nearby! They came close enough that I could reach out and touch them. I think there were about six of them. It was very mystical.

When I told my husband about it, he regretted not being able to join. I definitely want to participate again the next time I go to Hawaii! I will be a repeat customer! Thank you very much.

　前々日にサメツアーに参加した時、船酔いがひどかったので少し不安はあったのですが、このツアーのボートはラフテリングボートのような感じで少しスリルを味わいながら海に出たので、全然酔わずに、楽しかったです。
　イルカが目の前でたくさん泳いでいてジャンピングしている姿に大興奮！今回はイルカの泳ぐスピードが早い…もっとゆっくり泳いで~…とスタッフが嘆いていたのですが、タイミングと場所を見計らってドボンッと海の中へ入ると、下にいっぱいイルカが泳いでいる！！大感激でした。
　３回ダイブして全部イルカが見れました。
　４回目には海亀スポットへ。悠々と泳いでいる姿がすぐそこに！手を伸ばせばすぐ触れるぐらいの所まで海亀がきてくれました。６匹ぐらいはいたと思います。とても神秘的でした。
　旦那にも話をすると行けなかった事をすごく悔やんでいました。また次にハワイに行ったらぜひ参加したいと思います！！リピーターになります！！

I participated with my 1 year and 6 month old child this time. I made a reservation online and brought a printed copy, which made me a bit anxious thinking, "Is that all?" but there were no problems, and we were able to enter right away.

We rented a car from the hotel and arrived in just under an hour. It was nice that we could stop by nearby shopping centers and places like Costco. However, please note that parking fees are separate at the park.

The staff can speak a little Japanese, and each person had a fresh experience touching the dolphins up close and taking commemorative photos.

The session lasted 45 minutes, and we had a lot of fun. The experience involved touching the dolphins, giving commands like "GO" or "spin" (though it was actually under the instructor's guidance), and watching them jump right in front of us.

A few photos cost around $30, and the DVD was about $39. Since the photos were taken up close, almost everyone purchased them. I think it's a good idea to include this cost in your budget.

時間も45分と長く、かなり楽しめました。
体験は、イルカを触る。
みんなでイルカにGOや回転などの指示を与える（ようにしているだけで、実際はインストラクター指示）
目の前でジャンプを見るなどです。

写真数枚で＄３０程度
DVD＄３９程度だったと思います。
でも間近でとられたものなので、ほぼ全員購入していました。
この費用も予算に入れておいた方がよいと思います。

I participated in a tour on July 8th. For my fifth and third-grade daughters, it was their first overseas trip, and amidst some anxiety, we finally got to meet wild dolphins, which had been our dream!

After reading various comments, I decided on this optional tour, but I had many concerns about whether my children, who had never snorkeled before, would really enjoy it... However, I called ahead to confirm, and their kind response put my mind at ease. We made sure to get enough sleep the night before, and with preparations like motion sickness medication, sunscreen, and measures against the cold after getting out of the water, the kids didn't feel burdened. We practiced snorkeling at Waikiki Beach the day before.

The staff taught us how to prevent fogging on the snorkels, how to put them on, and when to wear them, and since we wore life vests in the water, there was no worry about drowning.

On July 8th, we first snorkeled in a spot where colorful fish gathered, and we even encountered a turtle there. I was surprised that while snorkeling, my younger daughter was casually saying, "Ah! A turtle! Gill! Dory! Bubbles!" (Has she watched FINDING NEMO too much??). When we moved to the turtle point, a strangely-shaped turtle was swimming quite close to us. There was only one, but it seems my daughters touched its shell... Later, I told them, "You shouldn't touch it because it won't come back to the point." I'm sorry.

At the point where the dolphin pod was gathered, many boats were clustered. 5年生と3年生の娘たちにとっては初めての海外旅行で不安の中、念願の野生のイルカとの対面を果たしました！

いろいろな方のコメントを読み、このオプショナルに決めましたが、シュノーケル未体験の子供たちが本当に楽しめるのか沢山の不安が・・・
でも、出発前に電話をして確認し、親切な対応に一安心。
前の日に睡眠をとっていて、酔い止めや日焼け止めや海からあがってからの寒さ対策などの用意があれば子供たちに負担はかかりませんでしたよ。ウチはシュノーケルは前日にワイキキビーチで練習しました。
スタッフの方がシュノーケルのくもり止めやくもらないつけ方・着けるタイミングなども教えてくれますし、海での中ではベスト着用ですので、溺れる心配はありません。

7月8日は・・まず色とりどりの魚の集まる場所でシュノーケル、ここでカメにも出会いました。
シュノーケルしてるのに下の娘が「あ゛っ~カメ！ギル！ドリー！バブルス！がいる！！」（ＦＩＮＤＩＮＧ　ＮＩＭＯの観すぎ？？）と普通にしゃべっているのにも驚きました。
カメのポイントに移動すると甲羅の歪なカメが相当近くで泳いでいました。一匹でしたが娘たちは甲羅に触ったらしく・・後で「ポイントに来なくなるから触ったらいけないよ」と伝えました。ごめんなさい。
イルカ集団が集まっているポイントにはたくさんの船が集まっていました。

I have dived before, but this was my first time swimming with dolphins! After about an hour's drive from the hotel, we got on the boat... and then we spotted a pod of dolphins!! Once we entered the water, we were surprised to hear the dolphins' cries after a while. They came close to us, and I was so moved. It was really fun. We moved to another spot and even got to see some turtles!

The staff were great, and it was a fun and friendly atmosphere where we could relax and enjoy the ocean! I think beginners would be fine here too~! I was also happy to receive a bag that had water and snacks in it♪ It's a bag that seems perfect for the beach~★

I want to go back to Hawaii and meet the dolphins again.

We were able to see a pod of dolphins right after departing on the boat. The baby dolphin and the mother dolphin were really cute. It was my first time snorkeling, so I was a bit scared at first, but I quickly got used to it and was able to enjoy it. Also, the sea turtles were large, which surprised me. The clarity of the water was amazing, and it was really beautiful. The sight of fish swimming attached to the shell of the sea turtle was truly stunning.

I participated in a spiritual tour.

After about an hour's drive from Waikiki, we arrived at the dock where we were each given a snorkeling set and a life jacket.

そこから１０数名程度乗れるボートに乗り換えますが、
私が行ったときは満員で、旦那はボートのヘリに座るように指示されていました（笑

そこから出発です！ハワイの風が心地よくて、「ハワイ最高~☆」ってな気分です。

昨日イルカが現れたというポイントまで船を走らせますが、そこにはイルカおらず。。
しばらくあっちへこっちへ移動してもイルカがいなかったので、先に海がめを見ようということになり、シュノーケリングをしました。

海がめいっぱいいました。３匹くらいいっぺんに見ることができて、感激でした。

そこからまたイルカを探すのですが、行けど行けどイルカが見つからず（涙

今日はイルカは見られなかったとのことで、残念ながら船着場に戻ることになりました。。

本当に残念です。私もイルカと泳ぎたかったー。

帰るときにスタッフの人に「イルカに会えなくてごめんね」と言われましたが、生き物なので致し方ないですね。

次のハワイのテーマになりました。


皆さんが言うように、水につかった後に船に乗るとかなり寒いので、ウィンドブレーカーみたいなのを持っていくとよいなと思いました。

I had a great time.
There were large groups of dolphins swimming so close that I felt I could touch them.
The ocean was incredibly beautiful, unlike anything I've ever seen before, and I was amazed.
There were also many colorful fish, which was mystical.

Recently, my wife and I participated in a dolphin watching tour. We've been on several tours before, but this one was exceptional. First of all, it was a small group (only nine people), and the staff were very kind.

We were lucky that day; within about 3 to 4 minutes of boarding the boat, we encountered dolphins! There were no other tour groups around, and we got to enjoy the sight of 30 to 40 dolphins all to ourselves! The dolphins were swimming in circles in the same area, allowing us to get close multiple times. It was truly moving.

After the dolphin snorkeling, I thought that was the end, but we changed locations for snorkeling with turtles. This was also an incredible experience. Even if you don't get to see dolphins, I believe it's still worth it. Since it's a nature-based tour, there's no guarantee of seeing dolphins, but I recommend trusting your luck and giving it a try.

The sea might be a bit cold, so I suggest wearing a rash guard and bringing a jacket that you don't mind getting wet for the boat ride.

先日、嫁と二人で参加。今までいくつかイルカウォッチングツアーに参加して来ましたが、別格でした。まず少人数制で（今回は９名）スタッフがとても親切。
この日は運が良かったのか、日頃の行いがいいからか、船に乗って約３~４分ですぐにイルカと遭遇！まわりに他のツアーの人もいなくて、３０~４０頭のイルカを９名で独占！イルカ達は同じ当りをぐるぐる回って泳いでいて、何度も接近することが出来ました。感動です。
また、イルカとのシュノーケンリングが終わり、おしまいかなと思ったら、ポイントを変えて亀とのシュノーケリング。
こちらでも又感動。もしイルカにあえなくても十分価値があると思います。自然相手のツアーなのでイルカと合えるかどうかは、100％ではないと思うけど、日頃の行いを信じ是非参加してみては･･･お薦めです。
若干海が冷たいかもしれないので、ラッシュなど着て、船で羽織れるパーカーなど濡れても良いものを持っていくことをお薦めします。

I have participated in dolphin tours with other companies multiple times, but this was the first time I was able to swim so leisurely with the dolphins. Since it’s a small group, we were able to take our time. Thanks to that, I could swim among the pod of dolphins and felt like I was included with them. It was truly moving—an unforgettable memory for a lifetime. Moreover, I was so happy to hear the dolphins' chatter with my own ears.

Also, the staff member, Yuriko, is wonderful and can communicate with the dolphins, which might be why we encountered so many of them.

The captain and staff are attentive, providing an excellent sense of privacy and safety. Everyone is kind, and their Japanese is great, making our conversations very enjoyable.

Oh, and the snorkeling gear and the boat were clean and well-maintained.

By the way, I usually get seasick, but I didn’t feel sick at all! The boat rides like it's jumping over the waves, making it feel like an attraction, which was so much fun.

They also provided a bag with snacks like donuts, treats, and water at the beginning, so it was nice to eat whenever I wanted without worrying.

If you want to swim slowly with dolphins, this is definitely the place to go!! I have participated in many other companies' wild dolphin swimming tours, but this is the first time I was able to swim leisurely with dolphins to my heart's content☆ When I was among the pod of dolphins, it truly felt like a dream. Even when the dolphins swam away, we didn’t chase them; instead, we waited for them to come back♪ The dolphins came back to us multiple times. That was probably thanks to our guide, Yuriko. Yuriko is such a fascinating person. She swims with the dolphins as if she is having a conversation with them, and it seems the dolphins enjoy swimming with her too. The other staff members were marine biologists, so they were very knowledgeable about marine life. And their Japanese was excellent! They made our conversations enjoyable.

And of course, it’s not just about the dolphins. They also take you to the Dragon Palace. Initially, we went to the waters of Makaha, but the day we went, the waves were high and the visibility wasn’t great. So, they changed the destination. They said there weren’t many waves near the power plant, so we headed there instead. As promised, it was a beautiful spot where we could see plenty of fish and even swim with turtles. It was nice that they adjusted to the situation like that.

Departing directly by bus from the meeting point near the Waikiki accommodation, we enjoyed views of Diamond Head, the Kahala area, Hanauma Bay, and Sandy Beach along the way, arriving in about 30 minutes. There were Japanese staff members near the reception and at various points, which was reassuring.

This time, I participated in the Royal Swim. The program involved being pulled by the dorsal fins of two dolphins and a foot push program, which both seemed challenging and made me anxious about whether I could do it. However, when I waited in the posture that was explained to me beforehand, the dolphins smartly and perfectly coordinated their movements to pull and push me with great balance. It felt like the dolphins were playing with me, and I was once again impressed by their intelligence.

予め教えていただいた姿勢で待っているとイルカちゃんは、
賢く、しっかりとバランス良く２頭の息もぴったりと
ひっぱり、押してくれました。　イルカちゃんに
逆に遊んでもらっているようで、改めて賢さに脱帽でした。
帰りに今日のふれあいの写真とＤＶＤはちょっと高めですが、写りはバッチリで記念になります。
これだけイルカちゃんとふれあう機会は日本では

Last year during my trip to Hawaii, I did a dolphin swim with a different tour. That experience was so wonderful that I wanted to do it again this year, so I searched for a tour and found this incredibly affordable one, which I decided to join. Honestly, I was worried about the quality compared to the previous tour since it was much cheaper, but... those worries were completely unnecessary (laughs). On the contrary, it was so much better than the previous tour!! Anyway, the time spent swimming with the dolphins was long!! As a huge dolphin lover, this was the most delightful aspect for me.

Waianae, located at the western tip of Oahu, is about an hour's drive from Waikiki and is a truly quiet and beautiful place with untouched nature and few tourists. Along the way, we were shown some small sightseeing spots, so it wasn't boring at all. Moreover, the hotel pickup time was about an hour later than the previous tour, making the morning much easier. But the content of the tour was more fulfilling than the previous one. The warm hospitality from the local staff, including our tour guide Yuriko, who speaks Japanese well, was truly healing. There was also a professional photographer who took pictures during the tour, and we could buy those photos later, making it perfect for creating memories.

Maybe it was a lucky day, but we encountered a pod of over 100 dolphins, and there were dolphins everywhere we looked!! I was so excited, it was overwhelming!! Dolphins were jumping all around!! They also took us to a sea turtle spot, and I was able to touch a turtle for the first time. And it happened twice!! This was my fifth time in Hawaii, but it was my first visit to Sea Life Park. I had participated in dolphin watching tours before, but this tour was incredibly satisfying. I was able to see, touch, and even kiss the dolphins up close. At first, I thought, "This is a bit expensive," but considering the experience I had, I felt it was worth it. The staff hardly spoke any Japanese at all. They talked about the precautions when interacting with the dolphins, but I understood very little. Most of the participants were American, and I managed to follow along by mimicking them. One thing I learned was that you should not touch the dolphins' eyes. I was a bit confused at times, but the dolphins were so adorable. It made me feel very happy. Next time I go to Hawaii, I want to have even more experiences at Sea Life Park.

５回目のハワイでしたが初めてシーライフパークに行きました。以前にもイルカを見るツアーなどに参加した事がありましたがこのツアーは大満足でした。まじかにイルカを見れ、触れ、キスまで・・・。最初は”少し高いなー”と思っていましたがこれだけの体験をできるなら安いと思いました。飼育係りの方は全くと言うくらい日本語はできません。イルカと接する注意点などを話していましたがほとんど解りませんでした。参加者もほとんどアメリカ系の人でその人達の見よう見真似で何とかなりました。一つ解った事はイルカの目に触れてはいけないという事くらいでした。色々戸惑いましたがやはりイルカはとっても可愛かったです。とても幸せな気分になりました。今度ハワイに行ったらシーライフパークでもっと色々な体験をしてみたいです。

I participated in a course without pickup service, but it was no problem since I just had to show my voucher. I joined the Royal Swim, but perhaps due to the off-peak season, there were only five participants, including myself. Most of the others were from foreign countries like Australia and Canada, and since I was the only Japanese person, I felt a bit lonely. The female instructor initially said, "I can speak a little Japanese, so it's okay," but the only things she actually said in Japanese were "My name is ~" and "Are you okay?" along with "belly button," while the rest of the explanations were all in English. With my English skills, I could only understand about 30% of what was said, but since I watched a Japanese video beforehand, I had no particular issues swimming along.

水温は確かに冷たいですがしばらくすると慣れて来ます。でも水からあがると寒くて震えてしまいました。以前の書き込みで更衣室が二つしかないと書かれていましたが、実際は沢山あったので、待つことなくすぐに着替えられました。
お値段は高いですが貴重な体験ができるのでおすすめです

I participated in the Dolphin Encounter with my 5-year-old son. We checked in at the guest counter inside Seaside Park. There were Japanese staff members, which made me, as a beginner, feel at ease.

We put on life vests and listened to a brief explanation from the trainer (in English) before heading straight to the pool. There were about 20 participants.

First, we were allowed to touch the dolphin's back and belly. My son was a bit hesitant at first, but he gradually got used to it. Following the trainer's instructions, the dolphin gave me a kiss on my cheek and lips. It was my first time interacting with a dolphin so closely, and I was truly moved.

The experience lasted about 45 minutes, but it didn't feel short at all. At the end, they were selling photos of us being kissed by the dolphin and DVDs. Sadly, we ended up buying them as a keepsake...

Even though we made a last-minute reservation, I appreciate Alan for handling everything properly. The phone call to confirm the reservation was a bit amusing (laughs).

まずイルカの背中とお腹を触らせてくれます。息子も最初はおそるおそるでしたが、次第になれてきました。
トレーナーの指示で、イルカが私のほっぺたとくちびるにキス。こんな間近でイルカとふれあうことは初めてなので、感動してしまいました。
時間は４５分程度でしたが、短いとは感じませんでした。
最後はイルカにキスされている写真とＤＶＤを販売していました。悲しいかな、思い出として買ってしまう我々・・・
直前の予約でしたが、きちんと対応いただきアランさんには感謝しています。予約確認の電話対応がちょっと笑えました（笑）

I was a bit nervous at first since I went without a shuttle, but when I showed my voucher at the reception, they provided a Japanese guide and also told me the most efficient way to see the shows available at that time (in English).

On January 8th, I participated with my middle school and elementary school children. The event started at 1:00 PM, and we were to gather by 11:50 AM. That morning, we had hiked up Diamond Head, so I was a bit sleepy.
