I have always wanted to see dolphins out in the wild and swim with them in the open ocean. I have heard of the tours where travellers are offered to swim with dolphins in the pool, but this is a completely different experience. We have travelled to several snorkelling spots before our speed boat started to make its way to a place where Hawaiian spinner dolphins are usually resting. Our captain was funny and enthusiastic, he also had a cute dog called Kiki – everyone on the boat just fell in love with her! After we spotted a group of dolphins we observed them from the boat for about 20 minutes and then decided to jump in the water. Our captain knew exactly what needs to be done in order to get the best experience possible. He told us to stay calm and jump quietly in the water and wait for the dolphins to approach us. Emotions I felt that day are hard to describe, I was crying from happiness, laughing and was completely overwhelmed with the beauty of these magical creatures. I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone who is visiting Oahu and looking to have a memorable experience and fun.

We participated with two children and two adults. Overall, we were satisfied, but during the dolphin interaction, we were split into two groups, and the other group seemed to have children who were able to get closer to the dolphins (perhaps there was a platform in the pool for small children?). The photos taken, which often feature only the children, were more common in that group, and I felt that group was better. I think it depends on the trainer's instructions, so it might be a matter of luck. Before the activity started, the explanations were handled by Japanese staff for Japanese participants, so I had no particular concerns. The trainer could speak a little simple Japanese and communicated with us in simple English and occasionally in Japanese while we interacted with the dolphins, so there were no issues.

概ね満足だったのですが、イルカと握手したりする際、現地で2グループに分かれるのですが、もう一方のグループの方が子供がより近くにイルカと触れ合えており(プールの中に小さな子供立てるような台があったのか？)、よくこちらの広告画像でも見られるような、子供だけが写るように写真撮影されており、そちらのグループがよかったなと思いました。トレーナーさんの指示によると思うので運次第なのかと思います。始まるまでの説明等は、日本人の場合は日本人スタッフの方が担当しており、特に不安はありません。トレーナーさんは簡単な日本語は少しできる方で、イルカと触れ合っている間も簡単な英語と時折日本語で話してくれるので、特に問題なくできました。

I participated in late November.

いざイルカと対面する際、水の水位が高く、160㎝の私で、胸下ぐらいあったので、３歳の子供は大人が抱っこしていないと駄目でした。
近くまで来てくれるのは可愛いのですが、子供にとっても恐怖のみ、始終泣いてしまいました（笑）
もう少し大きくなってからが良かったかもです。
小さいお子さんには、ドルフィンタッチで十分だと思いました。

I participated in a tour at Dolphin Middle School in April.

The weather and sea conditions were great, so I was excited to join. Before we spotted any dolphins, we were able to see several sea turtles coming up to the surface from the boat. After a while, we found a pod of dolphins, put on the rented wetsuits, and started snorkeling. We were able to see about 50 wild dolphins. Although they were a bit far away, the water was so clear that I was glad to see them.

At a different location during our second snorkeling session, I was able to see two sea turtles, and I’m really glad I participated. I would love to join again.

When it finally became my turn, a friend of theirs came over and started talking to the staff. At the snorkeling spot afterward, I was lucky enough to meet a turtle, and thanks to the crew's service, I even got to interact with an octopus (laughs).

We went as a family of five with our first grader, our kindergartner, and our one-year-old daughter.

Our kindergartner was really looking forward to this program because he loves animals. Before we left, I was a bit worried that he might get scared when he saw the dolphins up close or become shy, but not at all! He enjoyed it thoroughly without being scared, staying at just the right distance (he might have been nervous if he had to get into the pool).

I heard that some kids his age who participated in the same program were scared, and those kids only got to feed the dolphins three times. However, the little ones who were really excited got to feed them more than usual as a special treat.

My first grader joined a program where he could interact with the dolphins in the pool, but he found that the program for younger kids was much more satisfying! I definitely recommend that one!

However, since we were facing backward, it's better to purchase the three good shots taken by a professional photographer. They were taking pictures in specified poses, like kissing the dolphin. The water seemed cold. When we got out, the child said it was very cold. Overall, I felt the price was a bit high, but we had a decent amount of fun. 今回、乗客がみんな元気なほうだったのか、インストラクターの人が5回も海に潜らせてくれました。こんなこと、めったにないと言われたので、平均的には3回くらい潜らせてもらえるのかな？
4回目の潜りで疲れて、船の2階に上がって休憩していると、今度は船の周りにイルカがたくさん寄ってきました！しかも走行している船の真ん前をイルカの親子が一緒に泳いでいるのを見つけて、見知らぬ隣のおばちゃんとキャーキャー騒いでいました（笑）船の2階も舐めたもんじゃないです！
このツアーでは、インストラクターさんがイルカを見つけては船で近寄って、ツアーに参加している私たちをイルカに会わせようと必死に努力してくれました。そこが熱血的で良かったなぁ。
この日、波がかなり高く、船酔いするひとも見かけたので、舐めてかからないほうがいいです。酔いやすいひとは朝ごはんも食べないほうがいいと思います。パートナーが朝ごはんを食べて、船酔いして惨事になってしまったので、、苦笑
私は三半規管が強いので、このツアーを思いっきり楽しめました！！素敵なツアーをありがとう！
今度はもっともっと近くでイルカが見れることを祈って、参加します！

There were about five staff members, including a funny photographer. The staff were friendly, and I'm glad I participated in this tour. My mother had trouble using the snorkel and said she couldn't breathe in the water, so I think it would be reassuring for first-time snorkelers to receive detailed instructions before entering the ocean. Next time I go to Hawaii, I would like to participate in Dolphin University as well! The waters of Hawaii were truly beautiful.

I came to Hawaii for the first time and was enjoying myself in Waikiki. Then I participated in a tour at Dolphin School and felt like I encountered what I was looking for in Hawaii. Waikiki is also a lot of fun, but for those who want to see the true face of Hawaii, I definitely recommend participating.

It was my first dolphin and snorkeling tour. Honestly, I was worried about whether I would really see them, even though I had seen pictures before departure. During the bus ride to the boat, the fun staff provided a great briefing, and once on board, the captain and crew made sure there were plenty of enjoyable events unique to Hawaii!

As for the dolphins... we received a notification about a dolphin sighting as soon as we boarded, and the snorkeling began! I was thrilled to be so close to the dolphins.

However, the wetsuit was too tight, which made me feel seasick... If you think the wetsuit might be tight, be sure to request a larger size right away. (laughs)

We also got to see whales and turtles, making it the best tour ever. I want to participate again!

初めてのイルカとシュノーケリングツアーでした。
出発前は正直写真では見ているものの本当に見れるのか心配で出発しました。
乗船前の移動中のバスの中から楽しいスタッフの方のレクチャーがあり、いざ船に乗ってからも楽しい船長含めクルーの方々とハワイならではの楽しいイベントが盛りだくさん！
本題のイルカは。。。乗るとすぐにイルカ発見の連絡があり、いざシュノーケリングスタート！間近にいるイルカに大興奮でした。

ただ、、、ウェットスーツがきつすぎて船酔いに。。。
ウェットスーツはきついかもと思ったらすぐに大きいのに変更要望を出しましょう。笑

クジラにカメも見ることができ最高のツアーでした。

In the end, it seemed we shifted from dolphin watching to whale watching that day, and the staff even said it was their first time seeing such whales, but it was all from the boat. I didn't even have the energy to get up.

That day, quite a few people were dealing with seasickness... ^ ^ Even the foreign passengers were getting seasick (I've never seen foreign tourists get seasick on diving trips), so it must have been pretty bad... The worst off were those who lay down the entire time without ever getting in the water...

起き上がる気力もありませんでした。

その日は結構な人数がバケツのお世話に…^ ^
同乗の外国人も船酔いしてたので(ダイビングなどでも外国人の船酔いって見たことない)よっぽどなのかなと…
ヒドイ人は一度も海に入ることなく最初から最後まで横になってました。。。

There were Japanese staff members, so I was able to enjoy the experience without any inconvenience. I was worried about seasickness, but I was fine; however, a few people seemed to be feeling unwell. The staff were very attentive and offered advice like, "It's good to drink around this time on the bus," so for those who are concerned, I think it's better to take something. However, since the boat will sway, I believe seasickness is a personal responsibility. Also, since it was February, it was a bit chilly, and I rented a wetsuit separately, which was a good decision. By the afternoon, it warmed up with the sunlight, so it wasn't an issue. I was surprised to see the dolphins at a closer distance than I expected. I was really happy because I didn't think I would get to see them so up close. Moreover, I got to jump in several times, not just once. At the end, we were able to go snorkeling near the port. It seemed to be quite warm that day, and even though we went a little over time, we were able to see a lot. Above all, all the staff were kind, and their dedication was evident. I definitely want to participate again when I come back to Hawaii. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

きました。またハワイに来たら是非参加したいと思いました。素敵な思い出をありがとうございました！
