The dolphins are incredibly cute, so just watching them feels like a waste. Also, the scenery of the coastline around the Sea Life Park was very beautiful.

イルカがものすごく可愛いので、見るだけではもったいないです。それとシーライフパークの周辺海岸の景色がとても綺麗でした。

We sailed while searching for spots with wild dolphins and went into the water about three times. I was surprised to see more dolphins than I expected! It's so cute to see them swimming in groups. I recommend bringing an underwater camera!

The water was colder than I thought, so I think it's better to rent a wetsuit. By the end, I was shivering (laughs).

The return boat ride was fun as we sang and danced together!

After it was over, we received a small gift at the office.

It was a fun tour!

野生のイルカがいるスポットを探しながら船を進んで行き、３回くらい海へ入りました。
予想以上にイルカを見ることができてびっくり！
群になって泳いでいるのがすごく可愛いです。
水中カメラを持っていくのがオススメです！

思っていたよりも水が冷たく、ウェットスーツがレンタルできるのでした方がいいと思います。
最後の方はガクガクブルブルでした（笑）

帰りの船は歌とダンスを一緒にやって面白かったです！

終わった後に事務所へいくとちょっとしたプレゼントがもらえます。

I was moved by the fact that I could see a pod of dolphins up close, and I was also thrilled to see sea turtles at a distance where I could almost touch them. The ocean was so beautiful, just swimming was the best!!!!
Additionally, I learned a lot from the basic knowledge about snorkeling with dolphins that was shared on the bus.
I definitely want to recommend this to anyone going to Hawaii!

イルカの群れを直ぐ近くで見れたことに、またウミガメも本当に触れそうな距離で見れたことに感動しました。海がとってもきれいで泳ぐだけで最高でした！！！！
また、イルカをシュノーケリングするにあたっての基本的な知識もバスの中でInputしてもらってとっても勉強になりました。

I participated two years ago and it was amazing, so I brought my mother and wife to join me this time. The weather was rough right after the hurricane, but we were lucky to encounter a pod of about 30 dolphins. It was fantastic to see the baby dolphins that were just born this year! Julie's talk was also entertaining!

2年前に参加して、最高だったので母と妻を連れて3人で参加。
ハリケーンの直後で天候が荒れていましたが、無事30頭くらいの群れに遭遇。今年産まれたばかりの赤ちゃんイルカにも会えて最高でした！
ジュリーのトークも面白かったです！

I participated with my 8-year-old daughter. Our guide, Aino, was bright and energetic, making the tour a joyful experience from start to finish.

Although my daughter has some experience with snorkeling in the ocean, I was a bit worried about her safety since it was explained that she would need to swim at the same pace as the other participants. However, Aino had thoughtfully arranged for another staff member to support my daughter in advance, allowing us to enjoy the experience without any concerns. My daughter was thrilled to swim alongside the kind Hao, which she considered a precious experience.

Moreover, we were lucky to swim closely with many dolphins and mother-and-baby dolphins for a long time, which was amazing!

As a parent, safety was my biggest concern, but the Japanese staff provided thorough explanations on how to wear the equipment, and they consistently communicated with us to ensure we stayed together as a group while in the water. This made us feel completely secure in terms of both safety and communication.

Once my daughter is a bit older, I would like to participate in Dolphin University next time. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

8歳の娘と2人で参加しました。
ガイドのAinoさんは明るく元気で、終始笑顔の絶えないツアーでした。

娘は海でのシュノーケリングは何度か経験しているものの、イルカと泳ぐためには他の参加者と一緒のペースで泳ぐとの説明だったので、私だけでサポートできるのか安全面で少々不安でした。
ですが、ガイドのAinoさんが気をきかせてあらかじめ別のスタッフさんに娘のフォローを依頼しており、全く不安なく楽しめました。
娘も優しいHaoさんと一緒にバタ足して泳げたことが貴重な体験でとても嬉しかったようでした。

しかもラッキーなことに、長い時間たくさんのイルカの群れや親子イルカと近くで一緒に泳ぐことができ最高でした！

親子連れなので安全面が一番気になるところでしたが、日本人スタッフから用具の装着説明も丁寧にあり、海に入っている間も終始グループで一緒にいるように声掛けがあり、安全面でもコミュニケーション面でも全く不安なく参加できました。

もう少し娘が大きくなったら、次回はイルカ大学に参加したいと思っております。素敵なひと時をありがとうございました！

I was planning to sleep on the bus during the very early morning pickup, but the guide had a lively homeroom session. I couldn't sleep! They talked about Hawaii and dolphins, and it was very enjoyable and educational. We encountered dolphins twice, and the captain and other staff were wonderful. It was the best tour!

とても朝早いピックアップで、バスの中で寝て行こうと思っていましたが、ガイドさんからノリノリのホームルームがありました。寝かしてくれない！ハワイのこと、イルカのこと色々話してもらいとても楽しく、勉強になりました。
イルカも2回遭遇できキャプテンほかスタッフも素晴らしく最高のツアーでした。

It was my first time snorkeling, but I was able to swim without any worries thanks to the solid support from the staff! I want to participate again!

This was the best tour of my Hawaii trip, without a doubt! We saw so many dolphins, even more than I imagined, and they even spun for us! We also saw a mother and baby sea turtle! I was truly moved because I never expected to see so many dolphins.

The guide, Julie, and the local people were so warm and welcoming; I felt really grateful to have participated in this tour! I was a bit nervous after reading reviews that mentioned the bus ride was filled with chatter, but it was not uncomfortable at all. Instead, we heard fascinating stories about the dolphins, Hawaii's history, and more—it was a super enjoyable hour that flew by!

Above all, Julie's personality was amazing! I definitely want to join this tour again when I visit Hawaii next time! Thank you so much!

今回のハワイ旅行で1番と言ってもいい程最高のツアーでした！
イルカも想像以上に沢山見れてしかもスピンまでしてくれて！！海ガメの親子まで！！！！本当にあんなに沢山のイルカ達を見れるとは思ってなかったので本当に感動しました！
そしてガイドさんのジュリさんや現地の方々が本当あたたかくてこのツアーに参加して心の底から良かったと思いました！！！
口コミで行きのバスではずーっと喋り倒してるというのを見たのでドキドキしましたが、全然嫌な感じでは無くむしろイルカの特徴、ハワイの歴史などなど本当に為になるお話しばかりですごく楽しいあっという間の1時間でした！
何よりジュリさんの人柄が良すぎました！！
またハワイに行った際には参加したいと思います！！ありがとうございました！！

We participated as a family with our 3-year-old and 6-year-old daughters. Since it was the children's first time at the ocean and snorkeling, I was honestly worried about how much they could handle, but everything changed when we saw dolphins from the boat! They eagerly said, "I want to go, I want to go!" and did their best to snorkel alongside the adults. It was truly moving to see beautiful dolphins and many fish underwater for the first time. Thank you so much to Captain Papa, Julie, and all the staff, as well as everyone who joined us on the tour. It was a really valuable experience to let the kids challenge themselves while we watched! I definitely want to participate again when we go to Hawaii.

３歳、６歳の女の子と家族で参加しました。
子供は海やシュノーケルも初めてだったので、正直どこまでできるか不安でしたが、船の上からイルカを見ると一変！「行きたい、行きたい‼︎」と大人に混じってシュノーケルを頑張りました。初めて見る水中での綺麗なイルカや沢山の魚に会えて本当に感動しました。キャプテンのパパさん、ジュリさんを初めとするスタッフの皆さん、そしてツアーでご一緒した皆さん、本当にありがとうございました。
子供の様子を見ながら、チャレンジさせてもらえて本当に貴重な体験ができました！
また、ハワイに行ったら絶対参加したいです。

It was amazing to see dolphins so easily. Everyone seemed to be experienced with snorkeling, but it might be tough for first-timers. The beautiful scenery on the way to and from the site was also very enjoyable, so I highly recommend it. However, considering the travel time, the time spent snorkeling was a bit short, and there were many people, so I had to be mindful of others while swimming, which is why I’m giving it one star less.

イルカがこんなにも簡単に見ることができて最高でした。皆さんシュノーケルは慣れているようでしたが、初めてシュノーケルをやる人には厳しいかも？域と帰りの船でもきれいな景色が楽しめたので、とてもオススメです。移動時間の割には潜っている時間が少し短かったのと、人が多かったので、泳いでいるときにほかの人を気にする必要があったので、星はひとつマイナスにしています。

We participated as a family of five: two adults and three children in 6th, 4th, and 1st grades. We had no experience with snorkeling, and only our eldest son had taken swimming lessons, so we were anxious about whether we could swim in the ocean. However, our entire family was determined to meet wild dolphins, which is why we signed up for this tour.

We were picked up at 5:30 AM, and our youngest child was half asleep as the tour began. After a brief explanation of how to use the snorkeling equipment on the bus, it was time to put it into practice.

Once the boat set off and the prayer ceremony was over, we encountered dolphins right away. We hurriedly put on our fins and dove into the water without even checking if they were on correctly! To be honest, I was a bit scared (laughs).

From then on, whenever we spotted dolphins, we would dive in! Fortunately, we encountered dolphins multiple times and even got to swim alongside some. As we chased after the dolphins, sea turtles, and fish that kept appearing, I realized that my fear had disappeared. However, our youngest child struggled to use the equipment properly and couldn't hold their breath underwater, so they couldn't dive. Still, thanks to the instructor's assistance, they managed to jump in and keep up. In the end, they were thrilled to see dolphins swimming close to the surface.

It was much more physically demanding than I had imagined, and as our class representative, Julie, declared, it was quite an athletic tour. On the way back on the bus and after returning to the hotel, our whole family fell into a deep sleep (laughs).

However, our determination to meet the dolphins made it a wonderful memory for the entire family. "Shita, mite-!!" "Okino hou-!!" has become a catchphrase in our home! The children seemed to really like the cheerful guide.

In addition to snorkeling, the kids had a blast with a diving competition. Our youngest got a bit scared at the last minute (laughs).

Lastly, class representative Julie was truly wonderful. Her respect for dolphins and nature and her heartfelt gratitude brought me to tears. Participating in this tour allowed us to learn so much, and it felt like a deep experience rather than just a simple dolphin swimming tour.

The other people on the boat were also very friendly, kind, and fun. If there were a middle school like this, the kids would be excited to attend!

We knew we wouldn't be able to take our own photos, so we didn't bring a camera. Instead, we purchased photos, and they quickly sent the data via email, allowing our family to enjoy them before returning home.

If I have the opportunity to go to Hawaii again, I would definitely like to join the Dolphin Middle School tour. Until then, I hope everyone stays well. Thank you very much.

　夫婦2人と、6年生、4年生、1年生の子ども3人で参加しました。シュノーケリングは経験がなく、スイミングも6年生の長男しか習っていなかったので、果たして海で泳げるのか不安でした。しかし、家族全員が野生のイルカに会いたい一心でこちらのツアーに申し込みました。
　早朝5時半のピックアップで下の子は半分寝たままツアー開始。バスでざっとシュノーケリングの道具の使い方を説明されたら後は実践あるのみという感じ。
　船が出て、お祈りの儀式が終わるとすぐにイルカに遭遇。とりあえず大急ぎでフィンをつけ、ちゃんと付けれてるかの確認もないまま海の中へダイブ！！正直ちょっと怖かったです(笑)
　それからとにかくイルカを見つけたらダイブ！！幸運にも何度もイルカに出会い、船と一緒に泳いでくれるイルカにも会うことができました。次々と姿を見せてくれるイルカやカメ大教授、魚たちを夢中で追いかけているうちに、気付けば怖さもなくなっていました。ただ1年生の末っ子だけは道具がうまく使いこなせず、息継ぎができなかったため水中に潜る事はできませんでしたが、それでもインストラクターの方の補助のおかげもあり、必死で飛び込んで付いてこれましたよ。結果、水面で泳ぐイルカを近くで見れたと喜んでいました。
　想像よりもかなりハードで、学級委員のジュリさんが宣言した通り体育会系のツアーでした。帰りのバスも、ホテルに帰ってからも家族全員で爆睡(笑)
　しかし、イルカに会いたい一心で頑張ったこともあり、家族全員の最高の思い出になりました。「シタ、ミテー！！」「オキノホウー！！」は今も我が家での流行語です！子どもたちは愉快なお兄さんのことがとても好きになったようでした。
　シュノーケリング以外にも、子どもたちは飛び込み大会をして盛り上がっていました。うちの末っ子は土壇場でビビってましたが（笑）

　最後に、学級委員のジュリさんは本当に素敵でした。イルカや自然に対する尊敬の姿勢、感謝の心、聞いていてちょっと涙が出てしまいました。このツアーに参加して、色んなことを学び、単なるイルカと泳ぐツアーではなくとても奥が深い経験になったなと感じています。
　また船に乗っていた他の方もとてもフレンドリーで、優しく、楽しい方々ばかりでした。こんな中学校なら子供も喜んで通うでしょうね！
　今回は自分たちで写真撮影はできないとわかっていたのでカメラは持参しませんでした。そのため写真を購入しましたが、すぐにメールにてデータを送っていただき帰国前に家族で楽しむことができました。
　もしまたハワイに行く機会があれば、是非イルカ中学のツアーに参加したいです。それまで皆さんがお元気でいてくださいますように。

We participated in the Dolphin Encounter with our 5-year-old child. It seems they had a lot of fun interacting directly with the dolphins. Since our child's height is 110 cm, they couldn't touch the bottom of the pool, but it wasn't a problem as the parents could assist. The event started at 1 PM and ended around 2:30 PM, but we had some time to kill since the return bus was at 5 PM. Although there are things to see at the aquarium, it's not very large, and the gift shop closed at 3:30 PM, so I felt it would be better to go with a rental car.

ドルフィンエンカウンターに5才の子供と参加しました。
イルカと直接触れ合う事が出来てとても楽しかったようです。
子供の身長が110cmなのでプールでは足がつかなかったですが、親が補助とすれば、問題ありませんでした。
1時から始まり2時半ぐらいで全て終了しますが帰りのバスが5時との事で時間を持て余しました。水族館なのでみるものはありますが、そんなに広くないのとギフトショップが3時半で閉まったので、レンタカーで行った方が良いと感じました。

Since this is my second time, I had a general idea of what to expect. It's smoother if you wear your swimsuit underneath before departure. Don't forget to bring a towel since you can take a shower afterward. When changing, the staff will select the life jacket for you, so I think it's better to wait calmly on the spot to get one that fits perfectly. The pool for interacting with the dolphins was really cold again this time. They check for accessories and nail polish when you enter. Glitter nails were fine, but stones and studs are not allowed, so it seems you have to wear gloves. I wondered what would happen if you had them on your feet... I think it's better to avoid 3D nails if you participate in this.

2度目なのでだいたいの勝手はわかっていました。
出発前に下に水着を着ておくとスムーズです。終わったあとシャワーを浴びれるのでタオルを忘れずに持参した方がいいです。
着替える時に救命胴衣をスタッフさんが選んでくれるので、あわてずその場で待っていた方がサイズぴったりなものを着用できて良いと思います。
イルカと触れ合うプールは今回もめっちゃ冷たかったです。
入る際にアクセサリーやマニキュアをチェックされます。ラメ入りのネイルは大丈夫でした。ストーン、スタッヅなどはNGなので手袋をつけさせられるようです。足についていたらどうなるんだろう…とちょっと疑問に思いました。これに参加するなら3Dのネイルは控えた方がいいと思います。

I was moved to see wild dolphins and turtles up close like that. Last year, I participated in a helicopter tour of Kilauea Volcano, and this tour met my expectations just like before, so I am very grateful. Thank you!

Since my child is still not very good at swimming, we entered the Dolphin Aloha program. It looked like so much fun to touch the dolphins and feed them. Although we didn't go into the pool, we got splashed quite a bit. (But we dried off while walking around the park afterward.) It was reassuring to have a guide who spoke Japanese with us. When my child is a bit older, I would love to swim with the dolphins next time! 😊

子供がまだあまり泳げないので、ドルフィンアロハにエントリーしました。
イルカに触ったり、餌をあげたり、とても楽しそうでした。
プール内には入りませんが、結構水をかけられました。(でもその後パーク内を回っているうちに乾きます)
日本語が話せるガイドさんがついていてくれたので、安心でした。
もう少し大きくなったら、今度はイルカと一緒に泳ぎたいな:-)

I participated with my 5-year-old son. The shuttle service was well-organized, with assigned seating despite the large number of participants, and the explanations and stories on the way were very enjoyable. We saw a pod of about 30 dolphins, including around 3 baby dolphins that swam right beneath me! The water was crystal clear, and even though it was deep, I didn't feel scared at all; the white sandy bottom was actually beautiful. We also went to a spot where we swam with 4 sea turtles. I heard that seals were seen on the first trip, so I hope to encounter them next time I participate. The crew on the boat was also very fun, and I would love to join again! ☺︎

送迎車、参加人数も多いのに席もちゃんと決まっていたりと段取り良く、行きの説明やお話しもとても楽しく聞けました、
イルカの群れ30頭くらい、赤ちゃんイルカも3頭位、私の真下を泳いでくれました！
透き通る水に、深かったのに全然怖くなく、
白い砂底が逆に素敵でした。
海亀のスポットにも行き4匹と泳げました。
1便ではアザラシも見れたらしく、また参加した時に出会えたらいいなと思います。
船のクルーの人達もとても楽しくて

I participated in the encounter with my 8-year-old and 3-year-old daughters. My 8-year-old had been there before, but she spent much longer in the pool this time and was very satisfied. After the tour, we had to wait quite a while at the photo counter, even though there wasn't much time before the return bus. If it had been a bit smoother, we could have returned without stress... Also, the return bus was as cold as a refrigerator, and even with a jacket on, I felt like I might catch a cold.

8歳と3歳の娘を連れてエンカウターに参加しました。
8歳の娘は2度目でしたが、以前よりプールにいる時間が長くて大満足でした。
ツアーに参加してから、帰りのバスの時間があまりないわりに写真のカウンターが混み合い結構待ちました。
もう少しスムーズならストレスフリーで帰れるたのに…
あと、帰りのバスの中が冷蔵庫並で上着を着ていても風邪引きそうでした。

It seems I was unlucky that day and couldn't swim with the dolphins... But I spotted three from the boat! On the way to the harbor, our guide Julie kept talking, and it was fun! I learned a lot about Oahu. I feel like giving it five stars, but since I couldn't swim with them, I'll give it four stars in hopes for the next time! I'll participate again! ( ˆoˆ )

This was my first dolphin watching experience after turning 50! I was worried about my stamina, but it turned out to be unnecessary. The boat captain and crew were all very nice, making it a fantastic experience. For those who will be experiencing this in the future, make sure to take measures against seasickness.

50才を越えて、初のイルカウォッチング！
体力に心配がありましたが、取り越し苦労でした。
ボートキャプテンやクルーの皆さんがとても良い人達で最高の経験でした。
これから体験する方は、船酔い対策はしっかりとして下さい。

The guide mentioned that it was quite a lucky day, as we quickly discovered a pod of dolphins after we started searching. We encountered dolphins jumping out of the water and several times came across a group of dolphins, seeing about 60 of them (according to the guide)! My family was also deeply moved, making it the best experience. After that, we enjoyed snorkeling surrounded by large sea turtles and fish, feeling like we were in an aquarium. We ended with a hula dance and a group photo.

The guide was a woman named Julie, and she was fantastic. She was very funny, upbeat, and kept us laughing from the explanations in the car to the guidance on the boat. Her strong love for the ocean and dolphins was evident, making her an excellent guide. I think it would be lucky to have Julie as your guide.

One thing to take note of is that, as Julie mentioned herself, this dolphin experience is quite athletic and rigorous. It felt like, "Wait, are we jumping in already?" and the kids were a bit scared, but once we jumped in, everything turned out fine. In the end, we were all super moved, so the rigorous approach ended up being a good thing.

Overall, encountering the dolphins and having the best guide made for an incredibly fortunate tour. I highly recommend it.

ガイドさんも言っていましたが、かなりラッキーな日だったようで、探し始めてすぐにイルカ先生の群れを発見。海面をジャンプするイルカに加え、群れで及ぶイルカに何度も遭遇でき、約60頭（ガイドさん曰く）も見ることが出来ました！　家族も感動しきりで最高の体験になりました。　その後は、大きなウミガメや魚に囲まれた水族館にいるようなシュノーケリングを楽しみました。最後は皆でフラダンスと記念撮影で終了。

ジュリさんというガイドさんだったのですが、この女性がまた最高でした。とっても面白く、ノリが良くて、車内の説明から船上でのガイダンスまで笑いっぱなし。また海やイルカへの愛が強く気持ち・情熱が伝わるガイドでとても良かったです。ジュリさんに当たったらラッキーだと思います。　
一点Take Noteしたいのは、ジュリさんも自分で言っていましたが、このイルカ中学、結構体育会系でスパルタです。「え？これでもう飛び込んじゃうの？」という感じで、子供たちもビビッていましたが、いざ飛び込んだら何とかなるもの。結局超感動していたので、このスパルタも結果的には良かったです。
というわけで、イルカとの遭遇も、最高のガイドさんも、恵まれた最高のツアーでした。強くお勧めです。

We were able to encounter a pod of dolphins, and my daughter was excited. It seems that luck can vary from day to day, and we were lucky this time.

The staff were kind, which made us feel secure participating in the tour, and our satisfaction level was quite high. I'm glad we participated. If there’s another opportunity, I would definitely like to join again.

Participation of a 5-year-old boy alone

I read in other people's experiences that it was okay not to understand English, but in our case, we were in a group of five (four of whom were children from English-speaking countries), and there was no particular support, which made my son feel quite isolated. The instructor initially taught us about the size of the dolphins, but since we couldn't understand the words, we waited for what felt like thirty minutes for the explanation to finish. At one point, my son had a gloomy expression and said, "I don't understand what they're saying, so this isn't fun at all." I regretted participating in this program.

After that, we finally entered the pool and had a photo session with the dolphins, but compared to the other four, my son clearly had fewer poses. For example, we took turns kissing the dolphin for photos, but my son's turn was skipped. When it came to swimming with the dolphin for photos, he was skipped again. And when it was time to feed the dolphin for photos, he was skipped once more. I seriously wondered if this was some form of discrimination.

Still, I held onto a faint hope that they might take photos of him later, but as expected, my wish was not fulfilled until the end. He was skipped so many times that I thought about going to the reception to ask for photos, but by the time I circled the pool, the program had ended. I couldn't bring myself to ask to go back into the pool for photos again, so I gave up, but I felt regret and tears came to my eyes.

It seemed like he was ignored because he couldn't speak English.

Later, when we were choosing the photos to purchase, none of the poses I had initially requested were available, and there wasn't a single good photo, which was disappointing. I regretted coming all this way and paying a high price for the photos. I managed to buy a few photos, but every time I look at them, I feel sad, so I’ve put them away.

I apologize for the lengthy message, but if your child is going to participate, I wouldn’t recommend it unless they are fluent in English like a native speaker. I think it would be fine for adults.

他の方の体験談に、英語がわからなくても大丈夫と書いてありましたが、
うちの場合は5人グループ(うち4人は英語圏の子供達)で、
特にフォローもなく疎外感がかなり強かったみたいです。

言葉がわからず、数十分(恐らく30分程度？)ひたすら説明が終わるのを待っていました。途中「何を言ってるかわからないから、ちっとも楽しくないね。」と暗い顔をしていたのでこのプログラムに参加したことを後悔しました。

そのあといよいよプールに入って、イルカと撮影をしてくれましたが、
他の4人と比べて明らかにポーズが少なかったです。
例えば順番ずつイルカにキスをする写真を撮るのですが、息子の番だけスキップされました。
順にイルカと泳ぎ写真を撮る、息子だけスキップ。
順にイルカに餌をあげる写真を撮る、息子だけスキップ。
これは人種差別なのか？と割と真剣に悩みました笑

それでも後から撮ってくれるかもと淡い期待をいだいておりましたが、
予想通り最後まで願いが叶うことはありませんでした。
あまりにスキップされるので、受付に写真を撮って欲しいと言いに行こうと思いプールをぐるりと周っている間にプログラムが終了しました。
まさかもう一度プールに入って写真を撮ってくれなんて言えませんでしたので諦めましたが、悔しくて少し涙が出ました笑

息子が英語が話せないから、存在を無視されていたようでした。

あとから購入する写真を選ぶのですが、最初に希望を伝えていたポーズも無く、良いものが一枚もなかったので落胆しました。
高いお金を払って写真を撮ってもらいに来たのに、と後悔しました。
なんとか写真を数枚購入しましたが見るたびに悲しい気持ちになるので、しまいこんでいます。

長くなりましたが、お子様が参加されるのであれば英語がネイティブ並みに堪能でないとおすすめしません。大人なら大丈夫だと思います。

I joined this tour because I wanted to swim with dolphins! It was completely different from any snorkeling I've done before and required a lot of physical effort! But that's the purpose of the tour, to swim with dolphins! I swam with all my might to be with the dolphins☆ I was very tired, but I was able to swim with many dolphins and even encountered a turtle, creating wonderful memories♪ The spam onigiri I had on the boat was really delicious (^_^)

イルカと泳ぎたくてこのツアーに参加しました！今まで参加したシュノーケルとは全然違ってとても体力のいるツアーです！でもこれはツアーの目的であるイルカと泳ぐため！イルカと泳ぎたくて全力で泳ぎました☆とっても疲れましたがたくさんのイルカと泳ぐことができ、また亀にも遭遇してとても楽しい思い出ができました♪船の上で食べたスパムおにぎりがとっても美味しかったです(^_^)

The pickup was at 5:50 AM.
Just as the rumors said, Julie was amazing! She was very cute and full of energy, and thanks to her, the tour was a lot of fun!
I was feeling uneasy due to lack of sleep, jet lag, and being prone to seasickness, but I thought I could manage with some motion sickness medication.
The boat didn't sway too much, but after we got into the water for a while, I started to feel seasick.
However, I forgot about feeling sick because I was so focused on taking pictures of the dolphins, and I even saw baby dolphins!
When we returned to the boat to move to the sea turtle point, I remembered that I had been feeling sick.
The sea turtles swam really close to us, and there were so many of them; it was truly moving.
On the way back, I completely crashed and slept the whole time, but I think it was a great tour!
The crew members were all really nice. It was the best.

Since it was cold, I definitely recommend borrowing a wetsuit (everyone in our group borrowed one).
I also think it's a good idea to bring a bath towel (it gets cold after you take off the wetsuit).
You'll be swaying on the sea for about three hours, so motion sickness medication is a must. I want to participate in this tour again after somehow overcoming seasickness.
I was also happy to receive the group photo via email right after the tour! 😊

とてもかわいくて元気いっぱいで彼女のおかげで楽しいツアーでした！
寝不足、時差ボケ、船に弱い私は嫌な予感がしていたものの酔い止めで乗り切ろうと思っていました。
船はそこまで揺れなかったですが、海に入ってしばらくしたら波酔いしてしまいました。
でもイルカがたくさん見えて、赤ちゃんイルカも見えて、写真を撮るのに夢中で気持ち悪くなっていたことも忘れました。
ウミガメのポイントへ移動するため船に戻ると、酔っていたことを思い出しました。笑
ウミガメもすっごく近くで泳いでくれて、たくさんいて、感動しました。
帰りの船は完全ダウンでずっと寝てしまいましたが、とてもいいツアーだったと思います！
本当にクルーの方がみんないい人。
最高でした。

寒いのでウエットスーツは絶対に借りたほうがいいです。（私たちのクラスは全員借りてました）
あとバスタオルも持参したほうがいいと思います。（ウエットスーツ脱いだあと寒いので）
約3時間海の上で揺られることになるので、酔い止めは必須。どうにか船酔いを克服してまた参加したいツアーです。笑
あとツアー後にすぐ集合写真をメールで頂けたのも嬉しかったです(^^)

I participated with my 5-year-old son. He seemed nervous with the unfamiliar life jacket and snorkel, but the class representative, Julie, kindly supported him, and we were able to see dolphins up close. Unfortunately, we could only see sea turtles from the boat because my child gets cold easily, but we spotted about four of them. The spam musubi for a light snack was also delicious. The other participants and the staff were very friendly, and the final hula was a lot of fun. I definitely want to participate again once my son can swim better! Julie, please wait for us until then!

5歳の息子と参加しました。
慣れないライフジャケットとシュノーケルに緊張した様子でしたが学級委員ジュリさんが優しくフォローしてくれてイルカを目の前で見る事が出来ました。
海ガメは残念ながら子供が寒がり船の上からとなりましたが4匹近くで見られました。
軽食のスパムむすびも美味しかったです。
一緒に参加された方、スタッフの方々もノリが良く最後のフラもとても楽しかったです。
また息子がもっと泳げるようになったら絶対参加したいです！

I found this review very helpful, so I’d like to share my thoughts as well.

I participated with my 6-year-old daughter, who just turned six, and my parents in their 70s, making it a three-generation outing.

Renting a wetsuit was essential, especially for slim individuals, children, and the elderly. It gets surprisingly cold floating in the sea for a long time without a wetsuit, and after seeing the dolphins, when the boat moves to the snorkeling spot, it’s really cold with the wind on a wet body. By the way, it was sunny at the end of June. Everyone on the trip was wearing one.

My daughter wore a swimsuit, a short-sleeve rash guard, rash leggings, and a rented wetsuit that was long-sleeved and shorts. Even with that, she was shivering and had blue lips after getting out of the water. I thought maybe I should have gotten her a thicker, warmer long-sleeve and long-pants rash guard. Since children are just floating and not swimming hard, they get colder more easily.

After snorkeling, my daughter was so cold that she wanted to take off her wet swimsuit immediately, so she quickly changed into her regular clothes on the boat while shivering, put on a windbreaker, and finally stopped shivering once she wore a down jacket. I think it would be reassuring to bring a compact ultra-down jacket from Uniqlo for children who get cold easily.

A children's pool towel with a hood and snaps is convenient for changing anywhere. A super absorbent, quick-drying, ultra-thin chamois towel was also very handy. No matter how many beach towels you have from the hotel, it’s never enough.

By the way, my daughter could do a face-down flutter kick and had her first snorkeling experience at Hanauma Bay the day before. My husband went into the sea first, and the staff helped lower my daughter from the boat, where my husband caught her below. From the boat to the water's surface, it’s close enough that you can sit and your feet won’t reach, but it’s not a scary height. Everyone else jumped in from standing, but since we were last in line, my mother and I sat down and slipped into the sea. They also provide floatation devices. The support and encouragement from the staff were experienced and made me feel really safe while snorkeling.

I recommend the dissolvable motion sickness tablets. I usually get seasick even with a float, but this time I was perfectly fine.

Juri, the class representative, was just like a class representative should be—very caring and someone you can rely on. I was really satisfied with the thoughtful consideration and kindness she showed, and I’m so glad I participated. The bus ride was refreshing and fun, with a very clear guide. I made truly wonderful memories.

I will definitely choose Dolphin Academy again next time! Thank you very much!

今回、こちらの口コミをとても参考にさせていただきましたので、私の感想も少しのせてみますね。

6歳になったばかりの年長さんの娘と、70代の両親と３世代での参加です。

ウェットスーツのレンタルは必須でした。特に細身の方。お子様やお年寄り。必須です！
海で長時間浮かんでいるのも、ウェットスーツが無いと、思いのほか寒くなってくるので耐えられないのと、イルカを見た後、船がシュノーケルスポットへ移動する時も、濡れた体で風を受けるので、ウェットスーツ着ていないと寒くて無理です！
ちなみに6月末で晴天です。　
参加者全員着用してました。

娘は水着+半袖ラッシュガード+ラッシュレギンス+レンタルのウェットスーツは長袖半ズボンで、それでも海から上がるとガタガタ震えて唇青くて。。
もっと上下厚手の保温タイプの長袖長ズボンラッシュにしてあげれば良かったかな～くらいな感じです。子供は特に浮かんでいるだけなので、一生懸命泳がないから余計寒いのですね。

シュノーケルが終わると、娘は寒すぎて、濡れた水着をすぐに脱ぎたがりましたので、船上で震えながらもパパッと普段着に着替え、防風ウィンドブレーカーをはおり、更にダウンジャケットでようやく震えが止まった様子。
寒がりなお子様にはコンパクトなユ○クロのウルトラダウンみたいなのを是非念のためお持ちになると安心だと思います。

フードやスナップのついた子供用のプールタオルは何処でもお着替えが出来て便利。
タオルも超吸水、超速乾、超薄のセームタオルが便利でした。ホテルのビーチタオルでは何枚あっても足りません。

ちなみに娘は顔付ばた足が出来る程度で、前日にハナウマ湾で初めてシュノーケルを経験した所。
パパが先に海におりて、船上からスタッフの方に娘を抱き下ろしてもらい、パパが下で受け取る形。船から水面は、座って足は届かないけれど、かなり近いです。皆さん立って足から飛び降りる感じですが、順番の最後だったので、私や母は座ってから、足からスルッと海に降りました。怖くない高さです。
浮き棒等貸して下さいます。
サポートも声掛けもベテランで、本当に安心してシュノーケル出来ました。

舐めるタイプの酔止めはおすすめです。普段浮き輪でも酔う私ですが、今回はバッチリでした。

学級委員のじゅりさんが、まさに学級委員って感じで、とっても面倒見がよくて思わず頼りたくなる本当に素敵な方で、細やかな配慮と優しい気配りで、こちらに参加して本当に良かったと大満足でした。
バスの中でも爽やかで楽しくて、とても分かりやすいガイドをして頂きました。本当に素敵な思い出が出来ました。

また次回も必ずイルカ中学を選びます！本当にありがとうございました！

This was my second time participating, and I was once again very satisfied! I was able to swim with many dolphins. I'm usually scared to swim in the ocean where I can't touch the bottom, but in this activity, I had zero fear. For those who are anxious about swimming, they provide not only life jackets but also floatation devices, which is reassuring. It seems that swimming with spinner dolphins is something you can only do in Hawaii, so I highly recommend it. Our guide, Juli, was also fun and lively! I definitely want to participate again when I go to Hawaii!

たくさんのイルカと一緒に泳げました。
私は足が届かない海では怖くて泳げないのですが、このアクティビティでは恐怖心ゼロでした。泳ぎに不安がある人には、ライフジャケットの他に浮き棒も貸してくれるので安心です。ハシナガイルカと泳げるのは世界中でハワイだけらしいので、本当におススメです。

It was really funny to see my younger daughter and a foreign boy, around 10 years old, who was scared of dolphins, connecting with each other as if to say, "It's scary, isn't it?" despite the language barrier.

Inside the birdcage, there were many birds, and I made memories that I couldn't experience in Japan.

A trip to Hawaii with my friend's family. I was the only one who wanted to swim with dolphins, so I felt anxious but decided to sign up anyway. My worries while waiting for the pickup bus were blown away by the guide's Japanese. All the participants were Japanese as well, and they were all cheerful and friendly, which made me feel even more at ease!

The one-hour ride was never boring thanks to the lively talk from our guide, Julie (a cheerful Japanese woman). The weather was great, the boat was stable, and I enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the west coast of Hawaii. I got to see plenty of dolphins, turtles, and tropical fish, which was thrilling and moving!

The staff were not only cheerful but also maintained safety properly, which made me feel secure. Typically, I am satisfied after one experience, but this time I found myself wanting to participate again.

ピックアップしてくれるバスを待っている間の不安は、ガイドの方の日本語で吹き飛びました。参加者も全員日本人で、しかも陽気な良い方ばかりでさらに安心！
1時間の車内は、ガイドのジュリー（元気な日本女性）のトークで飽きないし、天気も良くて船も揺れが少なくて、ハワイ西海岸の景色を満喫しました。イルカも亀も熱帯魚もたっぷりと見れて、感動・興奮！
スタッフ達も陽気なだけじゃなく、キチンと安全をキープしてくれてて、安心出来ました。
大体なんでも、1度で満足する自分が、また参加したいと思いました。
