We made a reservation for the last day of our honeymoon! The food was three-star quality and had a satisfying volume—so much that we ended up leaving some behind. It was a day when we could see the fireworks from Hilton, so we reserved a window-side table, but other guests gathered on the deck and completely blocked our view, so we had to move to the deck as well. That was a bit disappointing.

We chose a course with champagne and cake, but since the whole cake had to be taken home, it was a shame we couldn't finish it when we got back. It might be better not to have it on the last day.

I added the night view from Tantalus Lookout as an option when signing up, and while I knew that it couldn't be combined with the round-trip limousine, I was surprised to find that instead of the limousine for our return, we were crammed into a van with a group of six. When I asked the local tour company, they told me that there was never a limousine from the beginning, so I will request that they change the wording when signing up. At first, I felt like there was a mistake or that I had been deceived. The sunset cruise was a 5-star experience.

I participated in the most affordable plan (buffet). Although I couldn't experience the captain's hospitality, the staff in charge worked hard to entertain us, and their effort truly touched my heart. From start to finish, they provided continuous entertainment, making the two hours from boarding to disembarking enjoyable. I was impressed by their spirit of service.

I declined the photo service (two-shot) when it seemed like a sale, but they graciously backed off. I was prepared to be asked for a tip when disembarking, but there was none, and I left without making any additional payment, which made me feel a bit embarrassed. In the end, I only paid for the initial ticket.

I wished I could have had more roast beef, but I got full, which was a bit disappointing. The husband of the newlywed couple at the next table was an active amateur rugby player, and the amount he ate was incredible. The additional roast beef he received looked like about 400 grams, and I was impressed by the chef's generosity in serving it.

曇り空で、日没のシーンを心配しましたけれど、ごらんのように、その瞬間だけ雲が切れまして、感動のシーンを体験できました。（普段の心がけの問題です）
壁越しに、リッチなグループのショウタイムの様子が想像されましたけれど、気にするしないは本人の問題です。
私は、割り切って、費用対効果で言えば120％楽しませていただきました。

The course included all-you-can-eat steak and crab from One Star, and it was quite delicious, leaving us all full.

The waves weren't too high that day, but I felt a bit nauseous as soon as we boarded, so I think it's better for anyone, even those who are confident they won't get seasick, to take motion sickness medication. I tend to get motion sickness quickly, so I took some beforehand and was fine, but my sister looked like she might get seasick during the cruise, which made me anxious.

During the meal, we were lucky enough to see a whale and a rainbow, which made us really happy. There were also singing and dancing performances, and by that time, my family and I were able to enjoy our time together, and the nausea faded away, which was great. わたしはすぐに乗り物酔いするので、事前に服用していて大丈夫でしたが、姉が途中船酔いしそうだったので、見ているこっちもハラハラしました。
食事の途中で、奇跡的にクジラをみれたり、虹が見れたりと、ラッキーが続いて嬉しかったです。
歌やダンスのパフォーマンスもあり、その頃にはわたしも家族も楽しい時間を集中して過ごすことができて、気持ち悪さも消えてしまってよかったです。
残念ながらサンセットを見ることはできませんでしたが、金曜日のヒルトンの花火はみることができました。

他の方も書かれている通り、船内はとても空調が効いていて寒く感じるので、上着は必ず持って行くことをオススメします。

ディナークルーズ自体は何度も行くものではないと思いますが、一回は経験してみるのはすごくいいと思います。

My family and I had so much fun on this cruise! I wish I could remember the staff's name because they were so nice! It was the Captain's birthday and the bartender was a tall blond. My daughter was on crutches at the time of the cruize and the bartender put her on her back and carried her all the way from the boat to the sidewalk where she could walk with crutches again. Truly a great experience. And the fireworks were amazing!

Since it was my daughter's first trip to Hawaii, I looked for a tour that included a sunset dinner cruise, steak, and either lobster or shrimp. I thought a slightly larger boat would be less rocky even in high waves, and I believe that was a nice choice.

The meeting place was Aloha Tower, Pier 8. I had the impression that various trolleys frequently stopped at Aloha Tower, making it easy to get there, so I booked without a shuttle service (which turned out to be a mistake).

Now, only a few trolleys stop around Aloha Tower, and the bus stops nearby, making it quite inconvenient. The previous hustle and bustle is gone, with many vacant stores, which is quite sad. I thought I could go shopping early, but there were no stores to shop at. It mentioned checking in at the office next to the Star of Honolulu, but it was next to a bar. I tried talking to an older man who seemed to be a crew member, but he ignored me. After walking around and searching, I found the office next to a smaller boat near the entrance. The desolation around Aloha Tower increased my anxiety, and my beginner daughter became very anxious, which affected her mood significantly.

Finally boarding the ship, I ended up sandwiched between a Korean honeymoon couple, which was a bit uncomfortable. The table manners seemed different from Japan; they ate noisily, spilled food, and some of it even flew over to me. I wished they had designated zones for seating.

During the meal, a whale appeared, which was lucky. However, the explanation in English about how whales migrate south to raise their young and return to the Arctic after was somewhat difficult to understand, which was a bit disappointing.

Fortunately, the food was relatively lightly seasoned and delicious. The appetizer buffet with fruits and cheese, especially the cheese, was very satisfying. The blue cheese was delicious! The lobster, which I thought would be sashimi, was actually a whole boiled one with just one cut on its back. The girl dancing the hula who told me where the restroom was was very cute and kind. The way there was bright, but on the way back, it was completely dark, and the night view of Waikiki Beach from the sea was very beautiful.

The cruise ended safely, and since we had no shuttle service, we were tired and felt uneasy about the desolation of Aloha Tower, so we took a taxi back to Ala Moana Shopping Center. It was a bit far to the hotel, and since it was only around 8 PM, I thought we could do a little shopping and maybe catch a trolley. The taxi cost $14, including the tip. In the end, I wondered if taking a taxi was more economical than the shuttle for three or more people, trying to console myself for my mistake of not booking the shuttle service.

娘が初めてのハワイ旅行だったので、
サンセットディナークルーズ、ステーキ、ロブスターかエビ、
この３つが揃ったツアーを探しました。
そして、すこし大きめの船の方が波が高くてもあまり揺れないかな・・と思って。この点ではナイスチョイスだったと思います。

集合場所はアロハタワー、ピア８。
以前、アロハタワーといえば、いろんなトロリーが頻繁に停まり、簡単に行けるというイメージだったので、送迎なし、で予約しました。（←これは失敗）

なんと今ではアロハタワー周辺にはほんの数本のトロリーしか停まらず、the busが近くに停まるくらいで、なんとも不便。以前の賑いはなく、空店舗もたくさんあって、寂しいかぎりです。早めに行ってショッピングでも・・と思ったところ、ショッピングできるお店がない・・・
スター・オブ・ホノルル号横の事務所でチェックイン、とありましたが、横はバーだし。船員さんと思われるおじさんに話しかけてみたものの、無視されるし、歩き回って、探すと、入口近くの別の小さい船の横が事務所だし。
アロハタワー周辺がさびれすぎてわいた不安感がさらに大きくなり・・
ビギナーの娘はとても不安そうで、この時点でご機嫌がすこぶる悪くなってしまいました。

やっとのことで乗船するも、韓国のハネムーナーに両サイドを挟まれてしまい、ちょっと・・・。テーブルマナーが日本と違うのか、音を立てて食べ、こぼし、お料理の一部が飛んできて・・大変。なんとなく、ゾーンをわけてくれたらよいのに・・

お食事の途中、くじらが現れ、これはラッキーでした。
温かい海で子育てのために南下してたクジラも子育てが終わったら北極の海に帰っていくんだ的な説明も英語のみだったので、なんとなくしか分からず、ちょっと残念。

幸いお料理はわりとあっさりめの味付けで美味しかったです。
前菜のビュッフェのフルーツとチーズ、特にチーズが大満足。

ロブスター、お刺身かと思ったら、一尾まるごとボイルされたものが背に切れ目がひとつだけの状態でどーん。
娘の大好物なので頑張って食べましたが、手を洗わずにはいられない。おしぼりはくれたものの・・、くれたおしぼりで何とかするには１０枚は必要かも。そして、殻入れ！置くスペースはテーブルにはないけれど、欲しかった。が、私の苦労はよそに、娘はロブスターが気に入ったようで私の分までペロリと食べちゃいました。お皿の上にソースが二種類、うち一つがポン酢風だったのもよかったんでしょう＾＾

そんなこんなで、トイレを借りました。
石鹸をつけて手洗いしたかったのですが、液体せっけんらしき容器は残念ながらカラ。
船酔いした人のと思われる忘れ物の飛沫が壁についてて、これもちょっとちょっと。でも、これはたまたま、不運だったのでしょう。

トイレの場所を教えてくれたフラを踊っていた女の子はとても可愛らしく、優しかったです。
そして、行きは明るかったけど帰りは完全に暗くなり、海から見るワイキキの浜の夜景はとてもきれいでした。

無事クルーズもおわり、さて、送迎なしの私たち、疲れたし、アロハタワーの寂れっぷりが不安なのでタクシーでアラモアナショッピングセンターまで帰りました。
ホテルまでだとちょっと遠いし、まだ２０時くらいだったのでお買い物も少しできるしトロリーもあるかな・・と思って。タクシーはチップ込みで１４ドル。
結果、３人以上ならタクシーの方が送迎よりお得だったのかな・・
なんて自分の失敗（送迎なしにしたこと）をなぐさめてみたりしました。

The waves were calm, and the weather was nice that day, but while my husband didn't get seasick, I gradually started to feel unwell as time went on. Our elementary school child got very seasick and couldn't eat. It seemed like many others were also feeling seasick and were looking unwell on the deck. My parents had taken motion sickness medication beforehand, so they seemed to be fine. I think it's essential to take motion sickness medication before boarding, just to be safe.

お料理はステーキも普通に頂けるお味でしたし、カニも美味しかったのですが
カニのおかわりはスタッフがカニを持ってテーブルに回ってきてくれるの
ですが、カニの食べ放題というわりには、なかなかスタッフがきてくれない
ので１回しかおかわりができなかったです。
サンセットも綺麗でしたし、花火も綺麗に見えましたが、それよりも印象に
残ったのは、何といっても船酔いです。
当日は波も穏やかで天候もよかったのですが、主人は酔わなかったそう
ですが、私は時間とともに徐々に酔ってきました。
特にうちの小学生の子供はひどく酔ってしまい食事もできませんでした。
他にもたくさんの方が船酔いをされてたようで、デッキにでて具合が
悪そうにしていました。
両親は事前に酔い止めを飲んでいたので大丈夫なようでした。
念のため乗船の際は酔い止め服用必須だと思います。

This was my second time using this service, following my visit two and a half years ago. This time, since it was Friday, I was able to see the fireworks.

The meal included an all-you-can-eat crab course. I hesitated a bit because the boarding price has increased since my last visit, but I'm glad I decided to go. It became a wonderful memory.

The fireworks lasted about five minutes starting at 7:45 PM, so it was over in no time. While it wasn't very impressive in terms of scale, it was beautiful.

2年半前に続き、2回目に利用しました。今回は、金曜日なので、花火を見ることができました。
食事は、カニの食べ放題もついているコースです。以前より乗船価格が上昇ししているので、少し迷いましたが、利用して良かったです。良い思い出になりました。

During our hard schedule of 3 nights and 5 days, we chose the sunset dinner cruise on the last night! Since it was Friday, we were able to see fireworks during the cruise. I booked it hoping it would become a family memory.

We opted for the buffet for our meal. On the table, there was bread, one drink included, and the buffet featured salad, somen salad, macaroni salad, teriyaki chicken, roast beef, and for dessert, various fruits, chocolate cake, and two types of cheesecake. With all that food, we were definitely full (//∇//). While eating, we enjoyed ukulele music and Hawaiian dance, which varied by location but was satisfying and fun.

After watching the sunset, the full moon illuminated the water's surface, creating a beautiful collaboration with Diamond Head. We were also able to end the evening with fireworks, which was wonderful.

Oh, and during the Hawaiian dance, there was a dance that guests could participate in. It was so much fun! It would be a shame to miss out on that, especially since we came all the way to Hawaii! My mother (me) was having a blast participating in everything from hula dancing to group dances, tehe (〃ω〃).

After filling our stomachs and waiting for the fireworks, the sound of the ukulele became a lullaby, and my two daughters fell asleep, which was amusing. On the bus ride there, the guy with the messy hair who came to pick us up from Star Honolulu said "I LOVE," and in response, my daughter said "Me too."

I would definitely like to go again if the opportunity arises. Thank you for the memories! I wonder if the captain understood the bookmark?

食事はビッフェにしました。テーブルには、今パンがあり、ドリンク1杯付き・ビッフェは、サラダ・そーめんサラダ・マカロニサラダ・イタ飯チキンの照り焼き・ローストビーフ、デザートは、フルーツ色々・チョコレートケーキ・チーズケーキ2種でした。これだけ食べればお腹がいっぱい(//∇//) 食事を食べながらのウクレレ・ハワイダンス、場所場所によって違うけど満足できる楽しさでした
サンセットを見た後も月が満月だったこともあり水面に光が当たりダイヤモンドヘッドとのコラボがとても素敵でした。その後も、花火で最後を迎えることができ、とても良かったです。
そうそう、ハワイダンスの間にお客さんも参加できるダンスができました。とっても楽しかったです。あれは、一緒に参加しないともったいないですよ、せっかくハワイまで来たんですからね！母（私）は、、フラダンスからみんなで参加できるダンスまでハッチャケて楽しんでいましたテヘッ(〃ω〃)
お腹もいっぱいになり花火待ちしていた時ウクレレの音が子守唄になり娘2人は夢の中笑えました〜

On the last day of my trip to Hawaii, I participated in a Five Star Cruise. The shuttle picked us up from the Aloha Landing bus stop at Sheraton Waikiki. There were over 200 guests lined up for the bus, and I was a bit surprised to see so many Star of Honolulu passengers gathering at this bus stop every day! However, thanks to the precise guidance from the Star of Honolulu staff, we were able to board the bus smoothly. We arrived at the port in just under 20 minutes, and upon boarding, the captain welcomed us (a service exclusive to Five Star), and we were provided with a welcome drink and light snacks. (As a side note, I really enjoyed taking a photo with the charming captain, which is now displayed at our entrance.)

After departure, we were treated to a rich array of entertainment, including hula dancing, performances with traditional Hawaiian instruments, and a jazz stage featuring familiar tunes played on the flute, piano, and saxophone. The service was excellent; even though the staff were native speakers, they incorporated humor into their conversations, creating a relaxed atmosphere that allowed us to feel at ease. I felt that it was absolutely fine not to speak any English; in fact, not knowing English made me appreciate the wonderful hospitality even more. The staff's attention to detail, such as checking on drink and bread refills and asking, "Shall we take a photo?" showcased their exceptional care. This truly felt like five-star service, so not being able to speak English was not an issue at all.

Now, regarding the food, it was a French full-course meal, and the truffle soup, lobster, and beef were incredibly rich and luxurious in flavor. Additionally, we were given three drink tickets per person upon boarding (also exclusive to Five Star), which we used to order drinks. As a couple who enjoys drinking, we were concerned about needing to order more than four drinks, but surprisingly, it was more than enough (we were captivated more by the food, scenery, and performances than by the drinks). It seemed that other guests also did not order a fourth drink, which would likely incur an additional charge. So, drinkers can rest assured.

Of course, there were plenty of soft drinks available, but I highly recommend the beautifully crafted cocktails, which were so enticing that I couldn't help but notice what the other guests were drinking. Once we went out on deck after departure, we were treated to a breathtaking view of Waikiki Beach at sunset. Occasionally, the ship would make a 180-degree turn, allowing us to enjoy stunning views of both the sunset and the beach. Towards the end, I had the opportunity to dance a cheek-to-cheek with my wife, thanks to the vocalist's invitation (she called out to us since we were sitting right in front). Eventually, all the couples started dancing, and the excitement reached its peak.

From the food to the service, scenery, drinks, and staff's consideration, everything was five-star. I think this is a wonderful memory for this price. Based on this experience, I would recommend participating the day before returning home, as it allows you to soak in the afterglow while waiting for your flight back.

今回、ハワイ旅行の最終日にファイブスタークルーズに参加いたしました。送迎はシェラトンワイキキのアロハランディングバス乗り場からバスに乗車しました。バスの乗車に200人以上のお客さんが並んでおり、「毎日ここのバス乗り場に、スターオブホノルルの乗船客がこんなに集まるのか！？」と少々驚いてしまいましたが、スターオブホノルルのスタッフの的確な案内でスムーズにバスに乗車することができました。20分弱で港に到着し、乗船後は船長がお出迎えしてくださり（ファイブスター限定のサービス）、ウェルカムドリンクや軽食を提供いただきました。（余談ですが、かっこいい素敵な船長さんとの写真撮影が大変気に入り、今では我が家の玄関に飾ってあります。）出航後は、フラダンスなどのダンスやハワイの伝統的な楽器演奏といった芸能から、聞き馴染みのある曲でのフルート、ピアノ、サックスフォンによるジャズ演奏と歌のステージなど、充実したエンターテイメントが目白押しでした。接客については、ネイティブのスタッフにも関わらずの会話の中に笑いを取り入れたり、和やかな雰囲気を作っていただき安心して過ごすことができました。英語が一切できなくても全く問題ないと思いましたし、むしろ英語が出来ない分、おもてなしの素晴らしさを、より一層感じられると思います。特に、細やかにドリンクとパンの追加を確認してくださったことや「写真撮りましょうか？」などのお声かけなど、気配りも目配りも素晴らしい対応をしていただきました。これぞ5つ星の接客といった感じですので、英語のできるできないは全く問題ありませんでした。さて、肝心のお食事についてですが、フレンチのフルコースとあり、中でもトリュフのスープとロブスター、牛肉が大変濃厚で深みのある贅沢な味わいでした。また、お酒を含む飲み物は、乗船時に1人3杯のドリンクチケットが渡されていました（こちらもファイブスター限定）ので、こちらを使ってオーダーします。酒飲みの夫婦2人での参加でしたので4杯目以上の追加オーダーが必要かと案じておりましたが、案外十分（お酒よりも食事や景色、演奏に魅了されます）でした。なお、他のお客さんも恐らく有料になる4杯目のドリンク注文はされていませんでした。※従って、酒飲みの方もご安心してください。
また、もちろんソフトドリンクも豊富にありますが、美しさに心踊らされるカクテルがお勧めで、周りのお客さんのドリンクがついつい気になってしまうほどでした。出航後に甲板に出ると、夕暮れにワイキキビーチが一望でき絶景が臨めます。時折船が180度旋回するため、ワイキキ沖を一望でき、とても美しい夕焼けも、ビーチも両方を眺めることもできます。終盤は、私自身、ボーカリストの計らいで妻とチークダンスを踊りましたが（目の前に座っていたので声をかけられたため）、最終的には各カップルみな踊り始め、盛り上がりも最高潮を迎えました。食事からサービス、景色、ドリンク、スタッフの配慮など、どれを取っても5つ星でした。こんな素敵な思い出がこの価格なら良いと思います。なお、今回参加してみて、やはりお勧めは帰国前日が良いと思います。余韻に浸って復路の飛行機の時間を過ごすことができました。

ただ、ショーは客も交えた一体感を演出しており楽しめると思います。
