I was able to see a lot of dances that showcase the unique characteristics of each Hawaiian island, so just watching this hula show is worth it. The night view from Tantalus is a must-see! It seems like you can only get there by car, so I was glad I signed up. I took some photos, but seeing it with my own eyes was much more beautiful. Was a great night with good food and good entertainment to follow. Rose was our server and what a fantastic job she did, she had a number of tables to look after (as servers do over there) yet she gave intimate tables of two just as much as large group tables.
Overall a well run experience from pickup to drop off couldn't fault it at all

We were seated at a table in the bow section on the first floor. Although we were guided there, our group's seats were no longer available. When we informed the staff, they kindly asked other guests to move and prepared the best seats in that room for us. (I later found out that there was a group using extra chairs for their luggage.) While they were preparing our seats, they made sure we weren't bored by asking, "Where are you from?" and the musician made jokes to entertain us. During the meal, they kept us entertained with singing and dancing, and I was impressed by the sense of unity we experienced in the same room.

I was at the designated location 15 minutes before the pickup, but when I called the tour company 20 minutes after the scheduled time, they told me the bus had already left and that I would have to pay for my own transportation. Their response and attitude were utterly shocking.

The food was good and the steak was freshly grilled for us. We got welcome drinks and there are other drinks available for purchase. The boat is spacious and the crew was very friendly. They played local music, there's a hula girl, ukulele player and even fire knife dance at the end. Thank you Capt. Chuck & Capt. Tiger for being such great hosts, my friend and I had a great time at the Prince Kuhio.

The 5-star and 3-star plans were fully booked, so I chose this course. The buffet was more delicious than I expected. There were fruits, coffee, and desserts as well. Basically, a man sings solo, and along with that, a lovely lady and two men perform hula dances. In another room, groups were dancing hula and it was quite lively. At the end, it was fun to dance in a circle with people from various countries. During the fireworks, going up to the deck on the ship to enjoy the view of the night scenery and fireworks is beautiful. Since the wind is strong, I recommend bringing a thicker outer layer.

The Sunset Dinner Cruise on the Star of Honolulu offered a variety of experiences, but since the full course can be quite filling, my favorite is definitely the Pacific Star. If you're unsure, I think it's fine to choose based on your appetite. However, the live performances during the meal on the 5 and 3 Star are indeed luxurious. All the stars have excellent service from the staff, making for an enjoyable time. As for transportation, while it does come at a cost, I recommend the option with pick-up as it's convenient.

Watching the fireworks from the sea on Friday was such a luxury. The yacht cruiser was comfortable and didn't sway much. The food wasn't gourmet, but there was plenty of it, and drinks were generously unlimited. Above all, the captain and the crew were all fantastic.
