On the last day in Hawaii, I chose a cruise. The crab served during the meal was fairly tasty. I was a bit anxious since it was hard to get the crab.

The onboard show was impressive, featuring a slow hula dance by women followed by an energetic dance by the men. It concluded with a dance involving the audience and the waitstaff, bringing the show to a close.

Thanks to the favorable weather, I was able to enjoy the stunning view of the hotel district from Waikiki, beautifully illuminated by the sunset.

It’s hard to believe that it has been 30 years since I first arrived in Honolulu, docking at Aloha Tower on a tuna boat. The area around Aloha Tower has changed completely since those days.

Since then, I have traveled to Oahu several times for my honeymoon and private trips, but this was my first time participating in a dinner cruise. It made me reflect on what I had been missing out on, as I had only enjoyed diving and shopping in the past.

When I arrived at the Aloha Tower pier by charter bus, I got to watch a welcome ceremony before boarding the ship (I wish I could have taken my time to enjoy it), and then I enjoyed dinner while savoring the crew and staff's dance performances. The sunset over Waikiki was absolutely breathtaking, and the Hilton fireworks added a special touch.

Even though I couldn't speak English, I became friends with a couple from Texas who were sitting next to me, and it made me feel happy in a way. (I often think that if I had better language skills, it would have been even more enjoyable.) You can still make friends even without speaking the language.

Foreigners really know how to have fun; in the end, we all enjoyed dancing together to the fullest. (Wife's comment)

　英語は話せなくても、隣同士になったアメリカテキサスから来た夫婦とも仲良くなりなんとなくハッピーでした。（つくづく語学力があったら、もっと楽しいのにと思いました。）話せなくても何とかなりますよ友達になるのは、
　外国人は楽しみ方が上手ですね、最後はみんなでダンスを思いっきり楽しみました。（妻談）

I regretted not booking a sunset dinner cruise during our 35th wedding anniversary trip to Hawaii, so this time I made sure to reserve a star couple window seat, and we were able to enjoy a wonderful dinner and sunset.

Surrounded by young couples who looked like newlyweds, we had a great time chatting with our neighbors. The large lobster during dinner was surprising, but the food was very tasty, and the dessert was delicious as well.

We took so many beautiful sunset photos that I’m considering using them for next year's calendar. This time, we celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary in Hawaii, and I definitely want to take a sunset dinner cruise again for our 45th anniversary to enjoy another wonderful sunset with my husband.

This is my 15th time in Hawaii, but it's my first time participating in a sunset dinner cruise. I had the impression that the food wouldn't be great, so I had ignored it until now. Since it's my grandfather's 88th birthday trip and he loves taking photos, we decided to try the 3-star cruise. Of course, we kept a window seat. The view was amazing, and my grandfather was very satisfied, taking lots of pictures. The lobster and steak were quite good. They had tables set up for each group, which made for great conversation. I participated for the first time with four friends. We joined the buffet.
The food was very delicious, but I got a little seasick and couldn't eat much.
However! I was able to enjoy the beautiful sunset and a fun show, and my seasickness quickly disappeared. (I tend to get seasick easily, but I think it's totally fine if you feel a little queasy.)
Above all, the show was really great. There were many couples and families from various countries, and after celebrating the newlyweds, everyone danced to YMCA together and held hands while spinning around, which was a lot of fun!☆

The scenery was not as good as I had imagined. The buffet food was very mediocre. I don't think it was worth that price. By the way, those in the same group who chose the course meal plan felt that the food was appropriate for the price.

One thing I can praise is the all-participant dance show towards the end of the cruise, where everyone, from couples to families, came together and smiled.

However, other aspects were lacking... I could hear loud noises coming from the kitchen, and even though I was still eating, my plates were taken away multiple times.

We used the 3-star service as a couple. We had reserved a table for two by the window, but the distance to the neighboring table felt quite close, giving a cramped impression. However, if we hadn't reserved a table for two, we would have been seated at a round table with about eight people, so this was definitely better.

The food took some time to arrive due to the large number of passengers, but the staff peeled the lobster for us, making it easy to eat, and it was delicious with plenty of meat.

The portion might be a bit small for men.

Unfortunately, there were clouds, so we couldn't see the full sunset, but the view was still very beautiful.

There were no particularly noteworthy changes during my visit. As for the meals, they were surprisingly delicious, just like before. However, the all-you-can-eat crab was quite disappointing. Four years ago, the crab was grilled and paired well with the butter sauce, but this time it was just boiled (probably in that state when imported) and only reheated. It wasn't too dry, but the crab was very slim, and the crab crackers provided were too weak to use.

Other than that, we enjoyed the show, and my mother and I, both type B personalities, danced a lot with an American and a South American (who spoke Spanish) next to us. The surrounding Japanese and Koreans were watching us in amazement, but hey, you have to enjoy it!

I went on the Sunset Cruise with Star of Honolulu. I secured a window seat for an additional $19, and it was a great success! Since our seats were near the entrance on the left side, we enjoyed cruising while looking at the city of Honolulu at first, and later, we got to enjoy the sunset. Being near the entrance also allowed us to see the show up close.

Sitting by the window, we received great photos, including a group photo of the four of us and a photo of the Honolulu ship for each couple. I thought it was a very worthwhile option.

I was a bit worried since I didn't choose the Three Star option for the meal, but we were able to enjoy a proper course meal. I highly recommend the course that comes with this option. Both my husband and our daughter and her husband were very satisfied.

I finally went on a sunset cruise that I had been curious about for a long time, and it was quite nice. A huge ship filled up quickly with people boarding one after another. I had read reviews saying it wouldn't be too rocky, but surprisingly, it was quite bumpy. It was fine when sitting, but I really felt the swaying when I stood up to walk around. Since alcohol is allowed, I think it's better for those who get seasick to limit their alcohol intake.

The food was decent. Dishes were served one after another as part of the course, but at some tables, the timing was a bit off compared to the neighboring table.

Most of the guests were on their honeymoon. I think it would be great for a honeymoon. However, if possible, I recommend paying extra to get a table for two. The table next to us had eight seats, and there were three couples in their sixties. It was a bit sad to see the newlyweds there. They seemed to be the target of the older ladies' attention (laughs).

食事はまずまずです。
コースで次々を出てきますが、テーブルによっては隣のﾃｰﾌﾞﾙよりも１品タイミングが遅かったりします。

新婚旅行の方が大多数でした。
ハネムーンにはよいかと思います。
が、可能なら追加払って２人席にしてもらうほうがいいと思います。
隣のﾃｰﾌﾞﾙは８人がけに、６人は６０代くらいの夫婦３組
そこに新婚さんが・・・。　見ていてかわいそうでした。
おばちゃんたちの格好の餌食となっていました（笑）。

As my return home approaches, I tend to feel a bit down, but I'm glad I signed up for the Three Star Sunset Dinner Show on my last day. Although it felt a bit extravagant, I was able to fully immerse myself in the extraordinary experience of my trip.

The food was delicious, featuring a whole lobster and tenderloin steak, and even though I had been craving Japanese food, the quality and content were excellent.

There were clouds on the horizon, so I couldn't see a vibrant sunset, but the sea and sky dyed in crimson were breathtaking. Even from a distance, I was thrilled to see the spouts and tails of whales. (ToT)/~~~

Towards the end, there was a moment when participants stood up to dance, encouraged by the staff, and I think it's best to enjoy it to the fullest. I had a great time dancing and even worked up a sweat while learning some moves. (^^ゞ

帰国が近付くとついついテンションが下がり気味になりますが、最終日にスリースター・サンセットディナーショーに申し込んで良かったです。少し贅沢かと思いつつも、非日常を求めた旅行にどっぷりひたることができました。
料理も丸ごと一匹のロブスター、テンダーロインステーキと日本食が恋しくなっていたにもかかわらず、美味しく頂くことができる質・内容でした。
水平線には雲がでており、鮮やかなサンセットは見れませんでしたが、朱色に染まった海と空は感動的でした。遥か遠くでしたが、クジラの潮吹き・尻尾も見えてさらに感動しました。(ToT)/~~~
終盤には、スタッフの方の盛り上げから参加者が立ち上り、ダンスをする場面もありますが、思いっきり楽しんだほうが良いと思います。私はダンスを教えてもらいながら、汗ばむほど楽しみました(^^ゞ

The weather on the day I participated was wonderful, and I was able to see a very beautiful sunset. Additionally, they held a hula show on the boat after dinner, which made for a fun time.

However, I felt that the dinner menu was a bit lacking. It consisted of three items: salad, a main plate, and dessert, and while the portion size was not an issue...

The music on the boat was all live, and the hula performance was done right in front of us, so it was enjoyable.

This was my first time participating on my honeymoon. I was worried about getting seasick, but the rocking wasn't too bad, so it wasn't a problem. However, for those who are concerned, I think it's better to take motion sickness medication beforehand.
I changed my meal from crab to chicken and fish, but the chicken became tough quickly, so that was disappointing. It seems like the crab is all-you-can-eat. Overall, the food was just okay.
I was able to take some really beautiful sunset shots!
We had a guaranteed window-side couple's seat and received a photo as a gift at the end, which made for a wonderful memory.

今回ハネムーンで初参加しました。酔わないか心配でしたが、揺れもそこまでではなく問題なかったですが、心配な方は酔い止めを飲んで行った方がベターだと思います。
食事はクラブからチキンとフィッシュに変更しましたがチキンはすぐに硬くなってしまったのでそこまででした。クラブは食べ放題の様です。ざんねん。食事はまぁまぁかな。
サンセットすごく綺麗なショットが撮れました☆
窓側カップル席の確約と最後に写真のプレゼントがあり、とても良い思いでになりました。

I booked the Three Star Couple Plan. The weather was great, and I enjoyed the best cruise. I opted for no pick-up service and took the bus there and a taxi back, but I actually had a lot of fun on the bus for the first time. Since I arrived early by bus, I was able to sightsee at Aloha Tower, which became a wonderful memory.

The staff member, Ree, was very helpful. :)

スリースター・カップル用プランを申し込みました。
天気も良く、最高のクルーズを楽しました。
送迎無しにして、行きはバス、帰りにタクシーを使いましたが、初めてのバスも結構楽しめましたよ。
バスで早めについたので、アロハタワーも観光できて、良い想い出になりました。
