This is my approximately 30th time in Hawaii. I believe this is my 7th sunset cruise.

Recently, I have been participating in the Honolulu Marathon consecutively, bringing new people each year, and I always include a visit to Pearl Harbor and the sunset cruise.

Unfortunately, this time felt like a lackluster cruise. I think it had to do with our seating arrangement. We were seated in a group of six in a central area, and besides the seven of us in our 70s, there were two couples of newlyweds from abroad. No matter what we said, there was little response, and it didn't have the lively atmosphere we usually enjoy with the whole table. I wish they would consider age demographics when assigning seats.

Also, I was expecting lobster, but it turned out to be snow crab. (I had promoted it to my friends beforehand.)

But I will probably board again next year.

We attended with our 10-month-old and 2-year-old children, my husband, and my mother-in-law. The staff were very considerate, giving balloons and candy to keep the kids entertained, and they really enjoyed themselves. It seemed like there were many honeymooners around, but I think it would have been nice to have a bit more space between the seats. There was the usual photo session on board, and since we rarely have the chance to take family photos, we decided to purchase them as the kids looked great. It was a wonderful keepsake. My mother-in-law also seemed to have a great time, and I'm glad we participated.

I was satisfied from the moment we set sail! The food was at a level that met my expectations, and above all, the show was wonderful. The staff's attention to detail was very pleasant. You could really feel that each staff member was trying to entertain us.

While it's a classic choice, I think this cruise is highly recommended for the last night.

However, I couldn't help but be disappointed by the attire and footwear of some other passengers. Although there isn't a specific dress code, I wish they would avoid wearing sandals... it really takes away from the experience.

This cruise was so much fun! We really enjoyed the crablegs, and the Mai Tai's are the best in Waikiki! They really get you involved by getting you up to dance and sing! It was my wedding night, so they sang the Hawaiian Wedding Song to me and my new hubby, and the next day was my birthday so they also sang Happy Birthday to me! It was a great, fun, romantic activity, and I would definitely do it again!

About 20 years ago, I boarded a ship when I went to Hawaii, but I didn't remember much. However, after using the service again after a long time, both my wife and I were very satisfied. We took a dinner cruise on the last night to celebrate my parents' 60th birthday and wedding anniversary.

First, we were welcomed with a welcome drink, ukulele music, and hula dancing as we boarded the ship. The staff's service was excellent, and there were staff members who spoke Japanese.

During the vow renewal, the captain acted as the officiant, offering congratulatory words and reciting the vows of love. We brought leis in advance and exchanged them with my parents. It was a wonderful experience to reaffirm their love and support for each other.

After us, a young foreign couple also had a vow renewal ceremony. Following that, we enjoyed champagne while taking photos with the captain and our family. The sunset was incredibly romantic.

The food was average, but the champagne included in the package, as well as the cocktails and non-alcoholic cocktails available with coupons, were very Hawaiian and delicious. The jazz performance was lovely as well.

It might be a good idea to take something for motion sickness. We used a limousine for transportation. Since we don't usually ride in limousines in Japan, it was a great experience.

サンセットはとてもロマンチックでした。
料理は普通でしたが、パックについていたシャンパンや、クーポンで飲むことが出来るカクテル、ノンアルコールカクテルがハワイらしく、味もとても美味しかったです。
ジャズ演奏もステキでした。
乗り物酔いは飲んだほうが良いかもしれません。
送迎はリムジンを利用しました。日本では乗ることがないので、良い体験ができました。
少し料金は高くなりますが、お祝いにはぴったりです。両親にとても喜んでもらえました。

The food was not especailly great (except the cream puffs--defrosted frozen, love them!), and I was surprised that the alcohol was not good quality and the beer was limited to two types. We just sailed back and forth for about 1 1/2 hours off the coast of Waikiki, saw fireworks that lasted about 10 mins, and couldn't see them well unless you were on the front of the boat (and not everyone could fit up there. The crew were polite but not very interactive. Wouldn't do it again.

I booked a Three Star cruise.
There were mostly Japanese participants.

Since we didn't have a couple's seat, we shared a table with another couple.

Even though we weren't at a window seat, the atmosphere was relaxed enough that it was fine to walk around freely, so around sunset, everyone went out to the deck to take photos. (The deck is a bit narrow, but) it was very beautiful.
The night view was also very romantic.

The lobster and meat dishes were very delicious.
We happened to be seated close to the entertainment show, so we were able to enjoy it up close.

The musicians and singers were also very accommodating for photos.

At the end, all the participants formed a circle and danced!
The staff's enthusiasm was amazing.

If you're hoping for a slow and relaxed experience until the end, this might be a bit different, but it was great to talk with various people.

The staff took photos with a dedicated camera, but buying them for $25 seemed a bit high...
But since it's a memory, I bought it.

窓側の席でなくても、自由に立ち歩いても問題ない雰囲気でしたので、サンセットくらいの時にはみなさん写真撮影のためにデッキに出ていました。（デッキは少し狭いですが）
とっても綺麗でしたよ^^
夜景もよてもロマンチックでした。

お料理のロブスターとお肉はとてもおいしかったです。
エンターテイメントショーも、たまたま席が近かったので間近でとても楽しむことが出来ました。

演奏家の方や、歌手の方は写真撮影にも快く応えて頂きました。

最後には参加者全員で輪になってダンス！
スタッフの方の盛り上げもすごかったです。

最後までゆっくりのんびりと…というのを希望の方はちょっと違うかもしれませんが、色んな方とお話出来てよかったです。

専用のカメラでスタッフの方が写真を撮ってくださるのですが、買い取りとなると25ドルはちょーっと高いような…？
でも思い出なので、買いました☆

総合的に、夫婦共にとても楽しめました♪

I participated with my elderly parents and my brother and his wife. This is my fourth time in Hawaii, but I had always hesitated to join a sunset cruise, thinking it was too cliché. However, classic experiences are indeed wonderful. The scenery was beautiful, and above all, I was impressed by the high level of entertainment provided by the staff and performers. Their dedication to ensuring guests have a great time made me feel like I was truly in America, setting the stage for a wonderful trip.

Since it was the first night of our trip and I was still feeling tired from the flight, I opted for the most convenient buffet-style course, but it was more than satisfactory. I wore a kimono as a joke, and they responded with "Oh! Kimono!!" My parents were also delighted. Thank you very much.

両親も喜んでおりました。ありがとうございました。
