While gazing at the shimmering Waikiki during sunset as the sun sets over the ocean, I was captivated by the beauty of the sunset. The meal was of the lowest rank, but the roast beef was delicious and all-you-can-eat. Before the tour bus arrived, I went directly to the boarding area and was the first to board, so naturally, I got a window seat! All other seats are shared. However, everyone can enjoy the sunset from the deck on the fourth floor.

The all-you-can-eat crab was great, but I would have liked to have scissors and a plate for the shells (there was something like a nutcracker provided). The homemade mashed potatoes were quite delicious. It felt a bit hectic, but the staff were pleasant, and I am satisfied.

Since my partner requested to go on a dinner cruise, we participated in the Star of Honolulu Sunset Dinner Cruise. I didn't have many good memories from dinner cruises at other beach resorts, but as expected in Hawaii, this one was much better than any I had experienced before. The ship was beautiful, and the five-star cuisine was delicious. We were able to create wonderful memories in a great atmosphere with live piano and jazz performances. My partner was very happy with the commemorative photo with the captain. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset from the deck, and I appreciate the staff for taking our pictures despite their busy schedule. If the sunset time is earlier, we could also enjoy the night view of Waikiki, so I would like to use this service again.

Since it was titled a dinner cruise, I dressed up, but it was completely inappropriate... Everyone was in shorts and flip-flops. On the boat, we were instructed to take off our shoes. There was very little space to sit, and we stood for two hours, being rocked back and forth. The number of guests complaining of nausea gradually increased, and we were almost in a situation where the restroom couldn't be used. Fortunately, I had taken motion sickness medication, so I managed to get through it, but I was worried about the restroom, so I didn't eat or drink anything. Finally, after a long wait, the fireworks lasted only a few minutes... It was just kind of disappointing.

ディナークルーズというタイトルであったので、ドレスアップしたのですが、まったくのお門違いで・・・皆短パンにビーチサンダル。船上では靴を脱げの指示。着席出来るスペースも少なくて2時間立ちっぱなしの揺られっぱなし。吐き気を訴える客が次第に増えて、危うくトイレが使用できない状態になる寸前でした。私は幸い酔い止めを飲んでいったのでなんとか切り抜けましたが、トイレのことが心配で、飲まず食わすでした。やっと待って上がった花火も数分間で・・・なんだかなぁ～って感じでした。

We went on a trip to Hawaii to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary and used this tour. Since it was during the Obon season, we made our reservation online six months in advance. The sunset was, of course, beautiful, and seeing the city of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the boat was wonderful. We had a guaranteed window seat, enjoyed dinner at a table for two, and even received a luxurious commemorative photo as a gift, which made my wife very happy! It was a great memory!

I applied just before leaving Japan, considering the weather. I wanted to show my children the wonderful sunset we experienced 17 years ago with my husband, so we participated. My son, who was born in July, was invited to dance the hula and danced with a few guests. In Japan, he would be too shy to do that, but in the cheerful atmosphere of Hawaii, he was able to do it! This became a great memory. After enjoying a lot at the buffet, we stepped out onto the deck for a photo opportunity with the cityscape of Waikiki and Diamond Head in the background! The sunset view was breathtaking! It was a moment when I thought, "I'm so glad I came!" The sunset was perfect too. Since it was a large cruise ship, I didn't feel any seasickness at all, and I was able to enjoy a wonderful time with a bit of a luxurious feeling.

Crews on the boat are professional and helpful. They did an excelent job in making it an enjoyable trip on the sea. Watching the golden sun vanishing into the ocean, eventhough we did not make encounter with the dolphinss, yet it was an unforgetable pleasant experience.

This was my second time participating, and I really enjoyed it. The view of Diamond Head from the boat was exceptionally beautiful. This time, I used the venue for a meal with family after the ceremony. My impression is that it was average. I read reviews that said it was really good, so I had high expectations, but honestly, it wasn't as great as I had hoped. However, it wasn't bad either. It was enjoyable as one activity. With over 100 people crowded together, it wasn't a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy the sunset or have a meal; rather, it felt like dining amidst the noise of a theme park, especially with the entertainment of hula dancing.

The food was normally tasty. However, while crab is all-you-can-eat, due to the overwhelming number of people, when I requested more crab, it didn't come out quickly, and I had to wait. It felt like the staff were managing multiple tables by themselves and might have forgotten my order.

Overall, it was neither particularly good nor bad.

We had a blast!, great food, all you can eat crab legs. great service and great show! If you're still deciding what dinner cruise you should take, here's your answer! You can't go wrong! My suggestion take this event as your grand finale of your vacation, probably on the last day of your trip. Thanks so much hawaiian activities, they added Hanauma Bay trip as a extra bonus at no cost( but you need to pay for the entrance fee)which you can not missed! My family and I had a wonderful time.

I participated with my mother in her 60s. The interior of the Star of Honolulu was smaller than I expected, and the distance between tables was quite close. Additionally, the air conditioning was effective, so it got cold after a while; I think having a cardigan or something similar would be good. When I was picked up by the bus, there were only Japanese people, and I thought, "What a shame to come all the way to Hawaii for this." A little while ago, at the end of 2011, I participated in an event where we could see fireworks from a boat.

We set sail around dusk, and there were about 20 people, I think? I had heard it was an English tour, but it was quite accommodating for Japanese speakers, so it wasn't a problem if you couldn't speak much.

The meal was served buffet-style. There were a decent variety of dishes, and I thought the food itself was tasty. I believe drinks were included for the first two.

The fireworks lasted about 15 minutes. If you imagine a Japanese fireworks festival, it might feel a bit lacking.

However, if you focus on the value of seeing fireworks from a boat, I don't think it's bad at all.

Personally, I felt my level of satisfaction was just okay.

Beautiful views from the boat, areas on boat need work

My grandmother and I chose this as something different to do from the sightseeing and beach time we had been enjoying. The transportation is great even for those of us that are familiar with the island, and well worth the additional cost. The seating area is packed and truly would be more enjoyable with fewer people crammed in. The food and service were far better than expected and the "All You Can Eat" crab truly lives up to the name. The boat from an external view is beautiful and makes a striking appearance out on the open ocean. On the decks there are areas that could be maintained better, especially the areas that food is served from and are in plain view of guests. The top deck is amazing for catching sight of the city line and would be a great place to spend a romantic evening with a significant other. Overall this is something that I am glad we experienced and would be willing to take others on.

This was my second time participating. Last time it was a three-star experience. This time I tried a one-star, but I preferred the three-star. It must be the difference in price. The food wasn't that different, but the show was different. The three-star experience had more flair. However, the staff's smiles were great, and I was satisfied as I enjoyed my meal.

２度目の参加でした。前回は３スターでした。
今回は１スターにしてみましたが３スターの方が良かったです。やはり値段の違いでしょう。
料理はさほど違いは無かったですが、ショーが違ってましたね。
華やかさが３スターの方がありましたよ。
でもスタッフの笑顔がいいし、楽しんで食事が出来て満足でした。
