Reviewed by: monica, 2009/09/11The ride from Waikiki was long, but the driver entertained us with great facts. The hike to the waterfall was nice. Unfortunately there seemed to not be enough time to do two activities in the morning. We hiked back down to the beach and only had enough time to jump in the water before pick up. I missed jumping off the rocks:( The kayak was relaxing and provided us with a great tan!

Oahu Grand Circle Tour
Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2009/07/23We enjoyed the Oahu Sightseeing Tour (Grand Circle Island Tour w/ Kualoa Ranch and Dole Pineapple Plantation). Our driver/tour guide "Napi" had so much information to share with us - he really made this trip interesting. I learned many things about the island that I would not have known about had we gone on this trip by ourselves in a rental car The price was reasonable and worth it. I recommend this to anyone coming to Oahu.

Awesome time!!
Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2009/07/15I highly recommend this tour to anyone who has never been to Hawaii!! Our tour guide was super nice and very knowledgeable. We rode the beach cruiser and it was really nice to just ride along the beach, but you have to be careful as you do share the road with cars. It was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki and spend the whole day at the North Shore. We had an awesome time and I cannot wait to do it again.

Justin's Surf Bus was Awesome!
Reviewed by: Chris B, 2009/05/30The Surf Bus tour to the North Shore was the best tour that we took. Our driver Justin was awesome. On the tour of the island he was very knowledgable and pointed out lots of things that we would have missed if we had just taken a rental car. This tour also gave us lots of options as far as activities and a choice of beaches to spend time at. Waimea Bay was the best beach on the island and the jumping rock was a lot of fun. I would recomend this tour to anyone!

Nappy RULES!!
Reviewed by: Dar from San Diego, 2009/03/17Nappy, our bus driver and tour guide, made our tour fun, friendly and informative! He is a great storyteller and really takes an interest in his guests. All day tours in large busses are often long and grueling but he took the time to get to make sure that everyone was safe and was able to enjoy each stop to the fullest. My cousin, who is a local but has never played 'tourist', thought he was wonderful! She said that she never thought taking an island tour could be so much fun. Mahalo nui loa, Nappy! You are 'no ka oi' and we love you!

Amazing Adventure!
Reviewed by: Jamie & Bobby, 2009/02/02Our tour guide Justin picked us up promptly outside our hotel when expected. He was very laid-back and friendly. We had a small group of 10. The bike ride was wonderful!! I would recommend it to everyone. Justin pointed out the must-see beaches (Pipeline, Sunset, Waimea) and north shore roadside eateries. North shore was unbelievable, unlike anything I've ever experienced. On the second half of the tour, we rode paddle boards which was also a blast! It was quite an upper body workout and was inexpensive too. Justin was very knowledgeable about the history of HI and kept us entertained during the drive. I would highly suggest everyone take this tour!

Reviewed by: Dan & Brenda, 2008/10/27Loved the tour. Our tour guide was "Ed" very friendly and knowledgeable. Also entertaining.
This was a fantastic day. It was nice to go and see the places we wouldn't have seen if we had driven around the island. So much would have been missed if we hadn't taken the tour.
We do plan to do it again sometime. We would recommend this to anyone wanting a nice adventure.

Reviewed by: Rickster, 2008/09/02I took the biking tour through North Shore. Justin was a very good guide and showed us the ins and outs of the North Shore community. Justin showed me the best routes to take with my mountain bike. The tour was right on time and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this tour as it is a great value. It was a nice touch that water and snacks were provided on board.

The beach part was great not "hike"

All the interesting parts that might be qualified as hikes were barred as off limits for falling rock or just closed off. Also, the change in elevation was laughable. It was more like going to a park.
The waterfall actually had water, but not enough water yet for swimming, which was teh main point of it. That part was very underwhelming.
The snorkeling on teh beach was great. Amazing area and great knowledgeable staff/tour guides. highly recommend that part.

We had young children in our group and he entertained them a lot of the way, along with the rest of us. Very informative and wonderful way to see the island. Only negative, would have liked to have just a little more time at the Dole Plantation.

Worth It
Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2008/05/16I really enjoyed this trip, we didn't rent a car in Oahu and this was a great way to see the North Shore. We learned a great deal of Hawaiian history on the way up. And the town and Waimeia Beach are incredible. We snorkeled and swam in the waterfall at waimeia (?), it was a cool day but the water was temperate and so fresh - if you go to the waterfall swim in the lake surrounding it - its really wonderful. Bonzai Pipeline had no waves though so I'll have to go back in the winter.

WE LOVE RONGO!!
Reviewed by: The, 2008/04/28We had a great time on this tour. We saw a little bit of everything. Rongo, our guide, was so much fun, and so knowledgable. He had so much personal knowledge of the island we often felt like we were somehow being driven around by an old friend who wanted to 'show us around'. Rongo was just a great, great guide. We had fun. We had time to take pictures anywhere we stopped, never felt rushed or hurried. Loved everything we saw and felt like we got a very complete 'view' of the island as well as it's history and all of the things that made 'Oahu'....Oahu. We took this tour our second day in Oahu in case we stumbled across something we would want to spend more time investigating later. We're glad we did. Rongo was also willing to give us tips on great places to eat, or grab a drink. We really had fun!

Awesome Time in North Shore
Reviewed by: Terry, 2008/03/04This was our first trip to Hawaii, and we wanted to make sure that we don't miss North Shore, but didn't want to take a typical sightseeing tour on a huge bus with 50 other people. This tour turns out to be a great one with a lot of personal touch. We were able to enjoy a full day on Waimea Bay, just relaxing, snorkeling, swimming, etc. A perfect day on the north shore. We were also able to check out the Haleiwa Town to do some shopping. There are a lot of artists living there to sell their beautiful arts. Highly recommended!

Definately worth it for firsttimers
Reviewed by: Bryan, 2008/02/08Rongo, our driver, was very fun and entertaining. From picking us up to dropping us off he had excellent information to share and plenty of jokes to tell. Even after most people were dropped off and we were the last ones to our hotel, he was giving us little tidbits of information on good eating and fun attractions. This is a trip everyone should see on their first visit to oahu, and the dole plantation is a must.
