Full day but fantastic tour
Reviewed by: Nicola, 2018/11/05Great tour, our driver ‘Captain Ron’ was great, very informative and someone who really loves his job! Pick up time was 07:30 so a bit later than other full day tours which we preferred too. Only issue was that we picked some people up from the airport coming from Maui who had missed their flight so had to wait for an hour, but Captain Ron kept us entertained and we still had plenty of time at each place.
Personally I loved the video and the boat trip around the Missouri but my husband loved the Aviation museum. Would definitely recommend this tour and plenty to see and do!

We had the Missouri in Washington state for many years and it was so great to see what a wonderful job Hawaii has done in taking care of this part of history. I learned so much history I didn't know about this war and these ships. The tour driver we had was one of the most knowledgeable ones I'd ever had he told us a lot of info we didn't learn on the tour. Not sure how to spell his name Kaleo I think. I would love to do it again as there was so much to learn.

Royal Star Pearl Harbor Guided Tour with Arizona Memorial & Battleship Missouri
Great day out
Reviewed by: Kevin Connolly, 2018/09/19From pick up to drop off we had a fantastic day out, disappointed that the Arizona memorial was closed due to the damaged supports however we did get to view it from the boat that takes you out, our driver Marlon was very knowledgeable about honolulu and surrounding area, we had time to visit downtown including the Iolani palace, 5 o headquarters and chinatown, I would have no hesitation in recommending this tour and would do it again.

Passport to Pearl Harbor Ticket - Official One-Day Admission & Self-Guided Tour
This is ALL YOU NEED!!
Reviewed by: R James, 2018/09/11Don't waste your money on a guided, "skip the line" tour. This ticket is all you need to see everything at Pearl Harbor. You will need to get your own transportation to/from Pearl Harbor but there are options, TheBus.org, The Waikiki Trolley, Uber/Lyft, etc.
We arrived around 8:00 AM on a Saturday and walked right up to the ticket counter to get our ticket and then again right up to the USS Arizona Memorial ticket counter to get this ticket. NO waiting, NO line, NO worry of not getting in on one of the 1300 free USS Arizona Memorial tickets.
The audio tours of the USS Arizona Memorial (note due to maintenance issues we could not get off at the USS Arizona Memorial but we still took the boat tour around it) & the USS Bowfin were great and allow you to go at your own pace. We took the guided tour of the USS Missouri and then you have time at the end to wonder around below deck on your own. There was one additional stop included but we chose not to get off there. This gives you complete flexibility of how to spend your day at Pearl Harbor.
There are a few food options. We chose the food truck at the USS Missouri. It was very good.
This is a Must Do for any American! Very educational and sobering.

Excellent service amazing experience

We got to spend an extra hour at Pearl Harbor because our guide was given our tickets early so he let us take advantage of that which was very nice. The day could not have turned out better than it did, even if we tried.

Very Informative Tour - Our Driver Larry Was Excellent
Reviewed by: Outrigger Guest, 2018/07/07Very comfortable bus with a bathroom. Our driver Larry provided a plethora of information about Oahu and Pearl Harbor. Highly recommend both the Arizona and Missouri tours. Take the guided tour on the Missouri as the guide will point out many facts and stories you would not otherwise learn. Food stands at the Missouri are much better than what's available at the Arizona so if you want to snack hold off until you get to the Missouri. This was a great tour and I highly recommend it!

Reviewed by: Hawaii518, 2018/05/29Just getting back from Hawaii and had to rate this tour to help all of you out there, like myself, who maybe confused on which tour to take when u r in Hawaii. I definitely would recommend you this one with my experience with Larry as our tour guide. He was very informative as well as funny to keep the fun alive atmosphere (especially in the early morning). It included a great city tour visiting the famous palace too and then a chance to visit Pearl Harbor and The Arizona Memorial. The tour was not too long either so it’s perfect for us since we have two middle school aged kids and can plan to do something else later in the day. Unfortunately we did not get to step onto the Arizona Memorial itself due to a crack being repaired currently but it ensured a time slot for us to visit the site after watching a 20 min video clip on the event. Overall, excellent experience and great tour! Thanks Larry!

Only disappointment was we had to pick up 1 tour member at the airport and waited for over a half hour for him and he wasn't even there, he showed up later on. We could have used that extra half hour for site seeing on the USS Missouri or other museums at Pearl Harbor. Guide Jay was knowledgeable and engaging. Overall, a great tour with lots to see!

Passport to Pearl Harbor Ticket - Official One-Day Admission & Self-Guided Tour
What can I say? It’s Pearl Harbor

Lots of historical exhibits with helpful tour guides.
Lots of information for those not familiar with the events leading up to the attack.
As a history major and WW2 buff, this was a must-see for me, especially as my grandfather was aboard the USS Dobbin that morning.
Don’t forget to check out Ford Island and the airplane exhibits there.
Be sure to bring a few extra bills and leave donations in the boxes aboard the ships and help preserve our history for generations to come.

Interesting but unforeseen closures
Reviewed by: Heather, 2018/05/09The tour was really interesting and opened up my eyes about what happened at Pearl Harbour however the Arizona Memorial happened to be closed. One great thing about the tour was hat everyone was really on time so we were able to stop at the palace for 20 mins and walk around and take pictures. The driver was amazing with giving information and thinking on his feet giving us more time at places, very smart and great speaker, and also dropped people off at Waikiki destinations rather than hotels if they desired.

A humbling and educational day.

We fell a bit behind schedule on the way back but that was due to traffic and Genshin was nice enough to wait an extra 5-10 minutes for the late passengers. The guided tour portion at Pearl Harbor was brief but it gave everyone a chance to explore the Arizona Memorial and USS Missouri for themselves. A good experience overall.

Very Humbling Day
Reviewed by: Dan B, 2017/12/03We were picked up on time by a very professional and knowledgeable driver who explained everything we needed to know before entering Pearl Harbor. We had time to visit the museum buildings which included many relics from the era and the gift shop before entering the building where a short film is seen. We then boarded a boat piloted by military personnel who brought us to the memorial. Once we entered the memorial we we asked to keep conversations to a whisper to respect the souls below. It was a very humbling moment for us all. We were then taken back to shore and boarded our bus to head to the Missouri. We were told NOT to take any pictures while driving they the military base until we got to the Missouri, There are lots of places to have a quick meal before and after boarding the Ship. Once you're on the ship you can go out on your own or take a free guided tour which I would suggest. because all of the important areas like where the surrender took place. After the tour you will still have time to walk about the ship and to go beneath to view crew quarters and other areas of interest. After leaving the ship we boarded our bus, picked up our bags and purses at the locker area (not allowed at Pearl Harbor) and headed to the Punch Bowl for a short drive thru to pay our respects then to our hotels. This was a very informative tour done by a great drive who also acted as the tour guide. He didn't miss a thing and made us feel that we were back un the day with his presentation. His company would be very proud of him!!

Our guide/bus driver Larry was a wealth of knowledge on everything from Hawaiian history to all the buildings in the area and I learnt so much that I would have never known without him. He also told us plenty about Pearl Harbour too and made sure we knew what we were doing. He was very funny too and you could tell he was very experienced and qualified for his job, it was a fantastic experience and definitely worth my money.

We could organise the tours better if he told us how much time other tours take. The Battleship tour definitely worth it, we stayed behind for it.
