The show was overall good, especially the fire dance at the end. And the chief is quite talented because he needs to run the show, tell jokes and play drums.

Anyway,
This luau is inside the water park, and we use the restroom inside the water park which is a 5 minutes away from the luau place. Before the sun goes down, it’s very hot and sweaty. And we don’t have much space while seating. The experience was not pleasant.

Also, after everyone takes a picture and ready to seat down, they give u a cup of mai tai and takes one of the drink tickets. Don’t take that Mai Tai drink right away, just go to the bar section for the drinks.

And there are one thing I can’t figure it out, before the buffet starts, they showed us a roast pig and said this is gonna be one of the main course tonight. And everyone go line up for the buffet, the only dish pork-related is the pull pork which has nothing to do with the roast pig for sure. And they didn’t cut the roast pig in front of everyone. It looks like the roast pig is one of the actor for the luau.

For the price we are paying, we expect more.

This was my first time boarding the "Catamaran" with my wife and our 25-year-old daughter. To put it mildly, it was "the best." Every time I walk along Waikiki Beach in Hawaii, which I have visited many times, I would see the "Mai Tai Catamaran" but would pass by without paying much attention. When a friend who is well-versed in Hawaii asked me, "Have you ever been on the Catamaran?" and I replied, "I know about it, but I haven't," he exclaimed, "What are you doing in Hawaii? You can't start your Hawaii experience without riding the Catamaran! It would be pointless to go to Hawaii!" I thought he was being a bit dramatic, but his enthusiasm piqued my interest, and I attempted to board once, but that year (2019, before the pandemic), it was fully booked every day. I resolved that the next time I went to Hawaii, I would definitely ride the Catamaran, and I made my reservation around the same time I booked my flight tickets.

On the day of my reservation in early August 2022, we went to the check-in area on the beach in front of the Sheraton at the designated time, confirmed our reservation with the voucher, and then walked barefoot along the shoreline to board the "Catamaran," being careful not to bring sand onto the boat. Two capable crew members skillfully prepared for departure, and as the boat smoothly pulled away from the beach and floated into the sea, an extraordinary feeling and excitement washed over me. I understood what my friend meant. The Catamaran proceeded slowly offshore, paying attention to the surfers near the beach, and after a while, it raised its sails and picked up speed. I was moved by the view of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the ocean, a perspective I had never seen before. The crew announced that drinks were ready, and we toasted as a family on board. The blue sea, blue sky, the scent of Hawaii, the sound of the ocean breeze, upbeat background music, and the sound of the sails fluttering all combined to create an indescribably exquisite moment that my vocabulary cannot capture.

After a while, we were delighted to see dolphins playing alongside the Catamaran. As the sun approached the horizon, I felt a twinge of regret as the boat drew closer to the beach. The cruise ended as we returned to Waikiki Beach around sunset. If I have the opportunity to go to Hawaii again, I will definitely board the Catamaran. 今回初めて、私、妻、25歳の娘の家族３名で「カタマラン号」に乗船しました。控えめに申し上げても「最高」でした。幾度となく訪れているハワイ、ワイキキビーチを散歩するたび毎回のように見掛けていた「マイタイ・カタマラン号」、あまり気も留めずに船の前を素通りしていました。ハワイ通の友人から「カタマラン号に乗った事ある？」と尋ねられ「知っているけど無い」と答えると、「何しにハワイに行ってるの！カタマラン号に乗らないとハワイは始まらないよ！ハワイに行った意味がないよ！」と友人、まぁまぁ大袈裟な話と思っていましたが、やけに熱く語っていたのが気になり一度乗船を試みるのですが、その年(コロナ禍前の2019年)は連日予約完売で乗船出来ずでした。次回ハワイに行く事ができれば、絶対にカタマラン号に乗る！と決意し、今回は航空券の予約とほぼ同時期に予約をしました。

2022年8月上旬予約当日、集合時刻にシェラトン前のビーチにある受付に行き
バウチャーで予約確認、その後、砂浜に乗り上げた形で留っている「カタマラン号」へ裸足で波打ち際を歩き船に砂を載せないよう注意深く乗船します。2人の頼もしい操船スタッフが手際よく出航させるのですが、船が砂浜から「すーっ」と離れ船が完全に海に「ふわー」と浮いた瞬間から非日常的な感覚とワクワク感が襲ってきます。これがハワイ通の友人が言っていた事なのかと納得。カタマラ号はビーチ付近のサーファー達に気を配りながらゆっくりと沖合へ進み、しばらくすると帆を上げスピードアップ、ワイキキの街並みやダイヤモンドヘッドを今まで見ていた逆の目線、海からの景色に感動します。操船スタッフからドリンクが用意できていますとアナウンス、そして船上で家族で乾杯。青色の海、青色の空、ハワイの香り、潮風の音、アップテンポなBGM、帆がなびく音、それぞれが相まって私の語彙力では表現出来ない何とも言えない極上の時間です。
暫くするとイルカ達がカタマラン号と一緒に遊ぶ姿を見せてくれました。
太陽が水平線近づき、次第に船が沖合からビーチが近くになるのが残念に思えます。サンセット、日没と同時ぐらいにワイキキビーチへ戻りカタマラン号のクルーズは終わりとなります。次回またハワイに行く事が出来れば必ずカタマラン号に乗船します。

This was the best way to cap off our O'ahu vacation by having a relaxing snorkel, a crazy banana boat ride, easy paddle boarding and just chilling in the ocean surrounded by some of the most gorgeous scenery you could find anywhere. The crew were fantastic and so friendly, they were patient with everyone and even got to chat with Preston about him moving from Mesa, AZ (we're from Scottsdale, AZ). If we are ever in O'ahu again, we are absolutely doing this as it was so fun an easy and one of the most enjoyable things we did while on the island. Definitely worth our money and time - give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

I think it's better to choose a tour that is as close to low tide as possible when making a reservation. The depth of the sandbar is about waist-deep, and the beautiful shallow waters seen in the promotional photos continue for a long stretch. While we can't choose the weather, I believe that without strong sunlight, the contrast in photos won't be as striking. It was cloudy in the morning for us, but as we headed out to sea, the clouds cleared, and the sun came out, giving us the best experience. Of course, we also enjoyed snorkeling with sea turtles. I brought my prescription underwater goggles and wore a life jacket, allowing me to swim in the shallow waters of about 2 to 3 meters and see the sea turtles. It truly became a wonderful memory for our family of four. Thank you very much.

予約時になるべく干潮の時間帯に近いツアーを選択したほうが良いと思います。サンドバーの深さが腰程度となり広告写真で見られる美しい浅瀬がずーっと続きます。また天候は選べませんが太陽光線がしっかりないと写真のようなコントラストにならないと思います。私たちは朝曇っていたのですが沖に出ていくタイミングで雲が無くなり太陽が顔を出し最高の経験をさせてもらいました。もちろんシュノーケリングでウミガメも堪能しました。私は水泳用の度付きの水中眼鏡を持参しライフジャケット着用で水深2，3mの浅瀬を泳ぎながらウミガメを見ることが出来ました。本当に家族4人で良い思い出となりました。ありがとうございました。

One of the best things I’ve ever done. The captain and her mate were exceptional! They talked us through our fears, educated us about the sharks, and we got to see sharks- loaaads of sharks! Right there. I’m all their beauty. I highly recommend this tour to anyone thinking about it - just do it. Nothing to fear. All safe and just an experience of a lifetime!

A must do! This was the highlight of our family trip to Hawaii. The crew was amazing and the weather was perfect. We were able to see so many turtles up close it was awesome!

I was worried about seasickness, but the time passed quickly and we arrived in no time.

It was awesome. The way the lines went through the park and the view was outstanding. The instructors and the other members of our group made the adventure even more special. Would recommend this 1000%.

We were the only Japanese participants, but it was reassuring to have Japanese staff. We were able to see dolphins right after snorkeling. During our free time, we also got to experience paddle boarding and a slide. We were able to see sea turtles up close as well.

日本人の参加者は私達だけでしたが、日本人スタッフがいて安心しました。
シュノーケリングで潜ってからすぐにイルカに会えました。
自由時間にはパドルボートや、滑り台も体験できました。
ウミガメも近くで見れました。

Our guide was the nicest and most welcoming guide with a good sense of humor. He also took so many photos and videos of us along the way and AirDropped them to us afterwards without anyone even asking him too. Also the ATV riding was awesome and everybody needs to make sure they take a turn to drive. Just don’t be like my wife and wear a white tee if you ever expect to wear it white again as the red dirt will do a number on it. 100% we will be doing this again next time we are in Hawaii and will recommend this to everyone.

This was an all day tour and we’ll worth doing the deluxe package. Wes was our driver. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Even though it rained we still got to see sights from the bus! Polynesian culture center was outstanding. I thought I was getting luau but it was a buffet. But the Breath of Life show was worth the whole day!! Outstanding!!!! Highly recommend adding this to your package!

The friendly staff and outgoing nature of the performers kept my husband and I engaged and satisfied the entire time! Great outdoor space for the little ones! Can’t beat the view!!! Definitely worth the trip to roam the legendary grounds of The Royal Hawaiian.

Mr. Susumu, our guide, was amazing. He was well-informed about both the local area and Japan, and he guided us while engaging in fun conversations. The tour was enjoyable in a relaxed atmosphere from start to finish. The lunch at Tantalus Lookout was also fantastic.

If you’re thinking about doing this cruise, don’t think about it, just do it!!! We had such amazing time and their hospitality was off the charts! They went above and beyond! The views were awesome and to top it off, you can bring your own food and drinks!

This adventure is one for the memory books!! We had an incredible time throughout the tour. Our guide was extremely friendly, which helped make the experience top notch. Photos are taken and provided without additional cost from your ride. 10/10 would highly recommend!

Will do again when we visit the islands again.

Vicky our tour guide was awesome, knowledgable and managed to ensure we had an amazing time visiting different areas and also rearranging stops if other activities were unavailable due to weather . Coming from England meant I have to put faith in other peoples reviews of the circle island tours and 100% no regrets. Loves every minute

LOVED our experience. Everything was amazing! Due to no rainfall/drought the waterfall wasn’t flowing but the views were still Beautiful!

I checked the tide times, but the best times were late at night or early in the morning, which didn't match the tour schedule, so I was worried about how much I would enjoy it. However, I was able to see sea turtles and many fish, which made me very satisfied. The spam sushi we had on the boat was surprisingly delicious. The sea was beautiful, and I'm really glad I participated.

満ち引きの時間帯を見たけど、ベストな時間帯が夜中や朝方でツアーの時間帯に合わず、参加してどれくらい楽しめるか心配でしたが、海亀は見れたくさんの魚も見れて満足です。船で食べたスパム握りがことの他美味しかったです。海が綺麗で、ほんとに参加して良かったです。

Great drinks, great views, great company. We absolutely loved it. Lasting memories were made. 10/10 would go again and would recommend.

The weather was nice, we played beach volleyball at the sandbar, and we saw many sea turtles. Snorkeling was great too, as we saw a lot of fish, and the hamburgers were delicious. The staff was friendly, and we had a great time.

お天気も良く、サンドバーでビーチバレーし、ウミガメにもたくさん会えました。シュノーケリングもたくさん魚が見れてよかったですし、ハンバーガーも美味しかった、スタッフさんもフレンドリーで楽しかったです。

Circle island tour was disappointing for the cost. This tour was more expensive compared to others that had the same stops. The waterfall stop was allotted for 2 hours, but the waterfall didn’t have water. We specifically did this tour instead of others because of the waterfall stop. We could of saved at least $80 if it was a known thing that the waterfall frequently doesn’t have water.

The driver was overall knowledgeable and kind. He did eat while talking into the mic and driving, which is distracting. All the group could concentrate on was the chewing. He also constantly tapped both the brake and gas causing a jerking motion for 10 hour straight. Thankfully no one in our group easily gets car sick.

This was the most amazing thing to do. My sister and I really enjoyed the ziplining with the two girls we had guiding us through it. What a most beautiful hot day to sweat. But the zipling was a very good experience I would suggest anyone go do it now! It's so fun! There's so much to do there besides zipling too.

After three years, I participated in a sunset cruise on a catamaran in Hawaii. It was so much fun. Seeing Waikiki and Diamond Head from the sea, the sunset, and the sky turning pink afterward was breathtaking. There was a rainbow over Waikiki. We laughed out loud while getting splashed by the waves, and we even started singing together. It was a truly enjoyable time.

Since you might get wet, it's best to wear clothes that can get wet and keep your valuables in a waterproof bag. There was storage available, but there's a chance of getting splashed by the waves.

I definitely plan to participate again on my next trip to Hawaii.

3年ぶりのハワイで
カタマランでのサンセットクルーズに参加しました。
とにかく楽しかった。
海から見るワイキキやダイヤモンドヘッド、
サンセットとそのあとにピンクに染まる空。
ワイキキにかかる虹。
波しぶきを浴びて大笑いしたり、大合唱が始まったり、
とても楽しい時間でした。

濡れる可能性があるので参加には濡れていい服で、
貴重品は防水バッグに入れておくといいですね。
収納場所がありましたが波を受ける可能性もあるので。

次回のハワイでも絶対参加しようと思います。

My friends and I had the most amazing and fun experience with Justin, Jeff, and Sailor Jerry!! We got to see the beautiful island from miles off the coast and into the deep blue waters. The waves were big and exciting, and if you’re in the right spot, you’ll get soaked! The alcohol wasn’t just one big jug of Mai Tai or beers, they had an amazing selection and the best bartenders who made the excursion so special and memorable. I would definitely take this cruise again and again!

First time snorkeling but Lifeguard teaches very simple and I had great time!!! Everyone (staffs)are very nice and very helpful thank you guys I will do again
