Joining was definitely the right choice! First of all, we were blessed with great weather and sea conditions. I had only experienced dinner cruises in Hawaii, but this time I participated with high expectations for a high-speed yacht. The friendly staff and their humorous interactions were enjoyable, but unfortunately, the waves got to me and I ended up feeling seasick and sleeping on the way back. Still, the ride there was very refreshing. It included drinks and donuts, and at just $7, it was a great deal. I would like to try it again when I go back to Hawaii.

On July 24th, my daughter (6th grade) and I participated in a sunset cruise. Out of about 20 participants, we were the only Japanese. The meal included three types of food and cookies. While there was still food left by the end, the cookies disappeared quickly. These cookies are delicious. The explanations during boarding were, of course, in English, but later the captain provided individual explanations. Just being on the boat was enjoyable. The view of Waikiki, Diamond Head, and the sunset from the ocean was wonderful. My daughter was able to take a commemorative photo at the driver's seat, and although she was initially nervous about the language barrier, as time went on, she seemed to be captivated by the charm of the boat. As we approached the end, she kept saying, "It's almost over..." I was happy to be able to talk with others on board using my limited English vocabulary. Since we participated in a campaign, I gave a small tip when we disembarked. On the way back, we took the bus to Waikiki from the bus stop right in front of us. Fortunately, the bus arrived quickly. I think it would be satisfying even at the regular price. I want to ride the Makani again!! The captain was wonderful too.

7/24に娘（小6）と二人でサンセットクルーズに参加しました。20名ほどの参加者のうち日本人は私たち二人だけ。食事は三種類とクッキー。最後まで食事類は残っていましたが、クッキーはすぐになくなってしまいました。このクッキーおいしいですよ。乗船時の説明ももちろん英語ですが、あとでキャプテンが個別に説明してくれました。ただ乗っているだけで楽しい。沖からみるワイキキ、ダイヤモンドヘッド、サンセット、とても素敵です。娘は運転席？で記念撮影もさせてもらい、最初は言葉が通じないことにナーバスになっていた娘も時間がたつにつれ、この船の魅力にとりつかれたようです。終わりが近づくころには「もう終わっちゃうの・・・・」を連発してました。私の単語連発の英語で乗船していた方とも話ができて、うれしくなっちゃいました。キャンペーンで参加したため、少しですが下船時にチップを渡しました。帰りは目の前のバス停からワイキキへ。タイミングよくすぐにバスもきました。通常価格でも満足できると思います。またマカニ号に乗りたい！！キャプテンも素敵です。

I boarded a 48-passenger submarine. I took the blue shuttle from the hotel to the ferry dock in front of Hilton Hawaiian Village. At the dock, we took a group photo (which is later sold for $20). 手すりにしっかりと捕まりながら乗船。席に着き丸い窓から海中を覗くと鰺の大群に出迎えられる。パンフでは、英語ガイドの時間帯だったけど、日本人が多いためか日本語ガイドだ。潜航していくと魚礁の周りには色鮮やかな魚たちがこれでもかというほど泳いでる。沈船のポイントでは、ウミガメ登場。おまけにダイビングツアーのご一行とも遭遇。まるで竜宮城気分。あっという間に時が過ぎてしまった。帰りのシャトルでは、目的地が選べたのでアラモアナ・ショッピングセンターで降りてお買い物。大満足の１日です。

It was amazing! We decided to go for the extreme ride with the mindset of going higher. I wouldn't recommend it for those with a fear of heights, but if you're okay with it, the extreme option is definitely the way to go! They took us up so high that we were at the same level or even above the top of Diamond Head. It was just the best. But when I looked down, the boats looked like tiny dots. I was a bit scared, but I'm glad I did it. I really felt like a bird, and I think it's very romantic for couples.

The boat ride was also fun, and the staff took lots of pictures, so it became a great memory. It's close to Waikiki, so I highly recommend it!

最高でした！　どうせなら高く行こうというノリでエキストリームライドで。　高度恐怖症の方にはお勧めできませんが、全然大丈夫な方は絶対エキストリームがいいです！　どこまで行くのってくらい飛ばしてくれました。　ダイアモンドヘッドの頂上と目の高さが一緒かそれより上に行った時は、も~最高。　でも下を見たらボートが豆粒の大きさ。　チョッとビビッたけど、やって良かったです。　本当に鳥になった気分で、カップルにはとてもロマンチックでいいと思いますよ~。

ボートライドも面白かったですし、スタッフの方がたくさん写真を撮ってくれたのでいい思い出になりました。　ワイキキにも近いし、お勧めですよ~！

Since there was no shuttle service, I took the bus to the meeting point, but the park is quite large, so I got a little lost. I think it would have been helpful to have information about the nearest bus stop.

あまりに安いので、このように親切な現地スタッフの方々の生活に支障をきたしはしないかと少し心配です。

The breakfast and light snacks were plentiful, with a great variety of bread and plenty of fruits, which made me very satisfied!
We went quite far out, and the ride there was pretty bumpy (depending on the wind strength)....
On the way back, we could enjoy a leisurely cruise. However, depending on where you stand, you might get splashed by the waves.
I was told we might see dolphins, but unfortunately, we didn't see any this time.
The boarding point is just a short walk from the bus stop, making it easy to enjoy the cruise.

The captain and the crew didn't speak any Japanese, so I boarded the ship feeling a bit anxious. However, the captain could speak broken Japanese and was kind and fun, which put me at ease. He let me take the helm and even took a commemorative photo with me. It became a great memory, and I was really happy about it.

The cruise itself was truly wonderful. At first, we enjoyed a thrilling ride with splashing waves, which I recommend for those looking for excitement. If you don't like scary experiences, you can stay inside the ship's cabin without any worries. As the sun began to set, we all admired the beautiful sunset together. During our trip, the participants were only couples, so the atmosphere on the ship was fantastic (laughs).

I think group participation can also be fun, but I especially recommend it for couples. Lastly, if I could suggest something, I felt that the selection at the appetizer bar was a bit limited, so I would be happy if they could add a few more items.

最後に、希望を挙げるとしたら、オードブルバーの品目がちょっと少なかった気がするので、もう少し増やして貰えると嬉しいです。

I participated in the campaign today and just returned to my room. I arrived a bit late to the ticket booth due to traffic, and when I showed my voucher and apologized for being late, they told me there was still an hour left. I was surprised and listened to their explanation, which was that on Friday nights, the departure is delayed by an hour to watch the fireworks at Hilton. I checked my voucher thoroughly, but there was no mention of that anywhere. So, I killed an hour at the nearby Ward (this is why I deducted one star).

Once on board, there were no particular issues. The only other Japanese guests were my family and another family who had booked through ALAN and arrived an hour earlier. The staff were all friendly and pleasant. It seemed that there were no Japanese speakers at the ticket booth or on the ship today. The food was light snacks but tasted good (wrap sandwiches in soft tortillas, fried spring rolls, salad with pasta, and cookies). Drinks are free for up to two cups in exchange for tickets received during check-in. If you want more, you can order them for a fee.

Unfortunately, there were many clouds today, so we couldn't see a beautiful sunset, but the Hilton fireworks were clearly visible. The ship stopped at a good position until the fireworks ended, and then headed towards the shore, so we disembarked around 8:30 PM.

As for the rocking of the boat, I felt it was more than I expected. However, when I asked the staff about the conditions today, they said there was less rocking. チケットブースへの到着が渋滞で少し遅れてしまい、バウチャーを見せて遅くなってすいませんと謝るとまだ1時間あるとのこと。
え？と思い話を聞くと、金曜の夜はヒルトンの花火を見るために出港が1時間遅いとのこと。バウチャーの隅から隅まで目を通しましたがどこにもそれについては書いてません。仕方がないので向かいのワードで1時間時間をつぶしました。（これが☆を一つマイナスした理由です）
乗船後は特に問題はありませんでした。お客さんはうちともう一家族（ALANで申し込んだ方でした。この方も一時間前に到着。）だけが日本人でした。
スタッフはみなさんフレンドリーで感じのよい方ばかりでした。日本語の出来る方はチケットブース、船内どちらも今日はいなかったようです。食事は軽食ですが味はよかったです。（やわらかい皮のトルティーヤに包まれたラップサンド、揚げた春巻き、パスタの入ったサラダ、クッキー）飲み物はチェックインの手続きの時にもらうチケットと引き換えに2杯まで無料です。それ以上欲しかったら有料で注文できます。
本日は残念ながら雲が多くてきれいなサンセットは見られなかったのですが、ヒルトンの花火はよく見えました。花火が終わるまで調度良い位置で停船していてその後岸にむかったので船から降りたのが8時半頃になりました。
あと心配していた揺れですが、私の感想は思ったより揺れたでした。が、スタッフの人に今日の状況を聞いたところ揺れが少ないとのこと。酔い止めは飲んでおいたほうがいいかもしれません。我が家は私も子供二人も事前に飲んでおきましたので酔うことはありませんでした。
大型船の食事つきディナークルーズよりはこっちの方が楽しいと思いました。

I made a reservation for the 9 AM tour and boarded a dedicated trolley at the bus stop in front of the hotel to head to the dock at Hilton Hawaiian Village. Once on the shuttle boat to the submarine, it was quite rocky, possibly due to the waves. After about 10 minutes, we arrived at the offshore submarine docking point, and passengers were divided among three submarines. Since we couldn't board each submarine directly, those boarding the third submarine had to wait nearly 30 minutes after leaving the port. On the way back, it was the reverse; passengers from the first submarine had to stay on the shuttle boat until the other two submarines surfaced and picked up their passengers, so it took longer than expected. Additionally, the shuttle boat swayed much more once we were offshore compared to when we were in the harbor, so those prone to seasickness should definitely take motion sickness medication. While I've mentioned some downsides, the experience after boarding the submarine and diving was absolutely amazing. The world visible through the windows was unlike anything I had ever seen, and even I, who usually hardly takes photos, found myself continuously pressing the shutter. Furthermore, the guide on my submarine provided explanations in Japanese, filled with jokes and lessons about the ocean, making the time fly by. While there is a risk of seasickness, I believe the rewards far outweigh it. I highly recommend it!!

朝９時の回を予約し、ホテル前のバス停で専用トロリーに乗り込みヒルトンハワイアンビレッジの船着き場へ向かいました。潜水艦へのシャトルボートに乗り込むと波があるせいか結構揺れました。10分ほどで沖合の潜水艦停泊ポイントに到着し、乗客は３隻の潜水艦に分かれて乗り込むのですが、それぞれの潜水艦に横付けしないと乗り込めないため、３隻めの潜水艦に乗る人は港を出てから30分近くかかってします。帰りはその逆で１隻めの潜水艦の乗客は残り２隻が浮上してそれらの乗客をピックアップするまでシャトルボートに乗っていなければならないので、思ったよりは時間がかかります。またシャトルボートは沖合に出たら港にいるときと比べ物にならないくらいに揺れるので船酔いしやすい人は酔い止め薬が必須でしょう。と、マイナス面ばかり書きましたが、潜水艦に乗り込んで潜行してからはすばらしい体験の連続です。窓から見える世界はこれまでに見たことのないもので、普段ほとんど写真を撮らない私ですらひっきりなしにシャッターを押してしまうほどでした。また、私の乗った潜水艦はガイドさんが日本語でいろいろと説明してくれて、ジョークあり海についてのお勉強ありで、とにかくあっという間に時間が過ぎました。船酔いというリスクはありますが、それを補って余りあるリターンがあると思います。絶対おすすめです!!

I participated in this campaign. I was worried about transportation since I chose a plan without pick-up service, but I was able to walk from Honolulu to the location, and on the way back, even though I was concerned because the trolley ended early on Sunday, I walked to the Ala Moana Hotel and took a taxi from there, so it was totally fine.

As for the tour itself, my husband and I, who are not great with boats, were a bit nervous about the rough waves until we got out to sea, but once we were out and the boat stopped fighting the waves, we had a great time and ended up having fun on the deck. We could see the hotel district of Honolulu and Diamond Head all at once, and the blue ocean even had flying fish appearing occasionally—it was just wonderful! It was so enjoyable, and the light snacks were also very delicious. I definitely want to participate again when I go to Hawaii. If you're hesitating, I highly recommend joining!

It was a participation through a campaign, but to be honest, it's definitely worth it even at the regular price. The small group yacht cruise made us feel very luxurious and rich. My children (ages 3 and 5) said it was the most fun out of all the tours we did this time. We took a lot of pictures on the sea, and it became a special memory for the kids. This was our first time in Hawaii and our first experience on a yacht. We were able to feel the pleasant breeze and enjoy the scenery, which is different from a large ship! First, we received an explanation of the boat in English at the central seating area, and then we moved to our preferred spots. Although we didn't understand much of the explanation, later the captain asked us in Japanese, "Did you understand?" and kindly explained again in Japanese. We participated in a catamaran sunset cruise just the two of us. On the day I participated, there was a bit of wind, and it was indeed quite rocky, but that was part of the fun! I also joined the dinner cruise, which offered a completely different sense of exhilaration.

Along the way, dolphins joined our cruise! They were so cute, leading our boat while jumping around. Looking down from the netting at the front, I could see the dolphins swimming up close, which was truly moving!

The meal included a wrap sandwich, salad, and something else, and it was delicious. However, I was so caught up in the enjoyment that I hardly focused on the food; I was fully immersed in the sailing experience.

The sunset cruise for $7.77 is just too cheap... It almost feels like a steal. I definitely want to participate again next time!

なんだかこっちのほうが悪いような気分まで・・・・。

I ordered a one-day limousine pass, and a pickup came to the front of the hotel. It was shiny and pure white. I've been to Hawaii every year for various reasons, but this was the first time I rode in such a beautiful limousine.

Now, regarding the $7 yacht... I wasn't expecting much, but I was completely satisfied. How did it turn out like this? It was the best part of this trip to Hawaii. No complaints—feeling the cool, gentle breeze while enjoying beer, bourbon, and light snacks (which were also great), I naturally had two drinks for free. It felt so good that I ordered another for $5.

The captain was handsome and kind, and he spoke a bit of Japanese. The crew did a great job, and the bartender was also handsome. I've been on a dinner cruise before that cost around $130 on a big ship. While I could see some waves and scenery from the deck, it was boring.

I arrived a bit late on the scheduled day, and then I thought, "It's just the two of us today!" Is it a private tour? Lucky!? However... I received an original hat and taxi fare for the next day. Since there were no issues, we reached an agreement. It seems they had called the hotel about this, but they couldn't get in touch because the name of the person who made the reservation was different from the name of the person staying.

The captain speaks a little Japanese, and the co-captain's ex-wife was Japanese, so there's no need to worry about the language.

参加当日は、自分たち以外は外人で２組のファミリー。
少人数のせいかあまり干渉せずに
それぞれゆったり楽しく過ごしました。

食事はシンプルですが、とてもおいしくて、自分はおかわり。
お腹一杯になったところで網の上に移動、
深い青い海が真下に見え、スプラッシュが気持ちがいい！
仰向けに乗るとさらにスリル満点！楽しい！
しかし・・・食べ過ぎたせいで船酔いダウン。
食べすぎには注意しましょう。

船はダイアモンドヘッドよりもさらに奥の外海までGO!
外海の高い波を勢い良く割って進みます。
片道はトローリングしてましたが何も釣れず残念。
その後ワイキキ沖まで戻って、また離れ。
美しいサンセットも見れ、時間いっぱい２往復してくれました。

船は新しいし衛生的で気持ちが良いです。
豪華クルーズとは違う、このカタマランクルーズだけで
感じられるハワイの海との接し方は大変感動でした！

I thought I would want to ride a yacht when I saw the blue ocean in Hawaii, so I made a reservation in advance. I told my companions that being in the sun would quickly alleviate any jet lag, using it as an excuse to choose this activity on the first day. The deep blue of the ocean, the refreshing breeze, and the strong sun were beautiful even in the evening. What surprised me was that the majority of the passengers were Americans, or rather, white people. They were lively and cheerful, which lifted my spirits and made me feel very happy. I had planned to enjoy the sunset while relaxing. Well, this is part of the journey. By the way, the check-in was on the sandy beach of Waikiki, which was somewhat confusing, and I felt a bit anxious about whether I was in the right place. Also, having to go barefoot was different from a regular cruise. Since it was a small boat, there was a toilet, but it was almost like there wasn't one. I wouldn't say I'm a boat enthusiast, but you won't find a yacht with such high cost performance anywhere else.
