I thought I would want to ride a yacht when I saw the blue ocean in Hawaii, so I made a reservation in advance. I told my companions that being in the sun would quickly alleviate any jet lag, using it as an excuse to choose this activity on the first day. The deep blue of the ocean, the refreshing breeze, and the strong sun were beautiful even in the evening. What surprised me was that the majority of the passengers were Americans, or rather, white people. They were lively and cheerful, which lifted my spirits and made me feel very happy. I had planned to enjoy the sunset while relaxing. Well, this is part of the journey. By the way, the check-in was on the sandy beach of Waikiki, which was somewhat confusing, and I felt a bit anxious about whether I was in the right place. Also, having to go barefoot was different from a regular cruise. Since it was a small boat, there was a toilet, but it was almost like there wasn't one. I wouldn't say I'm a boat enthusiast, but you won't find a yacht with such high cost performance anywhere else.

ハワイの青い海を見たらヨットに乗りたくなるだろうなと思っていたので事前に予約しておきました。太陽に当たれば時差ぼけもすぐに解消すると同行者に言ってこのアクティビティを初日に選ぶ口実にしました。期待通りの海の藍さと風の爽快さ、強い太陽も夕方だから綺麗。予想と違ったのは、アメリカ人というか白人が乗客の大半だったこと。ワイワイがやがやと明るいこと、明るいこと、気持ちが高ぶってとても楽しい気分になりました。予定は、夕陽を見ながらたそがれようかと思っていたのでした。まあ、これも旅か。そうそう、ワイキキビーチの砂浜でチェックインなのでなんとなくわかりにくく、これでいいのかと少々不安だったことと、裸足にならないといけないことが普通のクルーズと違うことでしょうか。小さな船だからトイレはあるけどないようなもんかな。船好きだからというわけではないけれど、こんなにコストパフォーマンスが高いヨットもないですよ。

I had an absolutely wonderful and moving experience! At first, I was planning to go on a sunset cruise with another company, but I was drawn in by Alan's promotional price... I made a reservation, feeling a bit anxious about the English tour. However, I ended up being extremely satisfied.

When I headed towards the meeting point on the ocean side of the Ward Warehouse, I found it surprisingly easily. The surroundings were filled with foreign guests. But since such a situation is rare in Hawaii, it was actually a nice change. I had heard that the boat would sway a lot, and I was prepared for seasickness... but it felt like a roller coaster ride, and I ended up having so much fun and squealing with excitement. There were explanations in Japanese, and the staff were all kind and unique. (One of them seriously mentioned that bonito can be caught here... unbelievable! Haha.) The speed was thrilling, but in the second half, we cruised slowly, enjoying the views of Waikiki, Diamond Head, and even though it was a bit cloudy, we were able to fully appreciate the stunning sunset.

The spring rolls were delicious, and I enjoyed them with plenty of chili sauce. And I must say, the cookies were exquisite! There were four types, and I tried them all! The almond balls were especially recommended. I was worried about seasickness, so I skipped the alcohol, but I thought I could have had some without any issues.

To have enjoyed this much at this price! I believe I would have been satisfied even at the regular price. I would love to participate again when I visit Hawaii!

　本当に楽しかった＆感動ものでした！始めは他社のサンセットクルーズを計画していたのですが、アランちゃんのキャンペーン価格に惹かれ…イングリッシュツアーということで少々不安になりながらも予約。でも結果的に大々満足でした。
　集合場所はワードウェアハウスの海側を目指して行ったら、意外とすぐに分かりました。周りは外国のお客さんばかり。でもハワイでこんなシチュエーションはなかなかないので逆に良かったです。船はすごく揺れるらしい、もしかしたら船酔いも覚悟…と思っていましたが、ジェットコースター気分(？)で楽しくてキャーキャーはしゃいじゃいました。日本語での説明もあり、係の人たちも親切でユニークな方ばかり。(ここでは鰹がとれるよ、と真顔で話してました。…ありえないから！笑)スピード感もかなり楽しめましたが、後半はゆっくり走ってワイキキの街並み、ダイアモンドヘッド、そして少し雲がかってはいたけれど絶景の夕日もばっちり堪能できました。
　食事は春巻きがおいしかったです。チリソースをたっぷりつけていただきました。あとなんといってもクッキーが絶品でした！四種類あったのですが、全制覇！アーモンドボールが特にお勧めです。船酔いが心配でお酒はやめておいたのですが、あれなら飲んでも大丈夫だったかな~と思いました。
　こんなに楽しめてこのお値段！正規料金でもきっと満足だったと思います。またハワイに行ったら参加したいです。

The blue sky, the blue sea, the sound of the wind, the sound of the waves. I was able to forget reality and refresh myself. The only sounds I could hear were the strong wind and the waves crashing against the boat, creating an illusion as if I were standing on the sea. It was truly wonderful.

Since I participated in a campaign this time, I met at the location. I took TheBUS from Waikiki and got off at Ward Warehouse. However, I mistakenly got off at the previous stop, Ward Center, and ended up wandering around because I couldn't find the ticket booth. It was hot, really hot. I didn’t know which way to go... it felt far! I decided in my heart that next time I would opt for a shuttle service. In the end, I asked a Japanese guy, and he said, "Makani? It's really fun! Enjoy!" My expectations grew.

By the way, the ticket booth is across Ala Moana Street from the bus stop, where many boats are docked, at the far end from Waikiki. If you take any bus except number 6, it’s right in front of the next bus stop after Ward Warehouse. I arrived earlier than the departure time and had some time to spare, but I was relieved to be allowed to wait inside the boat.

On the day of the event, there were about a dozen participants, which seemed a bit fewer, so I could enjoy myself freely without having to compete for space anywhere on the boat. I even got to sit behind the captain, but I hope I wasn’t in the way. The waves were said to be relatively calm, but it was rocking! Rather than just swaying, it was more like riding the waves with quite a bit of up and down motion. My husband got terribly seasick, possibly helped by the beer, and ended up missing most of the experience. Unfortunately, that meant he also missed out on the meal. It was a pity. If you're not confident, it's better to take motion sickness medication.

The wind was also strong. At one point, the co-captain shouted, "Dolphin!" and I wondered, "Really!?" Was I being teased?? Apparently, if you're lucky, you might encounter dolphins. In the end, we didn’t see any dolphins, but we had a blast showering at the bow of the boat and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The darkening sea and the sunset were soothing. Definitely wear clothes or a swimsuit that you don’t mind getting wet, and overcome the rough waves? Clear your mind. At $7.77, it was quite a bargain! But even at the regular price, I don’t think I would have regretted it at all. I will definitely go again! (Thank you, Hamyu, for the beautiful photos!)

現実を忘れてリフレッシュ出来ました。ゴーゴーと大きな風の音と、船にぶつかる波の音しか聞こえない、まるで海の上に立っているかのような錯覚すら覚えました。ほんとによかった・・。
　今回キャンペーンでの参加でしたので現地集合。ワイキキ方面からTheBUSでワードウェアハウス下車。しかし一つ手前のワードセンターで下車してしまった為チケットブースがわからずウロウロ。暑い、暑いよー。どっちかわからない・・遠い！次回は送迎付きにしようと心に決めました（＾＾）結局わからず日系のお兄さんに尋ねたところ、「マカニ？すっごく面白いよ！楽しんでね！」。期待に胸が膨らみます。ちなみにチケットブースはバス停からアラモアナ通りを渡り船がいっぱい停泊しているところで、軒を連ねたブースのワイキキ方面から一番奥手。６番以外のバスならワードウェアハウスの次のバス停の目の前です。それでも就航時間より早めに着いて持て余す所でしたが、船内で待って良いとのことですぐに乗せて頂きほっと一息。
　当日参加者は十数名、若干少なめだったようで、船内のどこに行っても場所の取りあいをすることもなく好きな場所で自由に楽しむことが出来ました。操縦席の後ろの席にも座らせて頂いたけど、キャプテンの邪魔になってしまったかな？　波は比較的穏やかな方だとのことでしたが、ゆ、揺れる！揺れると言うよりは波に乗ってかなり上下すると言うべきでしょうか。ビールも手伝ったのか夫はひどい船酔いで大半を棒に振る事に。お陰で食事も棒に振る事に。残念でした。自信の無い方は酔い止めを服用されたほうが良いですね。　風もスゴイです。　途中副キャプテンの「イルカ！」の声に「ホント！？」・・からかわれたのかしら？？運が良ければイルカに遭遇することもあるようです。結局イルカには会えなかったけど船首でシャワーを浴びおおはしゃぎ、十分満喫しました！暗くなってゆく海、サンセットにも癒されます。是非濡れてもよい服装・水着で、荒波を乗り越え？頭を真っ白にして。＄７．７７とは!かなりおトク♪でしたが正規料金でも絶対に後悔しなかったと思います。次回も絶対！（はみゅさん写真きれいに撮れてましたありがとー！）

On June 14, we participated as a couple! Initially, we didn't plan on going on a cruise, but thanks to Alan's special project, we were able to join☆ Thank you so much, Alan m(_ _)m

We were at Ala Moana Shopping Center, so we walked there from there. At Kewalo Basin, there are many boat docks, and as we walked, we thought, "Which one is it?" (from the perspective of Ala Moana SC), the furthest one was the catamaran check-in, in front of the Fisherman's Wharf building.

An easygoing man helped us there.

On the boat, there were only the two of us Japanese and one woman. The rest were foreigners, which was actually nice. Once on board, the captain explained various things to everyone, but it was all in English, and we couldn't understand a thing. The foreigners were laughing, and we thought, "Oh, he must have said something funny." After explaining to the foreigners, the captain came over to us and started explaining in Japanese. His explanation was also entertaining, and we realized that the foreigners were laughing at that joke. We are grateful to the kind captain.

As the boat moved forward, we enjoyed the pleasant breeze and the view of Waikiki from across the water. It felt amazing.

It seemed that it was a day with a lot of swaying, and I got a little seasick (I forgot to take my motion sickness medication), but the staff quickly noticed and brought me a cup with ice, saying, "This will make you feel better."

The drinks included two cups, but we felt one was enough. The scenery and the sunset were incredibly beautiful, and we were captivated by it...

Just when we thought the time was almost up, we ended up cruising for quite a while. I definitely recommend it! Please give it a try. A fun captain is waiting for you☆

6月14日に夫婦で参加しました！
当初はクルージングの予定は無かったのですが、アランちゃんの特別企画のおかげで参加する事が出来ました☆本当にアランちゃん、ありがとうm(_ _)m

私たちはアラモアナショッピングセンターにいたので、そこから歩いて行きました。
ケワロ湾には、沢山の船乗り場があり「えっ？どれ~？」と思いつつ歩いていたら、
（アラモアナＳＣから見て）一番奥がカタマランの受付でした。フィッシャーマンズワーフの建物の前です。

そこで気さくなおじさんが対応してくれました。

舟には日本人は私たちと、女性一人のみ。他は外人だらけで逆に良かったです。
乗ると、船長が皆に色々説明してくれますが、全部英語でちんぷんかんぷん。
外人さんは笑ったりしてるけど、「今おもしろい事言ったんだな~」位でいたら、
外人さんに説明後、ちゃんと私たちに近寄ってきてくれて、日本語で説明を始めてくれました。
その説明もおもしろく、「さっき外人さんが笑ってたのはこのギャグで笑ってたのか~」ってわかり親切な船長さんに感謝です。

船が進み、とても気持ちよい風と対岸から見るワイキキの景色。最高に気持ちよかったです。

その日はゆれが激しい日だったみたいで、私はほんの少し酔ってしまいましたが（酔い止めを飲むの忘れてました）、スタッフの方がすぐ気づいてくれて、
「これを食べたら気持ちいいから」ってコップに氷を入れて持ってきてくれました。

ドリンクも2杯付きですが、私たちは1杯でも十分な感じでした。だって景色とかサンセットが最高に綺麗ですし、それに見とれてたら・・・

時間もすぐに終わりかと思ったら、結構長い間クルージングしてくれました。
絶対オススメですよ！ぜひ参加してみて下さい。
楽しい船長さんが待ってます☆

I never really considered participating in a yacht cruise. However, this time I joined because of ALAN's $7.77 campaign to give it a try. I was completely satisfied!! Honestly, I feel a bit guilty for participating at just $7.77!!

The captain spoke Japanese well, the co-captain was cool, and the bartender was kind. We shared the boat with some foreign guests. While there were many Japanese people in other activities, in this one, there were only us and one other Japanese group. It felt liberating in a way!!

I tend to get seasick, so I took some motion sickness medicine before joining (that was the right choice! (＾＾；）). They intentionally maneuver the boat to create some waves, so if you're prone to seasickness, it's better to take it!

But sailing on a yacht with the wind felt less like nausea and more like being on an amusement park ride, and I truly enjoyed it! The food we had on board was incredibly delicious! The sunset was breathtakingly beautiful, something I've never seen before!!

I definitely want to participate again when I go to Hawaii! Thank you to the crew for such wonderful memories!!! Photos? The yacht. Photos? The sunset from the yacht.

船酔いしやすいあたしは酔い止めを飲んで参加。(これは正解でした　(＾＾；）
わざと揺れる様に操縦したりするので酔いやすい人は飲んだ方がいいですよ♪
でも風をきって進むﾖｯﾄは気持ち悪さというより、何か遊園地のアトラクションに乗ってる感じで本当に楽しめました！
中で食べたご飯もすっごいおいしかった！サンセットも見たことない美しさ！！
またハワイに行ったら是非参加したいです♪クルーの皆様本とに楽しい思い出を

On June 24th, my spouse and I participated in a sunset cruise. I thought it might be smaller than expected, but once the sails were up, it felt fast and the refreshing breeze was pleasant. Light snacks and two drinks were included, and we finished eating early, allowing us to leisurely enjoy the views of Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head from the sea. In the evening, the wind can be a bit chilly, so it's a good idea to bring something light like a cardigan.

The boat rocked quite a bit at departure, so those who are prone to seasickness might want to take some motion sickness medication.

The view of Diamond Head and the lined-up hotels from the sea was very beautiful. The color of the ocean was deep blue, reminiscent of lapis lazuli, and it felt mystical. As the sun gradually set, the beautiful sunset was breathtaking. There were some people fishing, but unfortunately, they didn't catch any fish. However, the family of foreigners who were on board took some photos for us, and everyone was friendly.

６月２４日のサンセットクルーズに夫婦で参加しました。思ったより小さいかなと思いましたが帆を張るとスピード感もありさわやかな風が気持ち良かったです。軽食と２ドリンクが付いていて、私たちは早めに食べ終えて海からのワイキキビーチやダイヤモンドヘッドをゆっくり見ることができました。夕方は風がやや寒いのでカーディガン等軽く羽織る物を持っていた方がいいですヨ。
出航時はだいぶ揺れたので船酔いしやすい方は酔い止めを飲んだ方がいいかもしれません。

海から見るダイヤモンドヘッドや立ち並ぶホテルは大変きれいでした。海の色も紺碧でラピスラズリを思わせて神秘的でした。だんだんと日が沈んできれいな夕焼けが感動的でした。釣竿を出している方がありましたが残念ながら魚は釣れませんでしたが、一緒に乗った外国人のファミリーに写真を撮ってもらったりしてみんなフレンドリーでした。

またホノルルに来たら参加したいと思います。

We participated in the campaign as a family. Our 3-year-old and 5-year-old kids really enjoyed the thrilling cruise. The meals included wrap rolls, spring rolls, and salad, as mentioned in the reviews. The drinks came in large cups, and the draft beer was very delicious. While it wasn't a luxurious dinner, the small yacht cruise with drinks in hand felt more like a rich local experience than a typical sightseeing tour, providing satisfaction beyond the price. I recommend it for those who are tired of the same Japanese jokes from the conductor. Since it's a small group, the crew is attentive and ensures everyone can enjoy in their own way. Without a doubt, it was the best among the optional tours we took this time.

家族でキャンペーンで参加しました。３歳と５歳の子供もスリル満点のクルーズを喜んでましたよ。食事は書き込みにあるようにラップロールと春巻きとサラダ。ドリンクは大きなカップで２杯で生ビールはとってもおいしかったですよ。豪華なディナーではありませんがドリンク片手に少人数のヨットクルーズは観光ツアーというより、リッチなローカルの楽しみってカンジで値段以上の満足がありますよ。毎回同じ日本語ジョークのコンダクターには飽き飽きしてる人におすすめ。少人数相手だからクルーの人もそれぞれがそれぞれの楽しみ方をできるように気配りしてくれますよ。間違いなく今回行ったオプションツアーの中ではベストでした。

I participated with my boyfriend. I was a complete beginner, but he was experienced, so we borrowed a regular longboard (since the waves were small, a shortboard wouldn’t work) and he was riding the waves freely. Some people mentioned the photos, but they put all the pictures from everyone who took the lesson at the same time onto one CD-R for $25, so I thought it wasn't too expensive for the two of us. Especially since there aren't many opportunities to get photos of riding the waves, I was satisfied with how beautifully they were taken with a telephoto lens. However, it seems that the coach was aiming to capture the moment when he pushed the board to ride the wave, so my boyfriend didn’t appear in many of the photos, which was a bit disappointing for him. The latest ship provided a very satisfying tour with a voyage of about two hours. The number of dishes was limited, but they were delicious. The course of the voyage went past Waikiki Beach and out to Diamond Head, then returned. Since the departure was at 5:00 PM, the sunset was beautiful, creating a memorable moment that felt like being in a movie. There was no Japanese guidance during the tour, but the crew was well-trained, so I think those who are not confident in English can participate with ease. *It can get chilly on the water, so I recommend bringing something to wear over your clothes.

最新の船で約２時間の航海は大変満足のいくツアーでした。
料理の数はほんのわずかですが、美味しく頂けました。
航海のコースはワイキキビーチの前を通りダイアモンドヘッドの沖合いまで行き、
帰ってくるコースです。参加は17：00出発ともあり、夕日がきれいでまるで映画の中にいるような心に残るひと時でした。
参加時には日本語の案内などはありませんでしたが、クルーがよく教育されており
英語の苦手な方も安心して参加できると思います。
＊海上は冷えますので何か羽織るものがあると良いと思います。

Everything was beautiful!
The boat and the scenery.
And what’s great is that it wasn’t just Japanese people!
Activities in Hawaii usually feel like they’re just for Japanese people, all speaking Japanese and having fun, but all the staff on the catamaran were foreigners. Most of the participants were also foreigners.
However, the captain spoke Japanese fluently, so I could understand everything, including the explanations and conversations, perfectly in Japanese!
It was wonderful to enjoy the foreign atmosphere without any language barriers.
Moreover, although it was described as a "light meal," there was plenty of food and it was delicious!
I was surprised and happy since I didn’t expect much from the food!
The sunset viewed from the boat was stunningly beautiful, allowing me to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and fully enjoy nature.
I felt like a celebrity! (laughs)

You can feel the wind, which is really nice, but it gets cold during the sunset, so I recommend bringing a light long-sleeve hoodie or jacket.

いつもHawaiiのアクティビティって日本人だけで日本語でワイワイ・・・って感じなのに、カタマランのスタッフ全てが外人さん。参加する人もほとんど外人さん。
なのに、キャプテンが日本語問題ないので、説明も途中途中の会話もバッチリ日本語で理解できちゃう♪

I participated in the sunset cruise on June 13. This time, I traveled alone as a woman. Since I would be returning late, I opted for the limousine liner package. I had a great time in an environment that was completely safe for solo female travelers.

My watch was set an hour ahead, so I checked in an hour early, but the captain was very considerate and showed me around the ship. Because of that, I was excited from the moment we set sail!

Unfortunately, the wind was too strong that day, and the ship was splashing through the waves as we headed out to sea. (It’s more stable than regular boats, so even those who are sensitive to motion sickness should be fine.) If you don’t want to get wet, the staff will point out dry spots, so just follow their instructions. I enjoyed myself thoroughly, though… (laughs) Once we got further out, the waves calmed down, and we turned off the engine. While taking in the view of Honolulu, I relaxed with a wrap sandwich and a cocktail, listening to various stories from the captain.

As the sun began to set, the surface of the water gradually glowed orange, and when I gently held my hand over it, it felt like wearing a huge diamond ring. That sight is something I hope everyone can see with their own eyes, rather than just in photos.

After the sun had completely set, we returned to the harbor while enjoying the lights of Honolulu, feeling a bit reluctant to leave.

The meal was light, but just seeing the scenery filled me up, and I couldn’t eat much, which seemed to be the case for other guests as well. Drinks were free for up to two cups, but the cups were large enough that one was plenty. If you want to try different flavors, it might be nice to share with a friend.

Everyone else was a couple, so I imagine they created wonderful memories in their own special spots. You can even have a Titanic-like experience! (The view is even more stunning than in Titanic.) The restrooms were very clean. Even if there are children who need diaper changes, it’s no problem. Hand soap and paper towels were also provided.

As for me, I had a lot of fun singing and joking around with the captain and the co-captain while enjoying the scenery. And guess what? I even got to try steering the ship! I’ll say it again, I’m a woman… The captain seems to understand a little Japanese, so I don’t think language will be a problem for those who aren’t confident in their English.

ホノルルを一望しながら、
のんびりラップサンドとカクテルを片手にキャプテンから色んな話を聞けました。

日が沈んでくると、海面は徐々にオレンジ色に輝き
そっと手をかざすとまるで大きなダイヤモンドの指輪をしているかのよう。
あの光景だけは写真ではなく、みなさんの目で確かめて頂きたいと思います。

すっかり日が沈んだあとは、ホノルルの明かりを楽しみながら
後ろ髪引かれる思いで帰港です。

食事は軽めですが、私は景色を見ただけで胸がいっぱいになり
あまり食べれませんでしたが、他のお客様も同じ様子でした。
飲み物も、２杯まで無料でしたが
カップが大きいので１杯で十分な位。
色んな味を楽しみたい方はお友達とシエアしても良いかと。

私以外は皆さんカップルでしたので
思い思いの場所で素敵な想い出を作られた事だと思います。
タイタニックのような体験もできます！
（タイタニックよりも景色は素晴らしいです）
お手洗いもとても清潔です。
おむつ交換が必要なお子様がいても、大丈夫。
ハンドソープ＆ペーパータオルも完備。

私は？と言うと、キャプテンとサブキャプテンと共に
景色を楽しみながら歌を歌ったり、冗談を言い合ったりと
とても楽しかったです。
なんと、操縦体験も！？
繰り返すようですが、私は女性です。。。
キャプテンはほんの少し日本語がわかるようですので
英語が苦手な方でも全く問題ないと思います。

Since I was in Hawaii, I thought I would try surfing. I didn't really know much about boards, so I wasn't expecting to stand up right away, but I managed to do it early on. I got a strange desire and thought, "I might get hooked on this!" I believe that the beginning is crucial for anything, so I felt that it would be good to grasp the basics and the feeling in a setting like this to level up. The staff members were kind, friendly, and worked hard, which made me feel at ease. It was fun, and the time flew by, but it was a very fulfilling two hours.

せっかくハワイにいるのだがらサーフィンを体験してみようと思いました。ボード関連は全く良くわからなかったので、すぐに立てることは期待していなかったのですが、最初のほうですぐに立てました。変な欲が出てしまい、これはハマルかも☆と思いました。何事も最初が肝心だと思うので、こういう場で基本というか感覚をつかんでレベルアップしていったら良いような気がしました。スタッフの方々は優しくフレンドリーで、一生懸命なので、安心できます。楽しくてあっという間に時間が過ぎましたが、結構内容の濃い２時間です。

Cruising on a catamaran that glides over the waves is truly refreshing! Standing on the deck and feeling the sea breeze all over is incredibly pleasant, offering a different sensation than just being blown by the wind on the beach. The view of Waikiki Beach from the ocean is exceptional as well. My hotel room had an ocean view, and it was deeply moving to think that I was part of the scenery I was gazing at from my room. The sunset time, dyed in orange, is simply romantic! Couples were all holding hands, lost in the moment. I tried a cocktail recommended by the bartender called High Tide, which had just the right alcohol content for drinking on the boat and was delicious. As for the food, I expected the snacks on the boat to be dry or damp, but the pasta salad, spring rolls, wraps, and cookies all exceeded my expectations. I was able to create wonderful travel memories.

食事のほうは船の上のスナックということで、
パサパサしているかもしくは湿気たりしているんだろうなぁと思いきや、
パスタサラダ、春巻、ラップ、クッキーなどどれも合格点クリア。
ステキな旅の思い出が作れました。

Thank you so much, Alan-chan, for allowing us to participate in the best tour. I am incredibly impressed to have experienced such a wonderful tour at an amazing price. We participated on June 7th with two people. Initially, we were scheduled for the 10th, but we received a message from Japan saying that the day had suddenly become fully booked, so we had to change the date right before our departure on the 7th, which was the day we arrived in Hawaii. After checking into the hotel and unpacking our bags, we set off. To our surprise, it included two drinks (alcohol allowed) and light snacks for an incredible price of $7.77. We participated in this campaign, but even at the regular price, the stunning scenery and scale were more than worth it. I was a bit worried about what kind of boat and tour it would be, but I was fortunate to meet other participants and had a great time. However, my friend who joined us got seasick shortly after departure, possibly due to fatigue from the flight and hunger after drinking an unfamiliar cocktail! But aside from the two of us, everyone else was a foreigner, with only two Japanese residents in Hawaii. I was a bit anxious about what to do, but everyone was friendly, and the ship's captains were really nice! Moreover, it turned out that after the sunset cruise, I joined a wedding party of a Japanese girl living in Hawaii! I got to participate in the after-party and the third party as well. It was a unique experience that I wouldn't normally have, and I made new friends, which was fun. I would love to participate again. その２次会、３次会と御一緒させて頂いちゃいました。とても普通では体験出来ないし友達も出来るし楽しかったです。又参加したいです。

I’m not great on boats, but I trusted the words “catamarans don’t rock” and decided to join.

It was truly comfortable to the point where I wanted to list all the compliments: it doesn’t rock, the breeze feels nice, there’s no engine noise so it’s quiet, the boat is beautiful, and the atmosphere is fantastic.

The boat was larger than I expected, with:
- The netted area at the front of the boat (a bit scary but comfortable)
- Box-type tables with seats located at the bottom of the stairs
- Well-ventilated seats on both sides of the first floor

Each area has a different vibe and way to enjoy, so if you explore a little, you can have multiple times the fun.

As for the food, I thought it would be light snacks, but it was quite substantial (I participated in the sunset cruise), delicious, and I had planned to have dinner after getting off the boat, but the meal here was more than satisfying. The drink bar was also great, with cheerful staff who made it so easy to order multiple times, creating a pleasant atmosphere.

I definitely want to participate again.

本当に、揺れない・風が気持ちいい・エンジン音がしないので静か・船がきれい・雰囲気抜群と、あらゆる褒め言葉を並べたくなるくらい快適でした。

船は思ったより広く、
　船の先頭の網のはってある部分（ここが、ちょっと怖いけど快適）
　階段を下りたところにあるボックスタイプのテーブルもついたシート
　一階の両脇にある風通しのよいシート
と、それぞれ雰囲気も、楽しみ方も違うので、少しずつまわっていけば、何倍も楽しめます。

食事の方は、軽食かと思っていたら、なかなか立派（私が参加したのはサンセットクルーズです）で、おいしく、夕飯は船を降りてからと思っていましたが、ここの食事で十分過ぎるほど満足のいくものでした。
ドリンクバーも、明るいスタッフが対応してくれ、ついつい何度もオーダーしちゃいそうになるくらい、気軽で、雰囲気がよかったです。

ぜひとも、もう一度参加したいです。

I participated in a sunset sailing trip. Until now, I had experience with relatively large dinner cruises, but this was completely different. It seemed that they used the engine until we got out to sea, but once we were out, we sailed on the strong trade winds unique to Hawaii. The feeling of cutting through the wind and waves was exhilarating. The word "sea breeze" naturally came to mind! This catamaran yacht was brand new, having just been launched this year, and it was really shiny. The meal was a buffet style with a limited selection, but each dish was truly delicious. I might have enjoyed it even more because I wasn't expecting much. Above all, the cool crew members really livened up the deck. The captain, believe it or not, spoke Japanese! At first, I was a bit nervous since everyone else was American, but when the captain suddenly spoke to us in Japanese, all my tension disappeared. Sailing in the marine blue waters of Hawaii, with views of Waikiki and Diamond Head, was amazing. Watching the sunset from the same height as the horizon of the catamaran, the cheerful crew, and lying on the deck with my head empty while gazing at the bright blue sky—everything was just perfect!!!

サンセットセーリングに参加しました。これまで比較的大き目の船のディナークルーズの経験はありましたが、全く別物ですね。これは。沖に出るまでは、エンジンを使っていたようですが、沖に出るとハワイ特有の強い貿易風（トレードウィンド）にのってのヨットセーリング。風と波をきる感触は爽快の一言。頭にシーブリーズ！て単語が自然に浮かびました。このカタマラン型ヨットは今年、浸水したばかりでほんとピカピカでした。食事はビュッフェスタイルの料理で品数は少ないですが一つ一つがほんとおいしかったです。期待していなかったので余計おいしく感じたのかも知れませんが。何と行ってもデッキを盛り上げてくれたのはかっこいいクルーのお兄さんたち。キャプテンはなんと！日本語しゃっべていました。私たち以外はアメリカ人の方ばかりで、最初少し緊張したのですが、キャプテンがいきなり日本語で話しかけてきたので、いっぺんに緊張吹き飛びました。ハワイのマリンブルーの海でのセーリング、ワイキキ、ダイヤモンドヘッドも一望できました。カタマランの水平線と同じ高さから見るサンセット、陽気なクルーのお兄さん、デッキの上に寝転がって頭真っ白にして見た真っ青な空、全部最高！！！

If you're prone to motion sickness, it might be a good idea to take medication beforehand.

We participated together. It was our first time surfing, and I was filled with anxiety, but I was able to ride the waves from the very first try. The instructor encouraged us by saying, "Paddle, paddle, stand up!!" which helped me stand up smoothly.
The photo CD-ROM was a bit pricey at $25, so many people didn't purchase it. I thought it would be nice if they offered a free commemorative photo, even just one.
I definitely recommend everyone to experience surfing in the waters of Hawaii!☆

二人で参加しました。初めてのサーフィンで、不安でいっぱいでしたが、一度目から波に乗れました。インストラクターの方が、「漕いで、漕いで、立って！！」と掛け声をかけてくれたので、すんなり立つことができました。

I was someone who thought yachts were more for looking at than riding, but I decided to join because it was introduced on ALAN1.net and the price wasn't too high. It turned out to be a series of pleasant surprises! First of all, the Makani was new and shiny both inside and out! It was big! The crew was friendly! (I thought sailors would be intimidating.) The ride was smooth and quiet! (I expected to be bouncing over the waves.) The drinks and food were delicious! (Well, maybe it was the taste brought out by the air and scenery.) The views were beautiful, the sea was a lovely blue, and both the sunset and night view were stunning. The wind was just right and refreshing. The duration was perfect (I thought I might get bored). No, it was unexpectedly great. I wanted to ride again, but... This is my first post, so I'm a bit embarrassed about the messy writing.

This time, I participated in the sunset cruise. I have been on various boats in the past, but the best part of this cruise was how close we were to the sea! You can really feel the surface of the water and the waves right there. The boat has seats, but at the front, there’s just a sturdy net stretched out, and you can see the water below you from there, allowing you to sit directly on it. At first, it’s a bit scary, but once you get used to it, it feels really nice, and I highly recommend it. However, be careful if you sit at the very front, as you might get splashed by the waves (^^).

I usually get seasick, but I didn’t feel any motion sickness at all on this open, breezy cruise.

For those who will participate in the future, here’s some information:
- You board the boat directly from the sandy beach, so your feet will get wet. It’s better to wear shoes that you don’t mind getting wet.
- It can be hot when the sun is out, but it gets chilly on the way back. I think it’s a good idea to bring a long-sleeve shirt.
- On the way back, there’s a place to wash your feet before entering the hotel from the beach. Having a towel is convenient.

私は、船には弱い方ですが、この開放感あふれ、風が気持ちのよいクルーズでは全く船酔いしませんでした。

今後参加される方のための情報として、
・船に乗るのは砂浜から直接乗りますので、足が水につかります。
　ぬれてもいい靴を履いていった方がいいです。
・日が出ているときは暑いですが、帰りは冷えます。長袖は持参した方がいいと思います。
・帰り、浜辺からホテルの中に入る際に、足を洗う場所があります。タオル１枚あると便利です。
・トイレ。。。ここに入るには勇気がいります。トイレのドアは少々透けていますので、女性の方はトイレはないものと思っていた方がいいと思います。
・アルコールが出るので、乗船前に年齢がわかるものを見せるよう言われます。
　パスポートのコピーとか持っていくと、便利かもしれません。

まずは受付の金髪のお姉さんにバウチャーを渡し、すんなりチェックイン
このお姉さんはかなり美人！！だとおもわれます。
海岸から出発なので、普通の靴よりはビーチサンダルのが
よいですね。ちなみに自分は普通の靴で失敗したのですが。。(^｡^;)
今日の参加人数は４８人と聞き　「え？？４８人乗れるの？」
とおもったのですが、ところがどっこい余裕で乗れまだ乗れるじゃないか
って感じでした。
インストラクターもテンション高く、酒も入ってきてかなり盛り上がりました。
風だけで船って動くもんなんすね。。
オアフ島を海から見るってのも悪くないです。しかも風が気持ちいいんです。

日本人にはあまり知られてないみたいですけど
これは穴ですよ。。日本人いないとこ選ぶならここは選択肢の一つです。
もちろん日本人がいても同様に楽しめるとおもいますけどね~

あとは是非トイレに挑戦してもらいたい！！
トイレはほんとすごいんです。　入ってみたらわかります。。

ビーチから沖に出るまではエンジンを使っていたようですが、沖に出ると、ビーチとはうってかわって十分な風が吹いていて、全くエンジンを使わず自然の風によるセーリングが楽しめました。海の色はビーチとは違う深いマリンブルー（グランブルーというのでしょうか）。少し肌寒かったですが、風と波をきる感触は最高に気持ち良かったです。カクテルで少しほろ酔い気分になり、ノリノリの陽気なアメリカ人グループ、映画のワンシーンのようにセーリングの最初から最後まで景色も夕陽も全く見ず、ただ見つめあっているだけのカップル、かっこいいクルーのお兄さん、そして、ハワイの海に沈んでいく夕陽とともに過ごした最高のひと時でした。

ダイアモンドヘッドを越えて航行できるってことでしたが、鯨を求めて同じようなところをぐるぐると周回している感じでした。
展望室が２階と１階にありましたが、私的には１階がお勧めでした。専属のカメラマン？の方がベストショットを撮るべく常時構えてあるので、その方向を見れば鯨がいるのがわかりますから。ただ、そのカメラマンの為なのか、いつも正面に鯨が来るように方向転換されるので、潮吹きを食事しながらテーブルで見つけても、すぐ、向きが変わるので展望台に行かないと見えません。
また、一応日本語ガイドがありますが、通訳なのでワンテンポ遅れるので、あんまり良くわかりませんでした。

それとＡＬＡＮでの予約でしたが、現地到着したら電話をするように指示されてましたが、システムの故障の為、操作が完了できなかったので予約が取り消されるのではないかと、とても不安になりました。
結局、主催のアトランティッククルーズに直接電話して、予約できていることを確認しましたが。

雨が結構降っていたので私たち家族はアラモアナのほうへは行かず直接ホテルへ送っていただいたのですが、帰りのバスの運転手さん（女性でした）もとても感じがよくて気持ちがよかったです。
子ども無料プログラムで参加させていただいたにもかかわらず子どももチケットやパンフレットをちゃんともらい、席もしっかり確保していただいていましたので、アランさんで予約してよかったと思います。
