The local staff at the ticket exchange, including the older gentleman, are sure to make you laugh, and all the trolley drivers are fun people! You'd be missing out if you don't ride it. They even take photos while stopped! It’s not just a means of getting around; you can explore the Waikiki area while listening to the enjoyable stories from the drivers. I will definitely participate again next time!

As the reviews mentioned, it was difficult to find the reception area. While I was looking for a blue beach umbrella, it turned out to be a brown palm umbrella. Once I got out to the sea, the waves were bigger than I expected, making it fun like surfing. You get quite wet, so it's a good idea to bring a towel or something. I heard that if you're lucky, you can see dolphins and sea turtles; unfortunately, I didn't get to see any dolphins, but I did see a swimming sea turtle. The cocktail made with dark rum and peach juice was a generous portion; the first one was $8, and refills were $3, if I remember correctly. It was very easy to drink and delicious!

I had a stand up paddle board lesson with Alison on 5/31. She brought along the correct sized board for me, something the rental places at Waikiki did not, and we had a great time. After a couple of minutes of getting used to the balance, I was off and running....err...paddling that is. It was a beautiful day, before and after the rain squall, and we saw numerous sea turtles swimming by us. Alison was fun, friendly, and easy to talk to and was an excellent instructor. I had the lesson my first day in Hawaii and it was so much fun, I did it every day I was there.

The second day I had a regular surfing lession with (Mollie, Matty? something like that, I forget now. But it was great fun also, I caught a few nice waves and she was really helpful....another great instructor. The learning curve for surfing is quite a bit higher than SUP, but I enjoyed it so much I'm taking another surfing lession this Sunday in cold water (wet suit) here in Washington state. I have always wanted to go horseback riding in Hawaii, so I signed up for this canyon horseback riding course. As someone who has been attending a riding club, just walking at a normal pace wasn't enough for me, and I dozed off a bit along the way, but it was wonderful to view the mysterious forest and the beautiful ocean from the horse's back. The horse was calm and well-behaved. The stray cat and stray chicken that were friendly were also cute.

The restroom at the riding club is just one temporary toilet outside, so I strongly recommend using the nice restrooms at Dole Plantation beforehand. The Dole pineapple soft serve and cookies were delicious.

There is no rental for helmets and gloves, which are usually provided for horseback riding. It’s a good idea to bring a hat, long sleeves, long pants, and gloves that you don’t mind getting dirty to protect against sunburn and scratches.

I’m not a fan of shrimp, but the lunch I went to had no options other than shrimp (there was a fruit salad on the menu, but it wasn’t actually available), so I wished I could have eaten at a cool, clean restaurant with a restroom that accepted credit cards and offered something other than shrimp lunch. It seems to be a famous place, and the guide kindly offered me some pineapple as a side.

We had a packed schedule with visits to the "Tree of Life," Dole, sea turtles, and Haleiwa Town, and they accommodated us in various ways. As a result, we ended up leaving later than planned, but the guide was chatty and kind.

昔からハワイで乗馬がしたかったので、こちらの渓谷乗馬コースを申し込みました。乗馬クラブに通ってた私には、普通の並み足で歩くだけでは物足りなくて、途中でウトウトしてしまったけど、不思議な森の中や綺麗な海が見える景色を馬の背から眺めるのは乙なものでした。お馬さんも大人しくて良い子でした。よく懐いてる野良猫と野良ニワトリも可愛かったです＾＾
乗馬クラブのトイレは外の仮設のようなトイレ1個しかないので、ドールプランテーションの綺麗なトイレで済ませておくことを強くお勧めします。ドールのパイナップルソフトクリームとクッキーは美味しかったです。
乗馬に付き物の、ヘルメットと手袋のレンタルはありません。日焼けと傷防止のためにも、帽子と長袖・長ズボン・軍手などの汚れても良い手袋を持参すると良いです。

私はエビが苦手なのですが、行ったランチはシュリンプ以外のメニューが無く(フルーツサラダがメニューにあるけど実際は売ってなかった)、シュリンプランチ以外のクレジットカードが使えるトイレつきの涼しく綺麗なレストランで食べたかった気もしますが。有名なお店だそうで、ガイドさんが気を使って私に添え物のパイナップルをくれました。

この木なんの木や、ドール、ウミガメ、ハレイワタウン、イレギュラーな対応もして頂き、盛りだくさんのイベントでした。
そのため帰る時間が遅くなりましたが、ガイドさんはお喋りで親切でした。

I really wanted to experience horseback riding in Hawaii, so I joined this tour. My daughter and grandchild rode the pineapple train, while my husband and I took on horseback riding. The horses, walking in a line through the enchanting forest, were very obedient, and sometimes they would stop to graze, making it thrilling as they tried to catch up with the horse in front. It was so much fun that since returning home, I've been looking for trips where I can ride horses. It became my most enjoyable memory from the trip to Hawaii.

First of all, I thought there wouldn't be any staff who could speak Japanese, but maybe we just got lucky? A local male staff member explained everything to us in Japanese with great effort. The shuttle bus only spoke English, but we didn't feel any inconvenience and had a great time♪

First, we went out to sea at quite a speed, and we were launched to a height higher than we imagined (laughs), so if you're worried, I recommend taking motion sickness medication♪

The staff on board will take photos for you, but it costs $30. You'll receive an SD card when you get off the boat, and you can pay inside the building next to the dock. We weren't quite sure where to pay (laughs), but a Chinese participant helped us, and we just followed everyone else (laughs). I definitely recommend getting your photos taken! (≧ω≦)ｂ

Towards the end, there’s a moment when your lower body gets submerged in the water, and around that time, the staff asks from the boat, "Mizu Japon, okay!?" Last August, my family participated in a canyon horseback riding experience. My son, who is in the third grade, and my daughter, who is in high school, both had a great time. The 90-minute ride through the canyon included just the right amount of uphill sections and was more fun than we expected. My father wanted to go, so my father, sister, and I participated together. The canoe could hold five or six people, but perhaps because it was early in the morning, we were the only participants, so two staff members joined us. After just a brief lesson on how to hold the paddle and how to row, we set off into the sea. We all paddled out to the open water and waited for the waves. The staff would let us know when a good wave was coming, and when we started paddling at their signal, we were able to ride the waves successfully. The canoe moved forward with great momentum, and surprisingly, we picked up quite a bit of speed, so we got pretty wet from the splashes (laughs). We rode the waves twice before finishing. They also took photos for us, and including that, it was about $30 per person, but I thought I would have been satisfied if we could have ridden the waves three times. Overall, I can say it was "fun!" and since it's an experience you can't really have elsewhere, I highly recommend it!

After several trips to Oahu and never having the opportunity to hike Makapu'u since I don't rent a car and the nearest bus stop is over a mile from the trailhead, I was happy to see Kaimana Tours offering transportation from Waikiki hotels to the trailhead.

As the only person taking the tour that day, I was put on a shuttle with a group headed to Hanauma Bay. Pickup from my hotel was prompt, the driver was both professional and entertaining, and pickup from the trailhead was efficient (all I had to do was call the office when I finished the hike, and the driver was there within 10-15 mins)!

As for the hike itself, it is actually a walk on a paved, slightly inclined one mile-ish road. The sights were beautiful all the way to the top, and people of all activity levels should be able to handle this without any issues.

All-in-all, Kaimana Tours delivered an A+++ experience, and I hope to partake in their other tour offerings the next time I'm in Oahu!

The day I participated, it was very windy, so we traveled by boat to the area with the submarine. If you get seasick, be sure to take medication! Once we dove, there was no movement at all, and it was super exciting and thrilling. Luckily, we were able to see turtles and sharks too! The scenery was amazing! The pier where the boat departs and the views during the trip were also fantastic, especially since the weather was great.

Standing on a board on the water seemed absolutely impossible to me... or so I thought, but surprisingly, I managed to do it. When the wind blows, I become the sail myself... So, during strong winds, if I just stand there, I'll get swept away... In those moments, I sit down to avoid it.

After a simple explanation, I was pulled into the sea and before I knew it, I was standing on the board. Moreover, while sitting, I found myself riding the waves. When I paddle while riding the waves, I can change direction... I see now... This is how everyone gets hooked on this sport...

Feeling refreshed and gliding smoothly, I spotted a sea turtle within reach... What a lucky moment! And when I saw an old man standing on his board making a phone call out in the ocean, I felt like I had witnessed something just as precious as the sea turtle, and it excited me.

The convenience of being able to leave my hotel in Waikiki in my swimsuit and return in the same attire is the biggest charm. The CD I received has become a cherished memory, more valuable than any souvenir.

水の上のボードに立つなんて、絶対に無理！。。。と思っていたけど、意外といける。。。
風が吹くと立っている自分自身がセイルになるのだとか。。。だから、強風の時はぼ~~っと突っ立ってると流される。。。そんな時は座って回避。

カンタンな説明のあと引っ張られるままに海に入り、いつのまにかボードの上に立っていた。おまけに座ってだけど、いつの間にか波に乗っていた。波に乗りながらパドルを水に刺すと方向が変わる。。な~るほど。。。
こうやって皆このスポーツにハマっていくんだ。。。

気分爽快でスイスイ進んでいると手が届くかと思う距離にウミガメが。。。なんとラッキー
そして、沖でボードに立って電話をかけてたじいさんを見たとき、ウミガメと同じくらい貴重なものを見た気がしてワクワクした。

ワイキキのホテルから水着ででかけ、水着で帰ってこれるという手軽さが何より魅力。いただいたＣＤもお土産よりも大切な思い出になった。

I think it's easy to understand because they teach in both English and Japanese. The area where you surf has a lot of rocks, so you need to be careful when you fall off the board. The instructor shows videos to explain how to fall safely.

The people I took the lesson with were a foreign couple, a group, and two children. Everyone was riding the waves. Paddling is really tiring, but I was happy to surf in Hawaii. Looking out at the sea from the submarine feels quite similar to an aquarium, but there's a sense of freedom with the fish swimming in various directions, and the excitement of not knowing what creatures you might see. I think it's definitely enjoyable. When I participated, I was able to see sharks and the sight of sea turtles swimming (though they usually tend to stay still). I do wish the travel time and the time for boarding and disembarking from the submarine were a bit shorter, but there's not much that can be done about that. I think it's best to join the experience with a relaxed mindset, enjoying the cruising as well.

あとはもう少し移動時間や潜水艦への乗降時間が短いといいな、と思いますが、こればっかりは仕方ないですね。クルージングも楽しむつもりでのんびり参加すればいいと思います。

The driver who picked us up was entertaining and made the drive enjoyable. The boat crew was good and provided helpful information and made the parasailing a better experience than expected. I definately recommending to everyone to try parasailing at least once while in Hawaii.

I rode a boat for the first time in Hawaii. I saw mother and baby whales a few times, but it was just for a moment. I enjoyed the scenery from the boat, and the breeze felt nice, so I'm glad I participated.
The inside of the boat was too cold due to the air conditioning. I wished I had brought a jacket.

This is my fifth trip to Hawaii, and I've always wanted to ride on this catamaran but couldn't participate because it was fully booked. I finally got to join this time.

The high demand is likely due to the cost and the fact that it's a two-and-a-half-hour tour, making it accessible even for those not staying for a long period.

Even if you don't understand English at all, you can kind of figure things out! For example, you learn not to sit in the blue areas, to sit on the net when departing, and how to order drinks... I understood most of it.

I'm just mimicking what the foreigners do, but anyway, it's a lot of fun. It really makes you feel like you're in Hawaii! The captain, who looked like a pirate, and the crew were quite friendly and cool. My wife also got to take a picture with them.

英語が全く分からなくとも、なんとなく解かってしまいますね！青色の場所には座らないでとか、出航の時には網の上に座ってくれとか、飲み物の注文は、・・・・大体わかりました。
外人の見よう見まねなのですが・・・
とにかく楽しめます。ハワイに来たのだと自分に確認させることができますよ！
海賊みたいな図体の艇長さんと乗組員は、結構親切で恰好よかったです。わが女房も一緒に写真に撮ってもらいました。

The instructions and directions to the location where we could park was not specific for those of us who had never been in the area before (we paid $26 to park). Our emailed confirmation told us to check in at 6:45pm and the catamaran would set sail at 7pm. Our group was first to arrive with plenty of time for checking in. Our catamaran did not arrive to pick us up until 7:15pm and it took another 10 minutes after that to get us all checked in to board. Once onboard, we realized the mai tais were weak so we drank beer instead. This was a very slow-paced cruise. We would like to come back but are more likely to experience a different catamaran cruise than this one.

The Arizona Memorial and the Punch Bowl Veterans Cemetery were very moving experiences for us. Our driver was the real gem of this tour. He was informative, entertaining and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour to all visitors to Honolulu.

My husband and I are from Vancouver, BC Canada. We came to Honolulu, Hawaii for our honeymoon. We decided to do something adventurous as newly weds so we decided to do parasailing! It was also our first time! I did a lot of research on the different parsailing companies and found that Oahu Parasailing did not have any accidents at all. They also had very good reviews so I booked with them through Hawaii Activities. We went with the 8:00am departure & 600ft parasail. On the day of, The driver picked us up at the front of our hotel which was in Waikiki. He was very friendly and knowledgable. While he drived us around the city he told us where to go, where to eat, where the best and cheap things were. He gave us great advice! After we were dropped off, we went into the boat with a group of Japanese tourists. The captian and his assistant were very nice. We participated as a group of three.

We joined with high expectations, as it was advertised that the rope length is 150 meters, the longest in Hawaii.

Since the parachute is pulled by a boat, it felt more like flying far from the boat rather than going high up.

The view of Waikiki and Diamond Head from above was wonderful.

However, both of my companions seemed to experience mild seasickness and parachute sickness, so I recommend taking motion sickness medication for those who are concerned.
