I used the scrub and detox massage! The shop was beautiful, and I was attended to by a Japanese person and another woman. It felt so good that time flew by in no time. I actually fell asleep, so I didn't notice, but on the way back, when I was fixing my hair, I realized they had also taken care of my neck, and it felt so smooth! The hotel was easy to find, but since the room number wasn't listed in the directions, I asked the hotel staff, and they pointed me in the right direction right away. My room was indeed at the end of the hallway.

I was super excited to catch some waves on my first surfing experience. After receiving a detailed explanation in Japanese, I headed into the ocean, and to my surprise, I was able to ride the waves and had a great time. Since it was Waikiki Beach, it was also convenient to walk there. I will definitely participate again next time.

The daytime yacht experience was so enjoyable that this time I participated in a sunset cruise. Although there were many clouds and the sunset was disappointing, it was a quiet cruise without the liveliness mentioned in other reviews. Well, that was fine in its own way, but I still had more fun during the daytime when I wore my swimsuit and got splashed by the waves.

This is a very fun time for a fair price. The catamaran is basic (i.e. no cabin or bathrooms) but it's a great sail with a crew that seems to love their jobs. The mai tais are good and plentiful, and it was great to see the sunset from the water. The sail goes out early enough that you get back in time to go to dinner, and you're in a wonderful mood when you return. I'd definitely recommend this cruise to people who want a fun time seeing Waikiki and Diamond Head from a new perspective.

A little while ago, at the end of 2011, I participated in an event where we could see fireworks from a boat.

We set sail around dusk, and there were about 20 people, I think? I had heard it was an English tour, but it was quite accommodating for Japanese speakers, so it wasn't a problem if you couldn't speak much.

The meal was served buffet-style. There were a decent variety of dishes, and I thought the food itself was tasty. I believe drinks were included for the first two.

The fireworks lasted about 15 minutes. If you imagine a Japanese fireworks festival, it might feel a bit lacking.

However, if you focus on the value of seeing fireworks from a boat, I don't think it's bad at all.

Personally, I felt my level of satisfaction was just okay.

夕暮れ時に出向し、約20人くらいだったでしょうか？
英語ツアーと聞いていましたが、日本人慣れしており、喋れなくてもほぼ問題ありません。

お食事はブッフェ形式。
種類はそこそこあってお食事自体は美味しかったと思います。
ドリンクは確か2ドリンクまでは料金込みでした。

花火は15分ほどだったと。
日本の花火大会を想像してしまうと、やっぱり物足りなさはありましたが。

船上から花火を見えるという価値を重視すれば、すごくわるいわけではないと思います。

個人的には満足度はそこそこかなーと思いました。

The quality of optional tours depends on "the weather and the guide." I was blessed with wonderful weather (Hawaiian blue = a clear blue sky) and the best guide, allowing me to spend a blissful time.

First, at the majestic Moanalua Gardens, I had the blooming monkey pod tree (the tree from Hitachi's advertisement) all to myself.

At the Dole Plantation, while others were waiting in long lines, I enjoyed VIP treatment thanks to my prior reservation and the familiar face of my guide, allowing me to bypass the queue and board immediately. After boarding, I had time for a stroll, shopping, and a light meal.

In Haleiwa Town, the experienced guide truly showcased their skills! They meticulously calculated the timing and route, leisurely navigating just before the busy hours. I was able to enjoy delicious shrimp from Mackey's, acai bowls from Lanikai Juice, and shave ice from Matsumoto without any wait, entering the shops while others were lined up outside. I managed to conquer all my goals with plenty of time to spare.

The 90-minute exploration of Haleiwa was divided into three 30-minute segments, allowing us to visit all the key spots without a long walk. I appreciated the thoughtful care of the veteran guide!

By slightly shifting away from the crowded beach where people were gathering around sea turtles, I was able to encounter sea turtles on a deserted beach.

Everything went so smoothly that I had extra time… The unexpected bonus tour to the soap factory, which became famous in Japan through the TV show "Moyamoya Summers," was excellent. They really know how to connect with Japanese TV programs—truly professional and experienced.

I was also given a handmade map of Haleiwa Town that included shop names and restrooms not found on commercial maps. Since I have difficulty walking, my guide brought a lightweight folding chair from home so I could take breaks while exploring. I felt a family-like hospitality in their meticulous care, which deeply impressed me.

Finally, I sincerely thank VELTRA, the operating company Island Makana, and my guide Yamada! Thank you for the best experience in Oahu (North Shore)! Next time I visit Hawaii, I will choose optional tours through VELTRA and confidently recommend them to my friends and acquaintances visiting Hawaii!

■スムーズ過ぎて時間にゆとりが…予定にないオマケツアーで訪れた「モヤモヤサマーズで日本で一躍有名になった」石鹸工場は非常に良かった。日本のＴＶ番組をちゃんと押さえている処など…さすがプロ＋さすがベテラン
■市販の地図に載っていない店名やトイレなどを記したハレイワタウンの解りやすい手製地図を作って戴いたり、足の不自由な私には、少し歩くことになるので、休み休み回れるように、軽い折りたたみ椅子を自宅から持参してくれたり、至れり尽くせりの気遣いに、家族のようなもてなしの心を感じ…感銘した。

Meeting in front of the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, also known as the Pink Palace, 30 minutes before the start. (I used it during the dinner buffet with a show last time. To visit again for an activity...) It's very convenient to access, as it's within walking distance from the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center (trolley stop) and hotels in the Waikiki area. Heading to the beach from Kalakaua Avenue through a narrow path with board lockers, I arrived next to the counter.

First, I checked in at the counter. After reading and signing a document with important notes regarding participation, we began the lesson using boards at Waikiki Beach. First, we learned how to balance on the board, including foot and face positioning. Next, we learned paddling (the efficient hand shape), how to go through waves, and how to avoid contact with others. The instructions were very clear, which eased my tension.

Finally, we headed to the sea. First, I got on the board and paddled out. Upon reaching the surfing point, we waited for the waves. When a suitable wave came, the instructor shouted, "Paddle, paddle!" and I paddled vigorously. When I felt I could ride the wave, I quickly grabbed both sides of the board and moved into the riding position. I adjusted my stance to maintain balance and kept my gaze focused on the horizon to stay calm. At first, I was nervous and couldn't move my body as I wanted. Gradually, with the instructor's support, my desire to stand on the board grew stronger, and I managed to ride successfully. If I have another opportunity to surf next time, I hope to be able to take off on my own... I also want to review the CD to pay attention to my riding position, posture, and gaze for my next attempt. The one-hour surfing experience flew by surprisingly quickly, but it was just the right amount of physical activity. After the activity, we had a lunch buffet at the restaurant. いよいよ、海へ。まずは、ボードに乗りパドリングで沖へ出る。波乗りポイントに到着、波を待つ。サーフィンに適した波が来たら、先生の掛け声「こいで、こいで。」とともに、勢い良くパドリング。波に乗れたと感じられたら、瞬時にボードの両脇を持ち、ライディングの工程へ。立ち位置を修正しながらバランスをとり、目線を遠くに向けるなどをしてなるべく持続できるように平常心を保つ。最初は、緊張していたためなかなか思うように体を動かすことができませんでした。徐々に、先生のサポートによりボードに立ちたいという思いが強くなり、なんとかライディング成功。次回サーフィンをする機会がありましたら、一人でテイク・オフができるように…。また、CDを見直してライディング位置や姿勢、目線などに注意をしながら再チャレンジ計画に役立てたいと思いました。１時間程度のサーフィン体験は、驚く程あっという間でしたが体力的にもちょうど良かったです。アクティビティ参加終了後は、レストランにてランチビッフェ。また、ボードはレンタル可能、後日再びワイキキビーチにてサーフィン。
この度は、初めてのサーフィン体験でしたが、お陰様でスタッフの皆様のサポート力でボードに立つ楽しさまでも味わさせて頂きました。また、ダイヤモンド・ヘッドをバックにライディング姿をCDに収めて頂き、素敵な思い出となりました。色々とお世話になり、本当に有難うございました。心より感謝申し上げます。また機会がございましたら、どうぞよろしくお願いいたします。

Beautiful views from the boat, areas on boat need work

My grandmother and I chose this as something different to do from the sightseeing and beach time we had been enjoying. The transportation is great even for those of us that are familiar with the island, and well worth the additional cost. The seating area is packed and truly would be more enjoyable with fewer people crammed in. The food and service were far better than expected and the "All You Can Eat" crab truly lives up to the name. The boat from an external view is beautiful and makes a striking appearance out on the open ocean. On the decks there are areas that could be maintained better, especially the areas that food is served from and are in plain view of guests. The top deck is amazing for catching sight of the city line and would be a great place to spend a romantic evening with a significant other. Overall this is something that I am glad we experienced and would be willing to take others on.

I had such a great time riding on a catamaran yacht in the past that this time I joined the sunset cruise. Unfortunately, there were a lot of clouds in the mornings and evenings all week, so we could only catch a glimpse of the sunset through the clouds. Even though it was an all-you-can-drink option, one Mai Tai was enough for us. I brought some snacks as mentioned in the reviews, but unlike what others had said, there wasn't any cheerful dancing that started... it was a very quiet cruise. The yacht was pleasant, but even though check-in was at 5 PM, it actually started after 5:30 PM, which felt like a waste of time.

昔日中のカタマランヨットに乗って、あまりにも楽しかったので、今回はサンセットクルーズに参加しました。この週はずっと朝晩雲が多く、夕日の雲の合間からちらっとしか見えない状態でしたので残念でした。飲み放題とはいえ、私たちはマイタイ１杯で充分。口コミにあったので、おつまみも少し持って行きましたが、他の口コミにあったような陽気なダンスが始ったり…はなく、とても静かなクルーズでした。ヨットは気持ち良かったですが、５時チェックインとあるのに、実際始ったのが５時半過ぎで、時間がもったいなかったかな。

The people we boarded the boat with were all foreigners, and my husband and I, who don't understand English, felt a bit anxious. However, the staff, who were also foreigners, spoke to us in Japanese, which made us feel at ease!

We went quite high up, but strangely, I didn't feel scared at all. Personally, I enjoyed the view of Diamond Head and the beautiful scenery from up high!

On the way down, we had a little splash in the sea, but it was fun! I recommend bringing a waterproof camera if you want to capture the views from above. We asked the staff to take photos with a DSLR and purchased an SD card with 70-80 photos for $30. It was worth it for the memories!

I definitely want to do this again next time!

一緒に船に乗った方々が、みんな外国の方々で、英語のわからない私たち夫婦は不安がありましたが、スタッフの方は外国の方でしたが、日本語で話してくださり、安心できました！
けっこう高いところまで上がりましたが、不思議と怖さはなく(個人的に)ダイヤモンドヘッドや素敵な景色を高いところから堪能できました！
降りてくるときは海ポチャのおまけつきでしたが、楽しかったです！
上空からの景色をとりたい方は防水カメラを持っていくことをオススメします。
私たちは、スタッフの方々が一眼レフで撮ってくれるのをお願いし、70～80データ入りSDを購入しました。30＄でしたが、思い出になるので購入して満足です！

It was my first time horseback riding, and the horses were adorable. I was nervous at first, but I got used to it during the ride, and the 90 minutes flew by.
