I visited Haleiwa before, but at that time, I only walked around the town and didn't have any special activities. This time, I participated because there was a plan for horseback riding, which my wife loves, and it included a coastal exploration. The horseback riding along the beach was fantastic, walking through places you wouldn't normally step into, with beautiful scenery and a refreshing sea breeze—it was the best time ever. I think I might join again next year!

We had a really nice time. Saw some sea turtles and some fish. Unfortunately it was windy and a boat of scuba divers scared off the fish and turtles or should I say made it hard to keep up with them. The crew was completely awesome. The sail to the other side of Diamond Head was amazing. We had a really good time.

We were on our honeymoon and had a really great time. I would give it 4.5 stars but that wasn't an option so they got 5 because it was better than 4. Food was good and entertainment was excellent. Pictures and drinks were pricey but I guess that's expected.

I couldn't see sea turtles on the tour, but I was very satisfied to see many here. If you can swim, please consider renting or bringing your own fins. It seems to be a diving spot, and if you can dive to about 5 to 6 meters, you can see a variety of colorful fish. The area near the surface is full of black fish, so if you're confident in your swimming, give it a try. The staff was friendly, which was great.

I've been to Hawaii over ten times, and I've always thought, "I want to try this next time!" but I never got around to it. This time, making a reservation with Alawaan was definitely the right choice. Every time I surf at Canoes in Waikiki, I've seen this outrigger canoe and thought, "That looks fun!" I thought I would only get to ride it once or twice, but I ended up going four times and was very satisfied. It was exciting even with small waves, as we picked up speed. Next time, I want to ask for some photos too!

The submarine experience was nice. The inside of the sub was cool and comfortable. The only downside was that I was expecting to see the ocean floor teeming with fishes and corals which was not the case. Instead there were deliberately sunken ships and airplane ruins that served as artificial reefs or the ocean floor would have otherwise been bare. Didn't see any natural corals. But I guess it's not the fault of the tour though their ads were a bit overhyped and misleading with colourful fishes so you would tend to over expect. A fun and unique activity nevertheless for first timers!

I always wanted to check out the Turtle Canyon, and, on this particular trip, I was able to. My only complaint was that it was on the western edge of Waikiki Beach, which was somewhat inconvenient. In a perfect world, it would have been placed in the center of Waikiki's hotel row. I boarded the catamaran and was greeted by a very friendly and personable crew. Once on board, the staff gave us a safety briefing, then explained the protocol for snorkeling the area. Once we arrived at our destination, the captain dropped anchor and the group was off. It was not long before someone spotted some turtles. All of us watched in awe as we observed their underwater universe. We were in the water quite a while before the captain signaled us to come aboard. Then, we were treated to a magnificent sailing past Diamond Head and around Waikiki Beach. Between the snorkeling (an excellent exercise for me), the turtles and the sail, it was a perfect afternoon for me. I was back in time to go with my friend for evening entertainment. This is one of the top three activities you must do before you leave Hawaii. It is truly a magical day!

Star of Honolulu Sunset Buffet Dinner Cruise & Polynesian Show

I took my girlfriend on the Star of Honolulu Sunset Dinner Cruise from Aloha Tower. She was new to Hawaii and was not sure what to expect. I appreciated the fact that they picked us up near the hotel we were staying. Upon arrival, we were guided to our casual dinner level, or deck. This was somewhat bothersome, just because there could have been more flow to it. Once we got on the ship, we were seated promptly. The tables were set and an orchid flower was placed in the middle of the dinner plate. (Very nice) Before long, we were off the dock and on to our adventure. The meal was buffet style, food was okay. While we dined, there was a single singer, who sang many of the songs associated with Hawaii and songs from movies about Hawaii. He was friendly and personable. After dinner, coffee and dessert was served on the outside deck. Shortly after, a smoking hot hula show began, where they explained the history of hula, as well as performed several numbers of Hawaiian music and dancing. While this was happening, a beautiful sunset was developing outside on the deck, and I was able to snap many quality sunset photos. We traveled parallel to the Waikiki hotel row, and went slightly past Diamond Head, before we turned back. It was an awesome experience and truly romantic. I have personally done the luau shows in and around Waikiki, and I always seem to gravitate back to the sunset dinner cruise. My belief is that I get the most value for my money on the sunset dinner cruise. I get a boat ride, a meal, a hula show and the beautiful sunset all for the price of one ticket. I will return.

I participated with my two college-aged daughters, my 48-year-old mother, and my 81-year-old grandfather. My daughters handled it effortlessly, but my mother found paddling tough and got very tired. Still, she was able to ride the waves a few times and had a lot of fun. My grandfather seemed to have difficulty standing up quickly, but he was happy that he managed to stand for a little while. I was moved to see that brief moment of him standing on the board captured in a photo. We all had a great time together across three generations.

I can't ride roller coasters at all, but somehow I managed to fly. However, it was incredibly scary! I was planning to hang my iPhone in a waterproof case around my neck and take pictures from above, but it was more unstable than I expected, and I couldn't let go with both hands. I managed to take some pictures with one hand, but... all the photos turned out slanted. Haha! But it became a great memory.

We went snorkeling as a family for the first time in Hawaii. Since the boat departs right in front of the hotel, you can easily enjoy it without having to go all the way to the North Shore. What surprised me was seeing a group of sea turtles swimming right in front of us. Even without snorkeling, the exhilarating feeling of sailing with the wind filling the sails was refreshing.

I booked three experiences this time, but this was the best one. I didn't expect to be so moved just by the beautiful sunset. The boat itself was filled with a happy atmosphere, and I'm glad I scheduled it for the last day of our trip. My one-year-old baby didn't quite understand, but my 65-year-old mother enjoyed it for 10 minutes. We just cruised while drinking unlimited alcohol from cups as the sun set. Everyone was moved and taking photos. There were no Japanese-speaking staff, only English, but we had a great time.

This was my second time parasailing, and the journey through the sky was really enjoyable! The boat rocked quite a bit, so I almost felt a bit queasy before parasailing, but once I was up in the air, all those feelings disappeared! There weren't many Japanese people that day, but I think it’s okay since you can communicate through gestures.

There was someone at the reception who spoke Japanese, which made me feel comfortable participating. The location was near Waikiki Beach, and I think it's a great activity for those trying it for the first time.

We participated as a couple.
First, we went to the Dole Plantation. At the entrance, the guide took photos of each group! They recommended some ice cream, but since we weren't hungry, I plan to try it next time.

Next, we went to a beach where we could see sea turtles. The turtles weren't on the sandy beach, and we ended up just watching the ones swimming until our time was up.

In Haleiwa, I had planned to eat garlic shrimp from Macky's, but the bus dropped us off quite far from the restaurant, and due to time constraints, we had to give up on that. I was really looking forward to going there when we visited the North Shore, so it was very disappointing. Instead, we ate at a Japanese-owned restaurant called CAMARON, which the guide recommended, but honestly, the garlic shrimp I had around the hotel on another day was better. The service of having shrimp with shells for an extra dollar was convenient and nice. It was very Japanese-style service. After that, we had Huli Huli chicken, which was delicious.

The horseback riding experience was different from what you might find in Japan, where an attendant is always right next to you. After getting on the horse, I was allowed to walk on my own. My horse (Nioi) was very smart; when the horse in front stopped, it would eat grass, but it followed along nicely when the other horse moved, so I didn't have to steer at all. My husband's horse (Rio) seemed to have a hard time as it wandered off to eat grass. It seemed to vary a lot depending on the horse assigned. The beachside ride was pleasant and very enjoyable.

Since we had some extra time, the guide took us to see a rock with a hole in it in Laie and to a macadamia nut factory, which wasn't on the original itinerary! Thank you to our guide.

まずドールプランテーションへ。入口でガイドさんが各組ごとに写真を撮ってくれました！オススメのアイスを紹介してくれましたが、お腹が減っていなかったため、次回チャレンジしたいと思います。

続いて海亀の見えるビーチへ行きました。亀は砂浜にはおらず、泳いでいる亀を見て時間終了してしまいました。

ハレイワの街では、マッキーズのガーリックシュリンプを食べるつもりでいたのですが、バスで降ろされた場所がお店から距離があり、時間的に厳しかった為断念しました。
ノースショアに行ったら絶対行きたいと思っていただけにとても残念でした。代わりにガイドさんがオススメしてくれた日本人経営のCAMARONという店で食べましたが、正直別日にホテル周辺で食べたガーリックシュリンプの方が美味しかった。プラス1ドルでエビの殻付きのサービスがあったのは食べやすくて良かったです。日本人らしいサービスですね。それからフリフリチキンを食べました。こちらは美味しかったです。

乗馬体験は、日本でできるような係の人が常に隣にぴったり付いてるような乗馬と違い、馬に載せてもらった後は、1人で歩かせてくれます。私の馬（ニオイ）はとてもお利口で、前の馬が止まると草を食べたりしていましたが、前が進むとしっかり付いて歩いてくれたので、全く操縦をすることがなかったです。主人の馬（リオ）は草を食べに寄り道して、大変そうでした。担当する馬によって全然違うみたいでした。乗馬での海辺散歩は気持ちよくてとても楽しかったです。

時間に余裕があったので、予定されているスポットとは別に、ぽっかり穴が空いた岩があるライエや、マカデミアナッツ工場へ連れて行ってくれました！ガイドさんありがとうございました。

I stayed at Hilton Hawaiian Village, and the meeting place in front of the hotel was at the family restaurant (gathering in front of IHOP). The meeting location changes depending on the tour, so having Wi-Fi made it reassuring to gather.

There were people from other countries at the meeting place, and while we were showing our vouchers to each other for reassurance, a very flashy wrapped bus arrived! We thought, "This can't be it..." Airplanes flew overhead, and I didn’t feel scared at all as we climbed to 150 meters. Looking down, the ocean was blue! I waved to everyone on the boat and was so glad I did this!!! It was so moving! 私たちは船の分は用意してたのにおじさんの分用意してなくて、この楽しい時間を作り上げる手伝いをしてくれたのに…とめちゃ申し訳ない気分になりました。

I participated with a friend. I think this price is quite cheap considering it includes transportation, meals, and one drink. Most participants were from English-speaking countries, with only about 3 to 4 groups of Japanese. The explanations given on the ship after departure (such as the location of life jackets and the description of drink containers) were all in English. The meal was served buffet-style, and I think it's best to expect light snacks. The flavors were very delicious and seemed to appeal to Japanese tastes! 参加者はほぼ英語圏の方ばかりで、日本人は3～4組くらいでした。

花火開始まで、ダイアモンドヘッド近くをクルーズしていましたが、波が強すぎて少し怖いくらいでした。
(遊園地の『バイキング』的なアトラクションが好きな方にはオススメ)
風もかなり強いので、絶対に防寒対策は必要です。
花火も正面からとても綺麗に見れます！
花火終了後は、すぐに港に引き返しますが、強風に少しうんざりしていたので、むしろ有り難かったです(笑)
ハワイを訪れたら、また絶対に参加したいと思います。

We had a great time with four girls.
We wanted to eat delicious food, go shopping, and play at the beach. This activity was perfect for us!
