I participated in the 150-meter plan. It was quite expensive, but I didn't feel scared at all. However, it was a bit frightening when we were swaying... (laughs) Since it was sunny, the view was very beautiful. You can see Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach all at once. It was surprisingly cold up there, so I recommend wearing a rash guard or a T-shirt (something that can get wet) over your swimsuit. We moved by boat, and it swayed quite a bit, so if you're prone to motion sickness, I think taking anti-nausea medication is a must.

There were two other Japanese couples on the same boat, and we took turns flying. We were the last ones, but we collaborated with the other couples to take photos and videos, and exchanged them via AirDrop afterward! While local people can take photos for you, it costs an additional $30 to get the data on an SD card. Since we didn't have any videos, I recommend collaborating with fellow tour participants to take videos and exchange them later if possible. By the way, we bought the SD card, but they take photos with a DSLR, so the quality is better than a smartphone. They captured moments like when we splashed into the water very well. There were about 60 photos included.

For those unsure about the height, I recommend the 150 meters! I have a slight fear of heights, but I hardly felt scared. I think the higher you go, the more beautiful the view is. I flew with my iPhone in a waterproof case and took photos from the sky as well. Just keep in mind that if you drop it, they won't retrieve it for you, so bring it at your own risk.

他に日本人カップルが2組おり、一緒の船で順番に飛びました。私たちは最後だったのですが、他のカップルと協力して写真・動画を撮り合い、終わった後にAirDropで交換しました！写真なら現地の方が撮ってくれますが、SDカードでデータを貰うのに別途$30かかります。動画はないので、ツアー参加者同士で協力できそうなら撮り合って後で交換するのもおススメです。ちなみに私たちはSDカードも買いましたが、一眼レフで撮ってくれるので画質はスマホより良いです。水ぽちゃした瞬間などしっかり収めてくれていました。計60枚程度入っていました。
高度で迷っている方は150メートルをおすすめします！私は若干高所恐怖症ですが、怖さはほとんど感じませんでした。高い方が景色は断然綺麗だと思います。私は防水ケースに入れたiPhoneをもって飛び、上空からも撮影しました。ただもちろん落としても拾ってくれないので自己責任で持ち込んでください。

At first, he was scared, but as he got used to it, he started exploring the inside of the boat and enjoyed sitting and lying down on the net at the front. We also encountered a pod of dolphins multiple times, and there were dolphins that showed off their jumps and spins, which made my son very excited! It was a satisfying cruise, not only because of the beautiful views of Diamond Head and the ocean from the boat but also for the chance to meet the dolphins.

It was the perfect day to go sailing. It was raining a lot for the past couple days so I was happy that the weather cleared up when we went. Sunny weather, relaxing Hawaiian music playing while sipping on Maitais. A wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

For the toilet, it is your standard boat toilet where you have to go down a ladder through a narrow tunnel to get to the toilet. Luckily, I didn't drink too much so I didn't have to use the bathroom during our 90-minute sail.

Overall, I had a great time and would love to go again!

The tour itself was very satisfying.

On the way there, we were picked up at the hotel, but we weren't on the way back... It seemed that other Japanese groups and the foreign group we were with on the bus were called out, but our family was ignored... We felt sad because no one spoke to us. Do we need to report for the return trip...? Since there was nothing we could do, we walked to Ala Moana Center. It was quite a distance, and my feet started to hurt (>_<).

We visited Hawaii as a family for my sister's wedding, participating in a sunset sailing tour with my family (children aged 11 and 5), my brother's family (children aged 7 and 4), and our parents (over 60). Everyone, including my parents, was very satisfied and enjoyed the tour. To help those who will participate in the future, I will share my experience step by step.

(1) "Reservation"
I made the reservation through the VELTRA website. There were no particular issues, and the application process was straightforward. Since there were 10 family members participating, I made the reservation as early as possible. I believe changes to the number of participants or cancellations were possible, so I recommend making an early reservation.

(2) "Check-in (on the day)"
We participated around late November. Since we were informed that the check-in time was at 4:30 PM, we made sure to arrive 15 minutes early. However, we had some time to spare before boarding (I can't remember the exact time, but it was around 4:45 PM or 5 PM), which made us feel a bit idle. The meeting point was a small beach near the Sheraton, and if the wait is long, it might get boring. If you know the exact meeting location, I think it's fine to head there right at the check-in time (4:30 PM).

(3) "Boarding"
We boarded the yacht that was docked at the beach near the Sheraton Hotel. As stated on the voucher, you will need to climb three steps of a ladder from the beach, so your lower legs will almost certainly get wet. 妹の結婚式のため家族でハワイへ訪れ、私の家族（子供11歳、5歳）、兄の家族（子供7歳、4歳）、両親（60歳以上）でサンセットセーリングに参加しました。両親含め、全員大満足でツアーを楽しむことができました。 これから参加する方のため、順を追って体験談を書き残しておきます。 (1)"予約時" 予約はVELTRAのサイトから実施しました。特に悩むところもなく申し込みできました。 家族10名の参加だったため、できるだけ早く申し込んでおきました。 予約人数の変更やキャンセルも可能だったと思いますので、早めの予約をお勧めします。 (2)"チェックイン時（当日）" 参加したのは11月下旬ごろでした。 チェックイン時間は16時半と事前に連絡があったため、15分前に到着するように移動しました。 ただ、乗船時間(16時45分？17時？正確な時間は忘れました）まで、時間があり、時間を持て余しました。 集合場所は、シェラトンのそばの小さなビーチで、待ち時間が長いと退屈してしまうかもしれません。 集合場所が正確にわかっているのであれば、チェックイン時間（16時半）ちょうどに向かっても問題ないと思います。 (3)"乗船時" シェラトンホテルそばのビーチに、ヨットが停まっているため、そのヨットに乗船することになります。 バウチャーに記載の通り、ビーチから3段のはしごを上ることになるため、ほぼ確実に膝下は濡れます。 バウチャーの通り、膝下が濡れても問題ない服装で参加するようにしたほうがいいです。 私の家族は、私が伝えそびれていて、長ズボンで参加する人もいて、ズボンを巻き上げて乗船しなければならくなってしまいました。 (4)"セーリング開始時" 乗船すると、船員（2名）が英語で、いろいろと説明してくれます。 かなり流暢な英語で説明されるので、すべて理解するのは難しいですが、ポイントは次の通りかと思います。 ①ヨット先端の両端は歩いて移動しても問題ない。 　 ②ヨット先端の中央部は危ないので、移動しないこと。 　 ③お酒すべて飲み放題！ (※)ツアー予約時は「飲み放題」とありますが、バウチャーに「アルコール購入の際はID(パスポートや国際免許証等)の提示が求められます。」と記載されており、少し混乱しますが、「飲み放題」です！ (5)"セーリング中" セーリング中は、座席に座っている必要はなく、自由に動くことが可能です。 私たちが参加したときは、かなり多くの方が参加しており、座席は満席でした（サンクスギビングデーの前日だったからだと思います）。 また、参加者は、半数は日本人、半数は外国人、という感じだったと思います。 ヨット上で自由な雰囲気なので、ほかの参加者の方とも楽しく会話でき、非常に楽しかったです。 なお、ヨット内にはトイレが設置されていますのでご安心ください。トイレはヨットの地下にありました。少し狭いですが、問題なく使うことができました。 (6)"下船時" 下船時も、乗船時と同じく少し濡れてしまうので、気を付けてください。 また、少し暗くなっているので、お子様連れの場合は気を付けてあげてください。 また、チップについては、下船時に船員の方にお渡しすればいいと思います。

I rode a submarine for the first time! When I heard we would be at a depth of 30 meters, I thought it wouldn't be that deep. However, once we actually submerged, the scenery was completely different since we were underwater. It was very surreal.

On December 1st, I participated with five friends during a training trip. I was worried because none of us could speak English, but the staff were very kind and mixed in a little Japanese while talking, which made me feel very relieved. Although the number of participants was odd, they prepared a setup for three people so that we could fly in groups of three and two. After flying, while we were waiting on the boat, they played music and engaged us in conversation, so we never got bored and had a lot of fun! My husband and I LOVED this excursion!! We got to swim with sea turtles! It was absolutely amazing! Brad went out of his way to make our experience a great one and knew so much about the area. All of the crew were extremely accomodating and very courteous and personable. We went on a Monday morning and practically had the whole catamaran to ourselves (which they say isn’t normal, but was awesome!).
It was an unforgettable experience and I can’t wait to take our kids to Hawaii and on this excursion!

Every time I come to Honolulu, I always go on a sunset cruise, and I consistently choose the Mai Tai Catamaran. I've tried various options, including large dinner boats and other catamarans, but depending on the wind that day, the speed of the boat adds to the experience, making it one of the best ways to enjoy the sunset. Since it's off the coast of Waikiki, the boat doesn't rock too much, so I think you'll have a great time. However, the staff and crew mainly speak English, but I don't think it will be a problem even if you can't speak it.

We have a 4 and 7 year old. 4 year old had no interest in going in the water but really enjoyed the boat ride. The amount of time we were on the boat was just right for little ones (2-2.5 hours). Our 7 year old really wanted to snorkel with sea turtles and she saw several, so this was perfect. Super fun and really nice crew. They were kind to our kids and made sure that our little one got to see some fish and even pointed out sea turtles coming up for air so she didn’t feel like she missed out on anything. If you are comfortable with adult beverages being around, this is a great excursion for families with kids and beginner snorkelers. Compared to some of the other outfitters around, they are also very well-priced. Felt like this was a good value and an afternoon well spent.

I was worried about seasickness, so I took some medicine before going. It was quite rocky, so it was a good decision to take it! I participated at 120m, and it wasn't scary at all! In the end, I got splashed in the sea! (It's fine if you let them know you don't want that.) The weather was nice, so the view was great and it was the best! They explain things in simple Japanese, so I felt reassured!

船酔いが心配だったので、薬を飲んで行きました。けっこう揺れるので飲んでいて正解でした！120mで参加しましたが、全然こわくなかったです！最後に海ポチャされました！(してほしくなければ伝えれば大丈夫です)
天気が良かったので、景色もよく最高でした^^

It was amazing!
We happened to see a rainbow and had a wonderful time as if we were the only two enjoying the breathtaking view.
It swayed a bit in the wind, but that was fun too.
In the end, we splashed into the sea!!! We got quite wet.

Motion sickness medication is a must!
It was a fun 10-minute experience of floating in the air!

I experienced this with my son. Those who understood Japanese seemed to have a little bit of Korean, but everyone was kind, and both my child and I had fun riding together. When we got tired of paddling, they pulled us along and took us to the waves. However, the only downside was that there were no photos taken. Also, I wasn't sure who Hands was or if he was even there, as the young guys were the ones teaching us. Next time, I want to bring my own GoPro.

息子と2人で体験しました。
日本語がわかるかたは韓国の方が少し出来る感じでしたが、皆さん優しくて子供も私も立てて乗れて楽しかったです。
パドリングも疲れたら、ずっと引っ張って波まで連れていってくれました。
ただ、残念なのは写真が一枚もなかった事かな。
後、ハンズさんは一体誰なのか、いないのかよくわからないまま若いお兄ちゃん達が教えてくれました。
次回は自分のゴープロ持参で行きたいです

I used this for my honeymoon trip.

There were many other foreign tourists participating as well, but there were crew members who could speak Japanese, so I was able to hear the explanations in Japanese until we boarded the submarine. The transfer to the submarine is by boat, and you can enjoy the breeze on the deck, which feels nice. On the day I went, the boat was quite rocky, so those who are prone to seasickness might want to take some motion sickness medication beforehand.

Once on the submarine, you can see various things like colorful fish, sea turtles, and a sunken airplane that you wouldn't typically see in Japan. After boarding the submarine, there are multilingual headphones available, so you can listen to the explanations in Japanese. The inside of the submarine is quite cool, so I recommend bringing warm clothing.

他の外国人の観光客の方もたくさん参加していますが、船員さんに日本語を話せる方がいるので、潜水艦に乗るまでの説明は日本語で聞くことができます。
潜水艦までの移動は船なので、デッキに出れば風に当たることができ、気持ちいいです。私が乗った日は船が結構揺れていた為、船酔いする方は酔い止めを飲んでおいた方が良いかもしれません。

潜水艦に乗ってからは、日本で見ないようなカラフルな魚やウミガメ、沈んだ飛行機等色んな物が見えます。
潜水艦に乗った後も多国語対応のヘッドホンがあるので、日本語で解説を聞く事ができます。
潜水艦の中はかなりクーラーが効いているため、防寒着を持っておく事をお勧めします。

I’m not a big boat person, but I’m so glad my friends convinced me to come out with them! The staff is amazing. My friends & I showed up past the check-in time, but they were nice enough to wait for us! As your sailing out, the view is GREAT... So take lotssss of pictures! Definitely recommend this cruise!
