I have done parasailing several times, but this was the highest in terms of altitude and airtime, allowing me to enjoy a leisurely stroll in the sky! The top of Diamond Head was almost at eye level, and I was able to enjoy a view looking down on Waikiki, so I’m glad I chose the 150m parasailing. You do get dropped into the sea quite a bit, but that was fun too. The staff spoke a bit of Japanese and had a sense of humor, which made it enjoyable. They also took plenty of photos while we were flying. However, since the boat has no roof, sun protection is essential.

We traveled to the parasailing location by a small boat. During the ride, the cheerful instructor kept the atmosphere lively and played music, which made it a lot of fun! After moving over the bright blue sea for a while, we took off, and the view of Oahu from the sky was truly breathtaking—a rare sight that can only be seen here. Each group had about 5 minutes, and when we participated, there were four other groups, so there was a bit of a wait. Since the boat kept moving while we waited, those who are prone to motion sickness might want to have some motion sickness medication. Lastly, it was great that we could purchase photos taken by the instructor with a camera on an SD card (it cost an additional $30, but I bought it). I would definitely like to request this again when I visit Hawaii!

I participated in the 10 AM session with my 4-year-old son. The guide, who has experience scuba diving in Japan, was fantastic! He encouraged my son, who was scared to go down the stairs to the submarine, saying, "It's not scary—it's exciting!" The guide was also fluent in Japanese and shared a lot of interesting details about the ocean, likely due to his scuba diving experience. Although the view was somewhat monochrome, my son was thrilled every time we got closer to the reef, exclaiming, "It's the fish's house!" I recommend bringing a jacket since it gets cold in the submarine. The round-trip boat ride was quite bumpy, but I didn't get seasick since I stayed on the second deck. I was very satisfied with the whale watching I participated in at Shiretoko and Okinawa, so I joined the one in Hawaii with high expectations. I was surprised that we encountered whales right away without having to go far out to sea. Perhaps it’s because they come close to the land to give birth. Because of this, the whales' movements were rather subdued, and we only saw a little bit of their dorsal fins and tails a few times, which was a bit different from the intense experience I had imagined. However, I definitely felt the excitement.

I had the best time on this simple, but fun and beautiful catamaran Cruise. The staff and crew were great, and even though I was traveling alone, they made us all feel welcome and like friends! The crew told us stories and brought us drinks while we enjoyed the ride.

The views were absolutely stunning, and it was a blast sailing though the bouncing waves. I thought about booking again the next day, but sadly couldn’t find the time! If I’m ever back in Waikiki, I will definitely join this cruise again.

Waikiki Dive Center is a small dive shop that works with both beginners and experienced divers. The boat is small (no bathroom). We had 7 divers on the boat, including instructors. Water is provided, but you must bring your own food.

Since this was my sixth time diving (not certified), they did a quick review of skills with me, but I did not need much instruction. My dive instructor pointed out some interesting sea creatures including a small octopus (too fast for me to get a picture). Lots or turtles at this dive site.

Only down side was the second dive was at the same site, but we did explore more on the 2nd dive.

I am considering going back there to get certified.

They picked us up on time and took us straight to the yacht harbor. From there, we went quite far out on a cruiser, and that alone was a lot of fun! The tour guide spoke broken Japanese, but I could understand the explanations somewhat! Since it was a special occasion, we went for the 120m option, but it was so high that it was terrifying! However, it was a lot of fun and made for great memories. The view overlooking Waikiki was amazing, and I wanted to capture the scenery from above in photos! If I ever come back to Hawaii, I would definitely like to do it again. I gave a $10 tip to each of the two staff members. The two overseas guests who were with us seemed to have given $5 for both. I purchased the data from the photos taken with a DSLR on an SD card for $35 as a keepsake. I'm looking forward to seeing them on my PC when I get home!

Really enjoyed this catamaran sunset sail. Curtis and Pono the crew were really accommodating and made all the difference in the experience. Sunset was perfect and they made sure all the best views were seen, and even acted as photographers when needed! Also liked that we were able to bring our own drinks, and that the boat had a cooler so our drinks didn’t go cold.

I had no experience with surfing, but I participated with the feeling that it would be cool to surf in Hawaii. I can't speak English, but I think I was able to prepare the minimum necessary because the staff explained the precautions in Japanese during the video before the lesson. I could somewhat understand the lesson through English words. There were 8 of us with 2 instructors, but 4 of us were able to ride the waves right away, so it was effectively 1 instructor for every 2 people. My own performance wasn't great, but I had fun playing in the waves.
