On New Year's Day 2020, I enjoyed a view of Waikiki from the sky. Most tours take a break on New Year's Day, so be careful when planning your schedule! They do operate during the year-end, though. Thank you for the paragliding experience I participated in! They were open on New Year's Day! There were two groups with a total of seven people. The wind was just right, not too cold, and it was perfect. One downside was that the pick-up location was in the city rather than at the hotel, which made me a bit anxious, but it turned out fine.

This was my tenth trip to Hawaii, and I encountered a tour that I want to join every time! I had a bad experience with seasickness during a sunset dinner cruise, so I was worried, but this tour was just fine. The conversations were mostly in English, and since we could drink alcohol, the atmosphere was very lively. My elderly mother also said this was the most enjoyable part of the trip. Since it said to gather at 10:30, I arrived around 10:20 and was told that roll call would be taken at the beach starting at 10:45, so I waited for nearly 30 minutes on the beach. The weather was nice, and the breeze felt pleasant. There were many international guests on board, and we had a great time taking photos together. We went further out than I expected, and it was fun to splash in the water as we moved along. Seeing Diamond Head and the streets of Waikiki from a different angle revealed a different charm. I will definitely participate again.

Got to see a lovely sunset (our last in 2019) drinks were flowing and we were always asked if we wanted more, friendly staff and overall very nice experience. I'd recommend especially if anyone has no other opportunity to see a sunset from the sea or the Honolulu skyline at night from afar (looking in from the ocean).

You have plenty of time on the submarine to fully enjoy the scenery underwater. I was able to see sharks and sea turtles! (Maybe I was just lucky.) The elementary school children also seemed to have fun looking for fish. The boat before switching to the submarine swayed quite a bit, so I noticed a few people feeling seasick before the main event. I recommend taking motion sickness precautions for those who are not confident on boats.

Since I always played golf, I decided to try surfing for the first time while in Hawaii. When I went to the surf shop offering lessons, there was quite a crowd waiting, which was encouraging. It was a semi-private lesson, but I felt there wasn't much difference from a group lesson. The timing for paddling with the waves was entirely up to the coach. Since I was on a longboard, I was able to stand up right from the start, which was fun. However, paddling out to the ocean was tough, and that was quite challenging. I'm excited that there are more options in Hawaii to enjoy in the future.

This was an awesome way to begin our first full "relax day" in Honolulu. The crew on this catamaran was outstanding. They were very friendly and welcoming and really made you feel like they were there just for you. Perfect amount of people on board. The drinks were delicious and rum aplenty. I think if we were to do this again, we would pay for back to back cruises so we'd have more time. Waikiki & Diamond Head from that viewpoint were unbelievable. Thanks for a great time!!!
