We experienced parasailing at 150 meters for the first time at the request of my daughters, who are in 6th and 4th grade. We signed up for the 1 PM session and were a bit anxious due to reviews about delays in transportation, but a cheerful driver arrived right on time to pick us up.

The view of Diamond Head and Waikiki during the parasailing was amazing and refreshing! My husband and I, who are afraid of heights, were quite nervous due to the altitude, but our daughters were absolutely thrilled. I'm glad we chose the 150 meters! At the end, thanks to the veteran captain's skill, we were gently dropped into the water. Everyone in the tour was watching, and he made sure our heads didn't go under the water! Initially, we hoped for a sunset cruise, but it was fully booked even a week in advance during summer vacation. However, the daytime cruise was available even two days prior. My parents in their 70s and my elementary school-aged child were able to enjoy the views of the Hawaiian sea and the sea breeze unique to sailing. The scenery might be better during the day. My middle school son is prone to seasickness and felt quite exhausted, so I recommend taking motion sickness medication if you're susceptible to it.

There were many foreign tourists, but it wasn't a problem at all. You can order drinks, but I didn't see many people doing so. We had our photos taken before boarding, but I had no idea when they were selling them, and my limited English made it difficult to confirm. Also, when boarding and disembarking, we had to take off our shoes and walk in the water or up the stairs of the boat, which was challenging for my mother with foot issues, but the staff were very helpful. We had heard we might see dolphins or sea turtles, but unfortunately, we didn't. Overall, we were satisfied.

My overall impression of the experience was good. What I liked most about the activity was seeing the fish while snorkeling. I also saw a few turtles bobbing in and out of the water. There was a boat passing with some dolphins visible which was a nice surprise. My advice for future participants include taking precautions for any motion sickness because the water can make the boat rock a bit depending on the waves. Otherwise its a nice experience overall. It was great at the end of the trip when our shoes were lined up before exiting the ship.

I had so much fun the first time that I wanted to experience it again! This time, the wind was strong and I felt a bit nervous at first, but once I got used to it, it was really enjoyable. The view of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the sea is beautiful, but as the catamaran moves, the changing shades of blue in the ocean are truly breathtaking.

This was my second time parasailing, so I decided to challenge myself at the highest altitude of 150 meters! Up I went smoothly into the sky. It felt amazing! I thought, "Oh, this isn't so high," but after a while... wait, am I going up again? It's so high! I don't mind heights, but it's a bit scary... However, I was able to enjoy a lot of time in the air, and by the end, I felt like I could go even higher! I'm really glad I chose the highest option. My wife, who isn't fond of heights, seemed to enjoy it while saying it was scary, especially since we were with our child. And then, at the end, we plunged into the sea! I highly recommend this dinner cruise! This cruise is unique in that it’s a formal dinner, a sunset cruise, and a luau all wrapped up into one delicious and entertaining evening. I’m vegan and always skeptical of trying vegan options, but this dinner far exceeded my expectations. The jazz band did not disappoint either. Good music goes a long way in my book, so I can easily say the saxophonist was actually my favorite part of the evening. The band happened to play one of my favorite songs and it made my day, the icing on the cake.

The day I participated, it was packed with about 40 people, and there was barely enough room to sit. There were four crew members. I attended with elementary school children, but the explanation for using the snorkeling gear was very brief, and after that, everyone pretty much did their own thing. During sailing, the crew said it was optional to wear life jackets, and since they came around to collect them, none of the participants ended up wearing them.

I was able to see a sea turtle, and I spotted dolphins jumping in the distance, which was great, but I felt it might be more of an adult-oriented tour.

参加した日は40人くらいの満員状態で席もギリギリ座れるという状態でした。クルーは4人でした。小学生を連れての参加でしたがシュノーケリングの使い方はサラッと説明するくらいで、始まってからはほとんど各自で勝手にやるというかんじでした。セーリングの時は救命胴衣は着けても着けなくてもよいと言ってクルーが回収しにきて参加者全員着用してませんでした。

On the day of the trip, the wind speed was 5 m/s. Once we were out at sea, there were some waves that splashed water on us, but it felt like a little adventure and was quite fun! Most of the time, there wasn't much rocking, and we could enjoy the scenery and the sunset! My high school son was very satisfied as well. However, among about 50 passengers, there was one person who felt unwell. I took motion sickness medication just in case.

In late August, it was sunny. We participated as a couple with two middle school students. It was everyone's first time parasailing. I tend to get motion sickness, so I took some anti-nausea medication, but it was nice that there were only a few of us, just our family and two foreign sisters. (The people who rode after us were a large group, so I felt like I might get seasick while waiting for them to finish... Either way, it's better to take the medication. The boat sways quite a bit!)

I didn't talk much with the captain, but he was a nice person, and the instructor was funny and kind, making the conversation enjoyable! (He understands a little Japanese and seems familiar with Japanese people, so I think it's fine even if you can't speak English.)

Our family and the sisters were all dropped into the sea at the beginning or the end! That was fun too. I was chatting with the instructor before we started, and it naturally led to, "Well, we have to drop you into the water, Japan!" I don't know how it usually goes, but if you really want to be dropped into the sea, it might be good to express that desire.

The view from 150 meters was amazing! When the boat swayed, I couldn't help but scream like it was an amusement park ride. Haha. I wasn't worried about falling at all. I put my smartphone in a waterproof case hanging around my neck and recorded videos, but since there was some swaying, please ensure your own safety while filming. (If you're anxious about operating it up there, it might be a good idea to keep the camera rolling from before takeoff until landing. I can't guarantee the quality, but it's one way to do it.)

Also, we had to wait until the previous group returned before we could board the moving boat, and after boarding (only those buying the photo SD had to line up), but it didn't feel like we waited too long at all.

I would love to try again with the same captain and instructor!

船長さんとはそんなに話さなかったけど良い人だったし、インストラクターの人は面白いし優しくてお喋りが楽しかったです！(日本語も少し通じますし日本人にも慣れてらっしゃる感じですので英語話せなくても大丈夫だと思います。)
私達家族もお姉さん達も最初か最後に海に落とされました！それも楽しかったです。私はやる前にインストラクターさんとお喋りしてて、じゃあジャポンと落とさないとね〜という流れに自然となったので普段がどうかわかりませんが、絶対海に入れてほしい人は一言やってほしい気持ちを伝えるといいかもしれませんね。
150mからの景色は最高でした！
揺れたりするとアトラクションのようにキャーキャー言ってしまいます。笑。落ちる心配は全然無かったです。首から下げる防水ケースにスマホ入れて動画なども撮りましたが、揺れもあるのでご自身で安全を確認しながら撮って下さい。(上で操作するのが不安な方は、飛ぶ前から降りるまでずっと動画回しっぱなしでもいいかもしれませんね。ちゃんと撮れるかわかりませんが一つの方法として。)
あと、移動するボートに乗るまで( 前の人達のボートが戻ってこないと私達がいけない入れ替え制でした)と乗ったあと(写真のSDを買う人だけですが並んで順番)に待たされますが、すごく待たされた感じは無かったです。
また同じ船長さんとインストラクターさんでトライしたいです。

We signed up for parasailing at 9:00 with three people, but one person was unwell, so we participated with two. The pickup was a bit late... We boarded the boat with three families, and there was a pouch with instructions for Japanese guests. They asked if we wanted to take photos. I thought $30 was too much, so I declined. You can choose to either jump into the sea or be lowered onto the boat. Everyone else jumped into the sea! I wanted to take a video with my phone, so I asked to be lowered onto the boat. I wasn't sure where the return van was... The driver from the van we took there was present, so when I mentioned the hotel name, he directed me to another van driver who said ●● Hotel and encouraged me to get on. I felt a bit forgotten? I should have recognized my name being called, but it didn't feel like that... Well, I made it back to the hotel safely, so that's good. We returned in the morning, so we could play in the afternoon as well.

We had a pleasant video training session before heading to the beach. The beach was visible as we left the hotel. It took about ten minutes to walk there, and three coaches were already waiting for us, conducting a relaxed lesson on the sandy beach (practicing paddling and standing).
The boards were long and a bit heavy. We paired up to carry them to the sea and moved out into the waves.
On this day, the waves were about three meters high.
As a 67-year-old beginner, it required quite a bit of physical strength.
In the end, I was able to stand for about five seconds. Lacking stamina and with the high waves, I got tired after three attempts and returned to shore alone.
Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience in Hawaii. This was my fifth trip to Hawaii, and I thoroughly enjoyed a Hawaii like no other.

体力無く、波高く、３回で疲れて岸に単独で戻りました。
いいハワイ経験させていただきありがとうございました。
ハワイ旅行は５度目ですが、今までにないハワイを満喫いたしました。
