I've been to Hawaii several times, but this was my first experience participating in this tour. I've seen sharks through glass and from a boat, but this time, even though there was a cage, the sensation of swimming right next to them was thrilling and very enjoyable. We left our hotel in Waikiki early and arrived in about 50 minutes. The place we got off at was locked, and upon closer inspection, it seemed a bit different, so we walked a bit further and found a sign that said "Check-In," where we waited. However, even when the meeting time came, they didn't arrive for quite a while and showed up 10 minutes later. The explanation was only in English, and I could only understand a little through gestures. At first, I was scared, but once I got used to it, I was able to enjoy horseback riding while feeling the North Shore breeze.

I was fine, but a foreign participant with us seemed to have some issues. My husband said his butt hurt. It was a valuable experience.

However, our lack of English skills meant that the details of our reservation were completely ignored. They were promoting plans like having another cameraman fly and take photos, and there are plans that allow you to fly even higher, targeting Japanese customers. As a beginner, I ended up with a plan that goes up to the highest altitude with an oxygen mask, which was a big misunderstanding, so please be careful! But it was so much fun!

Absolutely loved and enjoyed this experience. It was my husband’s first time, and he had the time of his life. This experience would have been nothing without the zip lining associates that were so professional, yet encouraging and light hearted at the same time! Special shoutout to Reagan & Shiloh, what an awesome crew! I forgot the guys name but he was great too, made some funny jokes on our atv ride out to the zip lines. Speaking of zip lines, such a fun experience and a great workout might I add. If you have a fear of heights that you want to get over, then this zip lining crew is the one you want!!

PS, if you’re driving from Wakiki to this place, be prepared to be blown away with some breathtaking views of the island!

I took advantage of the pick-up service to Waikiki. In the morning, a cheerful older man came to pick me up in a van. All 11 of us boarded the 11-seater, and it took a little over an hour to reach the North Shore.

I was expecting some safety instructions before the jump, but the instructor helped me put on the gear and briefly said in broken Japanese where to place my hands just before jumping, to "arch my back" while in the air, and to lift my legs upon landing. あとは、飛行機に乗り込んでジャンプしてエビゾリして足上げて着地して終わりです。
記念品をもらいます。その時チップを入れる袋をもらいます。チップを入れて箱に入れます。

帰りの車も同じメンバーで乗って帰ります。
スマホいじりながらサンドイッチを食べながら高速道路を運転するのは少し怖かったですが無事帰りました。

The flight start time was delayed because the fuel truck took a while to arrive, but we were able to fly for a full hour.

During the experience, I was able to hold the control stick from takeoff to landing. Takeoff and landing are difficult, so I had to assist, but I still felt like I was piloting the plane. Once we successfully took off, I was able to fly the plane freely. The instructor guided me on the route, and I maneuvered along the highway and coastline. The sensation of controlling the plane up, down, left, and right was truly moving. The instructor handled the more challenging operations of the yoke and throttle, allowing me to focus on controlling the stick.

The weather was great, and seeing Oahu from the sky was breathtaking with its rich natural beauty. At various points, the instructor introduced sightseeing spots, and I was also able to take photos while the instructor handled the piloting. Both the instructor and the staff took many photos for us. They were friendly and easy to talk to, and they were very kind. 風が強く島の東側は大変揺れるとのことだったので、離陸後、島の中央を北上しそこから西周りで島を一周しました。フライトの開始時間は給油車がなかなか来なくて遅れましたが、しっかり1時間飛べました。
体験操縦ですが、離陸から着陸まで操縦桿を握ることが出来ました。
離陸、着陸は難しいので、手を添える形にはなりますが、十分操縦をしている感覚を得られます。無事離陸したら、自由に飛行機を操れるようになります。教官からルートを教えていただき、高速道路や海岸線に沿って飛ぶように操縦しました。上下左右に自分で飛行機を操縦している感覚は感動ものです。初心者には難しいヨークやスロットルの操作は教官がやってくださるので操縦桿の操作に集中出来ます。
天気が良く、空から見るオアフ島は自然豊かで絶景でした。要所要所で、教官が観光名所を紹介してくださり、また操縦を教官に任せて写真を撮ることも出来ます。教官やスタッフさんも写真を沢山撮ってくださいました。教官もスタッフさんも気さくな方で話しやすく大変親切にしてくださいました。今回はスタッフに加え、教官も日本人だったのでオール日本語で体験出来、助かりました。

一生の思い出となる体験が出来ました。
大変満足しています。ありがとうございました

I had always wanted to try horseback riding, but since the youngest was 7 and the oldest was 69, it was hard to find a place where everyone could ride together. Just when I was about to give up, I found this place!

I signed up for a one-hour course that started at 8:45 AM. We left Waikiki just after 7 AM, stopped at Leonard's to buy and eat malasadas on the way, and arrived at the location just in time for the meeting. We parked in the spacious parking lot and received instructions from the staff at the reception, then signed the waiver.

Wearing helmets was optional for adults, but of course, everyone wore one! We only put our phones and car keys in the provided leather bags. After using the restroom and playing with the goats and sheep in the area, it was suddenly time to start.

Each person was helped onto a horse, and we received a brief explanation on how to ride: pull the reins to stop, turn the reins in the direction you want to go, and give a light kick to the belly if the horse stops moving. Even the 7-year-old was able to ride alone and we set off right away! At first, I was nervous, but the horses were all calm and smart, which made me feel at ease.

There were hills to climb and we weaved through a herd of cows, making it feel like an attraction, which was enjoyable. We could take pictures anytime, but since we had to hold the reins, it was a bit tricky to operate the phone with one hand while turning around to take a shot. It might be difficult for those who aren't used to handling their phone with one hand. The ranch staff took quite a few pictures for us, but they were $8 each, so we decided not to purchase any.

Since we had a child with us, we moved at a relatively slow pace, but I would have liked to ride faster if it were just adults. Also, the 7-year-old was placed at the back, so everyone had to be mindful of the pace, and it would have been best if the adults were at the back instead.

We chose the one-hour course, but it actually lasted over an hour, which was more than enough. By the end, my hips and thighs were shaking! All the staff were women, and the restrooms and animal areas were kept relatively clean, which was quite impressive (though there was a lot of dust). The kids said that horseback riding was the most fun part! I highly recommend it!

ワイキキを7時過ぎに出発し、途中レナーズでマラサダを購入し食べならがレンタカーにて現地へ。集合時間ギリギリに到着
広々とした駐車場に適当に駐車して、受付でお姉さんからの説明を受け、免責の書類にサイン。

最初は緊張しましたが、大人しく頭のいい馬ばかりだったので、乗っているこちらも安心できました。
坂道があったり牛の群れの間をすり抜けたり、アトラクション的な感じもあって楽しめます。
写真もいつでも自分たちで撮れます。
が、手綱は持ったままになりますので、片手で携帯を操作し、さらに後ろに振り向いてシャッターを押さないといけませんので、片手で携帯の操作をし慣れてる人じゃないと難しいかなと。
牧場の方もかなり撮ってくれますが、1枚8ドルだったので、購入はせず…
また、子供がいたのでかなりゆっくりのスピードで進んでくれましたが、大人ばかりならもっと早いスピードでも乗ってみたかったかな〜。
それと、7歳の子供が一番後ろに配置されたので、みんなが後ろを気をしながら進まないといけなく、できたら大人を最後にしてもらえたらベストではありました。

今回1時間のコースにしましたが、実質1時間以上あり十分でした。
最後になると股関節も太もももワナワナしてきて笑
スタッフは全員女性で、トイレや動物のいる所も比較的綺麗に保たれており、かなり好感持てました。(砂埃は凄かったですが)
子供達も、乗馬が一番楽しかったと言っていました‼️

I had a great time leisurely exploring the North store and carefully considering the artwork I couldn't buy due to time constraints. The market was also open, so I took my time browsing there as well. I was able to visit Seven Brothers, which I had wanted to do.

However, I was a bit surprised by the driver's incredible driving. It might be tough for the elderly. I almost bit my tongue while dozing off! (>_<)

I wanted to try skydiving at least once in my life, so I booked a plan with an instructor that included a handy camera and transportation.

On the day of the jump, it took about an hour to arrive at the destination from the hotel designated for pickup. I shared the ride with others who had booked at the same time. The driver occasionally spoke to everyone.

インストラクターとともにセスナへ向かいます。私以外に4〜5組くらいいました。セスナの中ではインストラクターが背中に密着した状態で飛ぶ順番に並んで座ります。かなりギチギチです。だんだんと高度が上がっていって雲の上まで到達します。

飛び出すポイントに到着すると、扉を開けて、次々にジャンプを開始します。怖がる余裕すらほぼないと思います。そのくらいどんどん飛び立ちます。

個人的に落下中の感覚は遊園地のアトラクションのフリーフォールとは全く異なるものでした。内臓が持っていれるような気持ちの悪い感覚はなくて、高速で移動してるバイクに乗って風を切っている感覚に近かったです。ただ、とんでもなく速いです。

ゴーグルをかなりきつめにつけるので、落下中でも景色を楽しむことができました。また、インストラクターの方が時々、カメラを顔に向けてくれたり、手でこんな形してみてみたいなことを求めてきてくれます。

パラシュートが開いた後はゆっくりと浮遊して地面まで降ります。私の場合はここが地獄でした。落下中は全く気持ち悪くなりませんでしたが、パラシュートを開いてから急に気分か悪くなりました。おそらくですが落下中に興奮して騒いだり、景色見たり、インストラクターと戯れた結果、呼吸が十分でなく酸欠に近い状態になったのだと思います。
気分が悪い事をインストラクターにすぐ伝えると、後どのくらいで地上につくとか、深呼吸をするようにと優しくアドバイスをくれました。本当にありがたかったです。地面に付いてからは安心して呼吸が整ったからか、すぐに回復し、インストラクターと話したり、器具を片付けることができました。

地上到着後に、スカイダイビングの証明書(兼絵本)、ステッカー、ボールペンをいただけました。このときにチップ用の封筒ももらえます。金額は他の方もかいてますが10〜30ドルくらいです。封筒にはチェック欄があって、運営団体へのチップか、一緒に飛んでくれたインストラクターへのチップかを選ぶことができました。

帰りの車も行きとほぼ同じメンバーでした、ほぼというのは飛ぶタイミングが遅い方が、次のタイミングの送迎に割り当てられたためと思います。プランが違ったり、人数が多かったりするとこういう事があるのかもしれません。ちなみに送迎の運転は、道が悪いのとスピード結構出すため、揺れます。スカイダイビングのこともあるので酔い止め飲んでおいたほうがいいです。送迎の車にはドライバーにチップ渡してね、みたいな張り紙がしてあります。私は妻と2人で乗っていき、行き帰り合計で20ドル渡しました。ドライバーの方は、だいぶ喜ばれていました。

プランの写真と、ビデオは終了してから2、3時間後に登録したメアドに届きました。Gメールだとプロモーションの方に入ってました。

ややアクシデントはあったものの、とても貴重な体験ができました。もしこれから行かれる方は、とてもあたりまえのことなんですが、落下中もちゃんと呼吸することを意識してみてください。パラシュートの滑空中も素晴らしい景色を楽しめるとおもいます。

The weather was great, and the scenery was beautiful—it was the best. Jumping into the sky was less scary than I expected, and I felt safe with Austin flying tandem with me. I want to do it again.
The videos and photos are expensive, but there are plenty of pictures, and the video editing is fantastic. I didn't request them when I booked the tour, but I asked for them on-site. If it's your first time flying, I definitely recommend getting them.

We had Cousin Elaine and she went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and enjoyed our tour. She taught us a lot about the culture and history of the islands. She made the tour more personal by remembering our names and by calling us her ohana. This was one of the best tours I’ve been on, we got to stop and see a lot of the northern part of the island.

It was one of the things I wanted to do before I die, so I'm really happy to have achieved it. I have no resistance to jumping, so I didn't feel any fear at all. It was just beautiful! Amazing! It felt like shouting "Banzai!" I struggled with equalizing my ears, and they were making funny noises, haha. When I get the photos, I might cry from laughing because I look so bad.

I think everyone should experience this at least once!
