My sister & I enjoyed being on a small tour (ten people plus our guide) as it served as an intimate way of getting to know eachother. Our guide, Lani was wonderful. Lani's secret plan for the best viewing of the Arizona Memorial worked out perfectly. Overall, for the Circle Island tour, Lani had an excellent knowledge of Hawaii and its culture. We loved her stories, her unique laugh & her choice of Hawaiian music.

Our driver was entertaining and very attentive to our needs. He kept the tour on track and shared his knowledge and wit which kept us involved in what we were seeing and doing. He was a teacher as well as a tour guide. For first time visitors to Oahu, this tour is a must see. We did not have to hassle with a rental car and directions to major sights of the area. There were plenty of potty breaks. Try and eat something before the tour begins since you can't eat on the bus. Sit on the right hand side of the tour bus to get the best view of the North Shore beaches. To get the most out of your first trip to Oahu, tours are the way to go.

We have been on other tours around the country and will be the first to tell you it's your guide (driver) that makes it great. This by far was one of our best!!! I think this tour is great for first timers to Hawaii, as you do get to see all the main attractions. Would definately recommend this tour to friends.

My family & I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. My husband is a HUGE history buff, my son - age 15 even enjoyed it, along with my parents (Around 60 yrs. old) and my husband & myself (late 30's) Therefore, you can see that it was interesting for all ages. It was a very spooky feeling standing on the Arizona Memorial, looking down at the sunken ship, seeing the oil still leaking into the water, and reading all of the names of those who perished that awful, fateful day. We also got to meet & take pictures with two of the survivors from that day. They were inside, sitting near the museum signing autographs. One of them was born in Macomb, Illinois, about 50 miles from our hometown of Rockford, so that was very surprising! We had an awesome guided tour aboard the USS Missouri. Took about 90 minutes, we even got to see inside. Saw the bunks where the sailors slept, the control room, radio room, the table where the declaration was signed to end the war, the "mess hall", stood under the g

My husband and I were first timers to the islands and our first activity was the tour. Our guide, Ken, was unique and fun. We took another tour with a different service the next day (Volcano tour) and was disappointed. Ken was thorough in everything. We knew which side of the boat to sit on for the best view at Pearl Harbor, we knew the importance of each stop and his enthusiasm was contagious. We took a ton of pictures and I personally learned more about Hawaii and its history on the tour than from reading the provided pamphlets or from the other tour service we used. We were both very impressed and have told everyone at home that we were "professional travelers" for at least one day of our trip. Please extend our appreciation to Ken and we will be recommending your services to anyone that will listen. We will be touring again when we return on our next visit to the islands. Mahalo!

outstanding tour...tour guide was very knowledgeable, excited, and totaly enthused about the many subjects and topics. He made the tour as if Pearl Harbor had just been attacked and the events occurred on the day we visited. The many details and points of interest that was shared with us by the tour guide was graphic and realistic. The lunch was fantastic...actually one of a few wonderful meals of our entire 8-day stay on Oahu! I spoke with the managers of the Home of the Brave tours and complimented the tour guide on his energetic and positive attitude displayed by him the entire day. Wish we had more time on the tour with Home of the Brave....perhaps include the USS Missouri as a visit with this package. AAP

He was entertaining, educational, patient, and very proud of the job he is doing and the island he calls home. The travel arrangements were flawless. We highly recommend this tour to all who are interested in an in-depth guide to most important sites in Oahu. The price is a bargain in comparison of what you will get out of the tour.

My husband and I really enjoyed touring the USS Arizona Memorial. The documentary we watched before the tour began was very informative and made us more aware of the events that occurred before 07 Dec 1941.
We also enjoyed the Circle Island Tour. We are both in the Army and arrived on island almost one year ago. This tour allowed us to see some of what Oahu has to offer. Our tour guide Roland had an extensive knowledge of the island's history and we were thoroughly impressed! We would recommend this package to anyone who wants to enjoy the sites of the island while in an air-conditioned, comfortable shuttle while someone else is driving!
