Please go and pay your respects! Tour bus picks you up and tells you how everything goes. We got right in when on some days you must wait an 1 or so. There's a short film before you are boated over to the memorial. It's awe inspiring.
Our drive was a cocky know it all rude person. Well, at least he thought he knew it all. He really sounded uneducated and told us things we did not need to hear. He also took about 12 cig breaks.
Overall great price and pretty good service.

The tour was wonderful and well-worth the money. A good overall view. Wonderful companions onboard. Our tour guide, Kanoelani, was very knowledgeable and even stopped at some extra places not on the itinerary. However, at the very last stop before our hotels, she said we had 15 minutes, and when I returned to the parking lot after 12 minutes, the van was pulling away without me!!!! I waved frantically and ran after it, but was not seen. I was stranded, and a woman travelling on my own, with my belongings still onboard. I was quite panicked and didn't know how to get back to town. The van did come back for me after about 10 minutes (she had to find a spot to turn around after another passenger reported me missing), but I was really scared by then. There was no apology from the tour guide, which I did expect, since she left early and did not do a head-count (only 10 on the van). I think the guides should make sure that everyone is there before leaving. It's not a difficult thin

Great to do at the beginning of the Hawaii visit. It allows you to see bits of all of Oahu. If you go at the beginning, you'll be able to return to certain cites if you felt you didn't spend enough time there. I personally would have liked to spend more than 15 minutes at the Dole Plantation. Amazing to see how terrain changes on such a small area of land! Tour guide, Greg, was very amusing!

I would have to say that this tour was great from beginning to end! Pick up was prompt and the guide actually gets out and calls your name so you don't have to worry about not getting on the wrong tour. Our guide who goes by Misty but has the most beautiful Hawaiin name (of course I would massacre it if I tried to spell it) was a fantastic guide. She knew each one of our names within the first 10 minutes and didn't forget the whole day. I have never learned so much or had such a great time on a tour. We saw things that many people don't get to see and we even got to see 2 leatherback turtles and take pictures of them. For lunch we got to eat at Honey's which was very good so that was a nice view to look at while eating. All in all we could not find a fault except for the unexpected weather that made it hard to see the beautiful color of the ocean. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to see the island!!!!

We had a wonderful day. Our tour host was wonderful. His knowledge of the islands and their history was very impressive. His attitude was so wonderful and layed back. We had a few delays because of others in our group and he kept the day pleasant. We would not have seen some of the highlights he showed us had we done a tour on our own. Because this was a smaller bus we were only about 20 people which made the tour more personal. I don't think we would have enjoyed it as much had we gone on one of those huge tour buses.
Thanks to Cowboy for a wonderful day.
Highly recommend this one.

Really enjoyed being part of a small tour group of just seven. Our guide Dennis was very informative and a great resource for all questions even those not related to the tour. A great way to get a glimpse at everything the island has to offer when planning the rest of your stay in Oahu. Make this tour one of the first things you do!

We took the "Home Of The Brave" tour and it is a day that will live in infamy for us. If you are a history buff, you will think you have died and gone to heaven. We spent our time with Brandon (the world's greatest and most informed tour guide) as he took us through the events leading up to and and including the attack on Pearl Harbor and ending at Punchbowl National Cemetery. If you do no other tour when you are on Oahu, this is the one to do. Brandon provided unique insight into the historical events leading up to the attack on Pearl Harbor. Because of his enthusiasm, we have since started to do our own research into the whole history that is available and not just the bits and pieces that we have seen through movies. This is just a bit if the info that we have found.

Everyone who visits Honolulu needs to go Pearl Harbor. We learned so much about that moment in history...how it happened...why we weren't able to stop it. And it was very meaningful to remember the lives of those who were lost and all that they stood for. We had a toddler with us and it was a good experience for all of us.

Going to Pearl Harbor was an amazing experience. It was very touching. Taking a bus tour to Pearl Harbor eliminates the need for driving in traffic through Honolulu as well as dealing with parking. The tour gave us enough time to roam around and also took us on a trip through Honolulu showing some sights. This is one activity that is definitely better suited as a bus tour.

This was an amazing tour! Our guide was a veteran that was able to give us a different perspective to Pearl Harbor. It was not sugar coated or one-sided either. Simply amazing. He informed us prior to stopping at places how much time we would have (and what we would have less time with if we went over) and gave us instructions on how to get the most out of our time (what to do first, what not to miss). The circle island portion was insightful, and we had just about as much time as we could want at most stops (excepting the Dole plantation - kids got caught up at the pearl table). The kids were tired as we had been out late the night before at a luau, but they had enough down time between stops and napped. Not that between stops were dull moments - but for the most part interesting facts, legends, history, and jokes were shared throughout the whole tour - they were just really tired from the late night before! We had thought about renting a car and driving around on our own agenda, but

I took this tour on November 29, 2008, and I must say that it was a day filled with history, culture, and many interesting discoveries. The tour guide was very informative and entertaining to spend time with during the long rides, and thanks to him the trips were never boring. Not only that, he even warned us about some things like the not-so-organized handling of the train tours in Dole Plantation, the over-priced nuts, etc. I'm glad he helped us.
The day was cloudy and somewhat rainy, yet these weather conditions sure gave us an intense-yet-fun moment at the Pali Lookout where the winds blew hard. I never felt winds that strong, even compared to typhoons in the Philippines.
Pearl Harbor is easily the most educational part of the tour. It has great history written all over it and it was quite a nice experience to visit the Arizona Memorial and see the Missouri.
With many interesting stops (although the Dole stop is kinda short), this tour is very much worth the money and tim

New to the Hawaiian islands, I thought, in doing research, that a comprehensive all-day tour of the island of Oahu would be in order. I am so GLAD that we chose this tour and had a wonderful, experienced guide with a great sense of humor. This tour provided the opportunity to touch upon MANY of the incredible sights the island has to offer and inspired us to create our reamining days' itineraries around spots we had briefly visited, photographed, and were inspired to see more of. The tour and the guides knowledge really opened our eyes to the wonders of the island in "real time" vs. just using a guide book purchased prior to the vacation. Strongly recommend for first-time visitors.

This tour is a great introduction to Oahu and Hawaii. It gives a background history and setting to the place where we were holidaying. Our tour leader Tavita was exceptional, very informative and extremely entertaining with his commentary and songs. I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes to know a bit more about the place in which they are staying. The day may be a bit long for families with young children.
Added bonus for us was the USS Ronald Reagan Aircraft Carrier coming into port as we were out on the Arizona. It was immense!!!
