We participated in the Dolphin Royal Swim package with my 8-year-old child who wanted to swim with dolphins. This experience, which includes swimming with dolphins and rays and hugging seals, is something you can't easily do in Japan, and my child says it was the most fun thing in Hawaii. You need to be in deep water, but you wear a life jacket. However, those who can't swim might feel a bit scared. By the way, both my child and I can swim all four strokes, so we might not have felt scared.

Since children need an adult to accompany them, I experienced it alongside my child, so I couldn't take photos and ended up purchasing some, but they turned out to be great close-up shots. I also bought a DVD. You can check the DVD before purchasing, so I recommend going to buy it with some extra time before the meeting time.

日本ではなかなか体験できないイルカやエイと泳いだりアシカをだっこしたりと楽しいプランが満載で子供はハワイで一番楽しかったことだといっています。
足のつかないところにいる必要がありますが、ライフジャケットを着用します。ただ、泳げない方はちょっと恐く思うかも。ちなみに子供も私も４泳法全て泳げるので怖く感じなかったのかもしれません。
子供には付き添いが必要なので、私も一緒に体験したため撮影できず写真を購入しましたが、アップでよい写真でした。ＤＶＤも買ってしまいました。
ＤＶＤは確認のため見せてもらえるので集合時間に余裕を持って買いに行かれるといいと思います。

My husband and our son, who will soon be two years old, participated in the Dolphin Encounter. I joined as an observer to film the event. My son was a bit scared and couldn't kiss the dolphin, but he seemed really happy to touch it. It's not often that we can have such an experience in Japan, so it became a wonderful memory. We also got some beautiful photos with the dolphin, and I'm glad we purchased those. I definitely want to participate again when we go to Hawaii.

I have visited Hawaii several times, but this was my first time at Sea Life Park. The purpose of our visit this time was the "Dolphin Royal Swim"! Since my 8-year-old daughter met the age and height requirements, we decided to participate despite the somewhat high price, wanting her to have an experience interacting with dolphins that she can't have in Japan. Of course, since she couldn't participate alone, Dad joined her as a companion.

We also had our 5-year-old and 2-year-old with us, so we signed up for a tour without transportation and drove our family of five to Sea Life Park in a rental car. Since we were on the first session, it seemed fine for those driving, but it might be tough for those using the trolley for the first session.

In the session that the two of them participated in, there were no other children besides my daughter. The instructor who took care of them seemed to be Japanese, and there were explanations in Japanese, which my daughter seemed to understand. However, since the pool was deep and they only wore life jackets, I was worried about whether she would be okay. They swam in the pool holding onto the dorsal fins of two dolphins and pushed off the dolphins' noses to swim like "Superman." Water splashing in their faces was inevitable, so as long as they could handle that, I think children can enjoy it. However, since my daughter's feet are small, it seemed difficult for the dolphins to push her feet. They asked her if she wanted to try again after a failure, but she didn't want to retry. 私たちは他に5歳と2歳の子も一緒だったので、送迎なしのツアーに申し込み、シーライフパークまでは家族5人でレンタカーで行きました。1番目の回だったので、レンタカーなどで行かれるかたは大丈夫のようですが、トロリーなどを使われる方は1番の回は厳しいかもしれません。
2人が参加した回は娘の他には子供はいませんでした。担当してくれたインストラクターの方は日本人のようで、日本語でも説明があり娘も理解できていたようですが、プールは当然足もつかず、ライフジャケットを着用するだけなので、大丈夫か心配でした。2頭のイルカの背びれにつかまってプールを泳いだり、足の裏をイルカの鼻でプッシュして”スーパーマン”のように泳いだり、顔に水がかかることは必至なので、そのあたりがクリアできていれば、お子様でも楽しめると思います。ただ、足の裏をプッシュしてもらうのは娘の足が小さいので、イルカ自身も難しいようです。失敗してもう一度やる？と聞かれていましたが、娘はリトライはしませんでした。パパの方は、バッチリ♪アクティビティ参加中の写真やＤＶＤの販売もあり、希望者は確認して買うこともできます。あっというまでしたが、娘はイルカに触ったり間近で見たり、と普段できない経験ができてとても興奮していました。今度、下の二人が大きくなったらまたやらせてみたいなと思います。

It was a very precious experience to be able to touch dolphins. There were a total of 8 participants, including the two of us: 4 family members from America, 2 Japanese, and us.

The dolphin trainer was Japanese and provided explanations in both English and Japanese, which made it very enjoyable. However, the return time of 2:30 PM for the first bus from the narrow Sea Life Park might make it difficult to pass the time.

Since we had plans in Waikiki at 1:30 PM, we took The Bus back. The travel time was about 1 hour. If you take either the No. 22 (not in service on Tuesdays) or No. 23 bus, you will definitely arrive in Waikiki. The No. 22 bus is called the Seaside Line and runs along a very beautiful coastal route.

For those who want to make the most of their afternoon, I recommend participating in the first morning session and taking The Bus back.

アメリカから来られたファミリー4名と日本人2名と私ども。

イルカトレーナーは、日本人の方で英語と日本語と両方で説明してくれ、非常に楽しめました。
ただ、帰りの時間が14時30分が第1便と狭いシーライフパークでは時間を潰すのに苦労するかも。

私どもは、午後13時30分よりワイキキでの予定があったため、ザ･バスにて帰って来ました。所用時間は約1時間。
22番(火曜日運休)と23番のどちらかに乗車すれば、間違いなくワイキキに着きます。
22番はシーサイドラインと呼ばれ非常にきれいな海外線を走る模様。

午後の時間を有意義に使いたい方は、午前一番の回に参加し、ザ･バスで帰ってくることをオススメします。

This is a repeat♪ Three years ago, there was a Japanese male staff member (he was very fun and nice, but I wonder where he went...?) who is no longer there (crying). This time, the person in charge did not speak Japanese, which was disappointing.

Also, three years ago, I was able to experience activities in a beautiful pool with an ocean view, but this time it was just a regular pool located inside the park (sad).

However, overall, I was able to interact with dolphins, and it was very enjoyable and satisfying, so if I have the opportunity to go to Hawaii again, I would like to participate.

We participated in the Dolphin Encounter as a family of four. I was initially worried about whether it would be okay for my one-year-old and four-year-old, but once it started, they were thrilled to see the dolphins up close! The instructor spoke English, but it wasn't a problem. A staff member provided explanations in Japanese. While everyone was taking photos, they allowed us to touch the dolphins and kept us engaged with various activities. The water in the pool is a bit cold, so I recommend wearing a rash guard or similar. The area isn't very large, so I think you'll have plenty of time to explore during the tour. It's a unique experience that you can't have in Japan, so I highly recommend it.

I participated with my family. I was the only one participating while the rest of my family watched from the bench. It felt a bit lonely to participate alone, but I ended up in a group with other Japanese people, and the staff provided explanations in broken Japanese. There are also Japanese staff members in the park, so I felt reassured. The time spent interacting with the dolphins is about 30 minutes, but if you love dolphins, I think you'll be satisfied paying this price. Additionally, if you have companions, they can take photos nearby, which is helpful. While the paid photos are certainly well-taken up close, I was also quite satisfied with the regular snapshot photos.

On June 12, I participated in the Royal Swim with my boyfriend. I had always dreamed of touching dolphins after visiting aquariums in Japan and watching dolphin shows. Although it was a bit pricey at $215, I decided to join and made my reservation here. The confirmation email came quickly, which was reassuring.

On the day of the event, the pickup was right on time. There were many foreigners, and the driver spoke English. When we arrived at Sea Life Park, there was someone at the entrance who spoke Japanese and provided explanations. However, the dolphin trainers did not speak Japanese, which was a bit confusing, but as mentioned in other reviews, I managed to follow along by watching the other foreigners.

The activities included cheek rubs, kisses, holding onto the dorsal fin, and having the dolphins push my feet, all done randomly with 10 participants to keep the dolphins engaged. I was the first to go, and I made a little mistake. There were 10 of us in the Royal Swim, and apart from my boyfriend and me, everyone else was American. Since other programs were cheaper, there were about 20 to 30 participants in those sessions at the same time, which made me feel a bit superior.

After the program, some participants from the other programs mentioned, "I wish I had done the Royal Swim." The dolphins were quite large and chubby, which made my boyfriend a bit nervous (laughs). The dolphins were truly intelligent, clever, and obedient; I was so moved during the program that I cried. I highly recommend it. I purchased the DVD for $50, and he bought two photos.

After the program, while waiting to leave, there were shows that were quite different from those at Japanese aquariums. ただし、イルカのトレーナーの方は日本語が話せないので、ちょっと戸惑いましたが、こちらの口コミであるように、他の外国人の方がやるのを、見様見真似でなんとかなりました。？頬づり＆キス、？背びれつかまり、？足をイルカに押してもらう　はイルカが飽きないように、10人ランダムに順不同で行います。？は1番先に私がやったので、ちょっと失敗してしまいました。。
私の時にはロイヤルスイムは１０人での参加で、私と彼氏以外は全員アメリカ人。
やはり他のプログラムは値段が安めなので同時刻の参加者は20～30人ほどだったので、私的には優越感も感じました。
プログラム終了後、他のプログラム参加者は、『ロイヤルにすれば良かったな』と言ってきた人も居ましたよ。
かなり大きな丸々太ったイルカ達だったので、彼氏はちょっとビビッていました(笑)
本当にイルカちゃんは賢くて利口で従順でプログラムの最中感動で泣いちゃいました。本当おすすめです。
私はＤＶＤ＄50で購入。彼は写真を2枚購入しちゃいました。
プログラムが終わって帰りの時間までの間も、日本の水族館とはまた一味違って、ショウなどをやっていたのですが、とても近くで見れて、1番前に座って見ていたらペンギンが足元まで来てくれて、これもまた感動しちゃいました。とても空いているので、席の移動も全然ＯＫ。時間があっという間に過ぎました。
帰りにはドライバーさんが、ハナウマ湾のビューポイントで少し停車してくれて、写真を撮る時間をくれました。（こちらは特にプログラムには書いてないので、ドライバーさんによっては寄らない場合もあるかもしれませんが・・・。
本当に貴重な体験をありがとうございました。
私はハワイ５回目ですが、夢がひとつ叶いました♪

I participated in Dolphin Adventure. It was a great experience as I swam with dolphins for the first time! Since it was a weekday, the park was very quiet, and I was able to enjoy a relaxing day. The dolphin and seal shows were also a lot of fun. The scenery from the park, surrounded by mountains and the sea, was soothing.

We participated in the dolphin encounter as a family!

It was really great!

The bilingual female instructor was very helpful, and there were no inconveniences at all (o^∇^o).

We drove to Sea Life Park with our rental car, and it was a relaxing trip with no traffic, so we enjoyed the drive!

Since we participated with our one-year-old child, I was initially wondering, "Will this be okay?"

But our child seemed to have a lot of fun touching and kissing the dolphinsヾ(*´∀｀*)ﾉ.

I highly recommend it for families too (´∀｀).

I had so much fun touching a dolphin for the first time in my life, and even swimming with one! I also enjoyed the American-style dolphin show, as well as the penguin and sea lion shows, which I could watch freely. It was a day full of enjoyment!

The last time I went to Hawaii, I couldn't participate in this tour, so I was really looking forward to joining this time. After receiving various explanations, we entered the pool, and when the instructor called, two dolphins swam close to us. The dolphins were well-trained and performed tricks right in front of us, spinning around and jumping as instructed. I was also able to touch the dolphins' skin directly. I participated with my 7-year-old daughter Ponyo and my dolphin mom. It was really fun. It's not every day that you get to touch dolphins, right? Anyway, this tour is a must for dolphin lovers. It's totally fine even if you have small children!

I also joined a tour to swim with wild dolphins, and both experiences were great. Of course, you can't touch the wild dolphins...

I chose a tour without pick-up service, but you can get here by bus or trolley. It was nice because we could stop by along the way without any worries.

During this tour, the dolphin family also hiked to Makapu'u Point as a bonus.

I never thought I would get to touch dolphins like this. The staff took beautiful photos, and I was very satisfied. Although I can't swim, I managed to be okay. Holding onto the dolphins and swimming was an amazing experience! You absolutely should participate. I will join again!

We participated as a family of four with our one-and-a-half-year-old twins. There are not many activities available for one-year-olds, so we created wonderful family memories. The kids were also happy to touch the dolphins, which was great. We had a lot of fun!

Since I was scheduled to arrive in Hawaii around 10 AM, I looked for tours available in the afternoon and decided to go to Sea Life Park. Unfortunately, I wasn't sure if I could make it in time for the shuttle bus, so I went there on my own. I checked the schedule for THE BUS routes 22 and 23 (some of which do not go to Sea Life Park) and the trolley's Blue Line online. It's best to allow about an hour for travel.

We took the 22 bus from the bus stop in front of the Waikiki Trade Center. You pay $2 (no change given) when you get on. Then, we headed to the park while enjoying views of Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head.

It felt like a relatively small and old-style marine park. After checking in at the entrance, we went inside and checked in again for the dolphin experience tour at the merchandise area deep in the aquarium. Japanese is not widely understood, and the English spoken has a strong accent that makes it hard to catch everything. After the explanation, we moved with our belongings to the dolphin pool. It was fine not to rent a locker.

Once we reached the dolphin pool, there was about 5-6 minutes of explanation in English, alongside a few broken explanations for Japanese visitors. Then, we put on life jackets and placed our belongings and towels at the poolside before entering the dolphin pool. The dolphin trainers spoke relatively good Japanese, so it was manageable. After that, we just enjoyed ourselves. Since we chose the adventure option, we swam while holding onto the dolphins' fins. They touched us and jumped in response to our signals...

Afterward, we took our belongings to the outdoor shower and changing room. We waited for about 40 minutes for the photos of us kissing the dolphins to be ready for purchase. They were about $13 each. わりと小さくて古いカンジの水旅園ってカンジです。入り口でチェックインしてから中にはいり、水族園奥のグッズ売り場の中でもう一度イルカの体験ツアーのチェックイン。日本語はあまり通じません。英語もクセがあって聞き取りにくいです。説明のあと、イルカのプールまで荷物をもって移動。ロッカー借りなくても大丈夫でした。
　イルカプールについてから、英語の説明５～６分している横で日本人むけにカタコトの説明が５つほど。それからライフジャケットをつけて荷物やタオルをプールサイドにおいてイルカプールへ。イルカの調教師の人たちは比較的日本語使ってくれるので平気です。あとは楽しむだけ。私たちはアドベンチャーだったので仰向けのイルカの手につかまって泳ぎました。タッチしたり私たちの合図にあわせてジャンプしてくれたり・・・。
　終わったあとは荷物もって屋外にあるシャワーと更衣室へ。４０分まってイルカとキスしている写真ができあがり購入。一枚１３ドルくらいです。高いけどやっぱり買っちゃいました！！帰りの夕方のバスは２～３０分ごとでした。

However, there were no explanations in Japanese, and everything was in English, so those who don't understand English might feel anxious. You can manage by mimicking what others do, but... The bus driver on the way there was driving too fast. I was surprised that the bus was different on the way back.

I participated with my 1 year and 6 month old child this time. I made a reservation online and brought a printed copy, which made me a bit anxious thinking, "Is that all?" but there were no problems, and we were able to enter right away.

We rented a car from the hotel and arrived in just under an hour. It was nice that we could stop by nearby shopping centers and places like Costco. However, please note that parking fees are separate at the park.

Departing directly by bus from the meeting point near the Waikiki accommodation, we enjoyed views of Diamond Head, the Kahala area, Hanauma Bay, and Sandy Beach along the way, arriving in about 30 minutes. There were Japanese staff members near the reception and at various points, which was reassuring.

This time, I participated in the Royal Swim. The program involved being pulled by the dorsal fins of two dolphins and a foot push program, which both seemed challenging and made me anxious about whether I could do it. However, when I waited in the posture that was explained to me beforehand, the dolphins smartly and perfectly coordinated their movements to pull and push me with great balance. It felt like the dolphins were playing with me, and I was once again impressed by their intelligence.

This was my fifth time in Hawaii, but it was my first visit to Sea Life Park. I had participated in dolphin watching tours before, but this tour was incredibly satisfying. I was able to see, touch, and even kiss the dolphins up close. At first, I thought, "This is a bit expensive," but considering the experience I had, I felt it was worth it. The staff hardly spoke any Japanese at all. They talked about the precautions when interacting with the dolphins, but I understood very little. Most of the participants were American, and I managed to follow along by mimicking them. One thing I learned was that you should not touch the dolphins' eyes. I was a bit confused at times, but the dolphins were so adorable. It made me feel very happy. Next time I go to Hawaii, I want to have even more experiences at Sea Life Park.

５回目のハワイでしたが初めてシーライフパークに行きました。以前にもイルカを見るツアーなどに参加した事がありましたがこのツアーは大満足でした。まじかにイルカを見れ、触れ、キスまで・・・。最初は”少し高いなー”と思っていましたがこれだけの体験をできるなら安いと思いました。飼育係りの方は全くと言うくらい日本語はできません。イルカと接する注意点などを話していましたがほとんど解りませんでした。参加者もほとんどアメリカ系の人でその人達の見よう見真似で何とかなりました。一つ解った事はイルカの目に触れてはいけないという事くらいでした。色々戸惑いましたがやはりイルカはとっても可愛かったです。とても幸せな気分になりました。今度ハワイに行ったらシーライフパークでもっと色々な体験をしてみたいです。

I participated in a course without transportation, but it was no problem since I just had to show my voucher. I participated in the Royal Swim with seven friends. It seems that groups are divided based on the type of activity, even if it's the same time, and we were in a group with one girl.
