It was a valuable experience to touch and kiss the dolphins, and I had a lot of fun. However, I was under the impression that we would be able to swim with the dolphins, so I was disappointed that we couldn't do that.

It was the most expensive activity I've experienced so far, but I thought that swimming while holding onto a dolphin might be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, so I decided to book it for my family of four. At first, seeing the dolphins up close was a bit scary, but as we touched and kissed them, the kids seemed to get used to it. The staff provided advice based on how the guests were feeling, and I thought they were very attentive. What surprised me was not only the staff's consideration but also the dolphins' awareness of us. The dolphins swam close to us, and without anyone giving commands, they paused for a moment to accommodate small children and those who were hesitant, making it easier for them to hold onto their fins. They pulled us along strongly while we sat on their bellies, and I even thought how nice it would be if they could take us back to Japan. The kids were scared at first, but they said they wanted to do it again. The DVD service was also included, so I’m really glad we booked through Alan1. We also got to feed turtles and sea lions, which made for wonderful memories. I want to visit Sea Life Park again.

今まで体験したアクティビティの中では最高額でしたが、イルカにつかまって泳ぐなんて、一生のうちにこれっきりかもと思い、思い切って家族４人で申し込みました。間近で見るイルカは最初、少し怖く感じましたが、イルカに触れたり、キスをしたりするうちに、子ども達も慣れてきた様子でした。スタッフの方は客の様子に合わせてアドバイスをしてくれて、とても気が効いていると思いました。驚いたのは、スタッフの方の気遣いだけでなく、イルカも私達に気を遣ってくれたことでした。イルカが近くまで泳いできてくれるのですが、誰も指示を出していないのに、小さい子や戸惑っている人など、相手の様子に合わせて、一瞬だけ、停止したりして、ヒレにつかまりやすいように配慮してくれていました。お腹に乗せてグイグイと力強くひっぱってくれて、このまま日本まで連れて帰ってくれないかなと思ったくらい、頼もしかったです。子ども達は最初は怖がっていましたが、またやりたいと行っていました。DVDのサービスも付いていたので、alan1さんで申し込んで本当によかったです。他にもカメやアシカに餌をあげたりできて、とても良い思い出になりました。またシーライフパークに行きたいです。

I participated with my 1.5-year-old child. My child enjoyed it very much without being afraid of the dolphins, and even after returning to Japan, they are delighted to hold and look at the photos taken with the dolphins. There aren't many opportunities to get so close to dolphins elsewhere, so it was a very good experience.

There are not many activities available for families with small children, so I highly recommend it.

The Sea Life Park itself might feel a bit lacking for adults, but the children were thrilled to see various sea creatures up close.

We participated as a group of seven: my parents, my brother and his wife with their 2-year-old son, my sister, and myself.
- My brother and his wife, along with their son, participated in the Encounter program.
- My parents (in their 60s) observed the Encounter.
- My sister and I joined the Adventure program.

I was worried about whether everyone would be able to travel together, but since we booked programs at similar times, we were able to take the same bus for both the outbound and return trips, allowing us to enjoy the park together.

The dolphins were incredibly cute, and I was so moved! My 2-year-old nephew cried the whole time, though (laughs).

The shows and feeding experiences were fulfilling, and we had plenty of fun even outside of the scheduled programs.

By the way, there was also a foreigner participating in the Adventure program alone. I think it's a wonderful park that anyone can enjoy! ★

ショーや餌やりも充実していて、プログラム以外の時間も十分楽しめました。

そういえば、アドベンチャーには１人で参加している、外国人の方もいらっしゃいましたよ。
誰でも楽しめる素敵なパークだと思います★

The highlight of my trip was definitely kissing the dolphins—it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Also surprisingly fun was getting splashed during the dolphin show when the dolphins jumped. While you can experience this at aquariums in Japan now, being splashed from several meters above is a whole different level of excitement!

And the photo is of the dolphin stroller... this is also super popular with the kids (make sure to leave an ID when you borrow it, and don't forget to get it back when you return it!).

I participated in the encounter with my 6-year-old child. Since it was January, I was concerned about the water temperature and chose the 11 AM session, but even then, the water felt a bit cold.

At first, the dolphins were not in a good mood, and every time a few people in the group kissed or shook hands, there were breaks and dolphin changes. However, despite the time running over, everyone was able to kiss and shake hands properly.

There was a 2-year-old child in the same group who was scared and cried the whole time. The dolphin's sounds and splashes seemed to frighten him, and the staff worked hard to calm him down, but unfortunately, he ended up crying until the end and couldn't touch the dolphin. I think it would be better for very timid children to be informed beforehand that dolphins are not scary before participating.

Sea Life Park is a very beautiful aquarium, and all the signs are written in Japanese, so it's a comfortable place for families with children to enjoy. Additionally, you can enjoy various wonderful views on the round-trip tour bus that you can't see in Waikiki.

休憩が入ったりイルカの交代があったりしましたが、
時間が押してもきちんと全員キスをしたり握手をしたりできました。

同じグループの中に怖くてずっと泣いている2歳くらいのお子さんがいましたが、
イルカは鳴き声やバタ足が怖いそうで、スタッフの方が一生懸命泣きやまそうとしていましたが、
残念ながら結局最後まで泣きやまず、触る事ができなかったようです。
あまり怖がりのお子様には、事前にイルカが怖くないことを説明してあげてから参加した方が良いと思います。

シーライフパークはとても綺麗な水族館で、標識もすべて日本語で書いてあるので、子供連れには安心して楽しめます。
また往復のツアーバスの中で、ワイキキでは見られないような素敵な景色もいろいろと楽しめます。

It was such an emotional experience to see dolphins up close like that. We just had to stand, so it was fine for both adults and children, even those who can't swim. This was my second time participating. I joined with my family of four. I think the experience was more attentive than last time, and we had more time to interact with the dolphins. The dolphin touch and the interactions guided by the instructor were really great. For those considering visiting the Honolulu Aquarium, you can have plenty of fun here, so I recommend participating in this. Next time, I would like to sign up for the above activity.

It's a bit pricey, but I had a wonderful experience touching, kissing, and swimming with dolphins. We traveled from the hotel to Sea Life Park by a large bus. The customers were about half Japanese and half from other countries, and the guide spoke mostly in English. Since there wasn't much important information shared on the bus, I think it's fine even if you don't speak English. At the site, there was someone who could speak Japanese to explain things during our visit. It wasn't too difficult and was a lot of fun. By the way, there's a church right at the entrance of Sea Life Park where Yuko Rin had her wedding!

I participated in the Dolphin Encounter and Ray Encounter.

The Dolphin Encounter was conducted in groups divided by language (Japanese/English). Everyone enters the pool wearing life jackets. The children initially clung to their parents since they couldn't touch the bottom, but soon they were floating on their own. The instructor was cheerful and provided explanations, making it a lot of fun.

The Ray Encounter is more about feeding fish (lettuce) while snorkeling rather than touching the rays. When the rays whimsically come to the shallow area, we move there to touch them, which can be a bit hectic. They provided staff who could speak Japanese, so the children were able to understand the explanations. However, since you have to stay still to feed the fish, it might be challenging for small children.

Both activities required signing a consent form. For children, their names are written in the section under the adult's consent form. Depending on the bus arrival time, especially for the first morning session, it can get a bit hectic, so I think it's better to fill out the forms on the shuttle bus. どちらも同意書にサインが必要でした。子供の分は、大人の同意書の下の欄に、子供の名前を書きます。バスの到着時間にもよると思いますが、特に朝一番の回はバタバタするので、送迎のバスの中で書いてしまうほうがいいかと思いました。実際、私たちのバスは、６名のグループがピックアップの時間になってもいらっしゃらず２０分ぐらい待ち、更にアロハフェスティバルの関係で交通規制もかかっており、ドルフィンエンカウンターのチェックイン時間には、まだ到着していませんでした。スタートには間に合いましたけど、到着後トイレにも行きたいし、貴重品はロッカーに入れたいしで、バタバタでした。
貴重品をいれるロッカーは＄２です。バスタオル・着替えは、プールわきのベンチまで持っていけます。シャワーおよび簡易更衣室近辺は、蚊が多いので注意が必要です。

パーク全体は思っていた以上にこじんまりとしており、いくつかショーもあるのですが、これも思っていた以上にこじんまり。海亀にえさをあげたり出来るのは珍しいですが、ギフトショップでエサを買ってきて、時間になったらあげていいようです。海亀の周りに説明員がいるわけでもありませんん。

My daughter expressed a desire to interact with dolphins, and since it was a rare opportunity, we both signed up for it. My parents accompanied us as spectators.

In the morning, we almost missed the bus because we got the pickup location wrong.

As soon as we got off the bus, we changed into our swimsuits and headed to the pool where the dolphins were waiting. After listening to the guide's explanation, we entered the pool.

The dolphins came very close, and we were able to touch their backs and bellies. Each of us had the precious experience of kissing and shaking hands with the dolphins.

After it was over, we changed and freely explored the park. I bought a photo that was displayed in the gift shop; it turned out really well.

Day 3 on Oahu

I finally got to experience swimming with dolphins. In Japan, while you can touch them, you can't swim with them, so this was a precious experience.

My husband is a big dolphin lover☆
Although he's not very good at swimming, the instructors at Sea Life Park explained everything carefully, and we had a great time.

でも、あんまり泳ぎが得意ではないけど、シーライフパークではインストラクターの方々が丁寧に説明してくれて、とても楽しめました。

ショーの最中の体験だったので、別のプールで行われたけど、逆にゆっくりといろんな体験をさせてもらいました。

ダンナ様も大喜び♪

I experienced it for the first time. At first, I was really worried about whether I could swim with the dolphins, but no one made any mistakes, and everyone was able to swim together! However, the explanation before starting was only in English, so it was a bit difficult to understand. Also, I felt that the distance we could swim with the dolphins was a bit short. It might be because they are animals, even though they are domesticated, and there could be risks involved... I thought it would have been better if we could swim a little longer.

Lastly, you can purchase photos and DVDs of your experience swimming with the dolphins, so it was a very good experience as a memory. I would like to participate again if I have the opportunity.

初めて体験しました。
最初は本当にイルカと一緒に泳げるのか不安でしたが、誰ひとり失敗はなく、みんな一緒に泳げていました！
ただ、開始前の説明が英語のみだったので、少し分かりにくかったです。
あとは、イルカと一緒に泳げる距離が少し短く感じました。飼育されているとはいえ、動物なので危険を伴うためかもしれませんが...。
もう少し長い距離を泳げたらより良かったなぁと思いました。

最後に一緒に泳いでいる写真やDVDを購入できるので思い出としてはとても良い体験でした。
機会があったらまた参加したいと思います。

I have visited Sea Life Park many times, but it was my first time interacting with dolphins. It was so much fun!! Getting a foot push from a dolphin is a memory I will cherish for a lifetime. If you go, definitely give it a try. I highly recommend it.
