I participated in the tour for the first time in three years. Our guide, Alan, said, "I remember you!"

The weather looked suspicious at the start, but thanks to Alan, the "sunny guy," it cleared up by the time we arrived at Hanauma, and we were able to enjoy snorkeling in the beautiful sea as a family!

I participated with my 7-year-old son. There were two other families with us, but our guide, Yuto, was very considerate of my son, who was trying snorkeling for the first time, and he stayed with us the whole time, guiding us slowly through the water. Thanks to him adjusting to my son's pace, my child felt very safe and had a great time.

It seems that our guide, Allen, and the others who were swimming ahead didn't encounter anything, but Yuto found a sea turtle and showed it to us, which got my son really excited. I believe this Hanauma Bay snorkeling tour will be a lifelong memory for my son.

I had never tried snorkeling before. If I had been doing it alone, I definitely wouldn't have gone far, and I don't think I would have found any fish or turtles. On the morning of January 6th, we were guided by Alan. It was just our family of four (my husband, our 7-year-old and 9-year-old boys). Since it was our first experience with snorkeling, we had some anxiety, but Alan kindly taught us how to put on the snorkel and wear the fins in Japanese, so we felt comfortable.

When we signed up, we were a bit worried about the rental equipment, but it was easy to borrow without any resistance.

With Alan leading us to a less crowded area, we were thrilled to see so many fish right after entering the water! As we swam further, we encountered colorful fish, and it felt like we were directly experiencing the images we usually see on TV. We even got to meet the sea turtles that the kids had been looking forward to! I believe that without Alan's guidance, we wouldn't have had such a fulfilling experience at Hanauma Bay.

My younger son wasn't very comfortable in the water, so he couldn't swim, but thanks to Alan carrying him, he was able to see the sea turtles. Honestly, I felt scared when we went to a deeper area where I couldn't touch the bottom, but having Alan nearby gave me a sense of security, allowing me to enjoy snorkeling.

まずシュノーケルのやり方を簡単に説明、浅瀬で練習し海に入ります。

ウミガメも3匹、うつぼにも出会え、

Last year, I admired the view and beauty of Hanauma Bay from a distance, and I decided to take a snorkeling course at a sports club with the hope of trying it next year. Thanks to that, I was able to fully enjoy Hanauma Bay. It was simply wonderful. I want to go again next year.

My husband and I snorkeled for the first time in our lives at Hanuma Bay. We were picked up by Allyen as per the schedule at sharp 7:30 AM from our hotel. We reached Hanuma Bay well in time and were joined by a kind Japanese lady Fumio who works with Allyen. My husband and I cannot swim and hadn't ever ventured in sea. Everyone in our group knew swimming and they snorkeled with Allyen. We stayed back with Fumio who first taught us to keep our bodies floating. She then held our hands and took us through the reefs. We saw eels and schools of fish. For us snorkeing was one of the most wonderful experiences of our lives and highlight of our Hawaii trip. We are thankful to Fumio for putting in so much effort helping us stay afloat and navigating us through water. We would recommend this trip to everyone! Thanks ton Fumio.

I participated with my mother, who is in her 50s and had no experience with snorkeling. At first, she struggled to breathe properly, but thanks to the careful and easy-to-understand guidance from our guide, Alan, and his appropriate support, she was able to do it well by the end. He also took us to points where we could see a lot of fish, so even in a short time, we had plenty of fun. Personally, I really enjoyed that Alan played music that matched the scenery and situation during our drive.

It was our first snorkeling experience, including our small children, and we had a great time thanks to the kind instruction we received. When my child got scared along the way, Yuta was gentle and helped them feel at ease, even joining in on some sand play, which made it a safe and enjoyable experience. Thank you very much.

Due to the number of participants and their skill levels, we were split into two groups, and it seems the other group got to see a turtle. Next time, I would like to practice a bit before joining this tour again, so I hope to see you then as well.

小さい子供も含めての初めてのシュノーケリングでしたが、親切に教えていただき楽しめました。
途中で子供が怖がったときも、ユウタ？さんにやさしく教えていただいたり、砂遊びにも付き合ってもらい、安心して遊べました。ありがとうございました。

I participated with two colleagues from work. Since it was everyone's first time snorkeling, we chose this tour. The guides were very kind and taught us properly, so we felt confident handling the equipment and were able to enter the sea without any worries.

It was quite a day with high waves, and we were tossed around quite a bit. I struggled to keep up with everyone due to my lack of stamina, and one of my colleagues had a hard time getting used to the snorkel. Due to various factors, two of us came back early, but even for a short time, we were able to see a lot of fish and even met a cute sea turtle. (One of my colleagues seemed to swim together with it the whole time... was he flirting?)

They had prepared water and snacks, so we could relax and enjoy the scenery. (Hanauma Bay is enjoyable just for the views alone!)

I think this is a recommended tour for those who want to go but feel anxious about snorkeling for the first time.

皆、初めてのシュノーケリングでしたのでこちらのツアーを選びました。
ガイドさん達はとても親切で初心者の私たちにもきちんと教えてくださり
機材の取り扱いにも不安が無く海に入ることが出来ました。

結構波の高い日で波に翻弄されっぱなしだったこと
体力が無く皆について行くのが難しくなったこと
後輩がなかなかシュノーケルに慣れることができなかったこと
いろいろな要因が重なり、2人は早めに上がったのですが
ちょっとの間でもたくさん魚を見ることが出来ましたし
ウミガメのおんなの子にも会えましたよ。かわいかった。
（後輩の一人はずーっと一緒に泳いだ様です…ナンパ？）

ちゃんとお水やおやつも準備してあったため
ゆっくりと景色を眺めてぼーっとすることが出来ました。
（ハナウマは景色だけでも十分楽しめます＾＾）

行きたいけどシュノーケリング自体が初めてで不安だと思われる方には
おすすめのツアーだと思います。

I had the greatest time on this tour. Our tour guide, Allen, was very helpful and courteous (and patient!) I saw more than I expected as far as underwater critters, even a sea turtle, and it ranks up there with my best memories of Hawaiian experiences.

Snorkeling was my first experience, and I was filled with anxiety since I hadn't exercised in a while. However, Alan taught us carefully from the beginning, and I was able to enjoy it without any pressure. The day before participating in this activity, my son got injured, so we reluctantly gave up on snorkeling and played at the water's edge instead. My two daughters, who were not injured, could swim, so they spoke to Allen and Yuto about the situation, and they kindly took them snorkeling. It seems my daughters had a lot of fun seeing many fish. However, the water was cold, and perhaps because they were away from me, they came back after a while. Next time, I hope everyone can participate in good health and see lots of fish.
