We participated as a family, including my 10-year-old son. Everyone has experience with snorkeling abroad. The guide is not Japanese, but speaks Japanese very well. After the one-hour guided snorkeling session, we headed back immediately. There is no time for free swimming. I think we could have enjoyed it more if there had been an additional hour for free time. Also, since we spent the entire hour searching for sea turtles without a break, we couldn't fully enjoy the underwater scenery. I believe this is primarily a beginner-friendly tour.

１時間のガイド同行シュノーケルが終わるとすぐに帰ります。フリーで泳ぐことはできません。あと１時間でもフリーの時間があればもっと楽しめたと思います。
又１時間の間休むことなくひたすらウミガメを探して泳ぐので海中をじっくり楽しむ事ができません。
あくまで初心者向けのツアーだと思います。

I had experience snorkeling in Saipan and Guam, but since it had been a while, I was glad to take a beginner's lesson at the start.
There were many fish, and I was able to see turtles up close, which was very enjoyable.

True to their word, they took us to spots we wouldn't have gone to on our own. I can't compare it to others, but I saw a lot of beautiful fish and was happy to encounter a large turtle.

I signed up for a snorkeling tour with a Japanese guide for my beginner wife. I was a bit disappointed that the visibility wasn't as good as I had seen in the videos beforehand. There weren't as many fish as I expected, but I was really happy to see a sea turtle at the very end. Without an experienced guide, we probably wouldn't have encountered the turtle, so I think it was worth the cost. It seemed like a sufficient activity for my wife, who isn't very confident in her physical abilities.

It was my first time snorkeling, but I felt safe wearing a life jacket, so I thought it would be fine even if I couldn't swim. They taught me how to use the snorkel from scratch, and even though I can't swim, it was easy to do. I was moved by the incredibly beautiful sea. The guide was kind, and not only the Japanese guides but also the foreign guides could speak Japanese and taught us various things. It was rare for this type of tour to have a mix of Japanese and foreigners; out of about ten people, my family was the only Japanese. An American woman (I think) who was participating alone casually spoke to me, and it was fun to enjoy the foreign atmosphere.
The lack of free time was a bit disappointing, so I give it four stars instead of five.

非常にきれいな海で感動しました。ガイドさんも親切で、日本人ガイドだけでは無く、外人のガイドさんも日本語が出来ますし、いろいろと教えてくれました。この手のツアーでは珍しく、日本人と外人の混合で、10数人中、日本人はウチの家族だけでした。一人で参加しているアメリカ人（だと思うのですが）のおばさんが気さくに声をかけてくれて、外国気分も堪能できて楽しかったです。

My only criticism is that the time spent snorkeling in the water was somewhat limited in comparison with the total time scheduled for the tour. While our instructor/guide was very good, he moved us through the two areas snorkeled in the bay very quickly. I wanted to take some pictures, but found the time to do so was very limited as the group had to move through each area at a pace that limited the time for individual viewing of fish and coral. As a result, I was only able to get very few pictures, and, to have time to enjoy a direct view of the fish without looking through the camera screen!
More time in the water and a slower pace would be desirable.

Hanauma Bay can be visited individually, but I heard that depending on the time of day, you might not be able to fit on the bus and have to wait for the next one, so I chose this tour. In the end, it was the right decision to go with the tour! Entry and the trolley bus were smooth. The guide was fluent in Japanese and was a fun person. It was great not having to bring any equipment!

This time, it was a family trip with my parents in their 50s and my younger sister in her 20s, along with me in my 30s.

At first, I hesitated to pay this much for snorkeling, but the result was absolutely right!!! Allyn, who is well-regarded here, was very kind and charming☆

I really understood how to snorkel properly, and it was fun to swim with various fish and sea turtles!!

If we had just gone by ourselves, we probably wouldn't have enjoyed it this much, just swimming around the beach...

...My mother, who is nearly 60 and not a good swimmer, tried it but ended up saying "I'm scared of the water" during practice and relaxed on the beach instead. However! With Allyn's gentlemanly support and the beautiful sea in front of her, she seemed to have enjoyed herself thoroughly, and in the end, she took a commemorative photo with Allyn, haha.

I participated with my mother. My mother, who is over 60, was nervous about her first snorkeling experience, but the instructor swam with us and explained about the fish, which made it very enjoyable for her. Revisiting Hanauma Bay ハナウマ湾をあらためて見直し

I've been to Hanauma several times, but this was my first time with a guided tour. The guide knew all the hidden spots well, and we got to see sea turtles, Napoleon fish, octopuses, and plenty of other tropical fish.

When you go on your own, you have to wait to enter, which can be tough! This tour was definitely worth it.

Thank you to the CA family who joined the tour with us!

I participated in a morning option to enjoy shopping, sightseeing, and the beach during a family trip.

The pickup was early in the morning, but they arrived on time, which made me very satisfied.

I wish I had a bit more time to swim at Hanauma.

It was a fantastic time, especially since I got to see turtles.

My belongings were placed in a designated box, which was locked and secured around a large tree, so I felt safe.

We participated as a family of four across three generations, and it was the children's first time snorkeling, so they were a bit anxious about whether they would do well. With two guides for a small group of participants, even my 8-year-old quickly became captivated by snorkeling. It seemed the guides were well-acquainted with the areas where sea turtles could be found, and we were able to encounter them without any difficulty. The fun time flew by, and the kids said they wished they could have swum and played for another hour! I'm glad my mother enjoyed it too.

３世代４人で参加しましたが、シュノーケリングは初めてで上手くできるか子供たちが少し不安でした。少人数の参加者にガイドが２人付いてくれるので８歳の子もあっという間にシュノーケリングの虜になっていました。ウミガメのいる所も熟知していらっしゃるようで無理なく出会うことが出来ました。あっという間の楽しい時間でもう後１時間くらい泳いだり遊んだりしたかった！！と子供達は言っていました。母にも楽しんでもらえてよかったです。

Safe coral reef beach 安心なサンゴ礁ビーチ

It was a beach with shallow waters and few waves, surrounded by coral reefs. The Japanese staff who guided us in snorkeling were very helpful, especially in assisting my wife, who was not familiar with snorkeling. They showed us various fish up close, which was a great help. However, it seems that Hawaii has unexpectedly strong winds this year, and when we were in the shade, it felt quite chilly, so bringing a light jacket would be best.

遠浅で波の少ないサンゴ礁のビーチでした。
シュノーケリングを指導して下さった日本人スタッフの
方にはシュノーケリングに慣れていない家内を丁寧に
誘導して頂き、色々な魚をまじかに見せて頂き、大変
助かりました。
ただ、意外と今年のハワイは風が強いようで、日陰に
なった際は結構、肌寒さを感じましたので薄いジャケット
持参がベストですね。
