We went on a 5-night, 7-day trip to Hawaii for our honeymoon, and the day we used the service was the third day of our entire itinerary. I had previously done snorkeling in Okinawa and its islands, so I was really looking forward to it.

However, due to the extremely low tide during a big tide, the population density was very high, there were few entry points, and the variety of marine life we could see was somewhat limited, so I apologize for my somewhat harsh evaluation, but I will say I was "satisfied."

That said, the hospitality of the two staff members was wonderful, and I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to enjoy marine leisure with family or friends. When we visited, we were paired with a couple from America and a Japanese family (three generations), and everyone seemed to be having a great time.

Next time, I would like to visit when the tide conditions are better! Thank you very much for your service!

ハネムーンで５泊７日でハワイ旅行に行き、利用させて頂いた当日は全行程の3日目でした。
以前に沖縄本島や離島でシュノーケリングをしたことがあり、非常に楽しみにしていました。
当日は大潮？のド干潮で人口密度が非常に高かったこと、エントリー出来るところが少なかったこと、見れた生き物の種類がやや少なかったため評価が辛めで申し訳ないですが『満足』とさせて頂きました。
ただ、スタッフお二方のホスピタリティは素晴らしく、家族や友達とマリンレジャーを楽しみたい方には是非おすすめしたいです。お邪魔した際はアメリカから来たご夫妻と日本人のご家族（３世代）と組合せでしたが、皆さんとても楽しそうでした
次回は潮まわりが良いときに伺ってみたいです！

I am not a very good swimmer and had an awesome time even in the deep areas of the ocean. Swimming/Snorkeling with the fishes was an amazing experience and would love to do it again!

Awesome First Time Experience

This was my first time snorkeling, as well as, my first time in Hawaii. I'm usually not the type to enjoy activities with a high volume of people around, especially with the location being a huge tourist attraction, but the experience was so cool! My reservation was on a Monday morning. Total there were 12 people in the group, including the two very friendly and helpful instructors.
Everyone is provided with a life vest, fins, bottled water, chips and the option to rent a wet suit once you arrive at Hanauma Bay. When you arrive you will watch a brief video then a trolley will take you down to the bay. Once you're in the water, the view gets much better. I didn't have the chance to see a sea turtle while I was there but there's tons of fish! I would definitely do this again. I also never learned how to swim prior to booking this......but everything went perfectly fine :)

Hanauma Bay is where you want to begin your snorkeling experience in Oahu. Chieko and her husband were thorough, patient, kind and professional in all aspects of this snorkel tour at Hanauma Bay. The coral has lost some its color vibrancy from the daily influx of people swimming there but the fish were plentiful and made up for the moderate deficiency. I enjoyed it enough here to come again a second time, solo. Again, great tour guides and best place to begin your snorkel adventure. Enjoy!

There were two groups participating, including a Filipino family who came from the mainland United States. I brought my mother along, but all the participants were quite good swimmers, so the guide, sensing this, took us out further than expected. Thanks to that, we were able to see turtles and a variety of colorful, rare fish, which made us very satisfied. I recommend the morning tour as the sea is clearer then.

Since it was a half-day course, I thought it might be a bit lacking, but I was fortunate to have kind lectures and even meet a sea turtle "Little Buddy," making it a very satisfying and exciting tour. The interactions with Mr. Dan during the transportation were enjoyable, and my nice partnership with Chieko-san also made me feel happy. Mahalo!!!

My daughter and a friend decided to stay in Oahu over spring break instead of coming home. They had planned bus trips for Hanauma Bay as well as North Shore during the week. After having a horrible time with the bus schedules and waiting to get to their destinations, I decided to get them tickets for the shuttle. So glad I did! They had a really good time, hassle free of buses and hotel pick up and drop off was perfect for them. The trip to the bay made their spring break! So glad I found this site, and we will use them again when we visit her over Thanksgiving this year!

I had a female Japanese guide who took care of us from the pick-up to the drop-off. She was very kind and taught us a lot! The waves were high, so we couldn't go out to the open sea that day, but on the way there and back, she shared various sightseeing spots with us, making it a fulfilling experience!

Although we couldn't go out to sea, the fish were beautiful, and the beach was not crowded, which made it very enjoyable.

I rented a wetsuit. I was worried about the size, but since the guide was there to help us change on the beach, I was able to change while chatting and getting assistance. It was very reassuring to have a dedicated guide, especially for beginners or small groups.

波が高くて、この日は沖のほうまでは行けませんでしたが、向かう途中や帰りいろいろ観光名所を教えてもらいながら、充実した内容になってました！
沖には行けませんでしたが、魚が綺麗で砂浜も人も少なくとても楽しかったです。

ウエットスーツをレンタルしました。
サイズ等が心配だったのですが、浜でガイドさんも一緒に着替えられるので、話をしながら手伝ってもらいながら着替える事ができました。
初心者の方や、少人数グループで専任ガイドさんやしとても安心して参加できました。

We were both completely unable to swim, which made us anxious, but we were able to borrow life jackets and fins, and received detailed safety instructions, which made us feel secure. The guide was very knowledgeable about the sea and took us to places that other tours or individuals wouldn't go, where we were able to see sea turtles, schools of fish, and large octopuses, which was truly impressive. This is definitely a tour you should participate in.

This trip to Hawaii was a three-generation adventure. The kids (ages 6 and 7) and my parents (both over 60) experienced snorkeling for the first time. Initially, I planned to go out to the reef alone, but after hearing Chieko's encouragement, we all decided to give it a try! In the end, only my sister, my nephew, and I made it out to the reef, but Chieko's heartfelt desire to show us something special really came through (tears). The group that went out to the reef was with Dan. Dan was incredibly kind and held my nephew's hand the whole way. Fortunately, we were able to see two large turtles. The only disappointing part was that my GoPro froze halfway through, so I couldn't capture the moments (tears). I really wanted to film us swimming together!!! I'll save that for next time. Thank you, Chieko and Dan, for all your help this time. I definitely want to ask for your assistance again. Thank you very much.

Wonderful Experience for the Whole Family

Do not be afraid of this activity. First, the tour directors could not have been more friendly and helpful. Second, they could not have made it any easier. They picked us up at the lobby of the hotel, drove us to the bay, got us through the required orientation film and down to the water so efficiently. They have been doing this so long that they anticipated all of our needs (even before we realized that we had the need). Then, guided us into the water and instructed everyone on how to use the shorkle and made us all feel very comfortable. Even the 8 year old twins who are normally a handful. We were slowly guided around the bay and shown fish, eels and turtles. We stopped for pictures occasionally. And, told that we could download them from Facebook later that night.
When we were done, they gave us much needed water and snacks. Much needed because this was a good work out ( for a fat old guy). We got back to the van and were taken right back to our hotel and were the. Already trying to figure out when we could do the excursion again.
So, you don't have to worry about whether or not this is worth doing. And, it couldn't be easier or more enjoyable..

We participated with our family at the end of March. We didn't have to wait in line, and we were taught the basics of snorkeling, which made the kids happy. Since our family gets cold easily, it was a good decision to rent wetsuits during this time (not many people were wearing them, though). Thank you to our guide, Chieko, for being very kind and attentive.

The instructor, one of the owners, was very patient and explained every step of what we'd be doing. I was in a small group of three, and the instructor held onto my arm for most of the hour until I felt I was okay by myself. The bay is calm with so many ornamental fish and gorgeous reefs. This was, hands-down, one of the best experiences I had in Hawaii.

My mother, who is in her 60s and hasn't swum in the ocean for 20 years, joined us. I offered to just go to the easier spots and watch, but the guide held her hand the whole time, which made her very happy and allowed her to feel safe even in deeper areas where she couldn't touch the bottom. It seems we happened to go during low tide, so we didn't see any turtles, but the guide explained about Hawaii's native species, making it a wonderful memory for our family trip.

I visited Hanauma Bay once in the summer with my sister, but this time my mother joined us for winter at Hanauma Bay! Unlike in summer, the waves were calm!

That morning, the weather was bad, but just as the guide said, it gradually cleared up, making for the best snorkeling experience! They had brought wet suits (for a fee), and based on the guide's recommendation, we decided to rent them! It was really cold, so renting was definitely the right choice! I'm glad we did!

Unfortunately, we didn't see any sea turtles, but since we were the only ones on the morning tour, they took us quite far out! I was exhausted, but it was very beautiful and fun! Having a guide was reassuring, and I highly recommend it! I want to participate again!

I went to Hawaii for my daughter's wedding. Since we had about half a day, my sister really wanted to experience the ocean in Hawaii, so the three of us—my experienced sister, my beginner husband, and I—participated. My husband, who is a beginner and turning 60, gave up after just a little while in the water... I was able to enjoy myself while holding onto the guide's hand tightly. We participated as a family of four, but everyone except me (the mother) was skilled at snorkeling and swimming, so they had no problems enjoying it. However, I was filled with anxiety because I was scared of the water and the waves. The sea water during this season was cold, which only added to my anxiety. Since I don't usually exercise, I ended up having a small panic attack from that mental state, with cramps and water getting into my snorkel. (laughs)

But Fumio, our Japanese female guide, noticed my situation and held my hand while swimming, which helped me calm down and enjoy swimming as if I had never panicked at all. I think I would have given up halfway if it weren't for her.

I'm really glad I made a reservation this time.

Our guide was fantastic. I'm an okay swimmer but I freaked out and couldn't get used to breathing through the snorkel gear. The guide and his wife help me a lot. I finally got the hang of it and snorkeled like a pro! Also I forgot my go pro and luckily the guide took pics and uploaded them on Facebook. Definitely coming back in the summer time!
