I went on a 3-night, 5-day company trip. Since the schedule was tight, we were able to efficiently visit Hanauma Bay. We left in the morning and returned to the hotel by noon. It was fun to see many fish and sea turtles. It became a very good memory. Next time, I definitely want to participate privately as well!

Dan was amazing from introduction to the activities end. He really took the time not only to teach us properly, yet he was friendly and personable. This was my wife's and my first time diving and it was experience to a new world. My wife was a bit scared at the start, but once in the water she started to love the dive. I attribute this due to Dan's expert teachings and calm manner. When I'm in Oahu again, I'd love to dive with Dan again. Would and will recommend him to everyone and anyone. After this dive, my wife and I are interested in getting our divers licenses.

It was an incredibly beautiful sea, and it was a very precious experience. Both Chieko and Dan provided very careful guidance, so my daughter and wife, who can't swim, enjoyed snorkeling without any anxiety! I signed up after reading the reviews, so it was disappointing that we didn't see any sea turtles. I brought an underwater camera, and when I looked at the photos later, I was surprised to see so many different kinds of fish! I actually saw them, though (laughs). Since it was a long snorkeling session, I was really thirsty towards the end. We received water after snorkeling, but I think it would be better to distribute it beforehand so we could take a sip or two before heading out. I thought it was just me, but my daughter also said she was so thirsty she thought she might die (of course, she was joking). If I get to go to Hawaii again, I would definitely repeat this tour! I'm also happy that there's a service to download photos from the internet. I'll definitely go again!

When I went to Hawaii, I definitely wanted to try snorkeling, so I joined this tour. I apologize for the inconvenience caused by not noticing the time change on the day of the tour, but I was relieved that it didn't affect the start of the tour. It was my first time participating in an overseas activity, and I was anxious, but it was a great help that Dan and Chieko communicated with me in Japanese. The weather was clear that day, and the sea was beautiful; I was able to see many fish underwater. I often had issues with seawater getting in while snorkeling before, but the snorkeling gear provided this time was so high-performance that no seawater came in at all, making it very easy to swim. I was also surprised to see cats and mongooses in Hanauma Bay, and I was able to capture them on camera, which made for a great memory. If I come to Hawaii again, I would like to try scuba diving as well.

This was my second time snorkeling at Hanauma Bay, and I was once again amazed by the beauty of the ocean and how easily I could see fish and sea urchins. The guide was also very kind; when I asked if we could see turtles, he went out of his way to search for them at the edge. Unfortunately, we didn't see any turtles, but I had a great time seeing many fish and sea urchins. I tend to get seasick easily, but after taking some motion sickness medication, I was able to enjoy it without feeling sick. Since the tour ends in the morning, I could schedule other plans in the afternoon and make good use of my time.

The local volunteer staff and the guide expressed disappointment that some people were not following the rule of "not standing on the rocks." Additionally, there were people using shampoo and body soap, which should not be used as it flows directly into the ocean. Even when they were warned, it was too late as it had already flowed away... We really need to follow the rules for the sake of future generations.

ハナウマ湾でのシュノーケルは2度目だったのですが、海のきれいさ、魚やウニを簡単に見れることに感動再びです。ガイドさんも親切で、亀は見れますか？と聞いたら、わざわざ端の方まで探しに行ってくださいました。亀は結局いませんでしたが、魚やウニ等たくさん見れてとても楽しかったです。海に酔いやすいので、酔い止めを飲んだら酔うことなく楽しめました。午前中で終わるので、午後に別の予定も入れられて時間を有効に使えます。

I joined this tour after reading reviews. As someone who can't swim at all, I felt like I could swim on this tour, and I had been set on doing snorkeling here! After receiving explanations together, I practiced one-on-one with Teacher Chieko, who kindly encouraged me to relax, and before I knew it, my fear of the water disappeared. Once I got used to it, it was really easy!

I quickly got comfortable and joined everyone else, swimming with my husband holding my hand. I swam in the ocean for the first time in my life. The beauty of the underwater world was truly amazing!! I was able to see many fish and even a sea turtle♡

The only ones who swam energetically until the end were those wearing wetsuits (including me). I highly recommend wetsuits for sun protection and managing your health! Even though I was so anxious about not being able to swim, I wanted to keep swimming forever, and it was the best tour I had in Hawaii! My husband and I talked about wanting to do it again.

Teacher Dan was fluent in Japanese and great at making jokes, which made our time really enjoyable♫ Thank you for the wonderful photos!! I'm grateful to both of you☆ I want to try diving next time (((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o)))

When we participated, there were many foreign participants, but they kindly taught us various things in Japanese, which made us feel at ease during the tour. It was my second time snorkeling, but perhaps because we were in the water for a bit longer than before, I got seasick. Next time, I want to take motion sickness medication before participating. I was disappointed that I didn't get to see any turtles. The view was very beautiful.

This is my second time participating, following last year. My travel companion doesn't snorkel, so I always sign up alone, but both Dan and Chieko talked to me a lot, so I didn't feel lonely at all. I highly recommend this for anyone who is going alone.

They provide thorough snorkeling instruction, so even though it had been a year since my last snorkeling experience, I was able to enjoy seeing the underwater world without any issues.

Photos can be downloaded for free from Facebook. I would like to participate again next time.

Dan and his wife were lovely and very helpful with the group of 9. Being a first time snorkeler and not a very good swimmer, they were patient with each and every one of us. We saw some lovely fish but unfortunately did not see turtles that day! :( Will definitely be back next time though! 10/10 would recommend especially for first time beginners.

Although I have already passed my sixtieth birthday, I really wanted to participate in a snorkeling tour, so I searched for various tours and finally found this one. It was the right choice!! They taught me how to use the snorkel very carefully, so I was able to enjoy seeing many small fish without any anxiety, and I had a really fun time. They also kindly advised me that if I was going to take motion sickness medication, now was the time, and that I didn't need a wetsuit since it was summer. Thank you very much. I definitely want to participate again next time.

The way we snorkeled was quite fun, similar to how divers move around. I found it more interesting than some strange introductory diving experiences. My companion was smiling the whole time.
I thought we wouldn't see any turtles due to the rough sea, but everyone was diligently searching, and we did see some turtles. There were also older participants (in their 60s to 80s) who smiled and said, "It's my first time."
Despite the bad weather, I felt relaxed in that calm, homey atmosphere. The guide was kind.

Hanauma Bay seems to be very suitable for first-timers or those who may have concerns about their physical strength, as the sea level can change with the tides.

そういう穏やかなアットホームの雰囲気に悪天候でしたが癒されました。
ガイドさんは親切でした。

ハナウマ湾は潮の満ち引きで、海面が低くなったりするみたいなので、初めての方や、体力に不安があったりする方には非常にいい気がします。

It was just my elementary school daughter and me participating. Since it wasn't a tour from a travel agency, I was a bit nervous about the operating company, but the guide was a very friendly Japanese woman. We had a lot of fun chatting, and she even told us about some delicious restaurants in Hawaii, which helped ease my nerves and allowed me to truly enjoy snorkeling. Later, when I looked at the photos, I was surprised to see that the sky was quite cloudy! With a reservation made and paid for 3 weeks in advance, with no notification, apology or anything we got stood up! When you travel thousands of miles and program once in a lifetime activities you have to be able to rely on these on line bookings! We fully regret using this company as we lost a whole day of a planned activity, you simple can't afford to waste time like this when you are on vacation for a limited amount of days. Telling us "we will refund your money" just isn't enough! DO NOT BOOK YOUR SNORKELING TOUR HERE!!

I think it's better to go in the early morning. I had the 8:15 plan. By late morning, I was getting ready to leave Hanauma Bay, and it was already really crowded at that point. If you tell the guide, "I'll do my best with snorkeling!" they will take you out to the deeper water. I encountered a sea turtle out there! It was amazing.

Hanauma Bay is definitely a place you should visit, not only for the beauty of the beach from the outside but also for the abundance of fish and the chance to see turtles. Lastly, the guide gave me their business card, and I was happy to find out that I could download photos taken by the guide (including underwater shots) from the URL written on it.
