Pearl Harbor tour
Reviewed by: Sue Williams, 2016/04/16We had a great driver. He was very pleasant and informative. We learned a lot. We particularly enjoyed the Bowfin submarine. We had kids ages 8 and 10. It was very interesting. The movie about the history of Pearl Harbor very moving. The USS Mossouri was interesting but made tour a bit long for the kids. I would recommend the shorter tour of heading home after the Arizona Memorial if you have young kids. Submarine was highlight for us for the day.

Arizona Memorial & USS Missouri at Pearl Harbor.

The story of Pearl Harbor is a tragic era in our modern history. As an Australian, I empathise with the Americans for the way their service people and civilians were attacked, violated and killed at that time in history. The war in the Pacific involved a list of countries. My place of work, is named after a Hospital Ship "Centaur "..this boat belonged to the Australian fleet. It was bombed off the coast of Queensland, north of Brisbane.....it had the flag stipulating its identity as a Hospital Ship, but was still attacked by a Japanese submarine. Many innocent people lost their lives on that day also, same as in Pearl Harbor. Our freer was sensational, his knowledge and wit were unbelievable..

We had no problems at the park when we got there with our email confirmation for all activities. It was a time saver at the park.

The Complete Guided Pearl Harbor Tour with Admission, Lunch & Transportation
History Brought to Life
Reviewed by: A. Byrne, 2016/02/15The Pearl Harbor Heroes Adventure Tour brings a key pages from the 20th Century history to life. It is a excellent tour for people who have deep interest in history and those whose only brush with history is at the movies. The tour covers all the key points of interest at Pearl Harbor including the USS Arizona, USS Missouri, Pacific Aviation Museum and the USS Bowfin. Although it is a full day you will not have time to view all the sites in detail. One recommendation, tour the USS Bowfin before you venture in to the museum as you will not have time to do both. Overall this was money well spent and will probably do it again next time I visit Hawaii.

Reviewed by: Kelly Craig , 2016/02/13This is the second time for us but we had family guests who had not been before. Last time we took the tour, our guide was excellent, informative, fun. This time we were not as happy with the guide. The first thing he did was tell us about himself and he played football. That took 10 min. He went extensively into the history of the island but did not touch on some of the things that were current such as the Hawaiian housing we drove through, no gangs. He was very monotone. I know he said he had been doing this for 30 years but we paid over $600. and he was boring and not as informative as he could be

Well run tour!
Reviewed by: Ranwin, 2016/01/01The guides from E Noa Tours do a great job providing guests with a good mixture of history, cultural background, and humor. The tour was good, although we felt like we had too much time to kill on land before the boat ride to the USS Arizona Memorial. We also felt like we didn't have enough time at the USS Missouri. Overall, the highlights tour was good and participants definitely get a well-rounded understanding of the history behind the events leading up to December 7, 1941.

Could have been better...
Reviewed by: Bryan, 2015/12/28No time to enjoy or view activities. We felt very rushed. "Gold Package" got us a deli sandwich, which we had to leave the tour for, adding to the time rush. I had taken this tour with a different company several years ago, and had a totally different experience (for the better). Bus drive thru town was pleasant and informative. Driver was knowledgeable.
A couple of more hours could have made all the difference...

Spend an entire day taking your time to truly appreciate each site without a tour company rushing you along to "stay on schedule "! The audio tour is included so you will learn everything that a tour guide can tell you. Simply rent a car, take a cab or take The Bus to get there and enjoy your day. You should plan on being there early as the center gets extremely busier as the day goes along.

The perfect way to see Pearl Harbor
Reviewed by: Jessica, 2015/10/21There are so many attractions at Pearl Harbor from the USS Arizona Memorial, USS Bowfin, USS Missouri, Pacific Aviation Museum and USS Oklahoma Memorials. We recommend spending 6-8 hours to do the entire passport. We also recommend purchasing the docent tour led by volunteers at the Pacific Aviation Museum. Everyone respected all of the memorials and it was a great place to pay respects to those lost in a Pacific tragedy.

My only regret was that I didn't bring my lae that I received at the airport. You can throw flowers at the Arizona.

Wonderful experience

From the sheer size of the ship to the complexity of its workings, to the knowledgeable and competent guides and the great historical presence of the vessel, this is an experience like no other I have enjoyed. It would be easy just to marvel at the size and power of the ship but it also forces you to take pause and wonder at human ingenuity and capacity to create truly awesome weapons of war when the need arises. I heartily recommend this visit as a highlight of my time in Honolulu.

Awesome tour and a must for Vets or History Buffs
Reviewed by: Ian, 2014/10/04As a U.S. Navy Vet I was already beyond excited to go visit the iconic ship, but what was even cooler was being able to have access to so much of ship. However, the best part was being able to stand where the unconditional surrendering of the Japanese took place. Really neat! Only tip I can give is to take the early tours to have more time in each compartment, we took the 9am tour and our group was only 6 people (compared to the 15+ in the group after).
