Pearl Harbor-Battleship Missouri Tour. I had randomly chosen this tour as a last-minute activity before we visited Honolulu. It was a wonderful surprise to have a very knowledgeable individual tour guide. The additional spaces we we able to visit on the ship were awesome and it was indeed worth price of admission.

My father fought in WWII in Italy, my brother was stationed off the coast of Vietnam for two tours, and my son is now serving in Iraq. To say the least the tour of the USS Missouri and the viewing of Pearl Harbor was emotional...just thinking about all who fought for our freedom and all who gave their life. Thank you for preserving history.

What an amazing tour this was. They first take you out to Pearl Harbor where the war was started and you watch the movie about the start of the war, and then you take a boat trip out the memorial which tugs at the heart strings. After pearl Harbor they take you out to USS Missouri where the war ended. You can even see the spot where the surrender was signed. We ate lunch there in the galley, neat experience. Finally we stopped at punchbowl cemetery and looked around. We got some incredible views of the City. Finally they took us on a small sightseeing tour of the city with some fun stories about the history. Great tour! I loved every minute.

Booked directly with Roberts Hawaii prior to coming to Hawaii, the tour guide was great, he told us what not to take to much time on and how everything worked. We only had one problem when we went to the second ship USS missouri, we had a tour guide from the ship and people that were NOT a part of the tour started to join our group which caused our group to become huge by the end and we only had 10 minutes to either eat or see anything else they had, so we missed out on the simulator which the girls really wanted to partake in. Next time I would suggest that you have your own specific tour guide, with colored stickers for the people that are with that tour so that the tour guide can distinguish who paid for this private tour and who did not, as we should not be waiting on people that decided to go at it by themselves and then join a tour which they did not pay for. Other than that, the girls 15 & 17 learned alot and were quite impressed with the whole tour itself. I would suggest th

We really enjoyed this tour. Definitely rent the audio recording of the Pearl Harbor exhibit once you get to the Pearl Harbor visitor center. It greatly enhanced the experience. After Pearl Harbor we toured the USS Missouri. What an experience! The tour guide we had on the USS Missouri was great at verbally drawing pictures and explaining what it was like when the Japanese surrendered. Doing both the Pearl Harbor (USS Arizona) and the USS Missouri tours was great because you got to see what marked the beginning and the end of war.

A great time for history buffs, but the tour does not allow enough time to browse and soak in the sights. It goes fast but one still is moved by the magnitude of the events and sacrifices people paid during those days (and continue to pay).

We had wished for more time to tour the various places (especially the Arizona and Missouri). Though she had kept us on time during the day, we felt a little shorted at these attractions. The city tour was nice as was punchbowl, but time could have been compressed here to afford more time at the Arizona or Missouri. We never made it to the US Army museum as indicated in the itinerary. We did end the day earlier than we had anticipated. Our tour guide was excellent and she knew a lot of information that was helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed her comments and attitude. I understand that it is often hard to predict if people will be on time or not and therefore you need to plan accordingly, however as we were all on time most of the day, I think things could have been adjusted.

It was a good trip, the Arizona Memorial was awe-inspiring, the USS Missouri tour informed me of things I didn't. Also since it was the anniversary of the signing of the Peace Treaty, they were sprucing it up. A little disappointed couldn't get out in Punchbowl or downtown, but time constraints may have played a part in that.
Overall it was excellent, our tour guide was well informed and easy to understand.

WOrds cannot explain this activity. My wife and I took a vacation to Hawaii as our yearly get away, no special occasion. I served in the military so this was a must for me to go experience. It was recommended for us to arrive early at pearl harbor. It's true that there is a massive line but I recommend that you go a little later than 6am because the line moves pretty quick. Let me explain the process because I did not see anyone mention it. The memorial opens at 7am and people enter inside the welcome center and get a card with a # on it, which puts you in a group. I estimate the group to be about 50 people. After that time, you just roam around the welcome center until your group # is called. Then you stand in line to go into a theater where you will see ACTUAL footage from the war and it's very touching and heart stopping. After that, you go outside to the water taxi (boat) which takes you out to the actual memorial. you can just feel the mood there. Some people can be disr
