Maui
The location of the luau was perfect for us because it was close. The resort itself is breathtaking and immaculate. We were a party of 12 with 2 young kids and were seated right away. There were several activities for everyone before it got started. We took tons of pictures, most of them being the beautiful sunset. They singing, dancing and overall production was very entertaining. The delicious food and open bar were the icing on the cake. Overall, everyone in our party had a great time.
The show was great. The food was decent as well. It was a nice experience for my wife and three teen daughters. Mahalo!
I stayed at a condominium near the Marriott Resort & Spa. In the evening, I heard some very lively sounds, was it a fire dance? Drawn in by the sounds, I signed up!
I was welcomed with a lei and enjoyed a fun time with others at the free drinks. There were many dishes, so much that I couldn't finish them all. The show was also wonderful; the dancers were young but delivered a passionate performance! The audience even participated on stage, creating a fantastic atmosphere together! During the love songs, it was impressive to see couples dancing, making it a show that naturally made you want to dance.

This was the one ‘touristy’ thing we did, but it was fun. Very well organized, although expect to walk quite a ways to get to it from the dropoff/ parking area. Holy cow, the food was incredible. SOOO much also! And an open bar! I HIGHLY recommend fish, by the way. The roasted pig was good, but I didn’t expect the fish to be so phenomenal... it was a nice surprise. Actually, the only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the poi (traditional taro root ‘sauce/ garnish?’’). I found this place while searching for a hula show in the Wailea area, so I made a reservation. There is no shuttle service, so I think it would be convenient to stay at the Marriott or another hotel in the Wailea area. I reserved a premium seat, but there was a long line at the reception, and since the sun hadn't set yet, it was quite hot. The premium seats were essentially in the second row from the front, with ten people sharing a round table. The show was very visible. There were three long tables set up with the exact same buffet menu, and people in priority seating were served first with one plate. Under the starry sky, I enjoyed a powerful luau and elegant hula.

We had a really good time at the Luau. It was 1 hour long and that was enough time for my children ages 9 & 12 to enjoy the show and get a feel for a bit of Hawaiian culture. We did the cocktails only show and we found this to be a good option for our family. It was a good show for the $112 it cost to attend.

It was an entertaining intimate luau with crowd participation. We did the show and cocktail only option since we are not big eaters. It would have been nice to know they close the bar when the show starts so we were bamboozled on the drinks. Show was not very long but very good.
I have seen a few hula shows, but the luau show at the Marriott had seats that were close to the stage and directly in front, which was wonderful! There were about 300 to 400 audience members, and we were the only two Japanese people there, but it was a lovely night show.

This was our second time attending the luau at the Sheraton and it was excellent once again. The entire luau is run efficiently and the food and entertainment are top-notch. While waiting for the food, you can participate in some ancient Hawaiian and Polynesian games and then you get to witness the unveiling of the kalua pig from the imu.

The venue with about 500 seats set up in the seaside square of the Wailea Marriott was fully booked. We were given leis, and before the show, there were free drinks (including alcohol) and food that we could choose from at each table. By the time we finished eating, the show began. Most of the audience were tourists from the mainland United States, with a few from Japan, Korea, and China. There were many families and newlyweds from various countries, and they called children up to the stage and introduced the newlyweds during hug time. The day after arriving in Maui, I went there. Since I included it in the first half of my stay, it really made me feel like I was in Hawaii! It was a relaxing time. As rumored, every dish was very delicious. They also made sure to allocate time for meals, so I was able to enjoy both the food and the show. I would love to go again.

Food was great, ALL you can eat. Desserts were very good too, ALL you can eat. Alcohol was only Pina Colada, tropical juice or water which was okay. They show good, music was good but it left me wanting something a little better. Overall it was worth my money.
