We were excited to try snuba for the first time as a family of five, but the boat rocked quite a bit, and one of the kids ended up with severe seasickness, so we couldn't really enjoy it in the end.

Both my husband and I can speak some English, so we thought we would be fine without a Japanese guide. However, we couldn't keep up with the explanations and jokes about snuba due to the loud engine noise on the boat, and we regretted that decision.

The visibility of the fish wasn't as good as we had hoped, and we were imagining schools of fish around coral reefs like we saw in the Philippines, so it didn't reach the level of being impressive for us. I think it would have been the same with snuba. (However, there were participants who were amazed, so this is a subjective impression.)

Also, the seawater was quite cold, and we felt very chilly after getting back on the boat, so thick towels and warm clothing are essential.

On a positive note, we finally got to see a sea turtle from the boat towards the end, which was rewarding! It was adorable.

So, for us, the satisfaction level wasn't very high this time, but that doesn't mean the tour itself was bad.

The staff were really kind, cheerful, and cool, and they were considerate of our seasick daughter, which made our experience very pleasant. Other participants also seemed to be having a great time.

If you're not worried about English and seasickness, I think you'll definitely enjoy it!

スヌーバに初挑戦しようと張り切って家族５人で参加しましたが、船がかなり揺れたため、子どもの一人がひどい船酔いになってしまって、結局それどころではありませんでした。

夫も私もある程度の英語はできるし、日本語のガイドさんがいなくても大丈夫かな？と思って参加したのですが、スヌーバの説明やジョークなど、エンジンの音がうるさい船上では全くついていけず後悔しました。

期待したほどに魚影も濃くなく、フィリピンで見た様なサンゴ礁に群がる魚群を想像していた私たちにとっては、感動というレベルではありませんでした。
スヌーバでも、それは同じだったのではないかと思います。
（でも、参加者の中には、スゴイ！と感激している人もいました。これは主観的な感想なので、なんともいえません）

また海水が結構冷たくて、船に上がってからとても寒かったので、厚手のバスタオルや防寒着は必携です。

でも、ウミガメには、終わりがけにやっと船の上から会うことができたので、報われました♪可愛かったです。


今回、そんな訳で、私たちにとってはあまり満足度は高くありませんでしたが、ツアー自体が悪かったわけでは決してありません。

スタッフのみなさんは本当に親切で明るく恰好よく、船酔いした娘にも気遣ってくれたり、とても気持ちよく過ごすことができました。ほかの参加者もみんな楽しそうでした。

英語と船酔いに心配がない方であれば、きっと楽しめると思います！

My partner can't swim at all, but it seemed fun just to float and snorkel.

The attentiveness of the Japanese staff was excellent, and I was able to enjoy myself with peace of mind.

At the second spot, we encountered a sea turtle.
Next time, I want to go during whale season.

My husband and I took this trip while on our honeymoon. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this trip to anyone! All equipment was provided as well as breakfast and lunch (great food!). The water was crystal clear and we were able to see turtles, just as promised. All of the crew were very friendly and helpful. Loved the crew, had a great time. We had a small tour of 12 which was nice and made for tons of room on the boat. Molokini was ok. Tons of boats in that area so I thought it was too crowded, however visibility was amazing saw tons of fish. Loved makena and the turtles. Only saw 4 total but totally worth it. Good lunch and breakfast, good Mai tai's too. As I said good crew made the day more enjoyable. Definitely recommend over the bigger tours.

I was a bit anxious, but I rented a car and drove from Kaanapali. Since it was a straightforward route, I arrived without getting lost. (Of course, I did my research beforehand.) There were plenty of parking spaces available.

We were the only Japanese couple on board, and it was an English-speaking environment. However, the crew members were very kind and cheerful. Even though I didn't understand the explanations at all, I was able to participate in the tour without any issues. While I think tours with Japanese guides are great, I also felt that tours led by locals allow you to fully enjoy the overseas experience, which was wonderful. I truly appreciated all the thoughtful gestures from the crew.

We went snorkeling at Molokini. We did snuba at the turtle spot. (You can choose where to go for each activity.) Molokini had really high visibility, and there were plenty of fish, which was very impressive. The turtle spot was murkier compared to Molokini, but it was truly wonderful to swim alongside the turtles.

During the voyage, there was a moment when a fish hit the fishing rod on the boat, and the crew worked together to reel it in, which was exciting. The meals, including fruits and sandwiches, were delicious. (＾＾) We took motion sickness medication before the trip, and the boat didn't rock much, so I was fine with seasickness. (I can't say for sure if I would have been okay if I had stayed on the boat the whole time, but I was having so much fun swimming around...)

I was initially worried about renting a car overseas and joining a tour without any Japanese participants, but I'm really glad I participated. It turned out to be a great opportunity for us, who have little overseas experience, to gain valuable experience.

I highly recommend this tour where you can interact with many kind Americans. I would love to participate again.

不安でしたが、レンタカーを借りて、カアナパリから自分で運転して行きました。１本道なので、迷うことなく到着できました。（もちろん下調べはきちんとしておきました。）駐車場もたくさんありました。

日本人は私たち夫婦だけで、英語だけが飛び交う船上でした。けれど、船員の方たちが非常に親切で明るく、説明は全く分かりませんでしたが、問題なくツアーに参加することができました。日本人ガイドがいらっしゃるツアーもいいと思いますが、現地だけの人のツアーも、海外に行った気分を満喫できてまたいいものだなぁと思いました。船員の方々のたくさんのお気遣いが本当にうれしかったです。

モロキニ島でシュノーケリング。ウミガメスポットでスヌーバをしました。（どちらでどれをやるかは選択できます。）
モロキニ島は本当に透明度が高くて、魚もいて、とっても感動しました。ウミガメスポットは、モロキニに比べて濁っていましたが、亀と一緒に泳げて本当によかったです。

航海途中、船の釣り竿に魚がヒットして、船員で協力して釣り上げる場面もあって盛り上がりました。
食事もフルーツやサンドイッチなどおいしかったです。（＾＾）
私たちのときは酔い止めを呑んで行ったし、船もあまり揺れず、船酔いも大丈夫でした。（船にずっととどまっていたらわかりませんが、楽しくてどんどん泳いでいたもので・・・）

海外でレンタカーを借りて・・・日本人のいないツアーで・・・と不安もありましたが、参加して本当によかったです。海外経験の少ない私たちにとっていい経験値を積む機会にもなったのかなと大満足です。

アメリカ人のたくさんの親切に接することができるおすすめのツアーです。
また参加したいです。

We had gone on a Molokini excursion once before using another company, who were great as well, but this time we had a 5 year old with us and the glass bottom boat was very appealing. The entire cruise and snorkel/snuba was fantastic. If you're planning on getting a disposable underwater camera, save your money. They had underwater digitals for rent and the rental fee includes transferring your photos to a disc for you.

The crew really was fantastic, but I must give special mention to a young woman named Anna! We weren't planning on taking our 5 year old in the water and didn't even bring her bathing suit. Anna saw her and asked if she wanted to get in the water. When told of her lack of swimsuit, Anna said to just "go Hawaiian" (underpants and shirt) she gave my daughter her own diving shirt and then took her out on one of the snorkel rafts with the window. I didn't even know they had these rafts. She was great and if you read this Anna, your friend Adison says hello!

This is a must do. Such an amazing experience and we had a wonderful crew. I am in my twenties and I took my mom as well as my teenaged nephew and we all enjoyed it. Unfortunately we didnt see dolphins but we saw lots of turtles!! Book early to be sure you get in! We will definitely be sure to book this activity on our next trip to the island.

I went to the parking lot by rental car. The map I searched for on the internet for this tour was very confusing, and I got lost. Moreover, it was quite far from the boat. When I finally reached the boarding area, there was still plenty of space in the parking lot, which made me feel ridiculous. Since there is a parking lot at the boarding area, I recommend that those using this tour go directly to the site.

On the day of the tour, there were only four of us Japanese in our group. However, a Japanese female staff member provided detailed explanations, which was reassuring. Since we couldn't land on Molokini Island, it felt more like a snorkeling tour next to a pile of rocks. There weren't many fish to be impressed by, and depending on the weather, we couldn't stay in the water long enough to encounter turtles. In my case, I gave up due to the cold and got out. So, I only saw a few fish before it was over. Snorkeling in Miyako Island was definitely better. For me, there won't be a repeat visit.

レンアタカーで駐車場まで行きました。このツアーのネッッで検索した地図はとても判りにくくて迷い、しかも船とだいぶ離れた場所・・上船場所まで行くとそこには、まだまだパーキング場に余裕にあり、馬鹿らしい気分になりました。乗船場に駐車場があるので、このツアーを利用される方は現場まで行きましよう。
当日は日本人は自分達のグループ４人だけでした。でも日本人の女性スタッフが細かく説明して下さるので安心です。モロキニ島は上陸できないので、岩の塊の横でシュノーケリングした感じのツアーです。魚はそんなに感動するほどは居ないし、天気によっては亀に出会えるまで水中には居られません。私の場合は寒さに負けて諦めて上がりました。なので、少し魚をみておしまいでした。宮古島のシュノーケリングの方が断然良かった。わたしの場合はリピートはありません。

We signed up for the afternoon Coral Gardens and Captain Dan to us to Molokini Crater which was super awesome. Our first time snorkeling out in the middle of the ocean and we are planning on doing it again next year as a family with our 6 yr old son. We went solo this time for our honeymoon. Tre did great on the video we purchased. Very pleased to see footage of us. MAHALO FOR THAT! BBQ was very nicely done. Not dry at all. Great crew!! ALOOOOOHA & MAHALO!

My friends and I went on this tour because we heard really great reviews from other vacationers, and we are so happy that we went with Pride of Maui. When we first got to the boat to check-in, there was coffee set and breakfast waiting for us the moment we stepped on the boat. The crew on board were really interactive with all the guests, getting to know us and making sure we had a great time on board. Snorkeling at Molokini was incredible! The water was crystal clear and we saw tons of fish. After Molokini, we had a BBQ lunch that was grilled on board and delicious! It was a full tour but luckily there was tons of open seating on the top deck, which was awesome. I also chose to SNUBA and that was AMAZING! Reed, was a great SNUBA instructor and made you feel super comfortable in the water. Harold was the videographer who also put together a fantastic video and photos that you can purchase at the end of the trip as well. I am so happy we went on this tour and I will remember it forever!

Superb Crew Hospitality & Premium snorkeling spots in Maui

The Crew aboard the Aqua Adventure are 2nd to NONE. Each and every member was awake and energetic at 6:30a and very hospitable from the moment we were in line reading the waivers. They were very respectful and helpful in every manner; they safely stored our shoes then firmly held our hands and arms to help us securely board the boat and engaged in getting to know us as they picked out the perfect snorkeling gear sizes for us. The Boat as well as Snorkeling instructions from the Captain were very informative yet personable with some light humor. At both snorkeling spots 1-2 of the crew members voluntarily guided us to the best snorkeling spots if we wanted to follow and showed us the largest sea turtles we have ever seen as well as an octopus and a starfish! The boat speaks for itself with the 2 350hp Cummings Diesel engines that made powering thru the fast wind from the North a piece of cake. Other tours had to take a much longer detour to get back due to the lack of horsepower

Has a great time! The crew was very nice and we enjoyed the ride. I think for the money we spent if people want a wetsuite top they shouldn't charge and extra $5. It kind of cheapens the experience. But, that being said it's a worthwhile adventure. Were glad we did it because snorkeling at the crate was awesome!

On March 30, 2013, I went with my family of three (10-year-old boy). The water clarity was somewhat low that day, and it felt like there were fewer tropical fish. However, we were able to encounter sea turtles. We were able to rent wet suits, so the 30-minute snorkeling was fine. On the way back, we enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere while sailing, and during the trips to and from the snorkeling spot, we also encountered whales together. They were quite close and impressive. Unfortunately, there was no Japanese-speaking crew, but it wasn't a problem at all.

この日は水の透明度がやや低く、熱帯魚も少ないような感じでした。
ただし、海亀には遭遇することができました。
ウエットスーツを借りることができたので、30分くらいのシュノーケンリングは大丈夫でした。
帰りはセーリングでのんびりした雰囲気も楽しむことができ、また、シュノーケリングスポットへの行き帰りにおいては、共にクジラに遭遇することができました。
かなり近くて迫力がありました。
残念ながら、日本語クルーは在籍していませんでしたが、特に問題はありませんでした。

We participated as a couple during the New Year holidays. Having joined various tours on overseas trips and met Japanese staff, I can say that the female staff here were incredibly attentive and made everything feel perfect, resulting in a very enjoyable tour.

When the sea turtles were not surfacing and I was feeling cold and ready to give up and head back to the boat, one of the staff encouraged me to wait a little longer, assuring me that I would definitely see them. Thanks to that, within 20 seconds, the long-awaited sea turtle swam right in front of me.

Did you see it? You saw it, right? They celebrated with me.

Additionally, although there were mostly foreigners and only about ten Japanese guests, during lunch, they arranged for us to be in the best position and at the best timing, allowing us to be first in line and enjoy our meal.

I truly appreciate all the help we received.

年末年始に夫婦2人で参加しました。
何度か海外旅行で色んなツアーに参加して、日本人スタッフにもお会いして来ましたが、
こちらの女性スタッフは本当に痒い所に手が届くような接し方で本当に気持ちよく全てがパーフェクト、とても楽しいツアーになりました。
海カメがなかなか浮上せず、寒くて寒くてもうダメ…船に上がる…と帰りかけた私に「あと少し待ってごらん、絶対見れるから…と引き留めて下さった、そのお陰で20秒もしないうちに、念願の海亀が私の目の前を堂々と泳いで行きました。
見た？見れたね？一緒に喜んでくれました。

それに外人だらけで日本人の客は10人弱だったけれど、ランチの時はベストポジション＆ベストタイミングで並ばせてくれて、お陰様で1番で並び、食べる事が出来ました。

本当にお世話になりました。

This was my first time on Maui, and I signed up for the most popular tour. However, it exceeded my expectations! I was able to see many whales and swim with sea turtles, which was a wonderful experience.

There were really very few Japanese people on Maui, and I was worried because the guide who picked us up couldn't speak Japanese, but I was relieved that a Japanese staff member accompanied us and provided thorough explanations. I would love to participate again when I visit Maui next time. I experienced a bit of seasickness this time, so I recommend that those who are prone to motion sickness take some medication before joining.

This Excursion does NOT Disappoint

We take this excursion to Molikini and Turtle Island every time we visit Maui. The crew of the catamaran, Capt Fish, David and Gary were amazing. They kept us safe, hydrated with water (or adult beverages), and made sure everyone that got in the water, got out of the water.

They also had a professional photographer who made sure everyone had a grand time, and preserved it on a CD you will not believe. The colors light up and we are glad he was along. We didn't have to worry about taking pictures.

We saw lots of whales, beautiful fish, but were a bit short on the turtles.

The selection of meats, cheeses and salad for lunch were a surprise. The sandwiches were easy to assemble, the bread was fresh, and it was just really good.

Go and enjoy!

I chose the four winds II because of the glass bottom viewing. We are a family of 4 and 2 swim and 2 do not. All had a great time. Snorkeling was great and saw some whales and turtles on our way back. The pulled pork sandwiches they serve onboard after snorkeling were the best. Would do this again.

Every December, I go to a remote island to enjoy snorkeling trips, but the weather is often bad during this time. However, this time the weather was fantastic, and we were able to relax comfortably on the deck of the boat.

There were some rough waves, so one person got seasick and had to sit down, but since they are generally weak on boats, there's not much you can do about that. The snorkeling at Molokini Island has excellent water clarity, but... although I wasn't expecting much, I was still disappointed by the lack of coral and fish. Having experienced Okinawa, the Maldives, and Palau, I can't help but compare.

At the turtle spot, there were several turtles, and I even encountered one that was floating while mating. However, the visibility there wasn't great, and there were no fish at all. Our group was the only Japanese people there.

Our guide, Takako, was friendly and cheerful, which made our experience enjoyable and comfortable. My father, who couldn't go into the water, was also satisfied because the weather was nice.

毎年１２月には離島に行きシュノーケルトリップを楽しみますがこの時期は天候が悪いことも多いです。しかし今回はすっごく良いお天気で船のデッキで気持ち良くすごせました。
少し波が荒かったため１名だけ船酔いしダウンしましたがもともと船に弱いためこればっかりは仕方ないですね。
モロキニ島のシュノーケルは海の透明度は抜群ですが・・・期待していなかったもののやっぱり珊瑚や魚が少なく残念でした。沖縄やモルディブ・パラオを体験してるのでそれと比べてしまいます。カメがいるスポットには何匹もいて交尾しながら浮いてくるカメにも遭遇しました。ただここは透明度は良くありませんし全く魚はいません。
日本人は私達グループのみでした。
ガイドのタカコさんは気さくで天真爛漫。おかげでこちらも楽しく快適に過ごせました。
海に入れない父も天気が良かったので満足していました。

I was able to see sea turtles. They were very large, and I was deeply moved when I saw them.
At Molokini, I went snuba diving. It was easier and more casual than scuba diving, and I thoroughly enjoyed the clear waters. The cheeseburger for lunch was also delicious. Additionally, the Japanese staff were very attentive, and I had a great time.

My first snorkeling experience at Molokini Island!! I was worried because there were mostly foreigners around, but thanks to the friendly support from a Japanese female staff member (I'm sorry, I forgot her name), I enjoyed it more than I expected. The ocean in October was a bit chilly at first, but once I got in, it was warm. Molokini Island had cave-like formations and beautifully colored fish, making it so much fun that I lost track of time. It was incredibly enjoyable. Even though it was October, the Hawaiian sun was strong, and it got hotter as the afternoon went on, so I ended up getting sunburned!! For those participating, please apply sunscreen generously. Even with sunscreen, you can still get burned (laughs).

まわりは外人さんだらけで心配でしたが、日本人の女性スタッフのかた（ごめんなさい。名前忘れちゃいました）のきさくなフォローもあり思ってたよりも楽しめました。10月の海ははじめはひやっとしましたが、海の中に入ってしまえばあたたかったです。モロキニ島は洞窟みたいなのがあったり、きれいな色の魚がいたりと時間を忘れるほどの楽しさでした。時間を忘れるくらい楽しかったです。10月とはいえハワイの日差しは強く午後になるにかけて暑くなり日焼けもしました！！参加する方は日焼け止めこれでもかってくらいぬってくださいね。塗っても焼けます（笑）

I participated with a friend last month. Since we didn't have a car, we chose a tour that provided transportation. After arriving at the harbor, a Japanese staff member took care of us, which made us feel secure until the end. We also participated in the snorkeling activity. They arranged for us to enter at Molokini Island, and since a group of Japanese girls who were supposed to join us canceled last minute, my friend and I ended up snorkeling together. However, I felt a bit embarrassed as a Japanese person. I borrowed a jacket, but it was warmer than I expected, so I might not have needed it. We also saw honu (sea turtles) several times, so I would like to participate again.

Upon arriving at Molokini Island, you can snorkel for about an hour. The fish are decent. The crescent-shaped island doesn't seem to matter much as you get closer.

There were just the two of us Japanese, but the staff, although they couldn't speak Japanese, were very kind to us. The weather was nice, the sea was blue, and it was a very pleasant tour. At the sea turtle point, we were able to swim together. If you go to Maui, it's all about the sea. I think this tour is just right for enjoying the ocean.

We were picked up at the hotel at 6:50 AM, and it took about 15 minutes to get to the port for boarding the cruise.

The tour participants were about half foreign and half Japanese. My husband and I took a seat on the second floor with a good view, and it took about an hour to reach the snorkeling point. The Japanese staff provided a thorough explanation of the snorkeling precautions, which made us feel at ease.

We entered the water and observed the coral reefs and fish. I felt a bit disappointed, thinking, "Is this all there is?" I was expecting more colorful coral reefs.

We changed points and went to see sea turtles, and we were thrilled to encounter them several times.

It was convenient to have breakfast and lunch on the cruise. The food wasn't particularly delicious, but considering the cost performance, I was satisfied.
