The 6:30 AM pickup was a bit sleepy, but once I got on the boat, I woke up. Last year, when I went snorkeling on the Big Island (Captain Cook), the water wasn't very clear and the fish weren't that great, so I didn't have high expectations this year. However, at Molokini, the water was quite clear and there were plenty of fish. There were several types of fish like pipefish and butterflyfish, so I was satisfied.

After about an hour, we headed to the next sea turtle point. I was worried that the water wouldn't be very clear and that I might not see any turtles, but fortunately, I was one of the first to get into the water and quickly encountered one. Since there weren't many people yet, I was able to enjoy watching it swim leisurely. I swam here for nearly an hour, but compared to Molokini, there were fewer fish, and the main attraction was definitely the sea turtles. Just when I thought it was almost over, the guide told us there was a turtle a little further away, so I hurried over and was able to see the second one.

I realized how glad I was to join the tour since I wouldn't have known the spots on my own. On the way back, I relaxed on the boat while enjoying beer and cocktails while watching the video the crew had taken.

１時間ほどして、次のウミガメポイントへ。水はあまりきれいでなかったので、ウミガメが見れるかどうか心配だったのですが、ほぼ一番乗りで海に入ったのが幸いで、すぐに１頭に遭遇しました。まだ、あまり人がいなかったので、ゆったり泳いでいる姿を堪能できました。ここでも１時間近く泳いでいましたが、モロキニに比べ魚も少なく、やっぱり目当てはウミガメ。そろそろ終わりかという時に、少し離れたところにカメがいるとガイドの人が教えてくれたので、全速力でそちらに向かい２頭目を見ることができました。
自分ではポイントなどわからないし、ツアーに参加してよかったと思った瞬間でした。帰りの船中では、クルーが撮ったビデオを見ながらビールやカクテルを飲んでゆったりできました。

I would give this 4 1/2 stars! My husband and I ended up getting a private tour because no one else signed up! Our guide was great (didn't give name)-he constantly was bringing things back up to the surface to show us and was very knowledgable about anything we asked about. I had a very personal and special experience with a female turtle while snorkeling and we saw some while kayaking, but I thought we would see more at the turtle cleaning station. Would recommend this to anyone with experience. The total time was good but we wish it could have been a little longer-our guide didn't want us to be on choppy waters. Our tour was around 3 hrs. They provide you with snacks and water. Our guide was snapping pictures for us and will e-mail them to us for free! Can't wait to see them! Mahalo to our guide and this company!!

Tip: After you are done, ask your guide about the Jaws Food Truck-delicious fish tacos and burritos with snacks and smoothies!

My husband and I took the snorkeling trip on the Trilogy V out to Molokini Crater. What an amazing adventure! The crew was so wonderful and went out of their way to take care of their guests. The food was delicious! The crew served fresh baked cinnamon rolls and fruit for breakfast, a huge lunch, and an ice cream sundae for dessert, as well as unlimited beverages. The trip out and back from the crater was so much fun! The snorkeling was top notch! After snorkeling at the crater, we also snorkeled at Turtle Town where we saw beautiful sea turtles in their natural environment. There is nothing more amazing! I would highly recommend this trip and we cannot wait to sail with this crew again. Thank you for the amazing memories!

The Japanese guide was also present and provided thorough explanations. Initially, I requested only snorkeling, but I changed to snuba on the boat. I was amazed by the beauty of the sea around Molokini Island and the many fish! I even encountered a sea turtle right next to me; it was a fun experience!

the captain gave us an outstanding sailing adventure. the snorkeling at Molokini was only so-so. that was not something he could control. the turtle place he took us to was outstanding. the crew was very helpful and respectful. they served a great meal, and snacks too.

I would suggest anyone to do it in the morning because in the afternoon it's way too short, you get about 1hr to snorkel because it takes more than one hour to get to molokini and another to get back. Everything was a lot of fun but I WOULD NEVER DO THE SNUBA OPTION AGAIN - it's a different business so you'd have to pay there, me and my husband were both disappointed, it's not that much of a difference from snorkeling because the line isn't too long, it's just 30 mins of the time you're there, the guy running it was extremely rude and you have to pay an additional 60$ per person, NOT WORTH IT!
But apart from the snuba issue, the rest of the trip was fun, and bbq lunch was good! Molokini is beautiful.

Absolutely amazing! A must do activity while in Maui!

Beautiful, magnificent, spectacular, and extraordinary. Just a few words that come to mind when talking about my experience with this activity. I knew that while I was on Maui, that I wanted to go scuba diving. Unfortunately, you have to be certified to go scuba diving. So, I did the next best thing. I went on a snorkel/snuba diving adventure. Not only was the experience breathe taking, but the instructors, captain, film crew, and the rest of the staff was so courteous and knowledgeable. Any questions, comments, or concerns you have they are more than willing to go above and beyond your expectations to make you feel comfortable. Well worth every penny I spent on this activity. Anyone who is thinking about going snorkeling, should check out this company. They have amazing customer service which is hard to find. The snuba adventure is unlike anything I've ever tried. You get the opportunity to swim up close and personal with all kinds of sea life. Highly recommend spending the extra money to go snuba diving.

This was a wonderful trip for our honeymoon. Lunch was provided and tasted great. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable of the sea and all the species we encountered. Our guide stopped the boat at one point so we could watch as a large pod of dolphins that surrounded our boat. We were also able to swim with a Monk Seal! Absolutely recommend this adventure to visitors.

I participated on March 9th. The day before, I went whale watching from Lahaina, and we were able to see whales on the way to the snorkeling point. The captain slows down the boat when he spots a whale, which makes everyone very happy.

On the day of the event, there were about 40 participants, and among them, only five were Japanese, including us. Our guide, Takako (who shares the same name as my wife), took great care of us.

As for snorkeling, the visibility and the number/types of fish were somewhat lacking... But since we could see whales during this season, it was still worthwhile. We also spotted three turtles. If you're just looking for turtles, the rocky area behind the power plant at Kahului Harbor is a sea turtle point. There are about 20 floating around. However, unlike Laniakea in Oahu, there are no sandy beaches here, so you won't see them basking on the shore.

３/９に参加しました。前日はラハイナからのホエールウォッチングに行ったのですが、シュノーケリングポイントへの道中クジラを見ることができます。
キャプテンもクジラを見つけるとボートのスピードを落としてくれるのでみんな大喜び。
当日は４０人ほどの参加者で日本人は我々含め５名、ガイドのタカコさん（女房と同名）がいろいろ世話を焼いてくれます。
純然にシュノーケルとしては透明度・魚の数/種類などイマイチの感が・・・
でもこの時期はクジラを見ることが出来るので良しでしょう。
カメもチラチラっと３匹見ることが出来ました。
カメだけでしたら、カフルイ港の発電所裏岩場がシータートルポイントです。
２０匹位浮かんでます。ただオアフのラニアケアと違って砂浜ではないので甲羅干しは見ることが出来ませんが。

I was able to cruise for a very long time.

I did whale watching, snorkeling, and sailing for lunch—all of it.

I think being out at sea longer than any other boat in the harbor shows the quality of service.

I will definitely use this again when I come to Maui.

Molokini is one of the best spot for snorkel/snuba the water is way more clear then the beaches, tons of exotic fish for you to swim with and this group of guys are the best. Delicious food, ice cold drinks and everyone are very friendly, the best customer service I have encountered. With the captain's guidance we were able to spot lots of whales and sea turtles as well. If you decide to go to molokini make sure you go with these guys, you will not regret it.

It was a cold, rainy day in late January. I participated without receiving the cancellation notice I was expecting. Even under the gloomy rain clouds, the visibility was high, and I think the scenery would have been breathtaking if it had been sunny.

After moving to a different location, the sun began to peek through, and I enjoyed swimming in the area where the sea turtles were. Both places had clear water, but it was a pity that there were few tropical fish.

１月下旬の寒い雨降りの日でした。期待した中止連絡はなく、参加しました。どんより雨雲の下でも透明度は高く、晴れていれば感動する景色だったと思います。
場所を移動後は徐々に晴れ間も見えてきて、ウミガメのいる場所での遊泳を堪能しました。
どちらも透明な海でしたが、熱帯魚が少ないことは残念でした。

I'm really glad that I, someone who can't swim at all, was able to enjoy snorkeling without drowning! I had seen it on TV, but I never expected to see such beautiful fish right in front of me; it was truly moving! This time, I could only manage to put my face in the water, but if I get another chance, I definitely want to dive deeper. I encourage those who can't swim to give it a try as well! (laughs)

crystal clear at Molokini

It was my first time snuba diving. Molokini was crystal clear and we could see everything. After the snuba dive we were allowed to snorkel some more. We then went to turtle town. I think the corals were spawning. The water was not very clear. But we did see some more turtles. On the way back we even saw some whales.
Wet suit and the second snuba dive price were not included in the voucher. I wish hawaiiactivities would collect these added fees up front rather than we pay in the boat.

I have never kayaked or snorkeled before. The kayaking was great the instructor/guide went over everything with us. I liked it so much I will start doing it here at home. My wife loved the snorkeling. I had a bit of an issue in the begging because I sink in water so once I put the life vest on I was good to go. I recommend a gopro camera for some unforgettable footage.

Bring your own life jacket

My kids had a great time as did my husband, but I did not. I can swim, but am not used to deep water (35 feet) and the waves. I asked for an adult life jacket and was told to just hang on to the rope on the back of the boat. I should have asked another crew member as Tiffany and Jason were awesome, but the guy I asked at the back told me it wouldn't help. So I was left panicking at the back of the boat while my husband went out with my two young boys. In hindsight, bring your own life jacket if you or your kids need one to make sure it fits and works for you. I'm sure my boys will go again, but I'll stay on shore.

I had wanted to go snorkeling at Molokini Crater for a long time, but I never had the chance until now. This time, I decided to take the plunge and signed up for this tour.

When I arrived at the meeting point in the morning, a Japanese staff member was waiting, and I completed the check-in process. We took a commemorative photo (which was available for purchase after disembarking, but not many people bought it), and I was able to enjoy some coffee there as well. After boarding the boat and securing my seat, we gathered on the first floor for a briefing. The staff spoke a bit quickly, but it was reassuring to have someone from Japan there.

Upon arriving at Molokini, we put on our fins and entered the water. At first, I was scared, but the water was clear and beautiful, and I saw many fish. I gradually got used to it and started having fun. I was also able to see turtles and dolphins, which was very moving. However, it was disappointing to see someone chasing a turtle aggressively just to take photos.

After returning to the boat for lunch, we headed to the next turtle spot, but it was murky, and I couldn't see many fish. It was supposed to be a turtle spot, but I didn't see any turtles at all.

Having experienced the beautiful sea earlier, my excitement dropped a bit, but it couldn't be helped. I thought it would have been better to go to the turtle spot after Molokini.

Many people didn't see turtles during the snorkeling, and we ended by searching for turtles swimming in the sea. The staff was friendly, so I had a very enjoyable time.

以前からモロキニ島のシュノーケルがしたかったものの、なかなか機会がなかったのですが、今回は思い切ってこちらのツアーに申し込み、参加することにしました。

朝、集合場所に到着すると、日本人のスタッフが待機しており、手続きを済ませました。
記念写真を撮ってもらい（下船してから販売していましたが、買っている人はあまりいませんでした。）、そこでコーヒーも飲めました。
船内に乗り込み、座席を確保したら、１階に集合して説明を受けます。
スタッフは少し早口でしたが、日本の方がいるというだけで安心しました。

モロキニ島に到着すると、足ひれなどを装着して海へ。
最初は恐かったのですが、海が透き通っていてきれいで魚もたくさん見れ、段々慣れてきて楽しくなりました。カメやイルカも見ることができ、とても感動しました。
ただ、写真を撮りたいがためにカメをすごい勢いで追いかけている人がいて残念でした。

船に戻り、ランチを食べ、次のカメスポットに向かったのですが、こちらは濁っていてあまりお魚も見れず、カメスポットのはずが全くカメも見えませんでした。

先にきれいな海を体験した後だったので、少しテンションが下がりましたが、仕方がありません。
カメスポットに行ってから、モロキニに行った方がいいのにな～と思いました。

シュノーケル中にはカメが見れなかった人が多く、最後に海で泳いでいるカメを探して終了。
フレンドリーなスタッフだったので、とても楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。
