Great way to start vacation

The driver was very friendly and informative about the scenic views.

Miscommunication
Reviewed by: Bill, 2014/11/30Marcia, who is very friendly took my directions down correctly that I wished to be picked up outside of the parking area of the hotel not inside - had her directions misunderstood and the driver waited for me by the front desk of the hotel inside instead - and was leaving when I finally looked to catch him just by luck.

Maui shuttle

After a short wait, they sent me to the resort in a cab, as the shuttles were going to be a while. I would definitely use them again, and appreciated not having to wait any longer than necessary at the airport.

Mini shuttle or Tour Bus?
Reviewed by: Bill, 2014/10/11I was confused as to where my shuttle would pick me up after being told by the tour bus driver on drop off at the parking lot near the car rental booths that this is where I would be picked up after returning my rental car a few days later. I was glad I checked to find out that a mini shuttle would instead pick me up at the front of the baggage area.
Less confusion would have been avoided if I were given instructions when I made my reservation.

Transportation from airport to condo

AGGGHHH!
Reviewed by: Grace300, 2014/08/11The driver was VERY courteous and concerned about getting me to the airport on time, however...they need some help with scheduling and reservation FOR SURE! The driver arrived 15 minutes late, and had a hard time turning the vehicle around in our pretty much empty parking lot, so a little more time waas lost.
He was not prepared with good directions for his next pick up in Lahaina, about 20 minutes away from where he picked me up. He contacted dispatch for directions, and the directions they gave him sent him down Front St in Lahaina on a Friday night. Wall to wall people and traffic. He would have been better off staying on the highway past the commercial part of the street. They eventually sent another driver to pick up the other fare, who it turns out, were scheduled to be picked up at the SAME TIME as I was...20 minutes south!! He was a good driver, and got me to the airport in time for my flight, but we left Lahaina an HOUR past when we were supposed to. I do not view this as a driver failure, but a team failure. Get it together Roberts dispatch!!
I will try you again, but I am hoping that you make some much needed improvements in your teamwork!

Not Timely, but wonderful driver

Reviewed by: Ms. Ems, 2014/07/16We live in Oahu and since it’s summer, my husband and I decided to take our children ages 9, 7, & 2 to Maui. It's their first time on the island so I thought of giving them a little surprise upon arrival there. I also ordered my husband and I a lei just for us to experience it as well but my husband was not aware of this.
My husband and I got the Deluxe Honeymoon Special while the kids received the Standard Orchid Leis.
On our way down the escalator, we saw our Lei Greeter right away! We were behind our kids and it was so funny when the girls approached the greeter immediately upon seeing the sign with our family name! They were so excited and couldn't stop asking questions, like how do they know your name Mom? How do they know we are here? I thought that was awesome! The Leis were lovely, so fresh and beautiful, much more with the Deluxe Leis we got for me and my husband! Again, my husband wasn't expecting this but he loved it!
Kainoa, our greeter was also very nice and friendly, he made sure we know where we were going, directed us to the baggage claim and gave us directions to pick-up our car rental. Overall, the experience was great! We arrived at 6:40am and being greeted with fresh flowers early in the morning was just very calming..it gives you that "good vibe" feeling that the rest of your journey will be fun and memorable and it was!
I would love, love, love to have my family and friends experience this as well when visiting the islands.. this is a nice surprise! Thank you Maui Lei Greetings!

The main office must have not sorted out the paper work correctly... Although they did have the box shipped over to our hotel once we called and told them what happened.

Memorable experience
Reviewed by: Peter, 2013/12/07My mother's one wish on visiting Maui was to have a lei greeting so I arranged it with Veltra without her knowing.
What a fantastic experience for her. The rep was waiting by baggage claim, easy to find with her name on a clipboard.
He could have just done his job and presented her with the lei but no, a wide smile, a hug, a warm welcome to the island. He then chatted with her for a few minutes and a final hug before giving us directions to the car rental counter.
Worth every penny, she will cherish this for the rest of her life.

A little disappointing

Almost missed out

Our plane landed a little early so we missed our greeter. Finally caught up with him as he was getting in a car to go home! He didn't know we landed early. (I thought they were supposed to check on that?) The leis were beautiful and my brother and his wife were nicely surprised. I would do this again.
