Crew was very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. They would take your fish off the hook and store it for you while giving you some information about the fish you caught. We went to several different spots that the captain knew about trying to find fish and most everybody caught some. Would go back again.

Four hour fishing charter

We had a really great time on our charter on Tues Nov 11th. It was blowing hard in the morning but the crew managed to find us an area that was out of the wind. Captain Zach, Gauge and Styles(?.... Can't quite remember his name) were truly the best part of the whole thing. They were all super engaging and gave a lot of information about the sea life around the island, although the Captain might need to work on his jokes a little! Haha. I would highly recommend this charter company to anyone. Thanks guys! - Leroy, Nathanda and the boys.

We recently hired Aloha Blue Charters for a private charter in Maui for our family. This was a special trip to honor and carry out the final wishes of my parents. Captain Larry and First Mate Freddy brought us near their favorite area in Kihei and were very helpful and caring during our ceremony. It was a wonderful and memorable time for our family. Hokua Private Boat Charter from Maalaea Harbor - Aloha Blue Charters

We were visiting Maui for our 50th Wedding Anniversary and celebrating with our 4 children and spouses and 7 Grandkids - 16 total. We wanted a small boating trip that would accomodate everyone's individual ideas of a snorkeling trip - not too long, too many people, too choppy, etc. Then I found Aloha Blue charters online, it sounded perfect. They had a 2 hour private afternoon boat trip available for a reasonable price for the whole boat. Our Captain Larry and assistants Jeren and Sienna were a delightful team that made our trip very memorable. 13 of us were in the water for a little over an hour enjoying the underwater sealife and the others watched and enjoyed themselves on board. I would recommend this "customized" trip (2-4 hours - snorkeling, sightseeing and/or fishing) to all families visiting Maui that don't want what is offered on most of the more expensive trips advertised. Overpriced

I chose this excursion for my husband and older teenage son because they both LOVE fishing. The reviews were awesome and the description stated the excursion was 4.5 hours. Unfortunately this experience underdelivered. Opposite of other reviews, my boys didn’t catch a single thing. The other guests on the boat only caught small fish and not many of them. I understand that this is difficult to control; however this trip was rather expensive and it was described as if the captain and crew would know exactly where to go to find fish. Additionally, the excursion lasted barely 4 hours after take off. Although not discussed, I would also like to suggest that you take smaller crews and have an age limit...perhaps 13 and older and another experience for those under 13.

We loved our fishing experience with UFO Parasail and light tackle fishing. Captains Mark and Steve were fantastic from beginning to end. Thankfully, the family that was expecting a private charter, was willing to let us join them because our reservation was not received by the charter company.
It all worked out and I will recommend UFO to any and all.

I highly suggest taking this fishing cruise! Not only was the Captain and crew very knowledgeable on all the types of fish, the Captain put us in the perfect spot so that practically everyone on board caught at least one fish. I myself caught 4, and two of those were keepers. They were all cleaned and ready for me when we departed the boat and I was even given the perfect way to eat them. What a fun time!

Great trip in rough weather

The crew was great - wind was so bad that it was borderline on weather or not to cancel. But even in that wind and the choppy conditions the guys took us out and we caught fish! They cleaned it all up for us and we cooked it up that night. All in all, great experience.
