Ziplining was an awesome experience and the staff was excellent! Definitely worth the money :)

In spite of the downpour of rain the day of our kayak adventure (5/28), it was fun and we all had quite a workout. Our guide, Harley, was excellent in every way. Very informative, patient, skilled, and accommodating! It would have been nice if you had ordered more sunshine but then we would have been sunburned; this way, we were just wet!

I was blessed to go on the Zipline Trek yesterday morning, and had such an amazing experience. The ziplines and course were incredible, but what truly made the tour were the guides, Trevor and Nick. From the minute we got our backpacks and climbed into the van, their energy, enthusiasm and candor put everyone at ease immediately...truly setting the tone for a remarkable day.

Between Trevor's humor and charm, and Nick's great historical knowledge and easy going attitude, it was a dynamic duo that I for one was so grateful to have lead me. I am an avid traveler, and have been on many tours...and if anyone knows, it would be me, that oftentimes it is the guides that can make or break the entire "feel" of the experience. Hands down, 100%, I can confidently say that Trevor and Nick MADE this experience.

And by the end of the day, I do believe we were all a bit enraptured with Trevor especially...even down to the 15 year old swooning in the back...charmer, witty, and just wonderful. G

We had never been ziplining before but your staff made us feel very safe. Jaime was wonderful. She was so funny and knowledgeable at the same time. We had a great time and we would definately do this again if we every came back to Hawaii. We would recommend this to everyone.

After helicoptering over it the day before, my lady and I weren't sure seeing the Na Pali coastline from below by boat would be worth the time and money. Boy, were we glad we took the chance! The two experiences were totally different. The sunset dinner cruise on the Holoholo catamaran was up close and personal. We recommend it highly.

My wife an I are both empty nesters (read that to mean at or near 50.) We've both been travelers and everywhere we go, we schedule events that expose us to the area we are visiting and the people and history of the area.

This event was so much fun and at no time did we feel anything be valued as being in the care and guidance of Dida and Danny.

You will meet people from all corners of the world. Eat a good low fat breakfast the morning of this event. Water is provided, and take advantage of it.

Our personal thanks to this outfitter for giving us a memory of our visit to Kauai we will never forget.

this was second luau i have attended . This by far was more enjoyable than the other one attended. Grounds are unique and family were very pleasant and very organized. The show was beautiful. would recommend without hesitation

This is not your normal tubing- it's way cooler! Who can say they've tubed through an old ditch for irrigating sugar fields! Not to mention Kehea and Marty are super awesome guides.

I'm from Louisiana where we have plently of places to go tubing. This is a one of a kind excursion!!! I've gone scuba diving, snorkeling with stingrays, etc and nothing compared to this.. The tour guides were very nice and fun to be around.. This is a perfect trip for families as well as children.. I would definately do this again!!

Unfortunately, our trip was canceled due to bad weather, but I wanted to share my experience for future reference. When I called the tour company at 6 PM the evening before our reservation to confirm the boat departure for the next morning, everything was still on schedule. So, we arrived at the port at 6 AM, checked in, and waited around. Then, there was an incredible downpour and strong winds. About 30 minutes after the meeting time, the captain informed us that we would go to the Na Pali Coast, but we wouldn't be able to go near Niihau Island. He explained that those who were going that day would receive a 25% refund on the tour price, and we could either change our schedule or cancel. I felt that the explanation was quite considerate. We decided to change our schedule. The earliest we could reschedule was two days later, so we made the change for that date.

The evening before the new reservation date, I received a call on my registered mobile phone from the tour company, informing me that bad weather was expected again the next morning, and they would have to cancel the tour altogether. Since we didn't have any other available dates, we decided to cancel. They explained that the full amount would be refunded through Alan1, which I understood. The next day, I received an email from Alan1 confirming the full refund, and when I checked my credit card online two days later, the full amount had indeed been refunded. I was relieved by the prompt and appropriate response from both the tour company and Alan1.

Weather is beyond our control, so I hope to try again someday. However, I realized that it's essential to provide your mobile phone number and contact information when booking a tour that can be affected by weather in Hawaii. Additionally, if the tour company doesn't have Japanese-speaking staff, it might be a bit challenging if you don't understand much English. Also, for tours on Kauai, it might be better to book in spring or summer when there are generally more good weather days compared to winter. However, the rain in Kauai has its own charm and can be quite enjoyable.

実際は悪天候によりキャンセルとなり行けなかったのですが、今後の参考になると思い、体験談として書いておきます。予約日前日夕方6時に翌朝のボート出航の確認のため電話したときには予定通りだったので、翌朝6時、港に行き、チェックインを済ませたあとぶらぶら待っていた。そのあと、ものすごい土砂降りと風で、集合時刻30分後に、キャプテンから話があり、ナパリコーストには行くが、ニイハウ島近くには行けないので、今日行く人にはツアー代の25%を返却する、日程を変更することもできるし、キャンセルもできる、という説明でした。説明は良心的だなと感じました。私たちは日程を変更しました。一番早くて２日後ということだったので２日後に予約変更。再予約日の前日夕方、登録していた携帯電話にツアー会社から電話がかかってきて、翌朝も悪天候が予想されツアー自体をキャンセルするということだった。私たちはもうほかの日程の余裕がなかったのでキャンセルすることにしました。ツアー代は全額Alan1を通じて返却されるという説明もあり了解した。翌日にはAlan1から全額返却される旨のメールが届き、インターネットでクレジットカードのオンライン取引明細チェックをしたらその２日後にはツアー代全額が返却されていた。ツアー会社およびAlan1の迅速で適切な対応に安心しました。天候はどうしようもないのでいつかまたチャレンジしたいと思います。ただこのような天候に左右されるツアーのときはハワイでの携帯電話や連絡先を必ず届けておくことが大切だと感じました。また日本語ができるスタッフがいないツアー会社だと少し英語がわからないととまどうことがあるかもしれません。またカウアイ島のツアーだと冬よりも春や夏の方が天気が良い日が多いかもしれません。しかしカウアイの雨もなかなか味わいがあっていいものです。

Greatest experience of our 20 day stay on Kauai!! Would recommend this to anyone in a heartbeat.

My Mom, Sister and I went tubing, thinking that this would be a great time to catch some sun...we were very disappointed that the day was rainy. We went to the tubing anyway, and were we ever greatful that we did.
The experience that we had was very memorable...we bought a camera there and took pictures, we had so much fun!!
The staff was funny, experienced and knowledgeable. They made the drive up and back go so quickly, and the tubing, a once in a lifetime memory.
We are all "non-swimmers" so being in the water we were comfortable, being that it was shallow, and that they catered to making sure you got in and were ok all along.
The age span between Mother (57) and Daughter (29), made no difference, we all had just as much fun as the others.

This was really a great Luau, in our group there were some that had seen some and others that haven't seen them at all, and we all agreed that this was the best time, even though it rained!!
Such friendly, happy people, and fun for all age groups (30-63). We brought our group pic home and hung it up on the wall, a truly good time!

We totally enjoyed the river cruise and the fern grotto. We were a little disappointed we could not actually go into the grotto but totally understand. It will be good to come back and see it again after a few years and some more fern growth.

We have been to luau's on 3 islands and found this one the best ever. From the plantation tour to the food to the entertainment - it was all wonderful. We are so happy we decided to give it a try.

The wailua river cruise is very unique, we saw a lot of Kauai we didnt know was there, and learned a lot from our guide. The pace of the tour is slow and relaxed.

We had fun at the Smith Family luau, the food was good the show was good but we are faster paced people and this was a slower paced activity. It would be good for families and older couples.

Wow, we new the Napali Coast was impressive but we had no idea how beautiful it would be. With blue water, amazing cliffs and dolphins swimming alongside. we even saw a few humpback whales! the staff was very friendly and the snorkeling was great. We will certainly come back!

The staff was very nice and the boat ride was relaxing but the Fern Grotto itself was less than I expected, and I wasn't expecting much.
You don't go inside the cave. You just look at it from a distance.
You can see ferns growing from the face of a rock cliff where the cave is located. You view it from a platform where weddings are performed these days. You can't go inside to see the area where 100 people can gather.

This was a great event. You really felt like you were at someones home.

You can visit all the highlights of Kauai Island in one day. I joined an English tour with participants from America, Australia, and Japan, and we all got along well and had a great time on the bus. It was nice that the guide played the ukulele and sang along at various points during the tour. For lunch, we went to a restaurant in a golf course. The view was great and the food was delicious.

英語ツアーでアメリカ、オーストラリア、日本からの参加者でしたが、みなさんと仲良くなりバスの中でも盛り上がりました。途中途中でガイドさんがウクレレを弾きながら歌ってくくださるのもよかったです。
ランチは、ゴルフ場の中のレストラン。景色もよくおいしかったです。

Kipu Zipline Safari was a blast!! The tour is packed with 7 hours of fun activities. Although little pricey, but there is no other tour package on the island that can rival the Kipu Safari in terms of excitement. The tour guides are very knowledgeable about the island and extremely friendly. They're also very careful in handling our food. However, for those of you whose ideas of fun includes relaxing and sunbathing at the beach, this trip is not for you. But, if you're interested in little adventures and learnings and don't mind getting wet and muddy, this trip is not be missed.

On November 21, I went to Holoholo Charters. My family participated, and the weather was great, making it a very pleasant experience.

We were the only four Japanese people on board. I was worried about seasickness, so I took some motion sickness medication beforehand, but I had no worries that day at all. It seemed like no one was feeling seasick.

We started with snorkeling right away. There weren't many fish, but it was decent enough.

After that, we ordered some beers, which were delicious. Then we headed towards Napali, and on the way, we spotted a sea turtle. The staff pointed it out to us. Eventually, we encountered a pod of dolphins. They came quite close for a while, and we were able to watch them for a good amount of time. There seemed to be quite a few of them, and they were adorable.

After that, we headed towards Napali and saw filming locations for Jurassic Park, King Kong, and Pirates. The views were absolutely stunning, and I truly felt it was worth coming. The staff provided a lot of explanations, but since it was all in English, I didn't understand everything. My sister occasionally translated for me, but even without understanding, it was enjoyable. We got close to birds nesting on the cliffs and approached caves, which had many highlights and was quite impressive.

On the way back, we had lunch and returned to the port, but after eating, we suddenly felt very sleepy, and our family was the only one that fell into a deep sleep. I thought it was funny that we were the only ones sleeping while everyone else seemed so energetic. Some people were sitting outside the boat or lounging around, and it felt great with the wind blowing. The foreigners were getting sunburned from direct sunlight. Everyone seemed satisfied.

I think anyone visiting Kauai for the first time should definitely participate in this experience.

11月21日にホロホロチャーターズに行ってきました。
家族で参加したのですが天気もよくとても気持ちがよかったです。

日本人は私たち4人だけでした。船酔いが心配だったので事前に酔い止めを飲みましたがこの日は全く心配なかったです。船酔いしている人もいないようでした。

最初すぐにシュノーケルをしました。あんまりお魚はいませんでしたがまあそこそこという感じでした。

そのあとビールなど頼めばくれてとってもおいしかったです。
その後ナパリへむかうのですが途中ウミガメがいました。スタッフが教えてくれます。
その後ついにイルカの群れにも出会う事ができました。暫くイルカに近づいてくれて結構ながく見れました。かなりの頭数がいた感じです。かわいかったです。

そのあと ナパリに向かってジュラシックパークやキングコングやパイレーツなどの撮影したところをみました。
すばらしい絶景で、来てよかったとほんとに思いました。スタッフのかたがものずごく説明してくれるのですがなんせ英語なので詳しくはわかりませんでした。妹がちょくちょく通訳してくれたのですがわからなくても楽しいと思います。崖に巣を作っている鳥の近くにいったり洞窟に接近したりなかなか見所があって迫力がありました。

帰りはランチがあってまた港に戻りますがご飯食べた後は急に眠くなり私達の家族だけ爆睡でした。
寝ているのは私達だけでみんな元気だなーって思いました。
船の外に座ったりごろごろしたり皆適当にくつろいで風が気持ちよくて最高でした。外国人の方は直射日光をあびてあかーくなってました。
皆さん満足しているようでした。
カウアイ島の初めて行く人は是非参加した方がいいと思います。

I chose Smith's Tropical Luau because I had read some previous reviews and one reviewer stated they had been to a different luau every night and Smith's was the best. I was a passenger on the NCL Pride of America and the reviews for that luau were not good and I hate nasty food. So I chose Smith's for myself and my party and let me tell you, we were not dissapointed. First of all and probably the best thing was it was not as expensive as the other luau, next the food was great everything was very good (except the purple sweet potato, it was too dry and tasteless). The staff was great, they kept coming around asking if everything was okay. Also, there was a large crowd there, maybe 500 people maybe more, but everything ran smooth and efficiently. When we arrived we were escorted to a tram that took us for a narrated tour of the plantation and it was beautiful. Then we went into the large lanai to be seated for eating.
