Pro: sensational show!

Con: rushed diner and so-so food

We had a blast!!! Jacob our tour guide was AMAZING and EXTREMELY informative. Braiden was a BLAST in the water!!! We recommend the tubing adventure for everyone. We were treated extraordinary. We would do it all over again and looking forward to our next adventure!!!

Easy and fun activity to do with littles. The boat cruise is lovely and the fern grotto is beautiful. Stroller accessible throughout. Guided commentary on the way to the grotto and live entertainment on the way back. The staff is very kind.

We enjoyed the Wailua River Cruise immensely. Though it was less than two hours, the trip up the Wailua River was beautiful. The narration on the boat was informative and amusing. The Fern Grove at the end of the trip was stunning. Both at the Fern Grove and on the trip back we were entertained with music and hula dancing by charming performers who clearly love sharing these traditions with visitors. I should mention that I have mobility limitations, and the hosts on the boat were most kind and accommodating.

The trails are out in the open forests of Kauai, which made it amazing!! Waterfall swim only tops it off. Definitely do this

Great evening, there is lots to do and learn on the plantation before the show even begins!

Thesea caves definitely made the whole event even cooler! One of a kind experience.

The breakdown of the tour time included about 30 minutes of travel to the Fern Cave, and around 30 minutes spent around the cave, totaling a tour duration of one and a half hours. Since our children were 4 years old and 1 year and 9 months, it was great that both the parents and kids could enjoy it without getting too tired. Of course, you can fully enjoy nature while on the boat as you navigate the river and at the Fern Cave. Additionally, there is a good place for children to play nearby called Kamalani Playground, which was another positive aspect.

ツアーの時間の内訳としては、シダの洞窟への移動に片道30分程度、そしての洞窟周辺で30分程度の計1時間半のツアーでした。
子供たちが4歳と1歳9ヶ月だったので、親共々そこまで疲れず楽しめて良かったです。
もちろん川を進む船の中、シダの洞窟にて自然を満喫できます。
また近くにKamalani playgroundという子供たちが遊ぶには良い場所があるので、その点も良かったです。

Went on the afternoon trip with my best friend, we went as a birthday outing for him. The trip was SPECTACULAR, the cliffs and the water were gorgeous, we saw a a whale, the captain regaled us with facts of the coastline, and saw one of the sea caves. It was a little rough and we did not go in but it was still just as amazing all the same. We did not do any snorkeling (as it would be a little late in the day to do so) but we were permitted to jump out of the boat to swim around. It was fun, had a nice little meal. I will definitely go with this tour again if given the chance. A+.

Our highlight of our honeymoon was zip lining with this amazing Crew! Miles and Boo Boo were incredible! The views were gorgeous! So happy we looked around before just picking a random one

We had two different events with Kauai Backcountry Adventures and they are simply amazing. Very fun and friendly staff. If there are any questions you have, the staff knows and loves their home very much!

Reasonably priced river tour. There are some great views and the crew sings wonderful Hawaiian music. If your visiting for the first time bring your family and take the grotto tour.

Staff was friendly from first walking into the warehouse to our tour guide, Bubu, who was very knowledgeable and informative of the histories of Hawai'i as well as great places to visit while on Kaua'i.
Our tube instructors Keoni & Doza? were great at making sure no one strayed from the path and made everyone comfortable within our group. Which is really great because you can't control your tubes.. you WILL be bumping into each other.
The water is also very brisk & most of the ride is underground (in tunnels) so a rashguard is probably a good idea unless you like the cold.
Definitely something fun to do with friends, family, your other half, etc. We want to do their ziplining tour on our next trip!

A definite must do this activity was totally awesome extremely pleasant staff very very fun activity the staff really knew how to get the group engaged and become one far more than my expectations a lot of fun for the whole family and any age definitely 5 stars

Awesome trip, boat crew fantastic, captain Mike made sure we saw dolphins and whales, as well as a great trip up the Na Pali coast, would highly recommend this to everyone!

The guides were fantastic and did a great job in going over safety precautions. Views were fantastic, mud was FUN, and the waterfall was beautiful!

This was the best night of our trip, such a relaxing evening.

What an incredible ride and adventurous experience! Our guides were fantastic as well. We highly recommend this trip! The scenic views were breathtaking, and trekking on the ATV’s was super fun.

Great way to spent the day! Perfect for couples, everyone uses a double kayak. The included lunch was nice at the waterfall. Easy hike after the kayak route to the waterfall, any type of shoes or no shoes are doable. Our tour guide Izzy was super friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you !!

This was a great tour. The guide was knowledgeable as well as humorous. I also enjoyed the music and dance. Great tour for the price!!!
