We had Mark as a pilot and he was awesome! Very personable, informative, and had a great sense of humor. We got to see the whole island except for one canyon due to cloud cover. Would love to do it again!

Amazing tour with lava caves, hundreds of dolphins, sea turtles, a whale shark and gorgeous scenery! Best thing we did in Hawaii!

The performance was really colorful and the live music was a plus. The place is really pretty and well kept. All the people there were really nice! I highly recommend the experience. (We didn't do the whole Luau since we are vegan and we figured the meal experience wasn't for us)

A beautiful property and well organized event. Everyone was friendly, the food was delicious and the show was spectacular! You can’t visit Kauai without attending Smith’s Tropical Paradise.

The cruise to the grotto was good. Interesting history of the Smith family discussed on river boat. Scenery is good and the grotto is in a very lush location. The folks are very nice and accommodating. We chose the river cruise to be at the Luau on time.

Great location for a Luau. On the beach, cultural events, beautiful sunset, good food, talented performers. Great show!

This was a great tour and glad I chose the small airplane ride versus helicopter. Our tour guide was very informative and took note that most of us loved the waterfalls so it appeared he concentrated on this piece with extra attention. There was 6 of us in the group which was the entire plane. Two small children. Our 6 year old was extremely excited and loved the tour. She did get a bit warm in the plane towards the end. Glad we booked this tour!!!

My family enjoyed a wonderful day touring the Na Pali coast line. Captain Mike and his crew made their guests feel welcome, safe and part of the family. The bonus for me was the historic and cultural connection of the Mike and his crew to the land. We saw a mama whale and her calf up close. This excursion was the highlight of our vacation.

It was a great time. Really enjoyed it It was our birthday week and we had the best time. The boat ride, the songs, the hula dance was spot on.

What a beautiful experience! Comfortable, clean ride up calm river to breathtaking rainforest. Knowledgeable staff was informative and entertaining. Finally a great value!
Would recommend to anyone coming to Kauai. Will do again.

From beginning to end this was a wonderful experience! All the staff were amazing! We got to see incredible sites, snorkel, see dolphins and whales all in one day! Highly recommend this adventure!

We had Captain Mike, Leroy and Tony on our adventure. They were nice, professional and very informative. Will do again for sure!

This was a quick fun little trip. The staff was fun and informative.

Absolutely loved this experience and the helpers on board made it even better! I really enjoyed how we would go along and the captain would talk about a certain place or landmark. It was so fun stopping and relaxing for lunch and going for a swim. I do recommend to bring something if you get cold easily during the cruise. The captains on board were very friendly and constantly checking up on people!They were also very open to answer any questions people had.

Good show, just make sure you take bug spray, mosquitoes out in force.

I really enjoyed the tour other than not being able to hear what the narrator was saying along the trail. He should have had a megaphone or microphone so we at back could hear what he was saying. I heard from other people he was describing the plants & trees along the way, which I heard nothing.

We rented a car on the island and traveled to Hawaii as a mature couple. This time, we visited Oahu and Kauai. In Kauai, we were interested in the Fern Grotto and made a reservation for a sightseeing boat. After boarding, we enjoyed a luau while cruising up the river to the grotto. At the grotto, we listened to a delightful explanation in English. On the way back, we all sang together and had a great time. We couldn't make it to the hula dinner due to scheduling conflicts, but we were able to experience the atmosphere through this tour. I highly recommend it.

島でレンタカーを借りて、熟年夫婦でハワイ旅行しました。
今回は、オアフ島とカウアイ島。
カウアイ島では狙っていたシダの洞窟には観光遊覧船が気になっていて予約しました。乗船してからルアウ（古典的なフラ？）を見せて頂きながら、川を遡上し、洞窟まで行きました。洞窟では英語でゆかいな解説を聞けました。
帰りもみんなで一緒に歌を歌いながら楽しく戻ることができました。
フラのディナーに予定が合わず行けませんでしたが、こちらのツアーで雰囲気を味わえました。おすすめです。

There was 2 couples in our party. We all though the tour was beautiful and well worth it.

The performance was very entertaining and professional. The only issue I had was not being able to clearly hear the moderator who was on stage and telling the story. I had to read the details on the brochure to know what was going on. But the show was great and we also enjoyed the grounds and the vendors who were outside.

It was a fun time, informative and beautiful. The staff were kind and knowledgeable.

Such a great experience!! Skipper Whitney the grandson of the original Smith was a delight! I will go over and over again just for the beauty and history!

The tour guides were wonderful and the stories told were beautiful

The Luau event location where we ate and viewed the show was all under roof - very large roof. There is not a bad seat in the place with excellent viewing. The 3-man band for our show was outstanding! They wove the dancing and other acts into an historical account which added interest to the hula and fire dancing. Great costumes and enthusiasm from the performers. The food was medium grade with the desserts below medium grade. The process to be seated was an issue with us as a server is supposed to take you after checking in to your table. No server did that for us. Hence after everyone had been served their salads we noticed nobody brought us a salad. Their head server said since we were not seated properly we were not known to the servers as to who would be serving our table. That was a really bad answer to blame us for their mistake. Once they brought us our salad, they almost immediately were asking us to go through the buffet line for the main course and servers were asking for our unfinished salad plates. Other than this server issue, the venue and show was very good.

The food was probably the best on the island! I 100% recommend this luau! The venue itself is gorgeous and they let you wander around until the event starts so definitely get there a little early, it's worthwhile! The show itself was great as well.

Don't miss out, definitely a must when in Kauai!

My group and I enjoyed exploring the NaPali Coast with the captain and crew. Captain Mike, Elijah, and Leeroy were fantastic!
